portwell headcanons: 'movie night'

movie night

gina has been living at the caswells’ for some time and ash has noticed that on thursday nights she gets particularly quiet and tends to disappear into her room. even at dinner, she becomes rather subdued rather than leaning into the more comfortable and open self that has emerged overtime

every time ashlyn tries to bring it up, gina brushes it off and says she’s fine even though she clearly isn’t

ashlyn points it out to ej when he’s over one thursday night and gets him on the case of finding out what’s going on because she clearly won’t talk to ashlyn, but she might talk to ej. ashlyn’s noticed that gina has a habit of opening up to ej when she won’t open up to anyone else

one wednesday evening ej & gina are just chatting on the sofa - ej is spending even more time at the caswell home this week because his parents are off on some business trip (again) and he’d rather not sit alone in an empty house

ej tries to ask subtly if gina and ashlyn would want to go for ice cream after dinner the next day or if she might…not be feeling up to it. ej is honestly pretty bad at even an approximation of subtlety so of course gina knows exactly what he’s talking about (and has a sneaky suspicion that ashlyn has put him up this)

but he’s looking at her with these big green puppy dog eyes and he’s trying so hard and she might even daresay he cares. so she can’t help but take pity on him and tell him the truth

she reveals that thursday nights were always movie night for her and her mom. no matter how busy they were, they would find time on thursday nights to sit down and watch a film, any film. she and her mom have tried to keep the tradition going even with the distance between them, but since she no longer has to take care of gina at home, her mom has starting working more and more nights so it’s hard for them even to talk on thursday evenings (but gina still tries every week). she tells ej with a crack in her voice that she just really misses her mom

ej immediately declares that there is no good reason why thursdays shouldn’t still be movie night. the caswells have a tv, right? and an account with any good streaming service? why shouldn’t the tradition live on?

he’s so earnest and determined that she decides she’ll humour him, even just for a single week

thursday approaches and she discovers the caswells have gone All Out. she already knew they didn't do anything by halves but this is beyond even what she expected. there are fairy lights strung behind the tv, five different flavours of popcorn, seven different types of chocolate, jugs of drinks set out on the coffee table with fancy glasses, blackout curtains, and ej informs her that pizza is on its way and ice cream is in the fridge. she doesn’t even know where they found the time to set all this up or how it passed her by, but she does know she couldn't be more grateful to them for this

they let gina pick the film so she goes safe with harry potter, something she’s loved for her whole life. she quickly discovers what ej and ashlyn are like when watching films. ej snacks a LOT, while ashlyn goes more for the drinks (and then to the bathroom). ashlyn chimes in with random trivia facts, while ej is an incorrigible fidget

when the film finishes they both look at her with hopeful eyes and the truth is it’s one of her favourite movie nights. ever

movie nights become a tradition for the caswells too, a sacred one that they can only skip if it’s an Absolute Emergency. they alternate who gets to choose the film - gina finds that ej’s choices tend to volley between marvel films (in order, obviously), noughties classics and sports films, both sport-centric and involving sport in some form (see: moneyball, a league of their own, space jam, 17 again, million dollar baby, bend it like beckham, the rocky franchise, etc). ashlyn sways more towards independent films gina can’t even pronounce, let alone has ever heard of, historical dramas, studio ghibli films and romances, of course (although ej is self-confessedly quite the sucker for romcoms too)

thursdays go from her least favourite day of the week to the highlight. turns out as much as she misses her mother, movie nights with the caswells are the remedy she didn’t know she needed, and this way, the tradition gets to live on

bonus:

one week, gina’s mother comes to visit. gina makes sure she’s able to attend a movie night, just so she can experience, in all its glory, the revamped tradition gina raves about so often. she loves it, and loves even more how much the caswells care about her daughter.

it’s the caswell curse ; platonic!ej caswell

summary: when your mom dumps you off at camp shallow lake, you make new friends and ej takes the opportunity to make up for the way he used to treat you

pairing: ej caswell x half sister!reader

word count: 1.6k

warnings: being excluded (except not really), no romance just making friends

note: gina and ej are still together (no rina), I used random names for the roommates so imagine them however you want. I’ve never been to theatre camp so everything is from the minimal about of research I’ve done, also i’m painfully bad at writing endings <3

You didn’t usually dread your birthday. It was usually a pretty good time, something you looked forward to but this year was a bit different because your mom had told, at the last minute, that you would be going to Camp Shallow Lake.

She claimed it was because she wanted you to have new experiences and meet new people but you knew that the only reason she wanted you there was so she could go away with her new boyfriend.

