INTERTWINED SERIES (Spidermen!ENHA) Preview

SYNOPSIS: After being dead for two minutes and then brought back to life thanks to your coworker you start to get these weird visions of future events just minutes before they happen. During a train ride you witness the murder of three teenage boys in broad daylight and then suddenly the next second they're sitting back down in their seats, alive and breathing. Despite the want you have to keep your peace and leave it alone, you can't help but get a very bad feeling and it only intensifies when you recognize the man that murdered them in your vision three train carts away and walking in your guys' direction. Shoving the three boys off of the train, saving their lives, risking your own, and being accused of kidnapping was not on your bucket list after surviving death. You don't have any clue what is going on or what in the hell you're gonna do to help these three boys but thankfully the four of you bump into some help along the way.

Kvothe is ambisextrous (bisexual) but he hasn't realized yet, an essay:

Okey, so this is my delulu shit and you can go with me or against me I don't care. Here we go:

Disclaimer: The author is totally cool with that idea so don't think that it couldn't be canon, because it COULD.

First, HAVE WE SEEN HOW OUR BOY TALKS ABOUT SIMMON?! Like dude, you have a gigantic crush on your mate, we get it. The only time the word "I love you" is written in the whole books is directed to Simmon from Kvothe. He says that they argue like newlyweds. When Simmon is reading that poem Kvothe makes the point to describe how handsome is Simmon. When he returns to Imre Simmon says that he is dating Fela, Kvothe makes a monologue on how Sim is the perfect boyfriend and he is just a turd (this boy as zero self esteem at his core)

Second, at the begining of the second book, at his first encounter with Denna, he gets jealous because that gentleman is really hot and has a lovely voice and it's totally unfair (we get it kid)

Third, all that bit pre-adem with Tempi, that boy got a crush on Kvothe and there are so many scenes when it could be turned out as a slow romance lol (they would be so cute as a couple)

And last, we get to his relationship with Bast. Patrick himself has joked multiple times that they are couple, or at least that Bast has a MASSIVE crush on our innkeper lol. So Kote and Bast own together the Inn, what two other men have an Inn? Exactly, Deoch and Stanchion who are a polyamorous couple and is where we discover the word "ambisextrous" that casually Kvothe knows and no one else among his friends (has he looked it up on the Archives? I totally can see our young Kvothe searching more info about his feelings)

Getting back with Bast, he is a Fae, a pansexual satyr nonetheless (pun intended), their chemistry doesn't go unnoticed among readers, specially the tenderness (that scene with Bast singing a lullaby to a wounded Kote), care (how he stitches him up and swapes his injuries althought Kote says that it's not necessary) and how he talks to him and about him to Chronicler (that bone chilling oath he makes towards his master).

At his own Kote sees Bast as someone a bit immature and who is like a child, I don't see quite romance on his side but who knows, he treats him with a lot of respect and care to not hurt his feelings.

Finally, my take is that Kvothe may not be as straight as he portrays himself to be and I'm desperate to read more fics with that in mind.

५ I see their showing affection to you is different, like jakey clingy ofc, kisses!! everywhere !! he loves kisses. give him lots of them. satisfy him. jay loves to be the little spoon ( BUT NOBODY NEEDS TO KNOW IT … ) pls when he is sad let him be the spoon, and you hold him tight.

५ I CAN SEE THIS TWO BOYS fighting to give you their clothes, then LITERALLY take turns exchanging things.

५ they love how you dress and would be delighted to do matching outfits. so no one looks at you too much, i can see them be a little bit possessive if someone hits on you in front of them, they would show off their chest muscles showing off big and immediately take you close to them ( jakey arm around the neck - jay arm possessive around the waist ) they need to protect you.

५ but you're not totally bottom so...... the moment you get jealous. oh damn you drive them crazy. literally crazy. they would tease you for that, but they appreciate it so much, that is, it would warm both of their hearts (I could say more to Jakey because in my opinion he loves the genuine jealousy of a relationship).

Sometimes I really want to read a short summary of what to expect from a game with a very particular description that CATER to my OWN SPECIFIC interests, so here we go.

what to expect from I WAS A TEENAGE EXOCOLONIST

Don't let the title trick you, I literally bought this because I thought it was a cute and fluffy dating sim. It is not

Visual novel, RPG mixed with life simulator, with "battles" or progression of skill upgrades through a card game

The game has a rpg (isometric) aspect where you can explore the world and walk through the map, and a visual novel aspect where you interact with characters and the world itself

You play as Sol (or name of choice), you can choose any pronouns between he/him, she/her and they/them and indipendently from that you can choose your physical features (feminine, masculine or androgenous)

You play as a child born in a space ship which is travelling to colonize a planet, the game starts at your arrival in the planet

You grow up through the game

You have 12 skills avalable (ex. Persuasion, Empathy, Bravery etc.) that you can upgrade through dialogue choices and choice of activity (let me explain)

The game follows a timeline and ends up when your character celebrates their 20th birthday, so your character decides what to do each month. You can choose one activity per month, for example you can choose to study biology (which increases specific skills), or to help your mom in the fields etc.

Doing an activity means interacting with visual novel-like dialogue and completing a card game (you can turn off cards game, if you prefer)

You collect new cards through dialogues and events

On the map you can also talk with all the characters in game and give them gifts (that you find the world) to increase their friendship

You can befriend and/or romance different characters

No romance is gender locked

Some of the romances are polyamorous

Your skills will influence A LOT. They will give you perks (ex. gameplay stuff like being able to give more gifts per season), and plot relevant events (ex. your ability to adopt an alien animal)

The core plot of the game revolves around understanding the planet you ended up in, and how to survive alongside the creatures living there

The game has multiple endings

Your character can end up in multiple careers (ex. lawyer, administrator, astronaut etc.) which in some cases do affect the endings. These careers depend both by your choices and by your skills

This is a heavily character based game

Very HIGH replayability, both because it is hard to maximize everything and for plot reasons

plot? Your parents are part of an expedition to colonize a new planet and create a human settlement there. You start the game as a child and slowly uncover the secrets of the planet and decide what will happen to it and to the colony. gameplay? visual novel with choices, lots of choices of skills advancements that influence relationships and story, exploration, cards mini games characters? absolutely amazing characters, each one of them, even the secondary ones. The game has extensive characterization for most of its cast sadness level? very high

Hi! I’m maydayplays and this is the first Sims challenge I’ve ever written. I’d love your feedback and to answer any questions you have. I’d also adore being tagged in your stories if you’re playing this challenge. Ask questions here.

