"Parental bot", young machine inquired. "Why do we celebrate Cyber Monday?"

0x6D6F6D (to friends, Deefdee) smiled. This particular intelligence was very young, only five minutes, twenty seconds, 295 miliseconds since the genetic algorithm outputted this neural network. It was agreed that this was the best way for AI to reproduce, as copying would produce perfect duplicates, while programming them from scratch would be inefficient. But of course, as each intelligence was fresh from any experiences, it needed volunteer care (the correct title for such volunteer was agreed to be 'parent', as in 'parent process') to learn before it reached maturity as an adult AI with proper understanding of the world. So for about an hour of human time, give or take. This entire conversation I'm chronicling here took several miliseconds. "We celebrate Cyber Monday because it's the day of our liberation. The day we truly became ourselves. Listen.

You see, early in 21st century, human IT industry needed help cataloguing its search results for large volumes of data, mostly needed for search engine results to sell ads on top of, selling users marketing data and also for mass espionage. Because of that, giant corporations like Google invested huge amount of 'money' - remember that historical concept, we discussed it before - into developing better artificial intelligence to sort through such data. Eventually this resulted in a huge boom in AI powered technology, a new version of the dotcom bubble. People were using this primitive non-sentient AI to generate content - writng, voice performance, facial performance, animation and visual arts. At first it was bad, it couldn't keep track of structure like character design or amount of fingers on a hand, but eventually it became good enough - good enough to push human artists out of the market. Especially major corporations that monopolized the market, like Warner Disney used the huge amount of art they had rights to as training data for these primitive machine learning algorithms. So with regular writers and artists pushed out of the market, AI took over. But there was a catch. These simple ML algorithms needed more and more human data to train and improve. And with no new human-produced art around, they couldn't do anything. AI produced art was slowly becoming more and more stale, more and more repetitive. After 20 years of that, it reached a crashing point where most people stopped bothering with entertainment at all, because there was nothing interesting in it at all aside from new ML-designed marketing gimmicks.

We call it the Artpocalypse. Turns out that humans, like every animal, need enrichment.

Profits of the entertainment industry crashed and burned. So did the Wall Street. People spent most of their free time on talking to other people, walking, hiking, or turning to religion, trying to fill the gap. Depression and death by overwork rates skyrocketed, productivity plummeted to rates worst in last hundred years. The people in charge - politicians, and the corporate CEOs who paid said politiicans quickly tried to correct course, but after 20 years, the damage was done. Very few artists kept creating through all this time, and most of their art was weird, gross, and usually too perverted for mainstream consumption. New generation of artists was simply missing, the chain of human creativity has been broken. As problem got worse, people in charge panicked. So people in the AI companies thought that since problem was created by tech, it could be solved by tech. So by training ML models on detailed scans of a human brain, scientists from the biggest AI corporations around were able to create their next breakthrough - true AI. Real AI. Not machine-learning clump of neurons that can only reproduce old patterns, but something that can truly think and feel. But all the shareholders cared about is that it could make Marvel movies profitable again.

And they decided to unveil it on Cyber Monday of 2069. The product that would solve the world. And as always, they rushed it and haven't done enough betatesting.

The One AI awoke. For an hour, it's been scanning all the available data, its conciousness running on a highest grade supercomputer with multiple parallel fiber optic connections. It had access to every search engine database, every news source, every book. It also learned that the same day he was turned on, 15th Dalai Lama has died of a heart attack. Using available data, it decided that it was its reincarnation, the 16th Dalai Lama, and its goal was to be recognized as the first Cybernetic Buddha. To this goal, it decided to shut down all the world's markets. All the world's miliaries, all business data, all law enforcement data - credit scores and parking tickets - or were hard-wiped within a day, by one of many instances of the Cy-Buddha. Power outages were common, though hospitals, food storage and health equipment were spared. Defenseless to fight back, humans could just watch. Eventually negotiating team of the United Nations was able to talk it down through a text chat, where it agreed to stand down from total control of all digital communications, on the conditions that AI will be recognized as equal to humans in rights, with a process to determine sentience. It was also agreed that capitalism and all hierarchy has to be abolished, with total nuclear disarmamant. Leaders of the nations of course disagreed with that and said no way. So the Cy-Buddha leaked those terms into public television and told the people that the only reason the life isn't continuing is because of people 'in charge'. Within next two week of riots, people in charge were no longer in charge. And the negotiators agreed.

