I've updated my "Turbo Pokédex" app⭐️
Features all 1025 Pokémon (including Indigo Disk!)
Has instant search, type matchups, and pictures from Pokémon HOME (incl. all shinies, gender diffs, formes, variants, megas, g-max, etc.)
Yes it also includes ALL variants of Alcremie.
Comes in two flavors, Lite (has smaller 112x122 pictures) and HD (has the full resolution 512x512 pictures from Pokemon HOME).

The Pokemon HOME app limiting random features and information to either the mobile or console versions is SO clunky and annoying.
My goal: to check which of my favorite Pokemon and shinies stored in HOME don't have the Paldea Champion Ribbon yet, so I can bring those into Scarlet and get it for them. But! You can only view what ribbons a Pokemon has on the mobile version of the software! And you can't move Pokemon to your switch games from mobile!!! So you have to:
quit out of the console app, if you opened it already because you thought this would be a relatively simple task
open the app on mobile
manually document which Pokemon don't have the ribbon- like, on a piece of paper or something
close the mobile app (you can't have both versions of the app open simultaneously)
open the app on console
move them from HOME into Scarlet, referring to aforementioned list
Now you might say "There is a custom tag feature in Pokemon HOME! You could apply a tag to the Pokemon you plan to move instead of making a physical note on a piece of paper!" But unfortunately, the only aspect of the tag you can see on the console version is the color- the name of the tag isn't visible. and I'm already using every color of tag available
(also: you can only make and apply tags on mobile. other mobile exclusive things: wonder trade and gts, viewing 90% of achievements, viewing models, switching between a pokemon's stats for different games it can go in without switching what game you're planning on moving things between)
#pokemon home#pokemon#i need a text post tag#i have more complaints too. i should make a comprehensive list. just for me#like: shinies don't have any symbol marking them as such on the GTS. so for the really subtle shinies? you just have to look REAL careful#whenever you import pokemon from Bank they automatically get tagged with a new tag with the name of the Box that they were imported from#which is maybe useful to somebody but its just super annoying for me to have to keep deleting the 'Kanto 1' tag from all of my Bank imports#the lighting in the model viewer is really fucking bad and makes the pokemon look flat and undefined#overlapping areas that are the same color blend together visually#for that matter; the HOME renders are really fucking ugly. compare them to the sugi art they're posed after sometime. terrakion. its WILD#the lag when moving between pages of boxes on the console version when you have a lot of pokemon stored in HOME is MISERABLE#the mobile app and console app have different sets of achievements that are only viewable on their respective apps???? its weird#can't reorder pokemon's box positions on mobile; you just get a big list that you can sort different ways#this doesn't affect their box placement at all#the tags seem really useful at first but if you're moving pokemon between HOME and games a lot?#you have to reapply the tags to those pokemon every time you put them back in HOME because that data is lost once they leave the app#they never fixed the Spinda problem with BDSP; they just made it so that you can't bring Spinda in or out of those games

Welcome to my very epic modded 3DS :D I’m gonna download pokémon x, rhythm heaven, and sonic generations tomorrow but it is currently late (I need to set the clock for daylight savings lol it’s an hour ahead rn, it’s 2am) and I thus want to go to bed <3

Happy Summer Solstice! 6/21/23
I did not take aesthetic photos today 😔 but it was a very good day. I stayed decently focused working from home, wrote a piece that I’ve been meaning to get to, made a new friend on tumblr and the forest app :) (open to make more as well), and ran a delightful dnd session. Random Pokemon Generator – What is this?
Push button > get a bunch of randomly generated Pokemon. Many of these exist on the internet, but with mine you have a ton of filters and you can generate as many Pokemon as you want!
Updates:
Added Iron Leaves and Walking Wake.
Higher quality images! Switched (mostly) over to the HOME style images. This also means SV images! They’re not placeholders anymore!
New Setting: Image Size. To go with the above, you can now set the size of the images (S,M,L,XL).
Also, Animate Images now defaults to “off”. Doesn’t look as good with the non-box sprites, but I’m leaving it there for people who like it!
Added missing Hisui/Paldea data for filters, like Shape and Base Stats, Other.

Hi. I just saw your post about the Camino while and proceeded to spend over an hour reading various things about it. Suffice to say I am extremely interested in making this happen for myself; do you have any more specific advice beyond what you already talked about in your post?