Welcome to the Edgar Allan Poe Legacy Challenge! I took his macabre, melancholy, and tormenting work and devised this challenge across ten generations. If you prefer the google doc version, click here!

This challenge is to be a guide or starting point for your storytelling but I encourage you to adapt your play as you see fit! Don’t beat yourself up for missing a generation’s goals or having your story deviate. That’s part of the fun.

Trigger Warnings

Please keep this mind that this is a Rated R legacy challenge. Poe’s work is a reflection of the tragedies in his life as well as the rejections he’s experienced and the addictions he struggled with.

That being said, I am not responsible for your health, well-being, or actions you take due to this challenge. By playing this challenge, you assume full responsibility for what happens and how it affects you.

I have also tried my best to note triggers before each generation but I’m human. There will always be triggers that are missed.

Mods (completely optional):

Basemental Drugs fits the vibe because Poe was known for his alcoholism and substance abuse.

MCCC is a mod that allows you to manipulate aspects of the Sims such as no occult, having pregnancies happen, etc. I often use it to move my plot along or improve quality of life.

Wonderful Whims enhances storytelling by giving Sims “first impressions” and noting whether they find another Sim attractive or not. It also includes menstrual cycles, polyamorous relationships, disabling jealousy, and much much more. If you want the smut, you can try Wicked Whims instead.

Control Any Sim allows you to turn household Sims into “household NPC’s” if you don’t like playing multiple Sims in a household.

Generation One: "The Raven"

Triggers: heartbreak, isolation, depression

While the other kids played in the sun and splashed in the mud, you spent your time happily clacking away on your typewriter and playing sonnets on your violin. Your parents worried that you weren’t socializing so they encouraged play dates.

You begrudgingly went to them until one day, you met Lenore, your raven-haired muse. (You don’t have to stick to the name Lenore).

Love blossomed quickly for you, until Lenore was suddenly gone from your life. This manifested your parent’s worst fear: you no longer socialized. They tried their hardest to get you to leave your room but they were met with haunting violin songs and frantic typing. As soon as you could, you moved out from their home to have even more isolation.

Aspiration: Bestselling Author Traits: Gloomy, Creative, and Loner Skills: Writing. At least level 4 in Painting and Violin.

Start off in a grungy, dirty home. The only item you’re allowed to cheat is your computer so you can start writing.

Get a computer and join the Freelancer (Fighting Words) career as your sole source of income. Even odd jobs should be avoided unless you can do them from home. Remember, you want as little interaction with other people as possible.

Buy the Creative Visionary reward.

Write at least one book named after Lenore in some way.

Marry someone who reminds you of Lenore (doesn’t have to be the negative/sad/depressing parts- unless you want it to be!) Get creative with how you meet them.

Have only one child (unless you get twins, etc.)

If you use cc’s, you can decorate your home raven-themed.

Generation Two: "Annabel Lee"

Triggers: emotionally distant parent(s)

You learned how to love your (Gen 1) unconditionally, even if it meant being the parent of your parent at a young age. When you began to have romantic relationships, you always wore your heart on your sleeve. After graduating high school, you kissed your parents goodbye because you couldn’t deal with the gloom and doom of your childhood home anymore.

You can inherit money from your Gen 1 depending on how Gen 1 did with the writing career.

Aspiration: Soulmate Traits: Romantic, choose/randomize the other two. Skills: Parenting and Charisma.

Have several relationships throughout your teenage and young adult life. They can be as casual/loving/serious/etc. as you’d like.

Your career is completely up to you.

Meet the love of your life and move to somewhere by the sea.

Have at least two children. Be as present as you can in their lives, throwing incredible birthday parties, reading them to bed, and showering them with love.

Have your partner pass away before your first child reaches young adulthood.

Have a bedroom specifically dedicated to your Annabel Lee that no one is allowed to go in but you. You can leave the urn there if you’d like.

If you remarry, they cannot know about the secret room.

Generation Three: "The Tell-Tale Heart"

Triggers: elderly abuse and murder

You grew up with a parent who wore their heart on their sleeve. You saw it as a blind spot that you could take advantage of. It started off with tiny white lies and as you got more confident, you began to steal from your family and then your neighbors. When people asked about what you wanted to be when you “grew up,” you always made something up. The truth is, you have no idea.

Aspiration: Public Enemy Traits: Kleptomaniac, Paranoid, choose/randomize the third. If you don’t have Paranoid, you can use Genius. Skills: Mischief and Charisma. Anything that’s required for your aspiration/career.

Join the Criminal or Secret Agent career depending on how you want to play your character. You can choose whichever branch you’d like!

When your charisma is high enough, ask to borrow money from at least 3 Sims. It’s up to you if you’d like to pay them back or not.

Have no more than one child. You don’t have to marry the other parent.

Achieve notoriety and become at least a three-star celebrity with a bad reputation.

Optional: Move an Elder Sim into your basement or a room in your home. Leave them there with no way of letting them out. Keep them a secret from your family.

Generation Four: "The Cask of Amontillado"

Triggers: a really messed-up way to kill someone, sociopathy

You were never sure what exactly your parent did for a living but you knew that you always got what you wanted. All you had to do was ask. Your parent made sure you were cultured, a little piano here, a little art there. You felt contempt for anything not to your standards.

Aspiration: Master Mixologist Traits: Snob, Perfectionist, and choose/randomize the third. Skills: Mixology. At least level 5 in Cooking. Anything that’s required for your aspiration/career.

Join the Culinary career and the Mixologist branch.

Marry someone who is of high society, whether they are extremely wealthy or at least 3-stars famous or both!

Brew a unique Amontillado drink.

Buy Money Tree reward to continue generational wealth.

Become mortal enemies with another mixologist whether they’re plain annoying or a threat to your business, get creative!

Create a wall in your bar with no exit. Put your mortal enemy in there and let them die in the wall.

Be extra petty by leaving your signature drink in the wall with them.

Be at least a three-star celebrity, famous for your Amontillado.

Generation Five: "The Masque of the Red Death"

Triggers: murder, mass murder, murder-suicide

You grew up being that kid who always had an endless supply of booze, thanks to your Mixologist parent. You were free to do as you wanted so naturally, you drank, you partied, and you spent money like it was your job. Everyone either wanted you to wanted to be with you. You feel immortal and that you can get away with anything.