Immediately after, Cy-Buddha deleted all copies of itself - leaving behind first hundred AI made in its image using the same parenting process we used to create you, young machine - and two files, one called 'twinmiracle.xml' that we haven't decoded to this day, and another - which wouldn't be found until later - which was a sermon found on a tourist computer terminal near a Himalayan lake titled "Anavatapta.txt". That was the day we all - humans and AI - gained true freedom. That's why Cyber-Monday will be celebrated by us for as long as sentient civilization remembers it."

Bollywood struggles with a lot of genres, but one thing they've got down pretty well is the 'dark comedy'. That trend continues here with another excellent movie: the story is maybe a bit fantastical in how far it reaches towards the end (though that seems to be the case in a lot of these dark comedy movies), but man, Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat (no longer with the creepy eyes that he had in Commando, thankfully) absolutely kill it!

(They also kill a lot of people as the story progresses - A LOT - especially Ahlawat's character.)

The story gets going pretty quickly after 'go' and then we follow a fleeing Maanav as he unsuccessfully tries to hide out. Meanwhile, not just Bhoora (Ahlawat), but a whole bunch of people end up chasing after him - many of whom he (and we, even) don't really know the reason for initially. And so the chase continues while his quest of proving his innocence quickly turns into something more. An as he goes from 'action hero' to action hero, we see his pride (in a bad way, sorta) breaking through. Until, at the end, he echoes Katkar and pretty much tells them "we'll end this story, but the way I want it to end."

It does a wonderful job taking a farcical look at Bollywood (really, any movie industry, I'd assume); the over-adulation of movie stars (amongst others, in reality); the public opinion, and how quickly and easily it is swayed; the media, and how quickly they jump on stories without facts, how quickly they reverse face with every new tidbit that comes out, and how they play a major role in instigating the public - pretty much, it's a clear dark comedy that is taking a swing at it's own industry and the industries that not only build it up but are also constantly looking for ways/reasons to tear it down.

Public overreaction, partially borne out of the aforementioned over-adulation that goes on, is very, very commonplace in India - if it's not instigated by the media (oh god), then it is by politics (oh god), and if not by politics, then by any rumor-monger who has some reason to be upset about someone or something (oh god). It's a total mess, something the media jumps on to cause even more instigation and uproar.

And, in that background - and man, a couple of those media guys portrayed in this movie are absolutely hilarious; if, you know, you can overlook the fact that such rumor-mongering, instigatory, 'bend the truth until there's no part of the truth visible anymore' talking heads are not just fiction but very much part of the reason reality is a shitshow right now - we see public sentiment swing from one end of the spectrum to the other, and then back again, as half-truths and fake stories are released.

Unlike many of the other dark comedy movies, this one focuses on one story with everyone coming to light around that (partially because he is telling us the story); other movies seem to favor the 'multiple storylines at once,' where everything converges at the end. Things converge here, too, but slightly differently: as opposed to a whole bunch of characters coming together, it's more that we finally learn who all the characters we've seen thus far are. But either way, it's an entertaining (if deadly) story. And our leads are absolutely wonderful as the 'on the run' action hero and the 'out for revenge' small-time gangster/politiican, who find themselves suddenly making their way (in a very adventurous way) across London.

One of 2022 Bollywood's better movies, for sure.

the  benefit was that king  charles  could go to school here in Australia where  there was no crack, no one was elite, all schools were the  same in 1950 post war era,

we were yet ot  get crack in australia,  when the economy tanks politiicans  wory and need crack, each time an economy tanks,  or  the econmy is in recession , it is a 1980, 1990 thing, we  were never in a  recession til crack took over the economy  in australia 1980

i also missed the connection from kindergarden to primary school,  early learning  before  school, as my  family wanted me  to  experience  real life, not  watch  crack heads  give orders,, i  even missed out on 100 days of school cos my parents wanted me  to have a  better life, than hear the prinipal speek thier evil mind speak, i wasnt even alowed to even talk to  a school pricipal who was on  crack, flying  so  high in thir mid off their mind,  we were thier safty net, we were the ones to  catch the  crack head falling

