Yes(?)? I think so? Er, I think I understand what you mean, Anon. Actually, I might as well take the time to explain this huh...

My Toon AU is basically the concept of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The Smiling Critters show is a show, with its actors being Toons (the Smiling Critters).

Toons are beings from another universe called the Tooniverse--a world parallel to ours, with a portal connected in Hollywood California. This is where all Toons come from! Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, etc. This includes ALL animated figures, even those from Japanese anime! There are specific terms that label these types of toons too, but that's something for a different post.

(There's also the Puppetverse, but that can also be a later discussion.)

Toons live harmoniously with humans, and many find jobs same as us. They're all integrated in! But most toons find jobs as actors in shows or movies.

In the case of the Smiling Critters, they were offered a position to help make the "Smiling Critters" children's show a reality, and they agreed. After fourteen long, but beloved seasons of filming, the Smiling Critters decided to take a short break before they continued onto Season 15.

This is when Playtime Co., a popular Toy Company, approached them about a new opportunity--to have a role in the upcoming Season 3 of "Poppy Playtime", the horror show that Playtime Co. had been releasing.

Intrigued by something new, they agreed to join and film for "Poppy Playtime", and here we are now, post-production!

Into, Above and Beyond! Cast: Mr. Needlemouse

“Am I a hedgehog or a rabbit? Who knows?! I just call myself Needle the Rabbit-Hog!”

Is he a hedgehog? Or perhaps a rabbit? I mean, who really knows? What I can say about Mr. Needlemouse here is that he inhabits a cartoon world of his own, sporting cartoonish physics even outside his land.

His usual routine is a mix of enjoying chilli dogs (the loss of one he had the burden of being his canon event) and fighting the villainous Dr. Beeman (think Robotnik's classic bee outfit, but also including bee's wings on his back), each time of which emerges victorious for the plucky hedgerabbit. Oh, yeah. He also faces foes like The Killer Six, Chomper Shark, Bomb-Bastic, Loonatic Hunter, and the Ferocious Fly.

After one of his tangles with Dr. Beeman, though, a portal appeared which dragged the rabbithog into the OMT dimension, where he met OMT!Tails and the members of the Blur Gang thus far at that point. From there, this guy's the one to serve as the comic relief for when things start to get a bit rough.

As such, he serves as the fifth major member of the Blur Gang starting from One More Hero. He does express several jerk-like qualities, and is like that just for the heck of it, but still pulls through for his true companions.

He even comes to rescue EX!Alice from harm and gives Surge a good beating, though due to the limits on his toon powers, he can absolutely humiliate his opponents, but if he wasn't limited, any attacks from him to a villain would prove fatal. Due to this, an anvil to the head just went and near-harmlessly buried half of Surge's body underground.

Before it was time for him to head back to his dimension at the end of One More Hero during the final fight, Mr. Needlemouse lent OMT!Tails his signature hammer to make use of, and due to its hyperspace properties, he could always fit it in his pocket (or equivalent of). He made a grand exit by proclaiming "That's all, folks!", leaving CR!Sonic a bit confused, citing "Wait, can he legally quote that?".

Though he doesn't actively partake in More than One Universe's events, he does return for Into the Sonic-verse and Many More Heroes (the AU's version of Across the Spider-Verse), with the Blur Gang fully formed in time for this new batch of chaos.

Even then, he remains the main guy for comedy around this AU, and nothin' can change that! Prior to Many More Heroes, he also had a good laugh making an absolute fool out of Errorverse Eggman and his SSSSS Squad, being an absolutely-hilarious prick about it and causing them trouble just for the heck of it. It's to the point that the three dumbots were mainly assigned to catch Mr. NM whilst Metal and Sage paid more attention to EV!Sonic and Nitro. NM still has a good heart under all his troublemaking, of course. Don't worry.

That's also where he's technically a foil for AOSTH!Sonic, the original cartoon iteration of the blue blur; whilst they're both cartoons, AOSTH!Sonic is firmly heroic, whilst Mr. NM is a straight-up prick to a lot of people. The two initially got along marvelously due to being toons, though AOSTH!Sonic began losing his trust in the rabbit-hog when discovering his jerk act, especially when Mr. NM shrugged off the former recalling his angst and sarcastically remarking that it's a miracle he's even got a friend to be with.

