Boats at the Port Authority of New South Wales on Sydney Harbour waiting for their assignments. Too early to be helping cruise liners who enter at a time to catch first light on the Bridge and Opera House.

Aprile, 1990.

Answer The Call provides financial assistance and support to families of NYPD, FDNY, PAPD and EMS Personnel killed in the line of duty.
I’m proud to be a part of such an amazing organization that helps the families of fallen hero’s. Immediately after the loss of a first responder, we provide each family with $50,000 to help alleviate some of the uncertainty such a tragedy can bring. That family then becomes part of a larger Benefit Fund family, and each widow or widower will receive an annual stipend for the remainder of his or her life or as long as they have the means to do so.
If you’d like to show your support or are interested in learning about the cause, please click the link.

(via On the bumpy bus ride of tracking myself down.) This was the day I realized that there was something very, very suspicious about how, where and to whom I was born. It began my lifelong quest to uncover some startling truths.

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth—they are born of God—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified]. ~ John 1:12-13