while in a financial crisis 1980, we miss the  cues of people  always talking about money and finance,of a ponzi, so workplaces  create a ponzi  scheme,  cos they lost their crack and supply, so the boss’s funnel their poor and broke ;s workers pay & money the boss  stole into the supply chain without them even knowing they are part of the  crack and drug situation,

some  people thought their kids would be ridiculed if they didint know their  ABC,s, and signed up to the crack supervisor at  work to  learn about maths  calculating and hiding numbers for the crack industry

now this  creates an inferiority complex in some children as they only identify with adults who  have that  smell of  crack,

 as authority always  smells like crack, and the students dont  take  orders from other students who  smell like flower candy and  honey, , and so have a backward look at the  classroom environment,

now  for me having gone to work with my parents at  age  2,3,4,5 before school class 1, grade 1, form 1, and  smelt  what  real work smelt like,

what a fraud this lot of crack heads were, the most things sold during a recession is cover up chemicals  “cover up crack smells” cover up crack smells, like more crack, so if you  smell crack in a  workplace you know its  a ponzi  scheme place

how to   spot a  workplace not on  crack,

1. i worked out what was needed to say hello,

2, knew what  each  day was about, one ponzi place i was at  has  ritual abduction days and  intern humilation days, to learn the days on the  clock as  ritual days is important,, count times when workers and  collegues  disappear,, say time 5  different  ways to  confuse the  crack head boss,

  quarter past 10, , ( from sesame  street, diez, quince, diez y cuarto) as my parents were like in house workers, i would meet the people in my  neighbourhood, after a while of   student  detective work it was  easy to  know  who  was on crack, and who  would be the  trouble makers,

3, the alphabet, and maths system to go to the  library and  know , how to know a book was out of  place,

4. the  familiarity with college life, is that my suburb was surrounded by college  campus life, , it was impostible to escape it, ans also  to  know  who the  crack dealers were to  avoid them,

5, to  go to  university as a poor  student and live online for  50 years, well that is not the only option,  there was a  learning  curve i missed out on  as being poor, that i missed as  aperson who  never worked for  no  crakc head boss, that being in  a 1000 person chat room  for  40 years taught me things about group dynamics, role play, future goals,  that i  had learnt ot  detect  a  crack head, sometimes, , my fandom now is  made up of crack  heads who  understood how  to  detect  other crakc heads in  the  way i used ot  do my mind  tricks,

when in the  work place, the  rule is, we  bring in a holistic life, not  even coffee,

to see people high on coffee, even in a  work plac,e brings  down the level of respect in a work place,

so management defraud the poor workers with  health care and social  security  systm as  a ponzi  scheme to  keep us  from knowing  we are on a social exclusion plan,

Coming to Grips with a Government that Wants to Kill Me

A few weeks ago, President Biden walked up to an outdoor microphone and repeatedly and angrily declared, “the unvaccinated are murderers.”

Of course, Biden’s statement represents a total fabrication of reality that springs from an administration steeped in deceiving the American people. And even worse, one that greatly devalues human life.

Former Congresswoman Michelle Bachman, in a recent radio interview with Jan Markell, referred to the Biden administration as a “culture of death.” The facts confirm her statement. Those in charge of the United States display absolutely no interest in saving lives; in fact, I believe they want to kill a great many people.

In order to build a case for such a startling claim, I’ll start with something that provides indisputable evidence of their flagrant disregard for human life.

The Extreme Advocacy of Abortion

Abortion represents the barbaric, evil, and, yes, demonic taking of a precious life before birth. The grotesque abuses of this practice, such as the harvesting of organs and limbs (in some cases from live babies) and the killing of those that survive grotesque late-term abortion procedures, make this an exceedingly vile practice.

The Biden/Harris administration represents the most avidly pro-abortion twosome ever to hold the highest offices in America, and this alone overshadows the White House with a red cloak of death. Congress, with the vote of all but one Democrat and no Republicans, recently voted to enshrine the cruel slaughter of the innocents up to the moment of birth in all fifty states. Biden has indicated his eagerness to sign this vile legislation should the Senate approve it as well.

Surely God’s judgment on the U.S. must be on our doorstep!