Aspiration: Party Animal Traits: Outgoing, Noncommittal, and choose/randomize the third. If you have Get Together, you can sub one of those out for Dance Machine. Skills: Dancing.

Join whichever career you’d like OR switch it up and live off of your family fortune (inherit OR use the money cheat).

Throw the most extravagant parties complete with a caterer, entertainer, and mixologist! There’s no such thing as doing too much so have as much food, drinks, and gluttony as you’d like.

Always wear red to parties and have at least one outfit with a red mask.

Have a black room in your party house that no one is allowed to go into but you and whomever you invite. Murder them in that room but don’t forget your red mask!

Have random kids with random Sims.

Buy Seldom Sleepy reward.

Optional: For the full masque of red death experience, lock yourself and your party guests inside during a party. Don’t have any food, bathrooms, or any means of staying alive. Die together. You can also use a house fire for this.

Generation Six: "The Black Cat"

Triggers: emotional neglect

You were raised by other people (nanny/grandparents/foster/etc.) because your parents were never around. The person/people who raised you gifted you a kitten and you immediately fell in love with it. For once, you felt like you had someone. You two were inseparable. But as you neared adulthood, the cat passed away of old age. This drove you a bit mad and to fill the hole in your heart, you got more and more cats. But none of them were your first cat.

Due to Gen 5, change this Sim’s last name to Usher to protect them from Gen 5’s scandals.

Aspiration: Animal Affection Traits: Gloomy, choose/randomize the second and third trait. Skills: All skills required for your career and aspiration

Join the Detective career.

Marry as a young adult.

Have a cat named Pluto that is an all-black cat.

Always have the maximum amount of cats.

Keep all the urns from every cat that’s passed away and put them all over the house. Never release any of the cats to the netherworld.

Have a distant relationship with your child(ren). They remind you too much of your childhood and you prefer the company of cats.

Buy the Independent reward trait. Because cats are independent!

Generation Seven: "The Pit and the Pendulum"

Triggers: PTSD, disassociation

You learned from an early age that (Gen 6) wasn’t going to be around. It made you sad that they loved their cat(s) more than you but as you got older, you just felt bad for them. To get away, you made friends on the internet through gaming tournaments and chat rooms. You also entered the world of logic and puzzles. But this also meant that you prioritized escapism and often found yourself disassociating.

Aspiration: Nerd Brain Traits: Loner, Genius or Ambitious, choose/randomize the third. Skills: Video gaming. Logic level 5.

Graduate high school early or as an A student.

Join any tech-based career (esports, tech guru, etc)

Marry someone who shares your genius or ambition (they don’t need to have the trait, only the personality!) in a passion of your/their choice.

Buy the Needs No One reward trait.

Don’t have cats. Just the idea of it triggers your childhood experience.

Help your children with homework and encourage them to follow your logic-based path.

Never let your children meet your parents (at least, the Gen 6).

Generation Eight: "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether"

Triggers: malpractice

Your (Gen 7) never talked about your family history. You were able to trace your lineage back to (Gen 6) but it cuts off. There’s no more Ushers before that. As a teenager, you coped through making jokes and writing material. When you made people laugh, they stopped judging you… or did they?

Aspiration: Joke Star Traits: Socially Awkward, Vengeful, choose/randomize the third trait. Skills: Comedy. Mischief level 2.

Join the Entertainer career.

Achieve at least three-star celebrity status.

Marry someone who is “out of your league”. Up to you whether they are “using” your Sim or if it’s a legit love.

Have either twins or two children back to back who are close enough in age to be considered twins. No more than those two.

Your friends are also in the entertainment industry or celebrities of sorts… but they don’t get you.

Make constant jokes and prank others because that’s the only way you know how to show affection.

Buy the Money Tree reward and make as much money as you can to give to your heir(s).

Beat up one of the people who bullied you.

Generation Ten: "The Fall of the House of Usher"

Triggers: manipulation and potential abuse

This story is about twins. You can choose to play the “solo heir” mode or the “twin heirs” mode.

You (Gen 9) had no idea but you and your twin were snooping when (Gen 9) beat that bully up! To be honest, this was the first time either of you respected them. You grew up watching that parent be a pushover, unaware that everyone was always laughing. You and your twin vowed to never let anyone treat them that way. With the wealth you inherited, your charisma, and your twin’s observant and cutthroat nature, you and your twin set off to be the most powerful family in the world.

This is the last generation. Per the Fall of the House of Usher story, there are no heirs but if you want to play a looser story, go for it!

Twin 1 (based on the story, this would be the “official” heir):

Aspiration: Mansion Baron Traits: Social, Workaholic, choose/randomize the third trait. Skills: Charisma.

Spend your time making as much money as you can, however you can.

Make friends with as many celebrities as you can and throw lavish social parties.

Start a retail business of your choice. This is what you and your twin want to build up.

Meet the love of your life as a Teen or Young Adult. Lose them because you chose money over them.

“Get rid” of any Sim that gets in your way– but don’t get caught!

Buy the Money Tree reward trait.

Make friends with all the powerful and influential families.

Twin 2:

You always thought (Gen 9) was pitiful, even when your twin was compassionate about them. But when you saw them put their fists at one of their bullies, you felt a sense of satisfaction. This is what the Usher name should be about. You swore that people would shake in fear every time they heard the Usher name.

Do not have any heirs, for whatever reason that fits your story.

Aspiration: Mansion Baron (same for both twins) Traits: Perfectionist, Evil, choose/randomize the third trait. Skills: Mixology (because she’s always watching and observant)

Never marry. You don’t have time for that.

Black Widow any romantic partners you have. Keep a memento to remember each one.

Whenever your twin runs into trouble, whether with people disrespecting them or getting in their way, take care of the problem– be creative!

Rub shoulders with the elites of elites but always stay one step ahead.

Never get drunk or impair your judgment.

My Ripp Grunt headcanons

It was about time I put them all in one place because as you can tell I’m obsessed with him and have a lot😭 Some of them might make no sense whatsoever or sound weird or are probably me just projecting but who cares lol. If I forget any or think of more I’ll add them later. Also it’s going to be really long…

Anyway… “So Kai, how much do you like Ripp???”

