Idea: progress timeline video where I hold each pokemon. Like the other video I did but instead of the pokeamidex posed pictures with the backgrounds, it's the foth pictures where I hold each crochet. It's gonna be 500ish of them retroactively held but still I think it would be neat

Dare i say it... I have made another au... Number 8...

I'm actually surprised it took me this long to make a wing au considering how much i love birds. They are a special interest of mine.

So, Wing au. Humans having pokemon traits (even pokemon from another region) is commonplace. Ingo and Emmet were born with Zekrom and Reshiram wings respectively, but no one has ever heard of Just Some Dudes having legendary wings, so it was dismissed as being from undiscovered pokemon or regional forms.

Until the events of BW. Then everyone and their mother knew what the legendary dragons looked like. And everyone who's ever been to Nimbasa has heard of the train guys with coats that match their black and white wings.

There are more little things in the readmore, but this is the basic premise.

Elesa has vikavolt wings. They are verrry pretty. And great for absorbing atmospheric static.

Uncle Drayden propoganda again. He's the only one who suspected the true nature of the twins' wings, but Ingo and Emmet didn't particularly care as long as it didn't interfere with their normal routines. They were happy with being just some guys.

Ingo still ends up in Hisui. I have Plans™ for that :>

ive been playing a lot of pokemon-like games lately to search for something new to fill the void of the desire to collect creatures... so many games show so much promise but there's always something holding them back. it's usually just like one thing and i cant get too mad bc a lot of them are either extremely inexpensive or outright free. but it sucks to be playing a game thats otherwise solid only for it to suck bc like, the writing is abysmal or the gameplay loop is miserable. the most egregious thing ive encountered in a lot of these games is the lack of a robust bestiary. like thats the main reason i played pokemon and stuck with it, when prof rowan asked me to research for him i took that seriously 😭 i want to know abt the animals please for the love of god give me a description, a habitat range some fun facts. please

I like that line in the detective pikachu movie where the main girl says she’s sick of writing fluff pieces about the top cutest pokemon because “newflash, they’re all cute.” Correct. Weezing, Giratina, Pinsir, Tyranitar, Dusknoir, Conkeldurr, Yvetal, all of the Ultrabeasts, apparently this woman scoffs at the very notion that these could be ranked on any scale other than “cute” or EVEN that their level and flavor of cuteness could ever be meaningfully ranked above or below any other conceivable Pokemon. I mean obviously I agree personally I mean we all do we’re all sophisticated people here but realistically I don’t think that’s the mainstream consensus in either of our worlds

I’m being super cool and maybe maybe not taking inspiration from your MLP gods to rework Legendary (&mythical) Pokemon to be more Godlike

One fun note about my gods is that their appearance is actually a nod to canon changes that alicorns seem to go through as they develop. The reason they are elongated to freakish skinny proportions is because twilight gets taller, thinner, and longer.

My gods just continue that trend instead of stopping.

And I took the tallness part to an extreme too. This is an accurate scale of changes over 150 years

When you make design choices for your interpretation, think about what you're basing them on. What traits do god pokemon have? What happens if you push that to an extreme? Pokemon already have a change-system built in as evolutions, often making them bigger and more complex, with more features/limbs/etc. What would a god pokemon look like if it evolved over and over and over again into godhood?

You're welcome to make your gods spindly and just copy my technique, but it may help make it your own to base it on your target world or your own logic.

Always good to have a reason for what you do! but you don't really need one. you can do whatever you want and I'm happy to lend out my worldbuilding as inspiration.

Having a moment, but I don't think I could ever express enough how much joining an adventure team has helped me. I was at a real lowpoint when I became a part of Team Scales and would reject everyone around me but thanks to them, I learned to open up and trust in other Pokemon again.

Ok, I need you to judge my ratings here. The scale is "For Delia which is the biggest perk about having Jessie as girlfriend/wife "

1. Her love language is food and now she has someone to constantly feed (not job related)

2. Live, warm, living body pillow to snuggle at night

3. Someone to kill insects/pests for her (do they actually have insects in pokemon world ? unclear )

4. She is pretty and hot , hot and pretty and hot ... and there's nothing wrong with staring at one's own girlfriend

5. Nice to have an adult to talk to

6. So many more clothes to share