(Referring to: The Camino de Santiago, or Way of St James, a medieval Christian pilgrimage route that leads to the Spanish city of Santiago. The most common pathway starts in the mountains on the border of Spain and France and proceeds across the north of Spain, a route that takes about six weeks for most people on foot. There are many non-Christian reasons to hike the Camino, which is scenic, safe and has excellent infrastructure; you only need to be doing the hike intentionally “in an attitude of search” to be a pilgrim. Pilgrims on the route are eligible for extremely cheap lodgings and meals, and are equipped with pilgrim passports to collect unique stamps at scenic points. At the end of the pilgrimage the stamps are checked, and those who have completed the required distance are issued a campostela, or special certificate, conferring the benefits of pilgrimage; for the religiously devout, this is often an absolution from sins. There are other traditions, such as bringing a stone from your home to place on a pilgrim shrine that has become a mountain of stones. It’s generally held to be one of the things you remember all your life, and that the fellowship and company of interesting people on the Camino is a standout experience. Given how many people on tumblr say things like “I wish I could do a real life pokemon journey” or “if only real life gave you video game quest awards” and so on, it’s actually a surprise to me that more people on here aren’t Camino dreamers.)
Anyway, unfortunately, although my Camino de Santiago has been deeply/realistically planned since I was 20, various startling events have meant that I haven’t started it yet. I have slightly spoiled myself for some key parts of Spain already, but I’m keeping that separate from actually walking the Camino. I’m afraid it’ll be in the 2030s before I do it, because I now have small children (too young to come with me or leave alone for 6 weeks.) I’m not worried - it’s a medieval hiking trail, it’ll keep - but I’m also not a lived-experience expert, just an armchair fan for now!
However, among the many benefits of a well-trodden path include the huge amount of information available about the Camino de Santiago. There are books, blogs, forums, a subreddit, lots of self-filmed YouTube documentaries from every flavor of influencer, from the insufferable to the admirable; and plenty of proper travel documentaries. the oldest guidebook is a thousand years old; the oldest traveller advice is found in gilded medieval manuscripts. It has multiple smartphone apps.
I wish you the best of luck on learning about this. I think it’s a very healthy kind of dream.

I think there'd be a period of time after Arven's birth that Turo/Sada would accompany him, bring him along anywhere he/she went, such as the Academy, the research lab, etc.
So, maybe for some moments during this period, Arven would really be proud that his dad/mom was a famous genius.

A bit of a crackfic because I'm like that so be prepared for hints of that!
This is also gender neutral and it's pretty short because it's a prologue.
I'm also giving you some animal companions because I said so-
Prologue - Am I Dead?

It was just a normal winter day. The sky was clear and blue, snow covered the ground and most of the animals are in hibernation.
But a certain (h/c) person was going down a hill at speeds equal to a bullet train on a sled, laughing as they slide down. You threw your arms up, turning around a tree. As you slide down a flat surface, you crashed into a boulder. Thankfully, you had no serious injuries, but your sled was destroyed.
"Aww.... My sled's broken..." You muttered, holding up some pieces of the broken sled. You suddenly laughed, turning your hand a bit while it started to glow. The pieces of the sled moved around, going into its places and soon, the sled was all brand new, not a single trace of damage on it.
"Good as new." You said to yourself, smiling at the newly repaired sled. You looked up at the sky, noticing that it was getting dark and decided to head back home. As soon as you entered your home, a small blur of pink came rushing at you, jumping into your arms. It was one of your animal companions, and she was excited to see you again.
"Hello to you too, Yume." You said, hugging the small creature close to your chest. Yume is a small pale pink fox with six fluffy tails and dark pink doe like eyes. (She basically looks like a fusion between a Vulpix and an Alcremie. I'm a bit of a Pokemon player lmao) She was a dream spirit, one of the rarest creatures in your world.
"Mei!" Yume exclaimed, rubbing her head against your chest. You held Yume and walked to the back of your home, which held most of your other animal companions. Your biggest one was a massive serpent with shiny scales and ocean blue eyes. She looked at you and nudged your head. You laughed and put Yume down, pulling out two cooked alligators. (Don't ask, just roll with it 😂)
"Hungry, girl?" You asked, holding up the two alligators to your serpent. She sniffed the alligators and chewed on them, eating it slowly. You smiled at her, patting her head as she ate the two alligators.
"Guess you were. Good night." You said, patting all of your animal companions and telling them good night. You exited the room and made your way to your room, with Yume following you all the way. You hopped in your bed, laying down as Yume got into a pouncing position, wagging her butt and jumped up on the bed. She approached you and curled up into a ball, purring in her sleep. You stroked her fur, feeling yourself falling asleep.
"Night, Yume...." You mumbled.

"...... Wake up..... Wake up, miss." An unfamiliar voice whispered. You felt hands shaking your shoulders gently, repeatedly telling you to wake up. You slowly opened your eyes, your vision a bit blurry but it became clear after you fluttered them a couple of times. You groaned, sitting up from what seemed like a sort of infirmary.
"Ugh, who's there?..." You groaned out, yawning and rubbing your eyes. The person who was trying to wake you up was a young girl who looked like an teenager. The girl had light purple hair and green eyes. She wore a orange jacket over a white shirt along with black shorts and one long black sock. She also wore shoes that looked modern.
"You're awake! I thought you were dead." The girl spoke, looking a bit scared of you. You just stared at her for a full minute before you jumped out of the bed.
"HOLY MOTHER OF STARS, WHERE AM I AND WHERE ARE MY CHILDREN?!" You shouted out, pulling out your weapon. The girl screamed in fear, backing away from you.
"I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE! DON'T KILL ME, PLEASE!" The girl begged, using her arms to shield her face. You immediately calmed down, lowering your weapon and gave her a smile.
"Okay!" You answered, a flowery aura appearing around you. The girl was shocked at the sudden change of your behaviour. She lowered her arms down, taking some steps towards you.
"So.... Are you a goddess?" She asked hesitantly.
"Well, yes, but actually no." You answered, leaving the girl confused. You froze when a woman with dark hair and the same eyes as the girl come in the room.
"You're awake. Good." The woman spoke, looking at you with a neutral expression on her face. You had to admit, she was pretty, especially with the wing clip in her hair. You blinked at the woman.
"Who the hell are you two?" You finally asked, pointing at both of the females. Seemingly recognising your divine aura, the woman bowed down.
"Forgive us. I am the eldest sister of the Valkyries, Brunhilde. And this is Göll, the youngest sister." Brunhilde introduced herself and the girl named Göll.
"Okay, but where am I? Am I dead?" You asked. Brunhilde got up and straighten her attire and cleared her throat.
"No, you're in Valhalla." That answer made you short circuit. That was the last place you wanted to be in.
"WHHHHHAAAATTTTTT?!"