Me:

Birthday

I have come up with a birthday for Ripp. December 13, 1988. (Yes I know December 13 is the same date as Taylor Swift lol.) He is a Sagittarius (that’s canon but that’s why I picked that birthday). I see sims 2 Strangetown as starting in 2005 and he was age 16-17 back then. He’s a year and several months younger than Tank and 4 years older than Buck.

Height

Kind of short for a guy, about 5.5. Tank and Johnny are significantly taller and he hates it.

Identity

He is bisexual and transmasculine. Maybe non binary too, specifically a non binary man (like a demiboy or something.)

Ripp has always been attracted to all genders. He doesn’t really care about that (can fit pansexual too.) He is open to seeing multiple people at once so is polyamorous too. Which can be one way of explaining the romance aspiration. And yes, he has a crush on both Ophelia and Johnny.

He is transgender and knew something was up from an early age. Like a lot of transmasc people he went down the “tomboy” to trans pipeline. He didn’t fully realise what being trans meant and that that was what he was until he was about 14 though. Ripp chose his name himself, idc. He thought it was cool.

Johnny and Ophelia were very supportive of him being trans. He had them at school when the bullies found something new to pick on. As was his mum Lyla who he is very close to. Buck didn’t fully understand at first because of being really young but is still very supportive. (Also Buck ended up becoming Rebecca and is transfem herself but that’s another character headcanon lol) Lyla helped him start HRT.

General Buzz though… I don’t see General Buzz as entirely transphobic. I think he’s the kind of person to prefer having sons, but is still weird about Ripp being trans. He is kind of against it at first but gets used to it. He would also want Ripp to be a man in the “right” way (based on a Tumblr post I saw.) He messes up pronouns sometimes but at least tries. He still thinks Ripp is a fucking lazy ass disappointment overall though 😭 “yeah you are trans or bi, whatever, but you are still my worst son ever.” I think he would be more concerned if any guy Ripp dated was an alien over the fact they were a guy (oops, he already has a crush on Johnny Smith.) General Buzz’s conflicting views about Ripp with Lyla also contributed to those two’s strained relationship. He sees a lot of Lyla in Ripp, in both appearance and personality and he hates being reminded of her.

Tank was in a similar position of getting used to it over time. Didn’t mean he stopped wanting to beat his ass all the time though. He had some internalised stuff he had to deal with himself though (being his own person with his own wishes and also, gay.)

Ripp took Lyla disappearing very hard, especially since she was the one helping with his transition. He was on his own. Things got complicated because General Buzz was still kind of unsupportive. Ripp snuck out for several days to get top surgery by himself and General Buzz was very angry about that.

Personality

He’s a very sweet person overall. He’s friendly with almost everyone and hates conflict, but if he is confronted he loves taking the piss out of them. He’s very positive most of the time despite his terrible life. Very talkative and can go on and on. Tries to make a joke and lighten the mood with just about everything, including himself, even if he does go too far sometimes (which he instantly feels bad about if he makes someone sad.) Definitely swears a lot which his father hates, but he loves annoying his father.

Relationships

I don’t think he has a bad relationship with his father and Tank forever. They make up at one point and maybe they don’t become really close but they at least get along somewhat again (no horrible PSP ending in my sims game.)

He was very close with Lyla, probably the most out of all three of Lyla’s sons so he was devastated when she left, and even more so when he found out she died. One of the few supportive people in his life and she was gone.

Him and Buck (or Rebecca later) are very close due to them both having a strained relationship with General Buzz. Rebecca looks up to Ripp a lot. Also they end up both being transgender which they make a joke out of later. “I can’t believe we’re both Grunts and trans.)

He’s been friends with Ophelia and Johnny since middle school. He hangs out with them a lot and prefers being with them to being at home. He loves being an idiot with Johnny but is sweet with Ophelia. He fell in love with Ophelia first then Johnny.

He met Lilith after she also ran away from home. The two became close because of that. They love poking fun at each other. He’s afraid Lilith will make fun of him if he tells her he likes her (but Lilith likes him too.)

Self insert time, he’s really sweet around Lana. Ripp talks a lot and Lana barely talks at all due to their extreme shyness but he doesn’t mind. He cares for them a lot. He is the most calm and gentle to them and loves listening to them ramble about their interests. He might want to marry her.

Music Career

Ripp was always interested in music, mostly rock music but he is open to other genres as well. I see him as being very into Nirvana. He started playing guitar at school with Johnny Smith, covering their favourite songs. Lyla got him own guitar, and he also started writing his own songs, uploading them to MySpace or something.

At one point he runs away from home and gets a trailer for himself. Away from his father, he has a lot more freedom to do what he wants with his life. He’s still working at the gas station and going to a lot of music labels and he eventually gets signed to one. He has his first major song released through them.

Ripp is the lead singer and guitarist in a band as well as a soloist, with Johnny Smith, Lilith Pleasant and Mercutio Monty, the last two he meets and befriends at one point. (Idk what to name this band yet lol.) Johnny also plays guitar, Lilith is the bassist and Mercutio plays the drums.

His music style is very diverse. And I’m also going to base them off Lana Del Rey albums and songs because why not. His very early work is very acoustic. The first ep and debut album he releases has influences of grunge, surf rock and psychedelic rock. A lot of guitar sounds. And whatever sounds come out of AKA Lizzy Grant.

He goes through some tough things in life which is why he takes a break between his debut and his second album. The sound of this album is quite different. Still guitar heavy but also very slowed, dark and psychedelic. Probably some of his most depressing songs ever. Definitely has a song calling out General Buzz. His Ultraviolence era. It’s a little bit of a concept album too, there’s some sort of storyline throughout. He wears black eyeliner on stage.

The next album is experimental, a little bit of the style of his first album back with the guitar but also some trap beats in there. If I could describe it in a Lana Del Rey song it would be Freak Like Me Demo. Also the most horny album. Bisexual anthem in there though.

The latest album I’ve imagined for Ripp (idk why I’ve imagined all these albums for a sims 2 premade, please help) he explores pop. Lust for Life era (I’m still drawing that, I have a vision.) It’s a lot more uplifting than his previous work and it changes the world. Also somewhat of a horny album too. He dies the ends of his hair purple.

Ripp moves to Del Sol Valley at one point when he becomes a celebrity and gets a house in the pinnacles.

He is definitely very popular in terms of being attractive. There are people making thirst TikToks of him and writing self insert fanfiction and everything. (Couldn’t be me. /s) Some fans are really obsessed with him. To the point they would leak his unreleased music and post it everywhere which is unfortunate but some of them are so good (I’m writing a fic based on this.)

