The first and ONLY Gimmighoul I need 🤩 Thank you sooo much Kurstaki for the lucky trade! Also tyvm to the Pokémon GO community in Costa Rica for organising this pre CD meet-up. They were kind enough to add almost 1 full hour of golden lure modules for us who don’t play Scarlet/Violet. ❤️ you rock!! I was able to almost rack up all 999 coins I need so again, thanks!!! • • • • • • #poké #pokémon #pokemongo #pokemoncostarica #pokemoncr #crpokemon #crpokemongo #entrenadorpokemon #pokemonlatino #pokemonlatam #pokemonargentina #pokemonmexico #ucr #gimmighoul #hundo #luckytrade #pokemonchile #pokemontrade #goldenlure #pokemoncommunity #pokemongocommunity #rarepokemon (at Universidad de Costa Rica) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp-y5xNOrZP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I Made Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Online Battle Link Codes For Competitive Smogon Battles!
Want Smogon Based Competitive Online Link Battles in Game? I'VE MADE LINK CODES FOR IT!
I can't be the only one who is so sick and tired of battling people 6v6 online through Linked Battles, only to find someone is using a broken Pokémon. That, or not using Smogon rulesets. I want SKILL and SUBSTANCE in my opponents. If I lose, I wanna know I lost because I suck and not because some 12 year old used a Palafin or Maushold with King's Rock.
"Why don't you just use Showdown?", you ask, seeing as its 100% better in almost every way from battling opponents online in the game.
Because, I wanna see my babies, that I've patiently force-fed vitamins and mints, battle in the game and with the proper graphics, that's why.
So anyways, I'm proposing those of us who want competitive battling (Smogon rulesets, bans, and whatnot in place) inside SV (in either 6v6 Singles or Doubles) use these LINK CODES:
5306-0200 (OU Tier/General Smogon Battles)
5306-0201 (UU Tier)
5306-0202 (RU/NU Tier)
5306-0203 (PU Tier)
5306-0204 (Little Cup)
5306-0205 (Ubers Tier)
5306-0206 (Anything Goes)
5306-0207 (Monotype)
5306-0208 (NFE Tier)
5306-0209 (1v1)
5306-0210 (3v3 Smogon Rules)
53060211 (VGC Practice)
If you use these link codes, please stick to and honor the current Smogon metagame, rules, clauses, and bans. The numbers are good ones I feel. It's easy to remember. It spells out "Smogon" using numbers (a bit of a stretch I know, but flip some of the numbers on their side. I guess it really says "Smogon-Number Number").
Lemme know if all y'all are down for this, and if so, I'll be ready to battle whomever will take me up on this proposal! This will only work if we as a community agree on it! please, spread this around, and lets get it to be a thing!
See ya on the battlefield!

I have no idea where to post this cuz I’m not in any Pokémon Discords or anything like that so I’ll see if I can get a response here (No problem if I can’t) but is anyone willing to trade me a Jirachi for my shiny celebi? I’ll have to trade from SWSH because that’s where it is (or Home if there’s a way to do that), I have a Jirachi plush cuz it’s one of my favorites and I just wanted him in game lmao, and if your able/want to trade would you be willing to nickname it Sriracha? (Yes I’m aware it’s an odd name buts that’s what the plush is named) if not that’s totally fine I just know your not able to name them once you trade them, it won’t let me name the celebi unfortunately.
Update: I got the Jirachi :D

