Reducing Restrictions: The CDC Has Announced It’s Okay To Die Of The Coronavirus Now
If you’re one of the final holdouts who has remained strict about COVID precautions even as most of the country has done away with masks and social distancing, prepare to breathe a sigh of relief: After almost 3 years of COVID-19 upending our lives, the CDC has announced it is now okay to die of the coronavirus.
Finally, one less restriction to worry about!
CDC director Rochelle Walensky gave a press conference this morning to announce the major change in CDC recommendations, explaining, “Early on in the pandemic, every death from the coronavirus was a tragedy. Thankfully, due to remarkable advancements in being desensitized to widespread sickness and death over the past several years, we have reached the point where dying of the coronavirus has become fine. Similar to dying of the flu or in a car crash—other causes of mostly preventable deaths that we could do more to curb, but don’t because it’s sort of hard and boring—dying of COVID-19 is now completely okay we recommend that Americans begin incorporating passing away from this disease into their daily routines.”
According to CDC’s updated “How to Protect Yourself and Others” page, the CDC still recommends hand washing, getting vaccinated, and increasing ventilation as ways of mitigating COVID risk, but under the subheading “Dying of COVID-19” it now states “COVID-19 is a deadly disease, but dying from it is now fine. Currently, close to 500 people a day are still dying from it, but that’s OK, because it’s not quite as bad as 3,000+ a day, and as long as you don’t do the math of how many that adds up to in a week or a month it doesn’t seem terrible, really.”
This new guidance couldn’t have come at a better time for the thousands of patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19 who are hanging on for dear life, as now they now know that if they do end up succumbing to the disease, it’s perfectly okay. Additionally, the CDC has announced that anyone who has been taking life-altering precautions to avoid COVID-19, including the millions of Americans of an advanced age and those who have preexisting conditions that make them more vulnerable to the disease, now has the official go-ahead to not only contract COVID-19, but to succumb to it.
Yep, it was definitely time for the CDC to take this important step towards returning to normal! This announcement couldn’t have come soon enough!
Of course, some will say the CDC waited far too long to make dying of COVID okay, and others will argue they should have waited until daily deaths were down to like, 150 a day before giving the all-clear to dying of COVID, but after almost 3 years of trying not to die, this is going to be welcome news for the majority of Americans. While the CDC is unlikely to announce that it’s okay to die of monkeypox or polio anytime soon, hopefully we can eventually get there as a nation as well. If you’ve been avoiding dying of COVID, trust in the CDC’s updated guidance and give yourself a break from all that stress and anxiety, get out there, and die from it.

honestly wonder if covid starting to affect children and having visually apparent symptoms like pink eye will compel people to stay home when theyre sick or actually take precautions. one of the only reasons polio was wiped out at first was because children were being disproportionately affected; parents wouldnt let their kids go swimming because they thought it was a waterborne disease, and some kids/teachers wondered whether their classmates would make it through the summer without catching polio and dying before the following school year. so when the vaccine was developed, even though it was incredibly experimental, hundreds of thousands of parents were scrambling to give it to their kids. not that this country seems to give a single shit about its children the way theyre letting them constantly be mass murdered in their underfunded schools but maybe it will culturally come into vogue for parents to care when droves of kids are being hospitalized for "just pink eye". like what is it gonna take at this point for people to care about a virus that has over a 1 in 4 chance of giving you a lifelong disability

Mitch McConnell fell recently at a D.C. airport, before his news conference freeze-up
WASHINGTON — Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell tripped and fell disembarking from a plane at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport this month, two sources familiar with the incident said.
McConnell, 81, was not seriously hurt, and he was seen later that day at the Capitol, where he interacted with at least one reporter.
The fall, which has not been previously reported, occurred July 14 after the flight out of Washington was canceled while everyone was on board. McConnell, R-Ky., who was a passenger, had a “face plant,” someone who was on the plane at the time but did not witness the fall told NBC News. That passenger also said they spoke to another passenger who helped tend to McConnell.
McConnell has also recently been using a wheelchair as a precaution when he navigates crowded airports, said a source familiar with his practices.
McConnell, a polio survivor who has long struggled to navigate stairs and other obstacles, has had a difficult recent history with falls. He sustained a concussion and a cracked rib in a fall in Washington this year, and he spent six weeks away from the Senate. He fractured a shoulder in a fall in Kentucky in 2019, requiring surgery.
McConnell’s nearly 20-second freeze during a news conference Wednesday renewed concerns about his overall health after the concussion.