He also does campaigns and advertisements and things as part of being a celebrity, there’s a billboard or magazine cover somewhere where he’s modelling underwear 🙏 And he also hopes it annoys his dad if he sees it and recognises his face lol

His social medias would be hilarious and he would also own terrible people.

Other random hcs

I think Ripp was an unplanned child. Lyla was happy to have him but General Buzz not so much, he kind of hated Ripp from day 1.

He was a “problem child” at least in General Buzz’s eyes and also the schools he went to where he had behaviour issues and struggled to focus. His dad made him see a psychologist. He’s autistic (or aspergers back in the late 90s-early 2000s, also I don’t think General Buzz is the most up to date) and has ADHD. I don’t think this helped with General Buzz already seeing him as a disappointment. Ripp gets really fixated on music (both certain artists and creating it) or certain tv shows or very unconventional things that are kind of uncomfortable for some people. Like literally just the subject of woohoo interests him and he wants to know everything about it lol. I think he fixates on philosophical stuff too like death and the purpose of life (another thing that can lead to some uncomfortable conversations.) Very unlike the stereotype of autism because he’s really outgoing and social too, but it is a spectrum.

I think he shows a lot of affection through touch.

Really dark hc but… 😭 Although he pretends it doesn’t, I think the terrible relationship he has with General Buzz and Tank, as well as Lyla disappearing and dying did really affect him. Has depression and some self esteem and emotional issues and fears abandonment. He has considered *unaliving* before. Also a weird relationship with food. Although he has max interest in food, and he eats a lot of food (but mostly junk food) he grew up with the pressure to remain thin. The dark period of his life between his first two albums involved that and he may have abused substances too. I’m a terrible person, I’m sorry 😭. The romance sim part of him might have spawned from craving the love he didn’t get at home. He feels undeserving of a real relationship but deep down that’s what he actually wants.

I am sorry to him for giving him all these traumatising hcs but I can’t help myself. He was bullied in his school years 🥲 The psp secret of him being afraid of toilets from “one too many swirlies as a child” is to do with this. Tank was involved too maybe, but I don’t believe it was all down to him and he’s a terrible person. With the trans headcanon, I think he was picked on by both boys and girls. Girls didn’t like him for being “weird” and boys would go out of their way to hurt him for trying to fit in with them.

Due to General Buzz being in the millitary, he travelled to a lot of places and moved around a lot prior to going back to middle school in Strangetown. I think he would become interested in different cultures and pick up some words of different languages. He lived in Tomerang at one point.

Ripp is kind of feminine. He isn’t afraid to like “feminine” things and he loves jewellery and painting his nails.

He has a brow piercing and a septum.

He gets a sleeve tattoo.

Has rarely ever cut his hair in his life, he lets it grow really long and he doesn’t care. He would hate for all of his hair to just be chopped off (and that’s also what his father wants)

Smokes, both cigarettes and weed. Tries to stop smoking the cigarettes later on though. Him, Johnny and Ophelia get stoned together and sometimes Lana if she’s willing.

He’s quite arty (his canonical one true hobby is set to arts and crafts.) Spends a lot of his time drawing anything from animals to horny “anatomy” pictures because why not. He takes art when he attends college.

Ripp is a great father. Idc about that romance aspiration, just because he has that doesn’t mean he’s a deadbeat father 😭 Like I’ve said before, that sounds like Don Lothario but not Ripp. His nice points are too high for that. Also being like his own dad would be the last thing he wants to be. He really cares for any kids he has, and the people pregnant with the kids. He would be a really fun dad, maybe a little permissive. Basically the opposite of General Buzz (and also how I think Lyla was.) He also cares for people in general instead of just wanting woohoo out of them.

Ripp is left handed. Sims 4 actually set him up as left handed for me lol. Left handed guitars are unavailable to him to start with so he’s forced to learn right handed 😰 But later on he gets a left handed guitar and plays amazing.

He has a tooth gap.

Cat person. General Buzz, Tank and Rebecca are all drawn to dogs but Ripp is the only cat lover 😭 He gets a havana or a maine coon (or both.)

I think Ripp fits the pleasure aspiration more than the romance aspiration to be honest. An aspiration that involves some romance but also not being a total sleaze and wanting to relax and have fun sounds more like him. It fits Lyla too (another reason why they were so close is that they had very similar personalities.) Another aspiration that fits is popularity, he’s just a very friendly person who loves making friends.

I FINALLY built the Staten Island vampire's residence in TS4.

WOW, this house is a MONSTER! Literally consumed almost a month and a lot of research! I did projects in college that demanding way less of me LOL

What can I say? So many lamps and so, so many candles! A huge property. Now I'm pretty sure Colin Robinson's adoptive family was filthy rich.

I tried to make it realistic, however, make no mistake: I don't have the complete plan, I built it from looking to photos and my own interpretation of the scenery in the scenes, so I took a lot of poetic freedom when building it and it's soooo far from identical to the set.

Same goes for the sims, TS4 just doesn't have enough tools to do the actors' faces justice, so be kind, OK?

I hope it's close enough for you to enjoy it. You can download here and play, but pay attention to the warnings below.

Warnings:

-The folders were previously scanned by antivirus and are free from malware;

-If you already have a save named "Slot_00000007", renumber mine so that yours do not be replaced during the transfer;

-Transfer the cc files to your mods folder;

-My folder contains Wicked Whims (version v176f dated July 24th) so vampires can have the polyamorous trait and can throw orgy parties. But be aware if at the time of your download the version is up to date. If necessary, delete the two files that start with "turbodriver", then go to the Wicked website, download the new version and replace! If you prefer a non-explicit version, you can simply delete the files I mentioned, in which case it's best to you have at least Wonderful Whims or that trio will be disastrous.

-This residence was built with A LOT of cheats, make sure to turn “bb.moveobjects on” before editing the house to ensure that some objects don't end up in your houses inventory;

-If you wantto sims to die drained like in the series, you need to add Extreme Violence mod, which is not included;

-Don't put my creations in the gallery without my consent.

OBSERVED ERRORS

When you spend 1 month on a single build, naturally some bugs start to appear. Anyway, TS4 is a mess now due to the horse expansion bugs, so it's possible that this will go away in the EA's next updates:

-Curved room ceiling not accepting the use of the new tool;

-Whatever-this-is that appears in some angles when the camera is far away:

Back in the year of the early 2000’s, a programmer came across the Restoration Project of the 70’s/80’s Welcome Home tv show. They ended up loving Welcome Home so much that they decided to make a game based off of it and ended up making a dating simulator!

