Okay but it would have been so funny if Robin actually told Crocodile that Pluton was in Wano. It would just be like
Robin: Uhm it’s not here, it’s in the Land of Wano...
Crocodile:
Crocodile: Are you telling me I’ve spent like 10 years taking over the wrong country
Crocodile: And the right country is one that a Yonko already called dibs on more than 20 years ago
Robin:
Cobra:
Luffy:
Crocodile:
Crocodile:
Crocodile: I’m going to break something

Luffy = sun god, Law = moon god?
Some long-ass Analysis of this Theory! Enjoy !!
Warning: op manga spoilers ahead
Tumblr media
first thing first,
Let us break down Law's name again. I found on Twitter, a translated tweet from a Japanese fan explaining that Law's taboo name isn't actually 'Water' but 'War Tale'.
The word used is ワーテル which is pronounced as "wāteru" and has no direct translation in English or any Language, unlike "水" (mizu) in Japanese. they point out that the same 'word manipulation' that happened to 'Laugh Tale' is applied here.
'war tale' according to Law is a taboo name, and his family for generations has...?
Let's take a minute and look at the Nefertiti family, for example, their duty was to protect the Ponegliffs all these years, also, The Kozuki Family's duty was to write the History on those Ponegliffs. ( there's actually a theory of them having a secret D as well)
Then, what is Law's Family rule? I am guessing something relating to inheriting or maintaining the records of the war that happened in the void century -The Story of War/ War tale- or some sacred wisdom or piece of Information. maybe Law had heard of the name Imu from his parents just like Copra did and that is why they keep their names secret - from Imu, which shockingly, knew Liliy for 800 years, and just now did Imu realize she is a D. So it runs in families?
Let me go back to why I think Law is related to the moon god despite the popular belief that Blackbeard is, in fact, the moon god.
here is Oda's statement for their flower:
Luffy=Sunflower
Law=Queen of the Night
So, these D boys are:
Luffy is the sun, Law is the moon, and Blackbeard is the eclipse and not the moon.
Tumblr media
(Credit: @moustawott, on Tumbler)
Let's ponder Egyptian mythology for a sec, The god of the moon, Thoth, he is known for several things that sort of matches Law's actions and Characteristics:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
( please notice the blue feather im dying)
Thoth helped the sun god ''Ra'' by providing him with magical spells to overcome obstacles during his nightly journey through the underworld( Luffy+ Law = Marineford).
2. He was depicted holding a writing palette and a reed pen, symbolizing his role as the divine record-keeper and lawgiver(war tale- Law's Family duty).
3. Thoth was also associated with medicine and healing. He was believed to possess knowledge of magical spells and remedies that could cure ailments and protect against diseases ( basically Law).
4. He was responsible for recording the verdict of the heart-weighing ceremony that determined if the person was able to continue on to the Afterlife (final operation theme).
5. in the eye of Hours, the sun is a symbol of good luck& the moon is a symbol of healing powers.
The moon is not the enemy of the sun, they co-exist, the moon is an ally that comes before the dawn. As Law broke the gear of the world in Punk Hazard, and announced the beginning of the new Area, a.k.a beginning of the Dawn.
Maybe Law isn't the moon god himself but he acts like a moon knight at least, since Luffy got to the new world, Law was at his side, as his guide from the darkness to the new dawn ( a bit romantic lol? not my intention really) and what drove Law to save Luffy at the Marineford was his instinct to protect the sun.
Another point is, Law's chest and back tattoos are clearly devoted to Cora, but his arms and hands show a wheel and sun-shaped circles, plus, his jolly roger, which I know is a rip off of doffy to piss him off BUT
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
when putting those next to each other, makes you wonder, right?
what made me come up with those biased, wild, and crazy ideas is this:
Tumblr media
this cross is within a circle, the Solar Symbol cross. ( pointed out by @DawnDuskJapan on youtube, check it out)
the cross representing the rays of the sun and the circle representing the sun itself. It symbolizes life, vitality, and the power of the sun.