And Mr. NM's reason for joining the Quill Society part-time?

"Am I a useless asset? Sure! Heroic qualities? None. But I'm loyal if you feed me, and I'll never leave you because... well, I need the food."

As one of the scene posts shows, in Many More Heroes, he made a small bet with Mini Sonic as to whether or not OMT!Tails would get back from his scuffle with Crimtake in one piece. Of course, he did, so the rabbit-hog owed the miniature hedgehog 100 rings.

Bet you're glad I didn't say he had a cannon event

The AU takes place in the Toon Turf universe.

In the AU, the characters in Toonville slowly discover that there’s actually demons living in Toonville, and that they have been opening and closing portals to Hell, where they’re coming from

This AU features all my Toon Turf OC’s and their lore, and some changes as well

AND… I have a new Toon Turf OC I’ll show tomorrow… I’ll give you a hint: She’s a goth girl. 🤫

And if you want, you can add your own twist to The Sins of Toonville. Just note that I’ll most likely not make it canon unless I really like it.

I couldn’t decide which so I flipped a coin and Up in Arms is what won! So here you go, hehe

Mask goes first, letting himself be hugged for once as he tries to sneakily wipe away a couple tears that leak out his eyes. He squeezes Link in a death grip, then quickly goes through the portal Lana provides, almost like if the faster he leaves the better it will be for everyone.

Toon is next, and when he gets ready to leave back through his own portal, he throws his arms around Link, giving him an extra hug before he goes.

“It gets better captain, I promise,” he whispers. “I promise. Don’t give up hope, okay?”

Link closes his eyes and hugs him back beforing whispering a quiet “I’ll try.”

Toon releases him and gives him a smile that’s incredibly warm despite his teary eyes, and Link returns it, the expression more genuine then anything else he’s made in the past several weeks.

And then Toon is gone.

Where is this toon world? Is it inside the inkwell? Can humans visit it?

Well I've only hinted that there is one (tho it might have been just on Twitter, I can't remember)

The toons would try to protect their human from the pulse.

I'd judge that toon Ingo would have a better time resisting than toon Emmet, however toon Emmet is known to defy physics physically so both have a chance.

No, toon world does not exist in the inkwell

Toon world is an artificial growing reality, it has existed, or created for that matter, for centuries along side humankinds attempt to open portals or contact the unknown.

Usually all surviving toons make their way there eventually, how to get there is different for each toon.

Humans can enter using the pen but it's not exactly safe for them.

Toon world to human world is regulated via special permissions.

Okay I have a neat au idea for Fnaf, Bendy and the ink machine/dark revival, Undertale and Cuphead featuring 3 ocs as the main characters. the au is called the Power of the Soul. The plot would basically be like multiple stories mixed into one, through multiple events that connects them.

Alex Afton - The co owner of the fazbear entertainment, he tried to get his family company back and tries to shut it down after finding a dark secret about it, but become the co-owner with little to no power to shut it down, so he tries his best to make the company as safe as can be as well taking night guard duties at places that are very dangerous. He also found Glamrock Freddy and Georgie and take them in and studies Freddy to create a special fire wall after finding out he was able to fight the Afton Virus aka Glitchtrap.

Jackson Drew - The new guardian of the ink machine, and to make sure to prevent the machine to be used by others, he made the portal to the Joey’s toon world into a special tape and camera so no one can use it for personal gain

Max Inkwell - A boy who inherited a book his many great grandpa made, which contained the devil in as well a world of characters that his many great grandfather created to help to keep the devil in the book

Frisk and Chara - Basically they follow all three timelines and was a victim of the Afton Virus as a kid, hence the genocide route happening, but was cured thanks to Chara, a spirit that bounded to Frisk’s Soul. Frisk is non-binary, while Chara is female. And thanks to their determination they got of the loop but now they are trying to find a way to break the deal that keep the monster trapped in the underground