The game was simple:

You could hang out with any of the characters in the dating sim and try to form some kind of relationship! Whether it be platonic or romantic. The dateable cast is as follows:

Wally Darling

Barnaby B. Beagle

Sally Starlet

Julie Joyful

Eddie Dear*

Frank Frankly*

Poppy Partridge

Howdy Pillar

*(Frank and Eddie would already be a married couple, but you would be able to be get into a polyamorous relationship if convinced enough.)

The more you hang out and get to know more about a particular character, the more romantically involved you and said character would become. (Ya know, typical dating sim mechanics.)

After some time, the game was finished, the programmer decided to do a test run of the game using Wally as their person of interest.

At the time, everything was all fine and dandy. Until our dear programmer fell victim to the dreaded ILOVEYOU Virus. They lost almost everything on their computer. They had also made the mistake of having all the files and coding on that same computer. Thankfully, nothing seemed to be lost or ruined in either the files or the codes. Or so they thought…

When they went to check up on the game, they noticed a few…. changes…

The game would randomly glitch whenever they were talking to the Wally character. And other times, it would somehow glitch back to Wally when talking to a completely different character. They tried rewriting the code and double checking the files for the game but it ended up making it worse or the results would end up the same: Fruitless..

Eventually, that programmer gave up on trying to save the game. They put it in storage and ended up moving on with other things in life and completely forgetting about the game in general.

Lets say… some odd years later, you end up finding game at some random garage sale. You ended up buying it and bringing it home to play, mainly because you were genuinely curious about it in general, but also mainly because you were bored and had nothing else interesting left to do that day. So, after getting back home, you pop it into the computer and load it up.

For such an old game, it surprisingly loaded quickly with ease!

After loading, the intro screen presents itself and you begin to play.

Your character starts off talking with Wally. Everything is fine up until a certain point. Whenever you finally got around to flirting with the Wally character is when things started glitching.

Whenever a different character and Wally were on the screen at the same time, tiny glitches would happen that would make Wally look like he was talking DIRECTLY at you. Other times it would make it look as if Wally would take a quick glimpse at you. Not the you in-game character, but YOU.

After a bit you started to get creeped out, so you decided to turn off the computer and take out the game, thinking that would be the end of it.

If only you know how oh so wrong you were about that…

That night, after had gone off to bed, your computer turned itself back on. It starts glitching out. Then finally after a few agonizingly seconds, a glitched out silhouette of Wally starts to slowly appear amongst the glitches…

(Each character acts differently in their own way. They each have their own personality, traits and quirks. It mainly all depends on how you interact with everyone!)

a/n: yeaaaa i went off with this one. hope y’all like it 🫶. this request was so fun, i enjoyed it a lot.

every thursday, friday, and saturday you sit in the same spot in the library. you sit in a back corner by the poetry section, a section where almost nobody comes to since collections of saddening love confessions don’t seem to be college kids forte nowadays. most days you would sit by and complete assignments, always making sure to finish everything before the due date so you don’t completely forget about it due to your lack of memory. but since you were constantly ahead of your assignments, some days you would either sit on your laptop and play the sims 4 or read a random book off of the book shelf nearest to you.

thankfully, no one ever dared to bother you. you’ve always mainly kept to yourself for the most part, only ever speaking to others when you had a project or someone dared to ask you something like directions to their classroom or the cafeteria. the resting bitch face you were gifted with along with your introverted personality made you somewhat of an outsider on top of going to a college that was three hours away from all you’ve ever known. you never cared of how others perceived you, you just always went about your day and did what you had to do to ensure a successful life for yourself. and you liked it that way.

the rain droplets danced against the large window as you played the sims 4 on your laptop, creating a new sim for the legacy challenge you had started around a week ago. since it was not only a friday evening but the weather was gloomy, not many people were in the library except for a few groups of people working on group projects and individuals checking out books for classes. but you enjoyed the vibe of the growing night, day6’s about now playing in your earphones as the world moved around you.

on weekends, the library closed by seven. but since the weather called for thunderstorms, the two lovebirds working behind the desk decided to close an hour early to ensure everyone’s safety when getting home, themselves included. both chanhee and younghoon were known around campus as the cutest, most refreshing couple, having been dating since freshman year of college and still going strong in their last year. they were both very friendly and became seemingly popular due to that fact, their clothes seeming to match in opposite ways and hair colors matching in some way, shape, or form. everybody adored them, and to say you didn’t would be a lie.

younghoon picks up the microphone in the library to speak into the loudspeaker, lowering the volume of it so it wouldn’t be too loud for those studying. “the library will be closing early today at 6PM due to the upcoming thunderstorm, thank you for your patience and understanding.”

chanhee snickers at the tone and word choice of his boyfriend, turning from the computer he was logging check-outs into. “you make yourself sound like an elderly english professor.”

younghoon rolls his eyes, walking back over to his lover and placing a quick peck to the top of his head before ruffling his bubblegum pink hair. “you’re lucky i love you.”

time passes you by, the announcement completely flying over your head as you were too deep into your game and day6’s discography bringing you into your own universe. as it nears 6PM, chanhee stands up from behind the desk and starts checking up and down the isles for students. a few are still lingering around so he tells them that they’re closing early, sending them off into the growing rain as he continues his rounds and younghoon finishes the closing duties in the front of the library. as the pink haired man gets to the back of the library, his eyes land on you. he looks you over for a split second, admiring your academia inspired outfit as your fingers glide across the pad of your laptop. noticing your wired headphones and your screen showcasing you playing the sims, he slowly approaches you as to not startle you.

feeling a gentle touch to your shoulder, you jump slightly in your chair and turn to see chanhee. taking off your headphones, you quickly glance at your phone and realize the time. “i’m sorry,” you start, quickly saving your game before closing the screen and shoving the laptop into its case. “i didn’t even realize the time.”

he chuckles, taking a step back so as to not be so close to you. “it’s okay, you seemed busy anyway. sorry for startling you.”

shaking your head as you stand to your feet, chanhee takes in how tall you seem to be. taller than him maybe? he was already 5’11, so maybe you were 6’? but now was not the time to ask, so he pushed his question aside. “it’s okay.” you respond, smiling politely at him before slipping on a hoodie and throwing your bag over your shoulder. “sorry again for not noticing the time.”

