Bertha Margaret Boye (American, 1883–1931) • The original 1911 poster that won 1st prize in the contest sponsored by San Francisco's College Equal Suffrage League. The design was printed on flyers, cardss, and stamps, the imagine was plastered on California storefronts for an entire week in 1911. It was one of the movement's most popular images.

Here is the same image resurrected in a 2020 poster advertising the 53rd California International Antiquarian Book Fair.

Cover illustration for POLITICO Europe: „Can TikTok’s cash shield it from the endgame?“

In March, a ban of tech giant TikTok was discussed in the US government. For the cover of this issue, I wanted to highlight the limits of lobbying: three layers of money protect the smartphone/TikTok at the base. All of the bank notes have started to burn. While the dollars on top are highly affected, the Euro bill has not caught as much fire yet.

Will Crawford (American, 1869–1944)

Masterful ink artist. Career began working for the Newark newspaper "Call"; he went on to draw for magazines where he proved his excellence in humor as well as a capability for dramatic action. Illustrated for Life, Redbook, Century, Everybody's Magazine, Puck, Collier's, McClure's, Scribner's, Leslie's. Contributed to a number of books, often with a historical or Western theme (he was a friend of Charles Russell who admired Crawfords line work), among them: Paul Bunyan and His Blue Ox, The Romance of Rosy Ridge, Pigs is Pigs, The Opening of the West, History of America, The Story of Colorado, The Great American Pie Company, Skunny Wundy and Other Indian Tales, Woven with the Ship.

Glasses Machine Broke.

I am legally blind and my prescription is extremely expensive. I have to use glasses to drive and work. My lenses are thick and it costs extra to thin them out. Diabetes took my eyesight. Even if I was to raise this money today it would take a week to get them. So please be mindful this is an urgent request.