Scarlet and Violet introduced a new feature: Tera-Raids. They are classified with different amount of stars to symbolize the difficulty to clear the Raid. Some are easy to clear them solo and some require to be cleared with a team. Additionally, if you‘d like to unlock 6-Star and 7-Star Tera-Raids, which are those with the highest difficulty level, you need to play through the complete storyline (all 3 paths have to be finished plus the exploration to Area Zero), you have to have seen the credits, fighting all Gyms once again, participate and win the Academy tournament and clear a bunch of 5-Star Tera-Raids. In short: A ton of work. In general, it is better to have some high IV, EV trained battle ready Pokemon to clear them.
But before we go any further, let us discuss if we should consider them as Events. To be honest, opinions differ here a lot. There are several voices calling 7-Star and some 5-Star Tera-Raids Events, because those Tera Pokemon are catchable just once per save, some are also version exclusives. And additionally, they are only available for a limited time period* and the 7-Star Tera-Pokemon have an additional special mark, the Mighty Mark. That can be counted as Events. But on the other hand they do not create a Wondercard which is why, enough people don‘t count them as Events. R/pokemontrades, my subreddit of trust for trading legit uncloned Events, considers them as non-Events, but some traders over there catch several of each kind, because they believe in an increase of their value.
And if you look around in other communities like X (former Twitter) you‘ll get the idea that it is totally normal to farm these „once per save“ Pokemon. Some weeks ago, my friend Red published this screen record of his Pokemon HOME showing several Titans:
Honestly, it was veeery unattractive for me to collect Mighty Marks at first. The preparations were just too much time consuming for me. I ususally do not complete games several times, I tried it not just once, but failed always. I just can bring myself to play far enough for being able to redeem an Event code. Speaking in time: I need approx half an hour to prepare a save compared to 10+ hours to complete a playthrough.
However, several things happened so that I changed my mind:
The Pokemon, you‘ll use to beat the Raid, won‘t disobey your commands, regardless if you have 0 Gym badges
A friendly soul carried me through some 7-Star Tera-Raids so that I‘ve gotten many L and XL candies, which helped me to prepare a second complete playthrough
I bought a second Nintendo Switch, I can locally host a Raid now
Two Paradox Legends were available again for a limited period, Walking Wake (Paradox form of Suicune) and Iron Leaf (Paradox form of Virizion)
So, I decided to start farming once-per-save Tera-Raid Events and I‘d like to share with you here how I‘m doing this. You‘ll start nearly exactly like I already described here - with only one exception: while running to the first PokeCenter, you need to catch this little guy, Paldean Wooper. He is a static encounter when you pass the little pond.
Tumblr media
After your talk with Nemona at the first PokeCenter, you just run towards Mesagoza.
youtube
Right before the gate of Mesagoza, you will encounter Nemona and battle her again. Choose Paldean Wooper as soon as she sends out Pawmi. Pawmi will only use Thunder Shock, Wooper is immune against electrice moves - it will be a free win for you.
Tumblr media
Go to Mesagoza together with Nemona and head straight to the school.
Tumblr media
On your way, you will encounter Penny and two Grunts of Team Star. Battle them. This is the only point in my opinion, where it is an advantage to choose Quaxly over the other two starters**.
Tumblr media
After you‘ve beaten both Grunts, head over to the school. Now, everything is simply straight. As soon as you are able to walk free again, head over to the Cafeteria, start the Path of Legends by talking with Arven and take the call from Penny Cassiopeia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Afterwards, head to the Staff Room and start the Victory Road. You‘ll be called to the Directors office immediately afterwards.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Head to the Directors office and mash yourself through the talk with him and Professor Turo/Sada. Leave the office afterwards by heading to your own Room. Go to sleep.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As soon as you wake up, an announcement will be played for all to meet at the schools yard. Follow Nemona after the cutscene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Start the Starfall Street and mash yourself through the fight conversation of Nemona, Arven and Cassiopeia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As soon as you are by your own again, your save is ready. If you have purchased the DLC, Jaqc will call you, telling you about Kitakami as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that‘s it! Now, you are able to participate on Tera-Raids. I‘m sending over some Battle Ready Pokemon to this save, host the Tera-Raid and fight the Tera-Pokemon with two Switches.
My fastest run from the very beginning until Tera-Raids took 53 minutes in total, but I‘m working on improvements.
The next 7-Star Tera-Raid is already announced and I have prepared several saves now. I‘m planning to farm candies as well, send me over some high IV lvl 1 Pokemon from breeding and completing a few more playthroughs as well. At least, I‘ll have the chance to „save“ some Tera-Raids as long as I‘m not redeeming/going online with a save. Or at least catch more (version exclusive) legendaries like Miraidon, Koraidon, Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, Iron Boulder, Iron Crown, Gouging Fire, Raging Bolt and Terapagos. And let‘s see what comes next!
*The Event Tera-Raid can be kept alive if you do not go online after its official end.
**You can‘t use Sprigatitos STAB move in the first fight, because Shroodle has the poison type. It is very likely that Fuecoco will be out-speeded. Both results in a little time loss. Obviously, this only matters to you if you‘d like to prepare a save as fast as possible.

Anyone know any places you can find a trade with someone for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
I have a shiny Zwelious that I would like to trade for a Shiny Iron Valiant or just a Miraidon. I tried r/PokemonTrades but that requires trading at least 10 times to offer a shiny or ask for one and having records and links of them. Which...I just don't want to do that.
So yeah- I got a shiny Pseudo-Legendary I'd like to trade. I want a Miraidon for it but I'd take a shiny Iron Valiant for it too. I already have a Shiny Deino so I don't really need this guy and I caught him specifically to trade.
So can someone help me out?