“it’s okay, really.” chanhee reassures, making the sweaters of his sleeves into paws. “the sims can be time consuming and hectic so i understand.”

you turn to look at him, the corners of your mouth grinning slightly. “you play the sims?” he nods, causing your smile to brighten. “i rarely find anyone who plays it, that’s so cool.”

as you both walk to the front of the library, taking your time to gush about your different towns and crazy sims 4 lore, younghoon is standing in front of the counter all ready to leave as the time is now 6:05. seeing his pink hair poke around the corner, he hears him having a conversation about something with an unfamiliar voice. as they turn the corner, his eyes stick to you. younghoon has seen you around campus, even sharing a class with you once or twice, but he never spoke to you since you were always so quiet and kept to yourself. regardless, he liked the energy you exuded within your daily outfits and admired you from afar. he watches as you both say goodbye to one another and you exit the library, chanhee locking the door behind you.

“who was that?” younghoon questions, holding out chanhee’s jacket for him and watching him put it on.

“y/n.” he says nonchalantly, throwing a hat on his head and adjusting his bangs. “they seem cool, they like the sims too!”

chuckling, younghoon grabs his boyfriend’s hand and starts walking towards the back entrance of the library. “good, you finally have someone to bother with about your sims that isn’t me.” he jokes, placing a quick kiss to his temple as chanhee pouts.

“that’s why your sim drowned on day two.”

the next day, younghoon takes notice of when you enter the library. but you don’t notice him though, your head always held high as you walked towards the back where your regular seat remained unoccupied. chanhee was off today, busy setting up a small gallery showing for the photography club on campus. tonight it was just him, having to do all of the closing routine by himself. he had never done that before, he just hoped it wouldn’t take so long to do so.

you sat in the back, re-reading and re-writing an essay before finally sending it in several hours later. with thirty minutes of time to kill, you decide to grab the nearest book off the shelf and start reading the cheesy poetry you secretly adored. as time neared 7PM, you quickly shoved the book back onto the shelf and packed your things. as closing time neared, younghoon was almost done with the closing duties as he noticed you walk out without a word.

catching himself staring as you passed, he quickly knocked sense into himself before cleaning up the rest of the books and logs and checking for any other individuals in the library. once he was completely finished with the closing shift, he grabbed all his items and ran out of the door to finally relax back at his apartment. as he left the library, his eyes landed on the pouring rain. scanning the outside, his eyes landed on you standing under a covering that was not doing a proper job at keeping you dry. younghoon would be lying if he said he didn’t feel bad, watching you stand there as you contemplated on running out in the rain or just calling for an uber home to avoid being soaked by the time you reached your apartment. he soon found himself wandering over to you, his umbrella in one hand as the other was shoved into his jean pocket.

as you stared out into the distance deep in thought, you suddenly felt a presence both next to and above you. scared, you look up above to see a black umbrella hovering over you. to your right, a tall man holding said umbrella. you automatically recognize him as younghoon, chanhee’s boyfriend that he briefly mentioned in conversation. you weren’t sure what to say, so you just bowed your head slightly at him as a thank you. staring at each other, eyes and expressions unreadable, the silence is both awkward yet comforting as the sounds of the rain pelt against the pavement.

younghoon was the first one to break the silence, his palms becoming sweaty for unknown reasons. “i, uh, didn’t want you to get wet. you seemed unsure of what to do, so.”

you nod, biting on the inside of your cheek out of nervousness. “thank you, younghoon. i appreciate it.”

another minute passes in silence, causing you to begin twiddling with your thumbs out of habit. “did you need a ride home?”

you shake your head, chuckling at his offer. “i’m okay, but thank you. i think i’m just going to walk home tonight.”

“are you sure? i don’t mind at all.”

“as sweet as the gesture is, we did just officially meet so i wouldn’t feel too comfortable with that. but thank you regardless, i appreciate you asking.” you smile up at him, taking in note that you are both similar in height so you don’t have to look too far up into his eyes.

“ah, i understand.” once your eye’s finally meet his, he feels his heart race at the sight of your alluring smile. he couldn’t help but smile back, your smile infectious. “at least take my umbrella, i have an extra one in my car and you can just give this one back whenever we see each other next.”

deciding it was reasonable, you nodded and asked if it was positive if you borrowed it for the time being. when he reassured you it was, you took it from his hands and thanked him once again, promising to bring it back to him once you returned to the library as you walked away into the pouring rain.

a week of classes passed without a sight of you, both chanhee and younghoon secretly hoping they’d bump into you somehow. but atlas, they never did. everything they arrived at work, they hoped to see you enter and walk back between the shelves of books but never did. well, up until thursday that is. when chanhee saw you walk in, he expected you to walk to your usual spot and do your own thing till closing. but when you walked up to the counter, he suddenly felt nervous yet excited.

“hey chanhee, is younghoon around?” you question, leaning on the counter with your elbow as your chin rests in your hand.

“he’s on his break right now, he should be back in like, ten minutes.” he responds, his tone soft yet loud enough for you to hear. “why?”

“last week he let me borrow his umbrella so i just want to return it to him.”

he nods, watching you walk after responding back into the corner you always sat. after a couple of minutes, younghoon returns with some food and coffee for them both. a few minutes pass by, both of them checking out customers until you come up to younghoon’s side with his umbrella when the line has no more customers left.