The ancient Shandians worshiped a Sun God, and The giants of Elbaf worship a Sun God as well, so maybe, The white city also worshiped the sun god? which Law subconsciously, added those features to his jolly Roger and tattoos.
Let's not forget, Both Law's and Luffy's devil fruits were what the WG wanted THE most.
in the end, I am ok with anyone calling me a nuthead.

this spread is very interesting. a clear nod for elbaf and maybe we can find some clues for future arc.
thanks to @kathitah for this colored spread.
Tumblr media
we are now nearing the end of the egghead arc in the manga. brogy and dory already appeared to lead them to elbaf the last island before raftel. and probably the last road ponegliff will be there. also, the much awaited reunion of jaguar d saul and nico robin.
i know oda most of the time put clues on his cover spreads and chapters for future arcs and maybe this spread will tell us something.
notice that zoro's face is serious but it looks somber/sad. among the boys in this spread, he is the only one who is not looking happy here. his head down like he is contemplating with a frown.
Tumblr media
I've been thinking for a while now that oda is saving zoro to have a major conflict with their captain/luffy.
their fight during whiskey peak when luffy thought zoro killed everyone without a reason (not knowing it was a setup, and the people were BW agents) was not a major clash between them. it was done for comedic purposes and there was no emotional conflict involved.
we are already done with usopp and sanji. they got their very emotional and major clash with luffy.
1st Usopp duel during water 7/enies lobby arc: the heartbreaking decision for going merry. usopp fight with luffy. usopp left the crew.
2nd Sanji duel during the zou/whole cake island arc: sanji left the crew due to his family's background and big mom threat. sanji's fight with luffy and luffy not fighting him back. still believing sanji would return to them.
the key factor why these 2 duels were so heartbreaking is due to the emotional conflict that the characters were going through.
zoro is seen as the most loyal to luffy. never betrayed him and will follow luffy to the end. and if luffy orders zoro to kill anyone, he will do it without a doubt. he is the vice captain, second in command not even once he questions luffy's action.
in one episode post-enies lobby when luffy is happy to know usopp wants to rejoin the crew, we saw a glimpse of zoro "angered" towards luffy almost confrontational. he acted as a serious vice captain/second-in-command and reminds everyone they are pirates they have a code to follow.
luffy should act as a captain and let usopp admit his mistake and say sorry before letting him back to the crew. zoro even threatens to leave the team if they accept usopp easily as if nothing happened.
just putting my tinfoil hat on.
so many things going on now in op due to gorosei, the void century reveal etc... but i have a feeling that there'll be a plot in the future that will put zoro and luffy's bond to the test. a serious conflict between them. they will get their major emotional fight. a duel like with sanji and usopp.
i dont think zoro will betray luffy but my theory is that there will be a plot that zoro will not agree to luffy's decision/action that will lead to a duel. im debating if their conflict will have zoro temporarily leave the crew just like what happened to usopp and sanji. of course that conflict will be resolved after many chapters and zoro will return to the crew.
i thought wano will be a perfect setup for zoro and luffy to have a major clash (cos you know land of samurai, zoro's lineage etc) but wano has too many moving pieces and storyline to cover so my speculation that during elbaf arc zoro and luffy will have a duel.
elbaf is very fitting if you think about it the land of the giants. land of warriors. oda is a writer and he plotted things ahead of time so luffy versus zoro on elbaf is not a far fetch theory.

This week on OP twitter some people tried to do an intelligence scalling with the Straw hats. I think it's unuseful and kind of dumb, because all of the characters are smart in their own area.
So here's the counter scalling list :
Robin : she was a child archeologist, she lived for year in secrecy, can read the ponegliffs, knows a lot about history and use her knowledge to make hypothesis.
Since I saw people trying to compare Nio Robin and Franky while we all know those two like to Kiss, now here's Franky.
Franky : Bro has built himself after being Run over by a train. He's not jus a cyborg he turn himself into one.