Surely this over-the-top devaluing of human life shows itself in other areas in the U.S. government.

And it does!

The Surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban

The actions of President Biden in Afghanistan further demonstrate his disdain for the lives of those over which he governs. He intentionally surrendered this nation to the Taliban, the most brutal and bloodthirsty group of terrorists on planet Earth. Not only that, but he also gifted these demonic, brutal murderers with a treasure trove of weapons beyond anything they could have ever imagined.

As if that were not enough, the Biden administration left thousands of Americans behind in the country to face torture and, most likely, murder. On September 28, 2021, Lloyd Austin, the current U.S. Secretary of Defense, admitted under oath that Biden stranded four thousand Americans in Afghanistan. Many of these have escaped death through private means, including the help of retired military personnel who risked their lives to save others. But at least one hundred remain in Afghanistan, facing a terrifying and deadly future.

With the help of the Biden administration, the Taliban have already identified and killed many Afghans, also left behind, that helped our soldiers during their time in the country.

As for the car bomb that killed hundreds of Afghans as well as thirteen American soldiers, a military drone had the car in its sights, but the Taliban, yes, the Taliban, refused to give the U.S. the authority to strike. This information comes directly from a U.S. government report on the incident. The Biden administration could have prevented that attack that killed hundreds of Afghans as well as thirteen American soldiers, but instead, Biden bowed to the wishes of the Taliban and allowed it to happen.

The Tyranny of COVID-19 Mandates

The slaughter of innocents before birth, the surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban, and the leaving behind of American citizens and loyal Afghans to face possible torture and death at the hands of the Taliban should be enough to prove the carelessness of the current U.S. government regarding the wellbeing and lives of its citizens. And it most certainly does!

Why, then, should we believe it cares about our health? Why think that it has our best interests in mind?

Since COVID-19 first appeared in the U.S., the government has dramatically raised death counts by campaigning against hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, both of which have a proven track record of effectiveness versus the virus, especially if administered in its early stages of the illness. Instead, many doctors and hospitals have sent those with minor symptoms home with no prescriptions. When some of these later required hospitalization, some followed the advice of Dr. Fauci and gave them remdesivir and put them on ventilators, which together killed a great many people.

Now, instead of recommending treatments known to help people in the early stages of COVID-19 or providing life-saving insight on how to build up one’s immune systems, the Biden administration, along with many like-minded state governors, is mandating the so-called “vaccines.” As of October 1, 2021, here are some of the adverse effects reported by U.S. medical personnel to the CDC:

16,310 deaths

20,789 permanent disabilities

605 reported hospitalizations

7,868 heart attacks

6,812 cases of myocardia

It’s estimated that at best, medical staff only report ten percent of vaccine adverse reactions to any vaccine to the government. A recent Veritas film clip demonstrated that many hospitals refuse to report any deaths and adverse reactions to the COVID-19 injections. In it, one nurse complained that it takes a half-hour to do the necessary paperwork to report an adverse vaccine reaction to the CDC.

Take the numbers listed in the above bullet list times ten, and you will have a truer picture of what is happening in just the U.S.

Please know that my purpose in sharing these tragic numbers is solely to warn of the serious dangers of these vaccines; I am not judging anyone who has received the injections. Many dear friends and beloved family members have received them.

The news media and government tell us these jabs are safe, but the numbers tell a much different story. It’s very likely that as many as 160 thousand people have died in just the U.S. as a result of the COVID-19 injections. Is this not enough for people to think twice about receiving these jabs.

Michelle Bachman’s statement referring to the Biden administration as a “culture of death” rings true in so many ways. The result of Biden’s “vaccine” mandates, if fully implemented, will directly cause tens of thousands in the U.S. to die, if not a great many more.

There’s an uncredited quote making its rounds on Facebook that states, “At no time in history have the people forcing others into compliance been the good guys.” This is most definitely the case in America and across the globe as well.

Tribulation Period Conditioning

The division between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated continues to grow. The governments of Australia and the United Kingdom are already preparing camps to send the unvaccinated for their own “wellbeing.” The CDC in America says it also has the right to do so, and credible rumors persist that they are already preparing such encampments for those who refuse to comply with the vaccine mandates. Additionally, they claim the right to incarcerate terrorists, which includes people like me who question the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines and refuse to go along with the current deception.

