i can't make this shit up, i found 2 shinies within like 14 hours of each other. my shiny luck has been abysmal for years, i don't know how this happened. say hello to dreamcast the azumarill (caught in scarlet, found in the wild at casseroya lake) and carmen the roselia (caught in shield in a max raid battle)

i will not find another shiny for another year now, i swear to god

Hey Guys!

This is my side blog I will be using to document my Shield Nuzlocke! My main tumblr is @rwbyofmyheart This may have irregular updates because I am in school and so I won’t always have too much time to play.

Rules for my nuzlocke:

You can only catch the first Pokémon encountered per route/wild area region. If it faints, too bad.

All Pokémon must be nicknamed

If a Pokémon faints, it is dead. No bringing it back.

To make things “interesting” (heartbreaking), I will be naming some Pokémon after my friends

I will allow myself ONE rescue. No more than that. (This rescue was already used)

A Pokémon Shield Nuzlocke Adventure

PROLOGUE: The Slumbering Weald

BECKETT: ...

HOP: Aww, c'mon, mate. Don't tell me you're getting cold feet.

BECKETT: I'm not. I just have a bad feeling about this, is all. Sheep are dumb, they get lost all the time.

HOP: Yeah, but this was *Lee's* sheep. It's special.

BECKETT: ...Fine. But if something happens to us, I'm telling the search party it's your fault.

*BECKETT and HOP continue on through the woods, a dark place lined with tall trees and bathed in a thick coating of fog. To think this place was so close to their little village of Postwick...*

*A twig snaps under BECKETT's foot. The young man shudders and holds his bow close to his chest.*

BECKETT: Did you hear that?

HOP: That was you.

BECKETT: Ugh... Dagny's campfire ghost stories are getting to me.

*Squirrels skitter up trees, and birds chatter overhead. BECKETT can feel his hand grip his quiver tighter, but as he looks to HOP, the other man hasn't bothered to draw his sword.*

*The fog rolls in even thicker the further they trek. Their sight worsens, and BECKETT squints through the mist in an attempt to see better.*

BECKETT: Damn it... can't see a thing through all this — Hop?

HOP: ...

BECKETT: Hop, where'd you go?

HOP: ...

*There is no answer from the blue-haired man. Instead, there comes a guttural howl from off in the distance. BECKETT's heart begins to race, and instinctively, he draws his bow taut with an arrow.*

BECKETT: Who's there? Reveal yourself.

*Whatever it was obeys. A haggard figure, obscured by shadows and mist, shambles out of a bush. His hair is long and ragged, bushy, and his armor is dented. His face is mauled beyond recognition, and his nails are caked in mud, practically claws.*

???: The shield... Where is the Dauntless Shield...

*He creeps closer.*

???: WHERE IS IT?

*BECKETT shoots an arrow at the shadowy figure. It phases through, landing on the ground with a light thunk.*

BECKETT: What in the gods' names...

*He shoots another. Sweat drips from his brow as it lands in a nearby bush. The figure shambles forward again, reaching out with its claw...*

*More fog rolls in as BECKETT shoots a third, a fourth, a fifth arrow. None of them hit.*

???: The Weald holds a secret... holds the answer... the shield... I must have it, I must... return to this world...

*The fog then completely obscures BECKETT'S vision, and he feels himself hit the ground...*

.....

???: Beck?

???: ...Beckett?

HOP: Hey, Beck. Wake up, mate.

*The fog has lifted. BECKETT groans and pulls himself up off of the ground, with a bit of assistance from HOP. The other young man looks concerned.*

HOP: Sounds about right. I found Fluff while you were out, by the way! He was wandering into a line of trees, silly thing.

*A sheep trots up to BECKETT and beats happily. The archer reaches down to pet the top of its head, and he smiles as the animal nuzzles into his palm.*

BECKETT: All's well that ends well, I suppose. But... I saw something...

HOP: Oh?

BECKETT: Ah. It's nothing, I guess.

*But a nagging feeling eats at his chest.*

*Just who — or what — was that thing he saw? A person? A monster?*

*...And what was that shield it was talking about?*

Heya! Welcome to my chronicle of a Pokémon Shield Nuzlocke I'm attempting. Episode 22

We didn't have time. People were hurting and needed a path to leave the mines. The ones that were still unharmed were digging, even with their bare hands, while others tried to put everyone else in a safer place.

A little fella saw our struggle and decided to help, and in just seconds managed not only to clear the exit but to make sure that we were free from any other danger. We were saved because of him.

His name was Diego, and after some curry he decided to join in.

I did my first ever Pokémon nuzlocke this month, and I’m happy to say I was successful. With a total of 8 deaths, I gotta admit I was pretty nervous I wouldn’t beat Leon. But I did it. I won.

Dragon challenger update!

So I beat piers!

I have a couple revisions i want to make with my team, but really noivern/dracovish/ shiny garchomp & my ace haxorus are phenomenal.

Really, i want to drop someone for dragapult, and another for gmax Duralidon.. Even though I probably wont use gmax outside of the fight with Raihan.

All in all. My team is stupidly strong. We made it through both the ice and fairy gyms without getting swept. LOL

I may end up being overleveled for the elite 4, but i dont care. I just keep cooking and playing with my team because i am the best dragon trainer in galar. Dont @ me.

I am just waiting to fail my current Sword Nuzlocke, cause let's face it, I wiped to Nessa, but since I only bring the number of Pokemon to a fight that they do, I can keep going with ones in my box. But then I lost 3 of the 5 left to Bede somehow and fuck I just am waiting for the final hammer to drop.

Episode 17

For years the closest I’ve been to them was through live broadcasts of the Gym Challenge, now I have them right in front of me. I’m shaking.

I'll have to defeat all of them in battle, yet I'm not really sure what to expect because in each edition of the Gym Challenge they tend to change their teams. I guess I'll figure it out one by one.
