ended up doodling a design for my newrival fankid, kaho ( she / they. ) she'd be around 5 years old in scarvio, but i also drew what she looks like during her pokémon journey.

they quite a lot like wally when he was younger, being on the shyer side and struggling with self-confidence. a lot of people expect her to follow in her parents' footsteps by either becoming a gym leader or champion, but she's always dreamed of becoming a top coordinator like her auntie lisia. the only issue is that they suffer from stage fright so their journey focuses on them learning to overcome their fears and achieve their dreams with the help of their friends, family, and pokémon!

her starter is yuka the sprigatitio, which was a special gift from her parents. apparently, wally got her through one of his old students at blueberry academy. :3c

Last Art of the Year (and I was finally able to find motivation to draw after 3 months... ;A; ). In a way... the last art will also be a segway into what to expect from me art-wise in the coming year~ ewe In other words: More art-related things for Destiny Heroes! (That is, if I can get through commissions in a timely manner; priorities have to come before the art I make for myself (yeah, I know that, as of right now, that's the pot calling the kettle "black")). Anyway~ I had been thinking about where Mattison's journey sort of started from, and that was upon meeting Casey. A little over a year after her brother left home, Mattison had retreated into be a quiet kid that just played by herself. Her brother was the only friend she had, and she didn't really know how to make friends--much less play with kids her own age--, so meeting this openly friendly kids was a bit of a culture shock for her. But, Casey was the ray of sunlight that sort of help bring Mattison out of her shell, and the two would be best friends for years to come ^u^ Also... As you may have noticed from the Subtitles... yes, I changed Victoria's name to "Casey". The name "Victoria" was meant to be a play-on-words (as the Pokémon series is known to do with the naming convention of its characters) for the Latin word for "victory"; as it would not only highlight her spunky and confident extroverted personality, but also be a nod to Ash's victories in his past (Primarily with the Champion's 8, the Battle Frontier Winner, the first Orange Islands Champion, and, of course, the first Alola League Champion). So, with that in mind, I decisded to change her name to Casey (short for Cassandra). There was another reason I changed it to that name specifically, of course. It would also be another nod to one of the 3 names Ash's English names. According to Rachel Lillis, 4Kids Original voice for both Misty and Jessie, Ash's name was supposed to be either "Casey" or "Alex". Since both of the unchosen options are unisex names, I felt that "Casey" would be a nice fit for this spunky spitfire~