“Have fun, sweetie,” She waved out of the car window, “I’ll be back to pick you up in six weeks, try and make some friends, would you?”

You didn’t have time to respond or to wave goodbye before she was turning around and driving off.

Mother of the Year.

Sighing to yourself, you turned around and faced the entrance of the camp - Camp Shallow Lake - your step-brother, EJ, had been going for years and you had finally given in to your parents’ suggestion of going rather than, in their words, rotting away in your bedroom all summer.

You’re not sure why they thought being around EJ of all people would make you feel better. He was ‘too cool’ to have a little sister follow him around all summer. You remembered when you had stayed with EJ and your dad for a few weeks and they had made it abundantly clear that you weren’t wanted so, from then on, you stayed away.

You looked down at your hands to see them shaking and your breath came out ragged. You didn’t get the chance to plan your escape route because EJ was jogging down the path with open arms and a wide grin on his face.

“Y/N!” He exclaimed and picked up your suitcase, “I’m glad you decided to come, I promise that you’re going to love it here.”

You paused in surprise, the EJ you had come to know would’ve wanted you to stay as far possible from him so as to not risk his precious reputation.

EJ had noticed your silence and the surprise plastered across your face and sighed to himself. He knew he wasn’t the best brother to you but he was going to take advantage of your presence for the next six weeks to try and make up for the lousy way he treated you.

He turned to fully face you, “I’m sorry,” He said, “I was an ass back then but I’ve changed.”

“I’ll believe that when I see it,” You scoffed, and tore your suitcase from his hands, marching towards the office.

Val, who you had been introduced to at the office, opened the door to, what would be, your cabin for the next six weeks.

“Guys,” She smiled at the other girls that were already settled in, “This is Y/N, it’s her first time so make her feel welcome.”

The door shut behind you and you tightened your grip on your suitcase. There was nothing necessarily bad about sharing a cabin with four other people but you slipped right into overthinking mode. What if I snore? What if they don’t like me? What if they talk about me behind my back? Oh not, they’re going to hate me.

Your spiralling was interrupted by one of the girls stepping forward and introducing herself, “I’m Brielle, it’s nice to meet you.” She seems nice enough but you never know.

She stood beside you and linked your arm with yours, pointing out the others, “This is Veronica, Isabella, and Abiola, it’s their first time too, it’s only my second year coming here so I’m basically a newbie too.”

You smiled and nodded, “Thanks.”

“You’ll be up there,” Abiola said, pointing to the top bunk of the bed she was sitting on, “But we can swap if you want.”

“I’m good, I prefer to up high anyway,” You said.

Brielle took your suitcase when she noticed that you had loosened your grip on it and rolled it over to the end of the bed, “The left side of this wardrobe is yours but one of the girls cancelled last minute so the bed under mine is probably gonna be used for storage so feel free.”

“Sounds good,” You tried to sound as relaxed as possible but you still felt really anxious.

She smiled and climbed up the ladder on the bunk opposite, and you followed her lead. Veronica and Isabella had claimed the bunk on the far side of the room, Veronica was on the bottom bunk and Isabella was on the top.

“So, what kind of stuff do we do here?” You asked, immediately regretting it. Who doesn’t know what summer camps do? I should’ve googled it before I left.

Brielle lit up at the question and the other girls groaned, “Oh, now you’ve done it,” Abiola fell back onto the bed, laughing, “I told you we should’ve waited until the last girl got here, Bri.”

Veronica saw your look of confusion and explained, “Brielle’s basically gone through the Camp Shallow Lake Itinerary for all of us when we arrived so she has it memorised.”

“Well, there’s the average summer camp stuff like regular sports and watersports, but the biggest thing is that there are classes on acting and singing and dancing and everything; then at the end of the summer, there’s a big musical that we put on for parents and families when they come to pick us up at the end.”

The idea of being on a stage in front of people was nerve-wracking and Brielle could see so she continued, “But you don’t have to take part in the musical, it’s completely optional but you could work on lighting and sound if you wanted; plus, one of the junior counsellors have introduced confidence-building workshops to help with stage fright and stuff like that.”

“They’ve got a whole sheet that covers it better than I can on the notice board by the office, come on,” Brielle jumped down and gestured for the rest of you to follow her. Abiola and Veronica rolled their eyes fondly at her enthusiasm and Isabella trailed behind with you, her head stuck in her book and she spared the odd smile when you glanced at her.

Three weeks had passed and you had ended up enjoying being at Camp.

Brielle had calmed down a bit but she had been given the lead for the musical which had ramped her back up. Abiola was killing it at dance and kept trying to get you to join. You couldn’t pull Veronica away from the ‘Radio and Music Production’ classes for the life of you, and Isabella was a dark horse when it came to singing, no one had expected her to be able to belt out numbers as well as she did.