To the younger people who do not understand, once upon a time in America and elsewhere, total eradication of diseases was the goal of public health programs, and while they did not all succeed and there were definitely fuckups (like the entire early US handling of the AIDS epidemic), that goal was considered sane and just and normal--and the eradication of polio was lauded! Public health programs and science at their best! We got rid of a disease that killed people and destroyed lives and we got rid of it so well that we don't even vax against it anymore.*
And one worldwide pandemic later, as infections and reinfections of a novel virus play absolute havoc with people's bodies and immune systems, FUCKING POLIO suddenly reappears and we are seeing a resurgence of other diseases and people being absolutely flattened by a strange, long flu season?
And people are acting like this is normal? That dropping all safety precautions and expecting people to get 1-2 Covid infections a year is normal and just how things have always been? Instead of fighting it as hard as we could in the first place like what used to be the goal???
There are going to be (and already are) so many longstanding medical conditions from this and that is not even mentioning whatever measles-like bullshit it is doing to immune systems.
And not to be that person but hospital workers are already Done, the system is already exhausted.
*in America
I scream. Keep your fucking masks on. And follow ProjectN95 on Twitter if you want links to good quality masks.

Vaccine Schedule for Infants: Ensuring Strong Immunity from the Start
As parents, we all want to provide the best possible care for our little ones, and a crucial aspect of this care involves safeguarding their health through vaccinations. Paediatric immunology treatment hospitals in Chandigarh offer a comprehensive approach to ensuring your child receives the best paediatric immunology treatment available. Understanding the paediatric vaccination schedule is paramount to fostering a strong immune system from the earliest stages of life.
Why Vaccinations Matter
Vaccinations play a pivotal role in shielding infants from a spectrum of preventable diseases. These early interventions set the foundation for a lifetime of health and well-being. By adhering to the recommended paediatric vaccination schedule, you are providing your child with a shield of protection against diseases that could otherwise pose serious threats.
Navigating the Paediatric Vaccination Schedule
The paediatric vaccination schedule is meticulously designed to maximize the immune response during critical developmental stages. It involves a series of carefully timed vaccinations, each targeting specific diseases. These vaccinations are strategically spaced to ensure optimal effectiveness while considering the infant’s immune system development.
In Chandigarh, a city known for its exceptional medical care, paediatric immunology treatment hospitals stand out as beacons of expertise and compassion. These institutions follow the latest medical advancements and guidelines to offer the best paediatric immunology treatment possible.
The Journey Begins: Birth to 2 Months
The first few months of a baby’s life are crucial for establishing immunity. The paediatric vaccination schedule commences shortly after birth, typically within the first 24 hours. Vaccines such as BCG Hepatitis B are administered to offer early protection against Tuberculosis and liver infections.
At six weeks, the second round of vaccinations takes place, reinforcing the immune system’s defense. Infants receive vaccines targeting diseases like Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DTaP), Hepatitis- B, Haemophilus Influenzae Type B, Polio (DTap+ H1b+ HBV + IPV), Pneumococcal & Rotavirus Infections. This initial stage sets the stage for a robust immunological foundation.
Building Resilience: 2 to 4 Months
As your infant’s journey of growth continues, the paediatric vaccination schedule unfolds with a focus on strengthening immunity further. The vaccines administered during this stage include two additional doses for DTaP, Hib, Polio, and vaccines against Pneumococcal disease and Rotavirus. These precautions are integral to ensuring comprehensive protection against potentially harmful pathogens.
Expanding the Shield: 6 to 12 Months
Between six and twelve months, the paediatric vaccination schedule expands to cover more ground in the fight against preventable diseases. Vaccines for Typhoid, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), and Hepatitis A are introduced, broadening the scope of immunity. These additions provide a strong defense against a wider range of potential health risks.
Completing the Core: 12 to 18 Months
As your child approaches the one-year mark, the paediatric vaccination schedule culminates in administering the final doses of certain vaccines. Boosters for DTaP- H1b- IPV, Pneumococcal, MMR are given, along with vaccine for Varicella (Chickenpox). By this stage, your infant’s immune system has undergone significant development, and these vaccines serve as a comprehensive shield against multiple diseases.
Staying on Course: Toddler Years
By 18th month of age, the essential vaccinations are over. One optimal vaccine which is highly recommended is annual Flu vaccine which protects against viral infections as the child starts going to school.
Embracing Pre-School: 4 to 6 Years
As your child embarks on the pre-school years, the paediatric vaccination schedule undergoes a final expansion. Boosters for DTaP, Polio, and MMR are administered, ensuring that your child’s immune system remains vigilant and robust. These vaccinations are essential in safeguarding your child’s health as they venture into new social and educational environments.
Vaccination at 10 year of age
The last vaccine of pediatric age group are given at 10 years of age when a booster of Tdap is given along with the very important vaccine of HPV which is also called cancer prevention vaccine as it protects the children, especially girls, against genital cancers.
The Continuum of Care
The paediatric vaccination schedule is a testament to medical science’s commitment to nurturing healthy generations. It’s a collaborative effort between dedicated parents and esteemed medical professionals. In Chandigarh, renowned paediatric immunology treatment hospitals guide parents through this journey, offering expertise, empathy, and the best paediatric immunology treatment available.
In conclusion, adhering to the paediatric vaccination schedule is a powerful investment in your child’s well-being. By partnering with top-tier paediatric immunology treatment hospitals in Chandigarh, you are ensuring that your child’s immune system is fortified to tackle the challenges of life with strength and resilience. Remember, these vaccinations are not just shots; they are shields that empower your child to embrace a future filled with health and vitality.