Decided like last week to assemble a national living dex in pokemon home. Spent a couple days rearranging my home boxes to a proper order (instead of the random assortment they had been). I am now 2 days deep into collecting and I have like. 800 or so of the pokemon already. I'm down to the last few dozen. (I already have the living dex for Paldea so in January I'm just transferring that directly into the boxes I have set aside for it).
The problem which I have now reached is that the remaining pokemon I need to collect, I don't have already because they're mostly version exclusives or based on external factors (event mon, require save data from certain games, available only in gens I can't transfer from (looking at you, Pokemon Crystal on my 3ds. You have betrayed me), etc etc).
The end result of this is that I feel as though I've just cruised along a highway at 60 mph and been surprised by a newly built brick wall.
I think I may be spending a while on Dynamax Adventures and r/PokemonTrades in the near future...

1999 Pokemon Trading Card Game Jungle Set List
1999 Pokemon Trading Card Game Jungle Set List
1999 Pokemon Jungle Set History
The Pokemon Jungle set was originally issued in Japan as a 48-card set.  When it was re-released in the United States, non-holographic versions of the cards were also included, which expanded the set to 64 cards. This doubled the number of rare cards in the set. The rarest card in the first edition Jungle set is the “Ivy Pikachu,” which was supposedly included accidentally in the set.  The 1999 Pokémon Jungle 1st Edition series was the first offering to feature holographic rare cards (#1 to #16), as well as a second subseries featuring the same Pokémon in non-holographic form (#17 to #32). This became standard for ensuing English sets.  This set offers four different levels of cards that are sequenced in descending order by rarity. During the production some of the Jungle Holos cards were printed without the jungle symbol. These Holos cards sell for higher than the amount normal jungle Holos cards sell for. All 16 Holos cards from the set have the no symbol error. The Pokemon Jungle Set was released on June 16, 1999. Some cards featured were Pikachu, Gloom, and Victreebel. Unlike base, it had 2 preconstructed decks.  The expansion symbol resembles a Vileplume and it has 64 cards. The 64 cards in the Jungle 1st Edition series boast yellow borders with the Pokémon's name and HP at the top above the artwork. The card backs flaunt the Pokémon name and branding and has blue borders.
1999 Pokemon Jungle Set – Interest and Popularity
The Jungle set has a great vibe because the artwork was done by a lot of different artists. If you had to select a 'Big Three' for the Jungle set, it would probably be Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon because they're Eevee Pokémon. Eevee is a popular, little dog-type Pokémon that can evolve into Flareon, Jolteon, or Vaporeon. Aside from its connection to Eevee, the Flareon single (#3) also boasts what many consider to be the most dazzling and colorful artwork in the set. The Jolteon card (#4) is also highly coveted. This is a powerful Pokémon, pictured against a gold holographic background, that's capable of blasting out 10,000-volt lightning bolts. The Kangaskhan (#5) is one of the toughest holographic cards to track down in PSA 10. The Pikachu single (#60) is one of the most coveted common cards.
1999 Pokemon Trading Card Game Jungle Set - My Story
The Pokemon Trading Card Game hit America and I did not know what it was. I remember seeing the commercials and asking what the heck is a Pokemon? Well, it happened, in the summer of 1999, my oldest daughter came home from her cousins with some Pokemon Cards and wanted me to be her 'Personal Pokemon Advisor'.   And the journey began. I first bought a couple of starter packs and then I started buying Pokemon Card Booster Packs and single cards. I decided that I wanted the complete set. Unfortunately, I was too late for the "1st Edition" of the Pokemon Trading Card Game Base Set. I did complete my set using the "Unlimited" version of the Pokemon Game Base Set. Now, I move to Pokemon Jungle TCG Cards. I had to get the set. These were easier to find and I bought new packs and got addicted to opening the packs. I could not find any 1st Edition Pokemon Jungle booster packs to buy, so I just grabbed all the Unlimited Pokemon Jungle packs and cards I could until I completed the set. All the data above was compiled from the following sources:PSA, Wikipedia, and Bulbapedia.

Do you know if there’s a way that I could get the genesect and others codes that are distributed in some Europe countries? I’ve never had these Pokémon before, and I want them so bad. :,(
Ermm well there’s people that might trade you the codes, you might find someone who will at r/pokemontrades on reddit (it’s probably the best place for it).
Maybe check twitter, sometimes people will give them away, or see if there’s anyone willing to pick up an extra set for ya.
If not they’ll probably be distributed in the US at some point so maybe you’ll get them that way (although if you’re one of the unlucky folk that lives somewhere that doesn’t ever get distributions this is useless for ya).
Hope some of this helps, it really sucks there’s no way of getting them without physically having to go in-store.
Good luck tho!