Usopp : not only Usopp is the only one to have some common sense he's also a sharp shooter and that's not thanks to luck. Bro is calculating is shot, trajectory, speed ect plus he is a great inventor ( he made the climat bâton )
Nami : talking about the climat bâton, you have to be extremlly well verse in climatology and meteorology to use it. In addition to that she's an amazing navigator, and she makes great maps
Sanji : to be able to do all of this receipes, to make them both for taste and nutrition value and to be able to master the receipes of Kamabakka kingdom while fighting is amazing.
Chopper : Do I need to explain why the doctor is intelligent ?
Brook : he's a music genius as shown by his career as soul King as well as his use of music during battle
Luffy : I think we can call it something like emotional intelligence (I guess ?) Bro seem to know thing about people they don't know themselves yet , he's so aware
Zoro : bro likes swords and the number three

this must be so insane for her. she finds a ponegliff in alabasta, it's not the one she's looking for, she essentially gives up, only to be launched into the sky where she finds more ancient writing

Providence a Doflamingo x reader fic Part 1
Tumblr media
CONTAINS: dark content (emotional manipulation) otherwise SFW, slight fluff but mostly angst
Tbh I don't think this series will have more than two or three parts but anyways here's part one. It's gonna be sort of a prequel to part 2. Haven't edited it so it's probably gonna be rly stream of consciousnessy. Also, my first time posting here! Reader is written as a brown woman but read her however you like. Hope you enjoy!
You were raised in a brothel frequented by merchants and scholars alike. They would often hold meetings here, sharing information while enjoying a stiff drink and a woman on their lap. Your mother was the favourite of a renowned scholar from Ohara who had been excommunicated from the archaeologists society. An elderly man who decided to spend the last of his years in this brothel. The closest thing to a father that you’ve ever had. He instilled a love for archaeology in you, taught you how to decipher lost languages and made you an expert in ponegliffs at the age of 15.
He died a few years later. It was around that time Doflamingo and his family came into town. They had planned for it to be a short visit. Word had reached them about a girl of 18 who lived in a brothel – a girl that knew how to read ponegliffs. Seeing an opportunity to make money, your mother sold you off to Doflamingo.
Doflamingo knew your worth and knew how to care for you. A precious addition to his crew. You were a rarity, someone who was essential in his quest for divinity. The day you were sold off was the worst day of your life but the life that came after was one you could never have imagined were you to stay in that port town. Doflamingo gave you books, clothes, and a room of your own. Freedom. The family treated you as one of their own and slowly but surely you began to open up to them. Senor Pink took you to see his wife a couple of times, and you grew close to Baby 5 and Buffalo, them being the only members around your own age. You vaguely knew that Doflamingo had dealings in the underground market but you were often left out of business meetings and missions. To you, Doflamingo was an elusive figure. That is until 9 years later, when you witnessed what this man was actually capable of, when the man they call the great heavenly demon brought an entire kingdom to its knees.
“You can leave whenever you wish to.” He noted the fear in your eyes as you gazed down upon the inferno, “Although... as it is now, I don’t think that you’ll find a reason to leave”. You heard his command loud and clear. You realise that this man is a mirage of gentle greatness harbouring pure evil at the core. Tears prickle behind your eyes as you feared that he was just getting started.
“Oh, my sweet girl… you did this”. His large hands cup your cheeks, tilting your head up to face him. “I thank you. I could never have done this without you.” You finally begin to cry at his words. He embraces you and there’s little you can do but let him. Your hands balled up into tight fists, resting on his broad chest.
You couldn’t sleep the first night in his care. “Mother never loved you, she only saw you as profit – nothing but money to be made. You're all alone in this world”. Poisonous thoughts occupied your mind, you needed a distraction. So you sneaked into the library and looked for a book to read.
Doflamingo was about to enter the library as well, when he caught a glimpse of you. At that moment, he thought that you looked like divine in your stark white nightgown contrasted with long black hair and bronze skin illuminated by warm candle light. You struggled to reach a book at the top of the shelf until you saw a hand shoot up from behind you. Doflamingo grabbed the book and studied the cover, “The Book of Five Rings? Didn’t know that we had this”. His sudden appearance managed to purge your mind of any thoughts of your mother. Completely dumbfounded, the only thing that you could muster up was “Do you read, sir?”
