So... I was half asleep and thinking about what cool types of Pokemon mystery dungeon explores of sky hero could be... and well.. this happened

Me:Huh I wonder which Pokemon would be cool

Brain: Phantump

Me:Oh that’s be cute

Brain:Because they died when falling through the time stream

Me:...

Me:...wait

Brain:They were lost in the time stream and so their soul latched on to a stump and became Phantump

Me: Wait stop!

Brain: Imagine when Grovyle realizes their partner died, died when they lost them

Me: NO!

Brain: Or they could a Yamask, what if Duskull and Grovyle recognized the face on the mask-

The best partner choice in Mystery Dungeon Explorers is either Treecko or Torchic.

Treecko would be extremely poetic. By fate and friendship, you meet a friend that's a reflection of your best friend, and you don't even know it. They're very different from Grovyle but maybe they'd have been the same if they grew up in the same time.

Torchic, because Team Skull calls them "chicken" and that implies Pokémon bigotry, and the insane whiplash that is