You went to a few of the confidence-building workshops and realised that as long as you had people you trusted and could rely on, being on stage didn’t sound too bad so when you auditioned on a whim and ended up being cast as one of the minor characters, you were pleasantly surprised.

Yet, there was still some part of you that felt like it wasn’t real, that Brielle, Abiola, Veronica, and Isabella weren’t actually your friends, that they were pretending.

You didn’t want your anxious thoughts to ruin the campfire tonight but they had started to slowly creep up on you throughout the day until you were surrounded by some of the best friends you’d made but you still felt completely alone.

Everyone was so entranced by Maddox’s scary story that no one noticed you slip out of the crowd and back to your cabin.

No one except EJ.

EJ looked around and frowned when he couldn’t see you. His disappointment was clear to anyone that looked at him so Gina softly elbowed him, “EJ? What are you glaring at?”

“She’s not here,” He sighed, “Y/N’s not here anymore.”

“Maybe she got tired.”

“I don’t know.”

Gina turned in his arms, “She’s probably in her cabin, go talk to her.”

“Gi-”

“You said you wanted to do better, this is your chance, go.”

“When you’re right, you’re right,” He nodded and stood up, dusted off his shorts and headed towards your cabin.

He opened to door to your cabin and it only took him a few seconds to realise that you were having a panic attack. The tell-tale signs of ragged breathing and shaking were clear for him to see.

He came to kneel on the floor in front of you, pulling your hands into his and asked you to focus on him, “Y/N? Can you hear me?”

You nodded.

“Okay, I need you to take some deep breaths for me, do you think you can do that?”

You nodded again.

“Breathe in for four seconds, I’ll do it with you, now hold it for seven, that’s it, and breathe out for eight seconds…there you go.”

He repeated the instructions a few more times until he could visibly see you begin to calm down.

“Thanks,” You mumbled and he didn’t say anything, he knew that you needed to compose yourself first, “How did you know?”

EJ sighed and manoeuvred so that he was sitting on the floor, “I started getting them at the beginning of the year. A bunch of stuff happened in school at the end of last year and I started spiralling and feeling like nothing I did was-”

“Good enough,” You finished for him.

“It’s the Caswell Curse, I’m afraid,” He joked and you laughed with him.

You knew that this one moment wasn’t going to be a quick fix for the feelings of unwantedness that he had caused but it was a good start.

Maybe one day you’d say “that’s EJ Caswell, my brother” with pride in your voice but for now, you settled on “that’s EJ, he helped me” and that was good enough.

1. they are marvel nerds. like not just movies and shows, comics, merch EVERYTHING!!

2. risotto date nights are a staple. sometimes it’s a fancy resto, sometimes it’s them cooking in the kitchen together, sometimes it’s the quick instant microwave one over a rerun of the avengers movies

3. ej goes to nyu tisch for film school and gina goes to juilliard for dance — after a year of dating, they move in together <33

4. they have a pet cat/rabbit in their nyu apartment but when they become successful they move upstate ny and live in a larger house w many dogs (huskies, golden retrievers and labs hehe)

5. ashlyn’s gina’s maid of honor for her wedding and carlos is ej’s. seblos, kourtney and ashlyn move to new york upon their uni graduation too! they invite jenzzarra to their wedding bc DUH!

6. they are swifties - ej’s fav album is lover and gina’s is a tie between midnights and 1989

7. ej and her go on many road trips. they rather take a road trip together than fly anywhere interstate.

8. ej leaves her lovely messages on sticky notes on her vanity table.

9. ej wears a chain with gina’s initials on it (swifties IYKYK)

10. every time they’re out with friends they have a ‘look’ to signify the other person that they’re tired/wants to go home

11. ej still sneaks in granola bars in her purse with a silly note on them (especially when there’s something major going on at work)

12. they both bring the other person flowers after a long day of not seeing each other

13. regarding no. 9, gina’s wedding gift for ej is a ‘c’ pendant :)))

14. their imessages is full of snaps of things that remind them of each other throughout the day.

15. gina teaches ej to dance. they sign up to do a 12-week salsa class once in their college years. ej was so bad at it the instructor advised them not to come back and refunded all their future classes.

16. they watch broadway plays together (ashlyn becomes a broadway star and they always come to her shows)!

17. their first kiss is in new york on new year’s day

set after episode 7, directors room

Ricky walks into the directors room looking for EJ.

“Oh there you are Elton, Val is looking for you she needs to check off the “In Summer” choreo.”