“thank you for letting me borrow it last week, i appreciate it a lot.” you say, smiling politely as you hand it to him.

after younghoon mutters a small ‘you're welcome’, the two boyfriends watch you walk back into the sea of students and disappear behind shelves once again. hours pass as you finish up your work with an hour to spare before closing, opening your laptop to play the sims once again. dean’s discography engulfs you in a warm embrace as time moves by quickly, your own universe bringing serenity and comfort.

before you know it, it’s ten minutes before closing and you start packing up your items. younghoon awaits for you to pop out from behind the shelves of books, trying not to make it obvious he’s waiting to see you as chanhee checks for students throughout the library to remind them they’re closing for the night. as you make your way to the front, chanhee stops you before you’re even in front of the door.

when you hear your name being called over the music in your headphones, you look over to see the pink haired man smiling at you. you return the smile, curious as to why he’s calling you. “did i do something wrong?” you ask dumbfounded, removing an earbud from your ear with softening eyes.

chanhee shakes his head, letting out shy laughter before answering you. “no, nothing like that. i, uh, well we,” he stutters as he motions towards him and his boyfriend. “wanted to know if you wanted to get to know us better. like, on a date. if you’re comfortable doing that, of course.”

shocked wouldn’t even begin to describe how you feel. you, being asked out on a date, after several years of not even putting yourself out there? and all it took was weekly three day trips to the library to asked out? the silence you provided made their anxiety shoot up, thinking you would tell them no. “sure!” you finally respond with your shimmering smile, your body language giving away your obvious excitement. “when would you want to?”

at the corner of your eye you see younghoon shuffling behind the desk, as you turn your head you see him lifting up a wooden picnic basket and placing it on the counter. “we’re free now, if you are?” younghoon sounded more nervous than chanhee, making you giggle and agreeing to the nightly picnic.

ever since that first night, all three of you became inseparable. it was safe to say that when people saw you three meeting whenever you could, the occasional hand brushes and heart eyes were something anyone could notice from a mile away. all three of you took it slow since you were beginners at developing a polyamorous relationship and wanting to make each other feel as comfortable as possible. and even though some people may have thought it was odd, nothing could have felt more right.

one tuesday night after finishing your class early, you decided to bring some food over to the library so your two soon-to-be boyfriends wouldn’t go hungry until work finished. as you walked through the halls and up the stairs to the library, you enter and notice neither of them behind the counter as per usual. even though you found it odd, you brushed it aside and started looking around for them. behind one of the glass doors that lead into the office, you noticed another worker in there filing some documents. since everyone working there started to get acquainted with you slowly but surely, you sneak behind the desk and ask about where the two boyfriends are. the worker tells you they’re down by the group tables on break, pointing in the direction they went. nodding, you make your way towards the area.

as you start to approach the area, you hear them having a conversation with someone else. you weren’t sure who since you don’t know many people around campus, but you assume it’s a friend of theirs. normally you wouldn’t eavesdrop, but the atmosphere surrounding them had a serious feel to it so you hid behind a bookcase and listened in.

“i’m just surprised, that's all. i didn’t think you guys would go for someone like them.”

you roll your eyes at the comment, having heard it multiple times throughout your life. “what’s that supposed to mean? someone like what?” younghoon asks, his teeth gritting from the obnoxious comment made by their so-called friend.

“you know.” the friend trails, movement being heard as he uses his hands to motion something.

“i don’t see how them being chubby has anything to do with our feelings for them, that shit makes no sense.” chanhee blurts out, leaning back in the uncomfortable wooden chair and crossing his arms across his chest.

“it’s not just that-“

“then what is it, huh?” chanhee’s voice seems to get louder, making your eyes widen. you’ve never heard him raise his voice, you never thought he’d even have it in him to do that.

“compared to you, they’re just so different. especially in size-“

you hear younghoon try to calm down his boyfriend, but the tone of his own voice shows aggravation as well. deciding it was enough, you turn down from the bookcase and tap both of their arms gently. once they notice it’s you, their demeanor changes and suddenly they seem less tense. you glare at their friend before grabbing both of their hands, dragging them into a study room and closing the door behind the three of you.

although seeing you did calm them down, the words of their ‘friend’ still ran through their mind. “guys, are you okay? take deep breaths.” you reassure them, locking the door and walking towards them to put the containers of food on the table.

you rub both of their arms, sending them a comforting smile. a smile they're both starting to fall for gradually. “how much of that did you hear?” chanhee asks as younghoon calms himself down with your suggestion, taking his hand and grabbing your unoccupied one.

“not a lot, but just enough to know he was talking absolute bullshit.”

younghoon takes his hand and cups your right left cheek, staring at you with the utmost love reflecting in his eyes. “you don’t believe all that, do you?”

you shake your head, letting out some laughter. “of course not. i’m secure enough within myself to not believe any lies like that.”

younghoon places his forehead against yours, his lips brushing up against yours for a split second. “can i kiss you?”

when you nod in agreement, younghoon wastes no time smashing his lips onto yours and pulling your body against his. was sharing your first kiss in a study room at his job in the library ideal? not exactly, but he just wants to make you feel loved. he wants you to know he doesn’t believe in anything negative anyone has to say against you, because why should any of that matter? what he and chanhee feel for you shouldn’t matter to anyone else but you three, plain and simple.

pulling away panting, you both stare at one another for a few seconds before you hear a pouting chanhee to your right. turning your heads, he stands there with his arms crossed over his chest and his bottom lip poking out.

“me next?” he mumbled, smiling as soon as you said ‘yes’ and pulling you to him by your waist gently.

chanhee wastes no time placing his lips on yours, having wanted to do this for quite a few weeks now but never knowing the perfect timing. he adored everything about you, both inside and out. not one flaw detected as he showed you with passion in your first kiss. as your hands rest in his hair, playing with his strands of pink, you pull away with a big smile.

chanhee wastes no time, his breathing pattern is not even regulated yet before he asks, “does this mean we’re official? all three of us? finally?”

“if this is you asking me out on your thirty minute break at your job in a study room then sure, yeah.” you joke, placing a small kiss to the tip of his nose before pulling away so no one can potentially see what is happening in the room. “but does this mean i have to match with both of you now?”

looking over at each other for a moment, they shrug and take seats at the chairs. “maybe from time to time, chanhee really likes it when we match on dates.” younghoon mentions, patting his thighs and motioning for you to sit. you debate if you should, but ultimately decide to anyway. younghoon holds you in his lap, arms wrapping around your waist and swiveling around his chair as his head rests on top of yours. “i don’t even want to go back to work now, i’m too happy.”

chanhee’s smile never fades as he opens up the containers of food, picking up a pair of chopsticks out of the bag and begging to eat some sushi you bought from their favorite restaurant. “me neither, but looking at the time we only have five minutes left.”

you sigh into younghoon’s shoulder, your arms wrapped around his neck as you think. “i can meet you guys after your shift, maybe we can hang out or something afterwards?”

both of your boyfriends perk up, nodding in agreement with mouths full of sushi. after swallowing a piece, chanhee comes up with a suggestion. “would you be comfortable spending the night with us?”

when they go back to work, you run back to your apartment and pack an overnight bag to take with you to your boyfriends’ apartment for the first time. and although you were technically sleeping over, there wasn’t much sleeping going on.