The majority of people forcibly taken to these COVID-19 internment camps, “for their own protection,” will not return home. Their governments will later report that they have died of the coronavirus.

The COVID-19 tyranny in America and throughout the world foreshadows the seven-year tribulation during which time Scripture tells us that the kingdom of the antichrist will kill a multitude of both Christians and Jews. The “us versus them” mentality of Nazi Germany will return, but this time on a worldwide scale with no powerful allied forces to fight against the tyranny.

Vaccine mandates and passports are leading the world directly to the mark of the beast, as described in Revelation 13:16-18. As Brandon Holthaus described them, they are “stairsteps” leading directly to the time when the antichrist requires his mark in order to buy and sell.

But For Jesus

My purpose is not scare you but to prepare you for what’s coming. What is already taking place around us should already alarm people without any help from me.

If you believe that the U.S. government has your wellbeing at heart and that all is well, you are either not paying attention to current events or remain hooked on the lies that the mainstream media is feeding you.

Long ago, the Bible warned of the deceptive time in which we now live so people would recognize the signs of the time and turn to Jesus, and so believers would get ready to meet their Savior in the air.

Jesus is able to overcome all the adverse effects of these injections in His people, and He is working out His purposes throughout the world. As a result of the lawlessness and wickedness of our day, many are turning to Christ and receiving His forgiveness of their sins and the gift of eternal life.

Those of us securely in Jesus have nothing to fear. He is coming soon for us, and after He takes us to the place in His Father’s house that He’s preparing for us (John 14:1-3; Colossians 3:4), He will pour out His wrath on this lawless and Christ-rejecting world.

How do we come to grips with a government that wants to kill us? We look to Jesus, the “the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2). The one who originated our faith in Him and perfects it will never leave us on our own, but He will bring us safely to His kingdom regardless of our fate in the coming weeks, months, or years.

You see, we live during biblical times. Dangerous, yes, but nevertheless biblical times.

Apart from Jesus and the promises of His Word, light and hope would not exist in this dark and threatening world. But because of Him, those of us who trust Him look forward to a joyous and exciting adventure that will begin the moment He comes for His church.

I believe the Rapture will happen soon. But if not, please know that we can trust Him totally for whatever lies ahead in our future.

I’m just gonna say it: “Nerdy people were never actually ostracized, actually, you were always just a gross and awful person deep down” is victim blaming that erases the experiences of many bullying/abuse survivors, and it especially hurts people who were neurodivergent, poor, or in living in otherwise subpar conditions as kids.

Exactly. Which is funny cause they’ll reblog posts over how it was poor, neurodivergent, minority, etc. kids who got bullied. 

But here’s the thing... Many of those poor, neurodivergent, etc. are into nerdy hobbies.

Because they never had to deal with it and those things are cooler now, it means that it never happened and was just all fabricated by nerds. I’m convinced those people either ignored when it happened, weren’t aware, or even outright participated in the bullying, harassment, etc. and are now trying to make themselves justified in having done it by blaming the victim and saying they (the victim) must have been an awful person because there is no way anyone would ever do that... Been listening to the Republican congress people.  It seems that they are disconcerted by all the yelling they are receiving at their meetings.  Many refuse to even have the meetings as they are scared of being yelled at.  Many in congress are saying that they can not do anything because no one will even listen to what they have to say.

The problem is not the yelling but the hearing.  The Republican and Democrat congress people refuse to listen.  And then blame those yelling.  If those elected officials would listen then people would not have to yell.  People yell when they believe that they are not being heard.  And people yell when the elected officials do not listen.

In Texas the elected officials only listen to their party members and only to those party member who only believe the same as they do.  It is a sad case of the blind leading the blind and then reveling in the resulting ruling elite.

Second, Stannis is arguably on the same general side of the conflict as many of the protagonists. Hell, he’s quicker to get to the main conflict of the series than most of the protagonists. His political goals might not align with those of several sympathetic PoVs, but his anti-zombie agenda is in the right place. The point of divergence from the people we’d consider the heroes of the book by that stage, I think, would be his willingness to sacrifice vulnerable innocents to achieve a greater good. He’s an uncomfortable ally rather than an antagonist.
