https://www.reuters.com/world/russia-tells-finland-it-will-respond-defence-pact-with-us-2023-12-19/
Russia tells Finland it will respond to defence pact with U.S.
Russia summoned Finland's ambassador on Tuesday to object to a new defence agreement granting the United States broad access to the vicinity of the new NATO member's long border with Russia, Moscow's foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
The ambassador was told Moscow would "not leave unanswered the buildup of NATO military potential on our border, which threatens the security of the Russian Federation, and would take the necessary measures to counter the aggressive decisions of Finland and its NATO allies," spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement.

In my experience, when a leader says
'Stop being so negative!'
What they mean is
'I'm not going to acknowledge there's a problem.'

This Speaks Volumes about #BloodyBiden’s Disqualifications, Ineptness, and others reasons that make the Dummy a Poor Leader that Never should’ve been allowed to Lead Legal, Illegally or questionable circumstances still being debated and challenged today. 🧐🙏🇺🇸#REBTD😇
It is also of poor character and excuse to differentiate or distance his family troubles from his political troubles because one the the Main Characteristics of a Good Leader is that of the Leadership Demonstrated at Home and as Christians, it’s Indispensable…🤩
This is the Very Reason Leaders that are Cheating Husbands or Abusive to wives or kids are Forced to Resign or Recalled or otherwise Removed from their Leadership position… 🤷‍♀️
In the Old and New Testament we see an implicit and explicit expectation of GOD🎚that fathers are to be Leaders of their household teaching and training their children as the protectors, the providers, and the disciplinarians, and intrinsically a pre-qualification of Church Leadership and I’d venture to say Leaders in ANY or EVERY Aspect or Facet of Life, without Disqualifying ANY Unmarried and or Childless Man GOD Calls, Anoints, Appoints, Sends, Promotes, etc… into Leadership positions in the Church, Companies, Organizations and nations… Which BTW, is the same Reason Satan Attacks us Men directly or indirectly (like he did through Eve in the Beginning and as he does now with deadbeat dads like Hunter or all the other Woke Leftist Liberal and Gender FOOLISHNESS) whereby Destroying What GOD Ordained as a Man, a Leader, a Husband, a Father, a Family 😱

Together
I’ve been angry,
Annoyed, pissed off,
And trying to ignore it.
I’ve done the upset,
The feelings of betrayal,
And it’s going nowhere.
My team is my own,
We work together daily,
And of course I’m distrustful.
It’s never been just for me,
Forever been for the team,
For how she’s affect us before.
But as a team we’re still together,
As a team beyond the shifting,
We’re still a team together.
So long as some of us know,
A few of us are sure of our tasks,
I think we’ll get through it,
A failed leader or not.
So yeah, I’m pissed off and annoyed,
But I’ve got my friends to work with,
And we’ll manage regardless.

Top Three Practices for IT Leadership to Bolster Today’s Teams
Every successful firm has a strong team of leaders who never fail to improve their organizations and strengthen their teams.
According to the 2021 Global Human Capital Trends: Special Report by Deloitte, over 60% of all organizations lack good leaders. This talent shortage may have a detrimental ripple impact throughout a firm: 37% of employees have quit their positions due to poor leadership.

Accept diversity of viewpoints
True cooperation necessitates an acceptance of differing points of view as well as the many methods in which individuals think, act, and invent. When the goal behind the activity is not properly harnessed, collaboration is merely an overused phrase.
Concoct collaborative objectives
Goals should be explicitly stated and defined from the start. It may take a little additional effort and preparation to get things perfect at the outset, but it pays off big time.
Restructure teams to break down the siloed work culture
Traditionally, teams have been divided into silos depending on their areas of competence. Back-end developers, for example, are cooped up with other back-end developers. Back-end development, for example, is not the only component of a product or solution. Those siloed teams must continually pause what they are doing to search down and communicate with other siloed teams in order to address the initiative’s whole lifecycle. Read More IT Leadership

"feanorians shouldn't be blamed for helcaraxe it wasn't their responsibility" BITES YOU BITES YOU BITES YOU
FINGOLFIN ISN'T ARAFINWE
FINGOLFIN CAN'T SIMPLY RETURN HE'S BASICALLY COVERED IN BLOOD
MAY I REMIND YOU THEY HAD AS MUCH PART IN STEALING THE BOATS AS THE FIRST HOUSE, IT WAS A GROUP EFFORT
NOLOFINWE BECAME A KINSLAYER FOR FEANOR, HIS KIDS BECAME KINSLAYERS FOR FEANOR'S KIN, HIS PEOPLE BECAME KINSLAYERS FOR FEANOR'S PEOPLE
they cut EVERYTHING off for feanorians, they burned all the bridges and all the ties, and they can't return because it wouldn't be an act of repentance
And they can't trust the Valar!!! Mandos literally doomed them a week ago!!! What will Valar do with a host of a murderous kin? Will they judge "blood for blood", will they doom them to another exile?? Who knows!!!!!
Feanor left them at the mercy of the Valar he so greatly distrusts. He spit them in the face for all their efforts, he blatantly dismissed their sacrifice. Fingolfin's people want to see Middle-Earth, they are swayed by Feanor's speeches and by his promises, OF COURSE they march through Helcaraxe instead of returning to the beings in power whom they don't trust!!
(also, if you want to blame anyone for Helcaraxe who isn't feanor so much - finrod is LITERALLY right there. poor little meow meow with no blood on his hands who's father choose to return but who leads his people through the cold and deadly path nonetheless)