with the ventilator is done by critical care nurses. Noninvasive methods, such as Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and Non-invasive ventilation, which are adequate for patients who require a ventilator only while sleeping and resting, mainly employ a nasal mask. Invasive methods require intubation, which for long-term ventilator dependence will normally be a tracheotomy cannula, as this is much more comfortable and practical for long-term care than is larynx or nasal intubation. Because failure may result in death, mechanical ventilation systems are classified as a life-critical system, and precautions must be taken to ensure that they are highly reliable, including their power-supply. John Haven Emerson developed a mechanical assister for anesthesia with the cooperation of the anesthesia department at Harvard University. Mechanical ventilators began to be used increasingly in anesthesia and intensive care during the 1950s. Their development was stimulated both by the need to treat polio patients and the increasing use of muscle relaxants during anesthesia. Relaxant drugs`

The Importance of Vaccinations When Travelling
It is quite likely that you spend considerable amounts of time planning your yearly holidays.
it is important to remember that there are quite a number of holiday risks: your flights could be unexpectedly delayed; you might require medical attention after a nasty fall; there may even be a chance of contracting serious diseases. If you were worried about such scenarios (and you should be), it would be worth investing in single trip travel insurance and following the advice in this article.
Planning Ahead
It is worth pointing out there is some variation in the types of vaccinations required before travelling to different countries. It is possible to obtain information from specialist medical websites, however you should visit your local doctor for further clarification regarding the necessary ones. This visit should be made at the earliest possible opportunity, as the medical practitioners may have to arrange a course of immunisation. Your single trip travel insurance provider may reject claims if you haven't taken the advised precautions.
Different Kinds Of Inoculations
There are three kinds of vaccinations required by those travelling abroad. The routine immunizations are given as a means of protection against common diseases such as measles and rubella, and doctors may recommend others depending upon the countries visited. People planning trips to India are advised to take precautions against hepatitis A and polio, while rabies shots are recommended to those planning trips to Thailand. Others may be required before travellers are allowed to enter some foreign countries; for instance, it is necessary to provide proof of yellow fever inoculation before entering Anguilla and Angola. Travellers may also take tablets and other medical provisions to reduce the chances of having to make single trip travel insurance claims against the costs of medical care.
Serious Travel Risks
Those who have scheduled trips to the more developed countries may mistakenly believe that immunizations aren't required. However, it is worth pointing out that there is a chance of contracting influenza and tick borne encephalitis in certain parts of Scandinavia, for example. People travelling to the UK or America for the first time may also be surprised by the need. Of course, the risks are far greater in the developing countries of Latin America, Africa and the Middle East and it is also worth noting that the levels of medical provision are fairly poor in these regions - travelers may even have to be airlifted to quality medical establishments in other parts of the world.

