Kabu

Extremely traditional, he has the entire date planned out has a whole list of things to do and places to eat, and things to see.( more often than not already has a reservation planned)

No matter if it's your first second third or 600th the date he'll always feel nervous to take you out somewhere.

You never expected Kabu to be so romantic, he just wants to make sure you're having a good time.

Kabu's idea of a date is just as traditional a fancy dinner or somewhere quiet and go home.

The gym leader does admit that it has been sometime since he's taken someone out, and he wouldn't be surprised if dating has changed in recent years, so he would be open to anything if you decide to change it. But his first instincts will always be take you out to dinner.

Now he doesn't mind taking you places to have fun it will just take him a while to let loose a little bit. He'd much rather take it slow.

During the actual date, Kabu won't take his eyes off you; you have his full attention.

Kabu prefers taking it slow he is not interested in flings when he is with someone he is in for the long haul. He wishes for a partner to stay by his side.

Kabu says is not a jealous man but you can't help but notice his eyes seemed to Twitch when someone gets a little buddy with you.

Raihan

Raihan thrives off dates while a dinner is considered for him, it isn't his go-to.

Like the extroverted battery he is he will drag you to any place he thinks is fun and wants to bring you to. Every attraction in Galar are you two have gone to at least twice. And precious thumb drives are filled with pictures and videos of every date. The ones he posts on his social media are not even 1% of the ones he has.

Raihan is less of a list and plan guy and more of a follow your heart.

If going out isn't really your thing or going anywhere where there's a lot of people he'll try to meet in the middle because a date is successful when two people are having fun.

As much as I do see Raihan being the more extroverted going out and doing things kind of boyfriend I do think he is rather flexible with Partners who don't really want to go out.

Raihan is extremely perceptive of other people, and we'll take note of your likes and dislikes, to be completely honest he is the happiest when you're happy.

Raihan is a self-proclaimed Master at dating spots; like I said, he is highly perceptive of the people he is dating. He'll pick a place that he knows you'll like, and he'll pick up on your habits pretty quickly. He'll know when you are or not having fun.

Raihan is a very doting boyfriend anyone would be lucky to be with him.

I also see him as quite the gift-giver as well, he puts a lot of thought into every gift he gives you, ( sometimes he has Dragon brain and gives you a Shiny rock or nick nack he randomly saw and made him think of you)

Piers

Eh, to be completely honest Piers doesn't care one way or the other; if going on dates means a lot to you, then sure, he'll do it to make you happy. But Piers can spend time with you in any way he wants to without any of that fancy stuff.

A guy like him, oblivious and doesn't know what romance even is, would be very in trouble on a first date, lucky for him, his sister has his back whether he wants help or not. What kind of sister would she be if she let her brother crash and burn? And Raihan can supply good spots in Galar that have good reviews and are good dating spots

Piers classifies anything as a date, even if it's just you, too, having a lazy Sunday on the couch.

Peirs ideal date if you were to ask him he, would probably say being at home with his partner eating pizza and watching The Great Galar Bake Off.

But once in a blue moon, Piers will knock you out of the park with something you never expect from him. Taking you outside of the town and watching the Stars or Have you listen to a short song he wrote about you. You have no idea where is this comes from because usually, your Piers has no romantic bone in his body.

If you would like to take him out somewhere, sure, he'll bite. He doesn't mind either way.

Piers has a tendency to be a little protective over people he really likes.

Maybe even a little bit possessive over you specifically.

Alright, so we’ve got this Pokemon Sw/Sh ‘Darkest Day’ AU, where all the characters and locations are there, but it’s medieval times, baby. Or medieval-ish, since we do mix some other centuries in on a few elements. 

So, in normal canon, all the Gym Leaders and such are essential to their towns, so we made them all some form of nobility. Also, there’s a war, which means everyone gets some sort of martial discipline/weapon.

Milo

Title: Viscount

Weapon: He gets to have a scythe. Don’t tell me it’s impractical, it’s cool.

Nessa

Title: Viscount

Weapon: Spear and weighted net for a fishing theme.

Kabu

Title: Earl

Weapon: Bisento; he brought it from Hoenn. A practical weapon with a stern, powerful air.

Bea

Title: Viscount

Weapon: Brass knuckles. SHE WILL PUNCH YOU.

Allister:

Title: Viscount

Weapon: Shortsword, but he’s not good at it yet so he mostly uses his Ghosts to possess, confuse, and levitate threats.

Weapon: She is too old for battle now, but when she was young, she had a rapier. Classy.

Weapon: Warhammer. This is purely for coolness.

Weapon: Chakram. I have no reason for this it’s just cool.

Weapon: Great axe, because I’ve always thought of Piers as ‘slow to anger but for the love of god don’t piss him off’ kind of guy. A weapon that swings relatively slowly but is unstoppable once in motion is perfect. Also, axe as in guitar 8D

Weapon: Dragon-headed mace, no real reason.

Weapon: Longsword, because it’s classic.

Im genuinely so excited for the new Pokemon games. Like I love most of the "worst" games, but seeing a genuinely good game where they really seem to listen to a lot of fans.

And I think my favorite thing is A: seeing all Pokemon eat in picnics instead of one at a time like curry and camping and B: grooming pokemon is back!!! I've missed Pokemon care so much!!!

And then the amazing new designs. I'm super hyped.

