1964 Pontiac XP-833 Banshee Coupe.
Called Project XP-833, this concept was built by John DeLorean but never reached production. It was meant as a middle-model in-between Chevrolet’s Corvette and Camaro. Pontiac Banshee concept car on display at The Gathering at Rough Point during Audrain Concours Week. Only two drivable prototypes were ever built. Once called the Mustang Fighter by John DeLorean, the project was halted after GM bosses decided it would be a threat to the Corvette. Note the taillights are almost identical to the first generation Firebird.