He chuckled lightly as he walked over to a velvet chaise lounge and settled into it with the book.
“Of course you–“ you wished that you hadn’t spoken at all in the first place, "it’s your library after all”.
“I don’t have much time to read these days.”
You studied his features for a while, spiky blonde hair and a sharp jawline. He was as handsome as he was intimidating.
“Uhm… I couldn’t sleep.”
“I see…”
“I thought I would read instead.”
He looked confused for a short moment until he realised, “Ah, I've hijacked your book.”
“Oh, no… I’ll read another. I didn’t mean–“
He cut you off and pointed to another book “Grab me the blue paperback on the desk there.”
You grabbed it and handed it to him.
“I’ll give you back your book and read this one instead.”
You nodded. “Thank you, sir. I-I’ll read it in my room”
“You can stay,” coming from him, it sounded more like a demand than a suggestion, “Let me keep you company until you feel like you can sleep.”
You spent the rest of the night together with Doflamingo. In a soothing silence.
Despite his imposing presence, he has always been gentle with you. Even as he massacred a whole kingdom and turned the king into his own puppet. You knew that you had to leave him, however improbable it may be, you had to escape from this man.

One Piece Chapter 1076
We pick up where last week’s chapter left off, with Lucci and Kaku trying to get out of their cuffs to take on S-Hawk and S-Bear, and when they try to negotiate terms, Lucci reveals himself to be just as clueless and irrational as his nemesis.
Tumblr media
Having taken the bait, our new CP-0 buddies get to strut their stuff against the seraphim.
COMBINED KONG GUN / ROKUOGAN LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOO
Tumblr media
We also get a glimpse of Vegapunk (The Stella version) in some kind of prison tube, captured alongside members of the other Cipher Pol branches. Who captured them? A renegade Lilith? An as-yet-unkown satellite body? The unseen S-Mingo? Who Cares?
HOLY FUCK SHANKS ON ELBAF ABOUT TO FIGHT KIDD??
Tumblr media
That delays their advance on Laugh Tale for a bit, at least, but now we’ve got the two non-Emperors that won the day on Wano each conflicting with an Emperor of their own.
Tumblr media
On that note, it looks like Kidd himself has a road ponegliff, one that the other Pirate King contenders seem unaware of. Also, it was in the engagement with the Red-Haired Pirates that Kidd lost his arm during the timeskip, but it wasn’t against Shanks. (I think it was against Ben Beckmann)

One Piece Chapter 1081 - some Kuzan-related thoughts - SPOILERS
So, I've been rereading old chapters because I tend to forget some details when it comes to reading manga. AND THEN... I came across this scene which I don't remember reading AT ALL (or I might have remembered it differently since I read fan-translated chapter the first time).
Tumblr media
And a thought suddenly came into my mind: damn, he can't completely forget the Ohara incident, can he? (I mean - who wouldn't?!)
We never see him being vulnerable. He always comes off as lax and goofy, and the other times dutiful, merciless with no signs of weakness, which is understandable considering his position back then as an admiral. Is he putting on an act? Trying to get shit together despite everything? I wonder if he gets nightmares from Ohara, or having random flashbacks which leaves him frozen in a moment. What is even going through this guy's mind?! We haven't seen much of him!!
These are the questions I keep asking myself since for some reason, other than because he's hot I'm so stupidly invested in this guy.
He's still canonically a mysterious character to me, therefore any hints of his true character is so, so significant.
I guess the existence of this scene sort of revealing (part of) his thought process. I hope I'm not reading into the scene too much - but honestly, I can't fucking help it.
He must be carrying a twenty-plus-year worth of guilt on his shoulders - the guilt from participating in a genocide, the guilt from killing a dear friend - to the point where he just solemnly rambles on, just like in that scene, when someone mentioned something that reminds him of Ohara, even though no one was asking him to talk about it at all! All they asked him was if he knew about the whereabouts of the last Red Ponegliff and my man suddenly got flashbacks and talked about Ohara, Saul, and Robin ;) he does need a big hug.