What kind of wing-nut fails to get a polio vaccination?
How about tetanus?
Not getting a shot because there’s *something* in a medical vaccine created in a sterile lab?
*Something* WORSE than the 1,700 carcinogens and poisons in US food and grooming products but which are illegal in the EU?
WORSE than the lead pipes STILL supplying water to 22 million US residents?
WORSE than the smog of pre-catalytic converter US car exhausts or the fog of cigarette smoke we used to stumble through?
Ye gods! Just this week Polio, Monkeypox, mutating Covid, Legionaires’ disease, West Nile virus…did I miss anything?
Failure to take basic precautions.
That would be like the military setting up burn pits adjacent to where the troops slept. Or the residents of the Surfside Tower co-op failing to address the burgeoning structural cracks and concern of the structural engineers.
Or the Trump Administration letting 20 million doses of the Monkeypox vaccine disappear, go bad, or whatever. Or the same administration gutting the FDA and then look blank when there is a bacteria outbreak in the one plant making half the baby formula in the US.
Stupidity permeates our dysfunctional dystopia.

Infection And Immunity Journal Homepage
Each infectious exposure leads to training of the cells so that a response to a second publicity to the identical infection is extra rapid and larger in magnitude. We have seen that the restrictions needed over time have varied as preventive measures have labored to drive an infection rates down, but we have additionally seen these rates resurge as our responses have relaxed. [newline]Once we get sufficient individuals vaccinated to drive down an infection rates more persistently, we must always be able to steadily lift these restrictions. But till the vaccine is extensively distributed and a large majority of the population is vaccinated, there'll still be a danger of infection and outbreaks—and we will need to take some precautions. In the treatise, Al Razi describes the clinical presentation of smallpox and measles and goes on to point that publicity to these particular agents confers lasting immunity . Passive immunity is supplied when a person is given antibodies to a disease rather than producing them through his or her personal immune system. Vaccine-induced immunity is acquired through the introduction of a killed or weakened form of the disease organism by way of vaccination. “The drawback with coronavirus is that no-one has had it earlier than, regardless of age,” says Gostic of the University of Chicago. It’s nearly as if hen pox had simply emerged for the primary time, leaving adults extra vulnerable to the more severe cases that come with age, she explains. Demonstrating whether or not an herb — or any substance, for that matter — can improve immunity is, as yet, a highly sophisticated matter. Scientists do not know, for instance, whether an herb that appears to boost the levels of antibodies within the blood is definitely doing anything beneficial for total immunity. Like any fighting drive, the immune system military marches on its abdomen. Scientists have lengthy recognized that individuals who reside in poverty and are malnourished are extra weak to infectious ailments. For instance, researchers don't know whether or not any particular dietary factors, corresponding to processed meals or excessive easy sugar consumption, will have adversely have an effect on immune operate. There are nonetheless relatively few research of the effects of diet on the immune system of people. A easy RNA molecule jumpstarts the immune system’s “first responders” to viral an infection and may even eradicate the SARS-CoV-2 virus in mice with persistent cases of COVID-19, a model new Yale School of Medicine research finds. Childhood illnesses such as measles, mumps, diphtheria, polio, chickenpox, and so on., all reached herd immunity by way of this strategy. We have seen measles outbreaks in communities who have misplaced herd immunity due to anti-vaccine actions. Tonicgreens Review imagine vital info must be seen by the folks impacted, whether or not it’s a public health crisis, investigative reporting or maintaining lawmakers accountable.