“ There’s a kind of calling... “ “ Calling. “
I suppose the Matrix data flow was too overwhelming for our Archivist.
(Also if an eyestrain warning needs to be added, please tell me and I’ll add it as a title. I’m still getting used to what does and doesn’t count after coming from Instagram’s content warning rules)

House Speaker "MAGA Mike" Johnson is making a pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago to ceremonially kiss Donald Trump's butt. This is another example of how the Republican Party is now nothing more than a cult which worships the Orange One.
Johnson is hoping that his record on election denial will impress Trump and will encourage the latter to support Johnson against Marjorie Taylor Greene's challenge to his leadership.
Of course Trump demands total loyalty from everybody but gives it to nobody. Ask Kevin McCarthy if you don't believe me.

There are very few characters who emphasise the inherent horror of teenage heroes like Grant. Created with powers he didn't ask for, powers he didn't really know how to control, and forced into superheroics because he didn't have any other choice.
And because of this expectation the world has of him, he can't really leave once he's there. He comes back, and he comes back again, and he ends up scarred for life, physically and emotionally.
Grant Emerson, you deserve the world, and you will always be famous.

Some Revenge timeline headcanons. (Posted this on a discord but throwing it like a piece of cheese over here as well)
(CW for the Betrayed/Revenge route, betrayal of friendship, and canon deaths being mentioned)
After Henry explained his side of things and found Reginald a certain doctor that dealt with life saving cybernetics for Right, Reg and Henry actually became pretty good friends before that night at the Wall.
Reginald even gave Henry a good luck charm he always had, a silver necklace with a gold rose pendant that Henry had eventually engraved the word frere on to.
While Henry wasn't the perfect leader for the Toppats, he was trying and listening to Reginald's advice.
Things were fine untill Henry was captured by the Wall and Reginald found himself back in charge for a few days.
The power got to Reginald's head and when Henry called to be rescued, his greed and want of Toppat leadership got the better of him, forgoing friendship for power and betraying Henry.
Henry doesn't handle the betrayal well, letting rage consume him as he flies to the Airship, everything transpiring were just people consumed by emotions and hurt.
Reginald's final line of "Well, was it worth it?" wasn't just aimed at Henry, but himself as well, asking if power over friendship was really worth it in the end.
And despite everything, the hurt and betrayal that Reginald caused, Henry still held on to that necklace, it being around his neck when the Government finds his body.

god its so so annoying when ppl talk abt what the best and most tolerant country is. like for tolerance you can measure what kind of protections are there on a state level to protect people's rights. you can look at how well those measures are upheld. there is also data abt general bigotry measured in various ways. but like how do you say "ok this is the most tolerant country"? like this is such a complex issue and there is a lot of latency. no country is better or worse than any other country. the leadership is always always going to be on some level evil and fucked up at least as long as we live in a capitalist system. every country in the world is beloved simply bc its somebody's home and everyday life. every country has good people in it. thats it.... like holy shit....

Quick thought: similarities between Hunter and Obi-Wan
Something that struck me after the season finale of TBB - I think Hunter shares some similar qualities with Obi-Wan in how they form attachments and how they lead others. SPOILERS BELOW:
Both of them are very stoic, stalwart leaders who keep many of their inner thoughts and turmoil to themselves. They love deeply but also keep a tight grip on their emotions, especially around others.
And they both are quite good at "handling" (bottling up, or at the very least not fully dealing with) loss—until it’s the person closest to them.
Obi-Wan lost Qui-Gon, lost Satine, lost Ahsoka…and he didn't break until he lost Anakin.
Hunter loses his home, loses Crosshair, loses Tech…but he doesn’t fully break until he loses Omega.
And I would argue they both have some blind spots that maybe could have been filled in by those around them, if they weren't so reticent to share their burdens with others. There might have been ways to help them not get to this point.
What do you all think? It will be interesting to see how Hunter channels this loss and what he's willing to do to get both Omega and hopefully Crosshair back going forward.