I wonder if he knows that Saul is still alive - how would he react to this?
I really can't wait to see how his storyline goes. Lowkey hoping that he will be a prominent player in the final act!

Bringing dawn
I originally wrote this as a possible story for the Luffy zine but we decided to go with another idea and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't glad because even when I was writing it, I was dying to make it gay so here we are (yes it took the aftersales starting to force me to edit it after almost a year)
Lawlu in Pedro's POV or; Law comes to WCI for one reason and one reason only (my own bias)
[ Read on AO3 | Ko-Fi ]
----------
Watching Straw Hat Luffy over the two weeks of travel between Zou and Totto Land, Pedro had to say he had mixed feelings. He knew Master Nekomamushi and Duke Inuarashi had full trust in the young man, going as far as to show him the Road Ponegliff, but his carefree, reckless attitude was honestly a little concerning.
First, there was the free fall off of Zunesha—Pedro still wasn’t sure how in the world they had managed to survive that—then his ‘mystery curry’, then he ate a poisonous fish… one so deadly that neither one of the two doctors present could do anything but delay the inevitable and honestly, Trafalgar Law looked ready to kill Straw Hat himself when he realised what had happened. It was ridiculous; if that Germa girl hadn’t decided to save him, their grand infiltration would have failed spectacularly before it even really started. And, as if all that wasn’t enough—
“Café-eaters!!!”
Pedro’s mouth fell open at the scream coming from Chocolat Town. It hasn’t even been ten minutes since they landed on Cacao Island… “Is he always like this?” Pedro asked, incredulous.
“Unfortunately,” Trafalgar Law said, a deep, long-suffering sigh accompanying his words.
Brook laughed, sounding all too happy considering the situation. “Luffy is a very free-spirited person.”
Pedro frowned; he wasn’t sure he’d call this ‘free-spirited’. Maybe ‘selfish’ would have been more accurate. “Great,” he groaned, rubbing at his forehead in frustration. “We need to stop them.”
And this was the man who was supposed to bring dawn to the world?
----------
They were lucky.
So stupidly lucky that it wasn’t even funny.
When they learned the girl who had saved Luffy and Chopper from getting arrested was one of Big Mom’s daughters, Pedro honestly thought they were done for—especially when Luffy introduced himself just like that, once again not sparing a single thought about the consequences. But then the girl actually said she was going to help and, despite his better judgement, Pedro couldn’t defy the confident look in Luffy’s eyes.
Pedro had no idea what made the young man so certain this Pudding girl was a good person—it couldn't be simply because she fed him. But, at the very least her information seemed to be credible enough to get them past the security so despite his uneasiness, Pedro had to begrudgingly admit accepting her help was worth something. Maybe she really did want to help them. It would be shocking, downright crazy, for a daughter of Charlotte to defy her mother this way. But…
Pedro couldn't confidently say it was impossible. There was this something about Straw Hat Luffy that drew people in and made them want to help him. After all, Pedro wasn’t an exception; he, too, was right there on Straw Hat’s ship and doing his best to get him to his destination, as foolhardy as it seemed.
Sure, at first he wanted to help because Sanji was kidnapped from right under their noses in the Mokomo Dukedom. He wanted to help get him back. Now, however, after spending two whole weeks with them, it wasn’t that simple anymore.
“Hey, Nami,” Luffy called out just then. “That island is made of biscuits!”
“No,” Nami said immediately without even looking up from the log pose.
“Are you sure we can’t stop just for five—no, one minute?” There was a pout on his lips as he gave his navigator his best puppy eyes.
Nami was obviously unphased when she simply shot him a glare. “Do you want us to get caught before we even get to see Sanji?”
“Fine,” Luffy whined, slumping over the railing as he looked at Biscuits Island wistfully, grumbling to himself about stupid Big Mom hogging all the tasty food.