How they connect is through how the soul works as just like in undertale they come in different colors with each having their own powers, as well as many other things, like being able to bring things to life which makes the animantronic from fnaf similar to Mettaton, as well as being able to pass their memories like in (Batim/Batdr). But very powerful souls can even reset a time loop area but can only be triggered through a certain event like in both (Batim/Batdr) and Undertale. As well have certain events be connected like Frisk being a victim of the Glitchtrap which give a reason why Frisk did a genocide route, Joey Drew learning from the Inkwell Family or a member of it that went through a name changed or through his mom being a Inkwell hence why Joey was able to make a toon world of his own.

What do you mean "left the gang?" Why did Boris leave?

I think it's time for a backstory of everything! (I shoulda started with that...😅)

The gang was in the show biz as a group preforming for the children. Then Henry left, leaving them heart broken. Joey was so mad he decided to "upgrade" the toons. He planned on making them, "puppets." Tools to control. He started with Boris. He killed him and took out his heart, his soul so to say. Bendy caught him after he killed him and questioned him. (More like swearing at Joey and yelling/asking him why did he do that.) Alice was turned into twisted alice, as an experiment, boris never came back to life, and Bendy was chained to the ground on a pentagram, (which weakened him) while Joey planned to kill him because he knew to much. Joey put him on that stand thing (I don't know what it's called. The thing boris was on when you seen the dead one) and strapped him to it. He started to disembowel him, when Bendy broke free. The ink machine started and he became ink Bendy. The killed Joey. But, little did he know that Joey sent Henry a letter to come back and see how he's "improved" the toons. One gameplay later. Bendy went back to toon bendy and he, allison (known as alice in my au), tom (known as boris in my au), the gang, and henry left that hellscape. But before they could leave, the Studio caught fire and started to collapse and Bendy got trapped under falling floor boards. He passed out and Boris saved him. They want to a place called, the place of all toons. Bendy was in the hospital for a week or so. After he woke up, he lost all his memories of what happened. They made friends with many toons there. There were other places near by a well. (The void, many different toon towns, the portal to all worlds) They met many AUs, ATs, fanfics, etc. They also decided to restart their old show biz. But, after a while, Boris got bored and left the show. He went to join a more popular show. Their show got boring without him. The humor of boris just being so nonchalant while everything else went on, was gone. After a while, they couldn't buy things anymore, so bendy had to start stealing. Alice didn't like it, but it was their only option. Henry passed away about a year after this time in the studio, and the from trauma from it. So they had no one to turn to. They hid in alleyways, under bridges, hotels when they could afford it, anywhere they could. Then the whole cuphead game later. A year later from Cuphead's gambling mistake, Bendy decided to gamble. He get money. But not enough. One day, he decided to steal from the devil. What he stole will be later revealed. The devil sent hellhounds on him. And then there's the first dub on my blog. I need some questions for bendy, so, ask questions for all the characters, and you can add your ocs. But, that's the story. As far as I know. I need help with the lore. * yells faintly * will anyone help with the lore? But yeah, I will possibly put up the characters and their traits and all that. Possibly. It's long, but, it's what I have at the moment for lore so, yeah.😅 see ya! Peace!✌️

Any ideas for Collector in your au's? Like what would they be for mer au or Hollow Time au or Portal au? Also, have you read A Hat In Hallownest by MonsterMonsoon?

WAIT THEY WERE THE ONE WHO WROTE THAT? HUH. I haven’t read it but EVERYONE references it in the comments of my fic called “Subcon’s Flames.” I hadn’t even heard of it till then, I just wanted to combine two of my favorite games.

Anyway in the underwater au I think they should be the long axolotl thing. I know I saw a post about it somewhere. The Olm? I don’t think it’s a saltwater creature, but that’s okay because it adds to the weirdness of the void creatures. That they shouldn’t be there, yet they are.

For the Hollow Time au I’m not sure yet.

Portal AU, I don’t know either. Only a couple characters made it into the Portal AU.

In the newest au, the toon au, they would be a discarded experiment made of ink, yet they still keep living!