And you know...all the super attractive characters and I got another darker aesthetic gym leader that looks like he's way too exhausted (Piers 2.0 lol with a whip) and my ice gender euphoria dude. I just. Pokemon is fantastic at character designs. And look at the curly hair!!! Ah!!! I'm so excited! I cried at the curly hair rep being shite in Sword/Shield so seeing better wavy/curly hair rep already has me excited. Please let us wear hats with curly hair now :') hats push curly hair down and it's SUPER cute! I had an OC with slight waves in Sw/Sh and you couldn't wear hats and it made me upset.

Awwwh, bean I feel that. Things have been rough around here too. Just gonna throw this out for anyone, but y’all are welcome to send asks and message me ^^ I hope this writing makes you feel better

Ended up getting kinda sappy at the end but hey, ya know what, sappy is hella good. Get some sap y’all.

You and Piers had been dating for about six months, and though he had known you for even longer, he had never seen you like this. Irritated a lot of the time, sometimes snappy, and overall stressed. He knew some shit was happening with your family, but the more that these small outbursts happened, the more that he would start to get concerned.

And he knew you and himself well enough to know that this smile you had on at this moment was entirely fabricated. He could see the anger in your eyes as you lovingly smiled at your mother and father, both of which were evaluating Piers heavily.

What he didn’t know before you two started dating was that you came from a prominently rich family, and one that valued the whole “arranged marriage” situation more than most folk would. He remembered when you called your mother, telling her about this whole ordeal, that you two started dating. And he remembered that her screaming over the phone drove you to tears.

Ever since then, you had been stressed and angry, with only Pier’s arms as a comfort. His cuddles were the only way that you got sleep now, and his songs and kisses were what made you smile. You body language was tense, even as you held onto his hand, and as he watched, he squeezed your hand. You glanced up, confused for a second, but he sent you a reassuring smile. Finally, a real smile from you, and your shoulders slumped. This man certainly knew how to ground you.

“So, this is the man you claim to love,” your mother all but snarled out, bringing your attention back. She picked up her teacup, sipping from it and sending a pointed look at Piers. “He’s… exuberant, to say the least.”

You stiffened. “You’re the one who said you wanted to meet him.” Ah yes, that’s why he loved you. Despite all this rich upbringing, you were feisty and refused to give in.

“I did, yes, but I didn’t expect you to find a diseased zigzagoon.”

You were about to throw hands with this woman, but he just squeezed your hand again and chuckled. “I’ve heard worse.” He looked dead on at your mother, who seemed to be more the head of this household than the father, who stayed quiet on the couch beside her. “If I may be so bold, what did you intend to get out of this meeting?”

He heard a chuckle from the father, who was given a glare by the matriarch. “I wanted to see if you were a good fit for the family line. We already had a suitor picked out for her, one of proper stature and renown. And then, she calls me and says that she found one herself? Disgraceful. I wanted to see you to get a proper reading. She’s my daughter.”

“She’s not your property, though.”

The air in the room was tense, and the entire family looked towards Piers, the mother more in shock that he would talk back, and the father more amused than anything.

“Come again?”

“She’s not your property. You can’t sell her off to the highest bidder like she’s an antique.” He wrapped his arm around your shoulders and pulled you in close. “And I’m sorry, but I’ve no intention on letting one of the greatest lights of my life go just because you found someone who would take the highest bid and then some.”

Your mother looked like she was about to spit fire at him, but the father burst out laughing just as she stood up to retort back. She looked at her husband, enraged. “Why are you laughing at this?!”

After the father wiped away the tears from his eyes and calmed down, he just smiled at Piers. “Dearest, I don’t think anyone would be a better fit for her. Out of our three, she shall never be tamed. Ferocity thrives on boldness, yes?” He waved his hand, dismissing the two of you. “Go, I’ll talk some sense into her.” He sent a wink to you, and the breath you had been holding in broke through, causing you to run away from the situation.

Piers stood, bowed slightly to the dad, and went to find where you were at. He learned from some servants that you had run into the yard, where a bunch of the rose bushes were. He had to admit, it was beautiful, almost sickeningly so. The nice, marble paths leading to a gazebo, the fountains on either side of him, and the well taken care of fences all screamed entitled. He was honestly amazed you even came from here, what with some of the nasty things that your mouth uttered during intense battles and such.

He found you crying in the gazebo, and immediately sidled up next to you and wrapped his arms around you. Like a learned reaction, you melted into his chest, taking the thumping of his heart not a slight bit for granted.

“Wh… why?” you managed to get out.

“Why not?”

“Do you know what she’ll do to make you go away…?”

He rubbed your back and kissed the top of your head. “Don’t know, don’t care.”

You looked up at him, confused.

“I’m in love with you for you, not some dumbass rich kid shit you might have. And lets be real her, if I didn’t fight your mom, you would’ve.” He looked down at you, seeing that finally the tension you had held for so long had been released. He chuckled. “If your mom disowns you, doesn’t that mean I get to freely marry you?”

“PIERS!” Your sobs were instead replaced by you laughing, hiding your blushing face in his chest.

“Just sayin’.”

“You’d need my father’s blessing.”

“Pretty sure I already do.”

“I know. He’ll stay… for now.”

“We’ll see if he wins me over in the future…” Your mother turned and walked back into the large estate, a small smile over her face. Ferocity favors the bold, that much was for certain.