Pedro shook his head. How careless could he be? Walking over to stand next to Luffy, Pedro noted, “We really don’t want to go there. Charlotte Cracker rules over that island.”
Luffy blinked, slowly turning his head to look at Pedro. He didn’t say anything for a moment, simply watching Pedro with inquisitive eyes. “Is he strong?” he asked finally.
“He’s one of the Sweet Three Generals. Big Mom’s top officers,” Pedro explained, hoping Luffy would understand the weight of such a title.
Barely a beat of silence passed before Luffy’s face split in a wide grin. “Sounds fun.”
“Fun?!” Pedro asked in shock. “Luffy, this is serious. We’re in the middle of Big Mom’s territory!”
Pedro startled at the look Luffy gave him then. If possible, the grin on his lips had only widened but there was something in his eyes, something that made Pedro freeze under the weight of that piercing gaze. It only lasted a second, however, before Luffy broke the tension with a snicker.
“It’s not like we’re here to pick a fight. But if it comes down to that, I’ll just kick all of their butts,” Luffy announced, nodding to himself as if to confirm his own statement.
Pedro hummed while he regarded Luffy carefully. There wasn’t a single hint of uncertainty in either his voice or posture; he seemed completely unbothered by the fact they were pretty much engaging in a guerilla against an Emperor. It was… so unbelievable it was actually worthy of admiration.
Pedro wanted to account it to the fact Luffy was so young but he couldn’t say he had this much confidence in himself at nineteen years of age. He was cocky and possibly a little bit too self-assured back then to be sure… but if he were to face such an overwhelming force like they did right now, he would have been terrified. Anyone would be.
But Straw Hat Luffy was apparently not your regular young pirate. And it wasn’t simply because of his impressive bounty.
“Do you really believe you will be able to take Sanji back?” Pedro asked after a moment.
Luffy peered up at him, that wide smile back on his face. “Now that we know he wants to keep adventuring with us? Not even Big Mom’s entire army can stop us.” His words were accompanied by laughter, so carefree that Pedro couldn’t help but smile back.
Something about Luffy’s words, his tone, his demeanour… was somehow able to put the mink at ease. Suddenly, he understood a little bit better why the kings of Mokomo Dukedom and the Kozuki clan put so much trust in him.
"Luffy! Look, it's an island made of nuts!!" Chopper shouted from the other side of the ship, quickly followed by rushed, tiny footsteps as the reindeer ran over to them.
Immediately, Luffy whipped around, his eyes going wide while they searched the horizon for the nutty wonderland. "Oh, I see it! That's so cool!!"
"Right?!" Chopper cried, looking so excited Pedro could swear there were sparks in his eyes. "I wanna go there!"
Luffy, however, shook his head, replying in a grave voice. "We can't, Chopper, we need to get Sanji back first."
"Luffy, are you going there? I'm going, too!" Carrot jumped over to grab onto Luffy's back while the man's arms stretched in preparation to haul himself over—his actions directly contradicting his words.
"Stop messing around! I said no!" Nami shouted suddenly, her icy glare making the three excited pirates freeze in their tracks. Hell, it made even Pedro fear for his life and he had nothing to do with any of this.
"We're sorry," the three said in unison, bowing deeply to the navigator, who only huffed in response, shaking her head at their antics.
Yet, Pedro couldn't help but notice the tiny, amused smile playing on her lips.
He was surprised to find himself chuckling, joining Brook when he started laughing and shamelessly poking fun at his captain and crewmate—only for Nami to then snap at the skeleton as well for not paying attention to the helm.
It was only when Nami was done staring them down that any of the Straw Hats or Carrot dared move. With the pressure gone, they let out a collective sigh of relief before Brook turned to back the helm while Chopper and Carrot collapsed on the floor, exchanging a look before bursting out in quiet laughter. On the other hand, Luffy stood up straight, putting his hands on his hips with a serious, almost scolding expression on his face.
“Alright you guys, no more slacking! We’re heading directly to Sanji!” he announced.
He barely finished before Nami’s voice yelled again from somewhere up in the garden, “Luffy! Who’s fault do you think—never mind,” she finished the last part in a much quieter, defeated tone and Pedro could just imagine the tired look in her eyes.
