What if the Mighty Nein roll up to the final fight against Ludinus and just Polymorph him into a turtle. The turtle still tries to go for Fjord, but since he's a turtle, Fjord just flips him upside down on his shell and they pack him in place with a couple moon rocks while they get their restraints and/or attacks ready.
