Continuing my posts of "what if" teams, I decided to continue my train of thought from my last post and do another Dray and Hanna set. This time through Eldiw, the region from Xenoverse: Per Aspera Ad Astra, another of my favorite fan games, and one that people really should play at some point.

However, truth be told, I don't really think there's that grand of a story as last time nor a lot of involvement with the story, as that'd be a bit too coincidental. I think Instead these two just so happened to take their honeymoon to another region and went through it on a normal adventure. I think maybe they encountered a few things here and there related to crimes or the dimensional rifts, but overall their adventure would be set in an AU where things really didn't get TOO serious, and the worst was already handled by the time they got there.

more under the cut. As per usual, I made and edited my sprites with my usual resources just for fun, but the fakemon presented come directly from the game files.

I imagine Dray came to Eldiw about a year after the events of Tandor, and since then he got married to Hanna. The two would come to the NORMAL Eldiw, where the events of Team Dimension did occur, but they were quietly dealt with by your average teenage protagonist- If we were to somehow connect this to my AU Ashnime where Ash became involved with the plot of Xenoverse, then Ash got sent to the version more closely resembling the game's plot. Otherwise, the two probably never knew the other was there until maybe towards the end of both of their arcs when Ash is popped back out to the real world, and only in a slight "Wait, was that-" sort of passing way.

On his own, though, Dray has pretty much become way more confident in himself and is happy to have a quieter adventure with his wife. The ceremony was held back in Tauraro with all of their friends and family present (or in some cases, at least through video call), and of course their Pokemon from all over. How else would they celebrate their honeymoon than by another adventure together somewhere entirely different?

Their adventure through Eldiw was pretty nice, and for old time's sake, Dray took on the gym challenge while Hanna did research on the region- However, due to the 8th gym leader still being absent, he was no longer able to finish his challenge. This actually didn't bother him much, since apparently Eldiw doesn't have a "League" like the other regions per se. The more exciting parts of their journey came from taking in a rich new culture and from the heavily unexpected X Pokemon that spilled over from other dimensional rifts.

Overall they probably befriended Aster the professor and were offered pokemon to help explore the region and befriended the gym leaders and such. Probably spent some time at the university, exploring the canyon, exploring the pyramid, helping GEIST, and I think that the last of the journey ends with a Wallace Daddy concert, and then a week spent at Sakura Paradise.

So the team he had to explore with

Scaleon (Dragon): Dray of course couldn't resist the opportunity to adopt another Eevee, and this one evolved into the region's Dragon type Eeveelution. Scaleon was a very serious Eevee, and the same can be said about when it evolved. Dray initially got the idea to evolve it into Scaleon after seeing Cardinal Abraham in action once, and also on the suggestion of Hanna, who decided to evolve her Eevee into the other regional exclusive Eevee. As serious as Scaleon is, it's a bit selfish with how much attention it wants, and expects to be constantly given head pats.

Croakraze (Fire/Ground): The fire starter that Professor Aster chose to represent his region, and a bit of a show off. It sees itself as cool and badass, always showing off way too hard to the point that it burns through energy much quicker than usual. But when it wins, it wins with style. Water types absolutely scare it, though, revealing a somewhat cowardly side.

Skravroom (Steel/Sound): One of the regional exclusive Sound types and Dray and Hanna's main ride across the region once it evolved. It absolutely loves cars and vehicles and ever since it was a young Vroombug, it aspired to be the fastest motorcycle in the land. It quickly evolved and vowed to achieve its dream while whisking Dray and Hanna across the region at breakneck speed- stopping was harder to train, however

Sharpedo X (Water/Ghost): one of the infamous X pokemon that appear in Eldiw, this particular pokemon was a member of a school of X Carvanha that tried to sink a paddle boat Dray and Hanna took together. Since then it has been a bit defiant and rebellious, but quick to mind when facing a strong opponent. It can serve as water travel in emergency, but it's ferocious and reckless nature make it a better battler than anything. I imagine by the end it finally learns to bond with Dray and respect him.

Tyranitar X (Rock/Bug): Although the major parts of the Team Dimension plot never happened in this dimension, Dray and Hanna did still find labs left abandoned by the thwarted gang in their dimension, and in one they found a sealed away Tyranitar that had been experimented on to have the X genome. At first it was a rabid beast hell bent on destruction, and yet Dray never relented abd vowed to save it and give it a better life. It took a lot of doing, but eventually Tyranitar came to understand it was safe and surrounded by people that cared about it, and accepted them as it's family. It became one of Dray's aces from then on.

Mega Raikou (Electric): the dimensional rifts didn't just spit out X Pokémon, but several rifts to strange dimensions from past, present, and future. One such Pokémon was Raikou, and it was infused with Furious Energy that allowed it to Mega Evolve. Although it was highly dangerous and a legendary Pokémon at that, Dray saw the damage it was causing a city and knew something had to be done. Through a furious battle, Dray finally won and earned Raikou's respect, calming it immensely. Raikou willingly gave itself to Dray, including a Mega Stone. Dray is still in disbelief about it, despite the fact he was Dracomeha's chosen back in Tauraro. Raikou, despite being a legendary Pokémon, is a bit dimwitted. It behaves much like a large cat, purring aggressively to Dray and Hana, butting it's head for pets, and screaming for food- in Raikou's case, this summons thunder and lightning, so the two are pretty prompt with feeding it.

Similarly to Dray, Hanna is much more confident the more time she spends with her husband. Her people skills have improved so much that she's now even better than Dray with self introductions. I think I covered most of what happens to her in the Dray blurb tbh, but I think she takes particular interest in Newtron University and its Daycare facility, taking some classes and eventually enrolling into a program for it. As of now, she's certified to open and run a Daycare Center back home. She also is a fan of Wallace Daddy's music, getting Dray and her backstage passes to meet him and several indie bands.

She's also taken a larger interest in the dimensional rifts, finding very odd rifts that hold what are called "Vintage" pokemon. Not a lot of information is known about them, but some are entirely new species and some are variants of other species.

So, her team:

Bandeon (Sound): the Eldiw exclusive SOUND type Eeveelution that evolved roughly the same time as Dray's Scaleon. Bandeon and Scaleon are brother and sister, with Hanna taking to the runt of the litter that would eventually evolve into Bandeon. Bandeon is a very gentle and carefree Pokemon that will actually sing when it is happy- which is often.

Vesperfum (Grass/Dark): Hanna picked the grass starter provided by Aster. It fancies itself as Hanna's personal body gaurd and retainer. Highly curious of noises.

Rapidash X (Storm mode: Electric): Hanna found a Ponyta X wounded in the wild and carefully tended to its injuries. It was newborn as well, so she had to bottlefeed it and care for it like she were it's mother. When it evolved, it became fiercely loyal and powerful.

Platinum Lucario: although it looks different, this Lucario is more or less identical to others. Hanna found it in the Sakura Paradise and befriended it with cookies. For some reason, Lucario has interpreted this as a kindness that he must repay and immediately joined her. It's serious in nature, but has a soft spot for Hanna

Beta Wooper: Hanna accidentally tripped and fell into portal to another dimension, finding this strange but loveable Wooper. It noms on things it is curious about, and sprays water at people it likes.

Bombseal: another Pokémon from another dimension, this time one that neither Hanna or Dray has ever seen, but feel as if it's from the old days. Bombseal likes to balance things on it's nose, and is EXTRAORDINARILY good at it, even balancing Hanna on its nose with relative ease.

Anyway that's all. I think next I'll be working on a newer fakemon game.