Luffy, however, only laughed loudly, putting his hat on his head securely before he propelled himself up to the helm, then immediately jumped forward again to land atop of the Thousand Sunny’s figurehead.
“Is he always—”
“Yes,” Brook and Chopper answered immediately before Pedro could even finish his question.
Shaking his head at the ridiculousness of the entire situation, Pedro turned to the front of the ship, taking in the sight of Luffy sitting on his ‘special seat'. He was barely moving, looking almost serene while he simply gazed at the horizon ahead—facing forward, always forward.
Pedro almost didn’t notice the other figure approaching until Trafalgar Law hauled himself up, making his way towards Luffy slowly, carefully as if not to startle him before he sat down behind him. The way the two of them settled into each other’s presence, with Law’s legs going around Luffy on either side, his arms slowly circling around Luffy’s waist to pull him closer, while the younger pirate only snickered and leaned back against Law’s chest… It was so intimate and felt so familiar that Pedro—
Pedro was only glad he couldn’t blush.
And he also couldn’t help but wonder how he hadn’t noticed anything over the past two weeks but in his defence… they had bigger issues to worry about like the acute threat of literal starvation.
Quickly turning away from the scene, he looked at the rest of the ship’s current crew, gesturing vaguely behind himself and in the general direction the two pirate captains were… cuddling. “Are they alwa—”
“Yes,” everyone else echoed immediately with a grave undertone that made Pedro think they had all witnessed something traumatising at one point or other because of the two.
Taking a deep breath, Pedro glanced over his shoulder one last time. Luffy was talking about something, waving his hands excitedly while Law was resting his chin on his shoulder.
Right now, the Thousand Sunny was surrounded by hundreds, thousands of enemies, sailing ahead on a narrow path that felt more like a minefield than a safe passage. As it stood, they could be attacked from whichever direction—another ship, the sky, the sea—before they even reached Whole Cake Island itself, nevermind getting Sanji back before the tea party.
They were running out of time and out of options while the stakes only got higher.
Yet, in the face of everything, these two were perfectly relaxed while still facing forward together, never looking back.
And if these were the people who were supposed to bring the dawn to the world, well…
Pedro could live with that.

I’m getting lowkey hyped about one piece again.
With the reveal of the newest D, I’m almost positive now that any country they’ve been that has a ponegliff is tied to the D clan, which in turn means the Shandorans, Wyper specifically, may also carry the D name. (you’ll have to read spoilers to see who the new D is, sorry.)
I really, really hope this is the case, because man I really miss the warriors of Shandora!! I wanna see them again. And I feel like, if this is in fact true, they’ll find a way to come back and fight with the other clans of D under Luffy to raise the flag of the new dawn unto the world.

Okay so like now I have to keep talking about this after that reblog because omg one piece is wild atm. Spoilers ahead. Proceed with caution.
Luffy is literally a god okay well not literally I guess but he basically has the spirit of a god living inside of him. Everybody fighting against kaidos army and everyone in Wano praying for a better life all at the same time, luffy could hear their prayers and he answered them by defeating Kaido like omfg. The world government doing their damnest throughout the whole anime to kill luffy because they knew what the gum gum fruit really was and they spent years trying to erase joyboys existence and now joyboy has returned like fffffuuuuck dude. After luffy awakened his fruit they were like fuck now we really gotta kill this guy so they can continue their corruption. At this point though luffy has a whole fleet and way too many people who love and support him that the government just can't win. Luffy has saved and liberated way too many islands the government failed to help. The government killing the entirety of Robin's island so there's no one living who can read ponegliffs and eventually find out about the 100 year gap in history. The government trying their hardest to bury that 100 year gap and made the world forget about joyboy. Them trying to capture the gum gum fruit and red haired Shanks just like im gonna steal that shit. And then luffy eating that fruit as a child just because he was hungry and it's the first food he saw. Like omg. I could rant and rave about it forever but I'll stop there lol.