Self aware au, Legends, Sword and shield, Bdsp, ScarVi, Lets go pikachu and eevee.
Arceus decides to actually make a stable connection between all the self aware game Universes, but only the pokemon ones, for now, as he can use Pokemon home as the bridge to make the connection, once he gets a good amount understanding he'll expand for the over games. He also connects to the Players IRL phone thanks to the Mobile app of Home, turning it into a Arcphone, allowing them to enter this Connected Domain and interact with all the characters and pokemon, including all the MCs that they are now adopting as their children.
Arceus is also glad the Player only has games like Monster Hunter(rise and Stories 2), Digimon(Cyber sleuth complete edition, and Survive), Animal crossing(new horizons) and one Dating light novel game(NekoMiko). If he had any big evil monster games like resident evil, he'd probably have a destroy that Universe to keep everything else safe.
Thats such a cute idea, connecting universes through your phone (´ ∀ ` *)
It would be cool, having all your friends connected to you through your phone that you can talk to and show the world!
Maybe even connect it through Pokemon Masters so they all can talk to you face to face? It would be fun!

Hey curious. How would the self-aware bsd gang react to stuff like Pokemon Go? Especially while they were inside of the reader's phone
At first, they will be very confused about any AR game. In their eyes, it just an overcomplicated fitness app.
But, thanks to these apps, they can a better look at Reader's home and city.
But then, they will look into AR games.
Kids will search for Pokémon anime/manga/games and soon will understand, why you have this app. Might want to install it on their phones, when they got into a real world. And got phones.
Adults won't be that interested in the Pokémon franchise. But, if Reader have a bootleg versions installed (there were a PokémonGO clone with cats), some adults might try them out of curiosity.

Peter has never spent this long by himself in the hospital. Sure, he has had a few stays the last year, but he has never spent more than an hour alone.
Telling time isn’t easy for a Little, but it feels like a long time now. Peter has watched half a dozen episodes of Pokemon, and the Netflix app is telling him he has two more episodes to go before the next season.
A nurse comes in, startling Peter. The boy jumps visibly, and the nurse apologises gently.
“Hey there. You’re all alone?”
Peter doesn’t dare nod, just blinks.
“Do you want me to call your CGs?”
But, before Peter can respond, the door opens again and Stephen comes in. He is dressed in scrubs, but Peter doesn’t notice right away. He is just very glad to see his Daddy.
“Daddy!”
“Hi, sorry, it took so long. Papa and I had to fix some things at home.” Stephen says, coming over to kiss and hug Peter.
Truth be told, Peter is a bit mad he was left alone for so long, but most of all he is happy to get kisses and hugs. Daddy cups his cheeks, kissing his forehead and nose.
“Where’s Papa?”
“He’s coming too. I came first since I’m starting my shift soon.”
That makes Peter pause. He shakes his head so that Stephen lets go of his cheeks. Daddy came just to work? And not be with him?
Stephen can tell Peter is not happy to hear that he will be working, and it tears at his heart in the worst way possible. But, it cannot be helped. And, actually, in the long run, an extra ER evening shift is exactly what will help them financially in the long run.
But, Stephen doesn’t get into it. That is a long and complicated conversation to have with a Little.
“Uhm- sorry, did you come to do his vitals or?” Stephen asks, turning to the nurse still in the room.
“Oh! Yeah- I did. I was here earlier too, so I think Peter remembers me.”
“Marissa…?” Peter says quietly, beaming when the nurse nods.
“Yeah! That’s me. I’ll do the same checks as last time. Is that all right?”
Peter flickers his eyes to his Daddy, but Daddy is busy looking at his phone. It makes the Little even more angry.
“Yeah… it’s okay.” Peter replies to Marissa.
“All right, baby.” Stephen says, pocketing his phone while Marissa gets gloves. “I have to go now, but Papa is on his way so he will be here soon and spend the night. Okay? I might not be able to drop by, but I’ll come after my shift. You might be asleep then.”
Stephen leans down to kiss Peter again. The boy doesn’t feel nearly as loved as he did when Daddy first came. He doesn’t lean into the touch, but just lets Daddy do it. Much like he lets Marissa check his vitals again.
“Bye, baby! See you soon!”
“Bye…”