Ricky gets no response from EJ, so he moves closer to him. “Hey? You good? Whats…” He notices EJ has tears stained on his cheeks and his voice shifts to a softer tone, “EJ... whats wrong?” Ricky sits next to EJ putting an arm on his shoulder as EJ wipes away his tears.

“Gina broke up with me tonight” he says without making eye contact with Ricky.

Ricky looks at him speechless. He knew that Gina and EJ were kinda tense throughout the night but he had no idea it went this far. “Oh. EJ, I…”

Ricky is cut off as EJ starts to ramble anxiously, “I’m just stupid! I’m so stupid for thinking that I could be good enough for her.”

“No EJ don’t say that”

“No it’s true!” EJ makes eye contact with Ricky before continuing, “first Nini, now Gina! I’m just, a horrible person…I’m not- I’m not worth it” he concludes feeling extremely defeated.

Ricky looks at him upset, with a pang of guilt as he realizes that he unintentionally ruined two of EJ’s most treasured relationships.

EJ looks down at his feet, smiling wryly, “I mean, I’m such a failure that I’m not even good enough for my own father to say that he’s,” he stops for a moment staring at the wall blankly, “that he’s proud of me.”

A moment of silence passes until Ricky speaks up, unable to see EJ in such a weak and vulnerable position. He’s almost shocked to see the graduate so insecure of himself. Maybe he’s not as perfect as he seems to be?

Ricky turns to face EJ. “No you know what, that is absolutely not true you are not a failure EJ, you are so worth it, you are worth so much more than you know. and you know what? If your dad and Gina can’t see that then it’s their loss, because you are so incredible EJ.” EJ looks at him through his teary eyes as Ricky rambles on with a distant smile on his face. “I mean you’re talented, you’re kind and smart, and if I’m not wrong you were voted most likely to become a hollister model” he chuckles and EJ scoffs with a smile. “I see it, Maddox sees it, Val sees it! you’re the one who can’t see it.”

“Ricky you’re just saying that”

Ricky looks at him seriously, “I’m not! and EJ you don’t need someone else to prove that you’re worth it. I get it trust me, we all need validation. But EJ, you need to believe you are worth it. and as for Gina” Ricky sighs, “if you guys really are meant to be, she will come back to you. But EJ, maybe you just need to let her go first?”

“Yeah, i guess you’re right” EJ smiles back sadly.

Ricky smirks proudly to lighten up the mood, “when am i not?”

EJ punches his arm lightly as the two laugh quietly.

“Hey, it’s kind of like in frozen when Kristoff lets Anna go to Hans and when she realizes she loves Kristoff she comes back to him!” Ricky suddenly realizes, making a perfect analogy to EJ and Gina’s relationship. However, EJ doesn’t register this, choosing to focus on the fact that for once, Ricky actually got the plot of Frozen right. EJ looks at Ricky stunned, turning his body to face him.

“You- you actually know the script?” he asks.

Ricky blinks, “I mean, you did tell me to study it,” he replies referring to a couple hours ago at the camp prom.

“And you did??”

“Yeah…?”

“I- wow… thanks Ricky”

“No, thank you. You’re the reason we’re not gonna make a fool of ourselves on national television tomorrow. You might not think so but, I do appreciate you EJ.”

Ricky stands up and walks out, giving EJ a small smile and leaving him feeling a little more confident in himself than before.

i always pictured ricky and ej having some sort of heart-to-heart conversation in s3 after they’ve finally put their differences aside. this headcanon is where i imagine ricky discovering his sexuality for the first time after realizing he’s some what attracted to ej? and where ej realizes that ricky’s not that petty junior he was at the beginning of the school year and they can actually be friends. and it kinda leaves things open ended for portwell, rina, and caswen which they could’ve explored in season 4🤪

We could have just had EJ and Gina have a memorable summer like they wanted,Ricky finding a girl,or taking a break from relationships.How?Just like this.

After the ballad,Dewey talks to Corbin and Channing.They leave camp leaving Dewey worried.He decides to give directing a shot,since he wanted to try something new this summer.Ej listens and while Dewey looks at the ground insecurely,EJ says,

'We believe in you,Mr.Wood.'

'I haven't done anything like this,eej.You never know.'

'But hey,it's worth the risk?'

He smiles at him and adds 'Im doing this just for you son.'

'For me?'

'I saw how in love you are with that girl.You deserve a shot after all the summers you have spent here.'

'Thank you.'

'Dont need to thank me,Caswell.'He says, walking away leaving EJ smiling widely, thinking about the fun he and Gina would have at camp.

**moments later**

'Who said anyone would?'

**Ricky barges in and I think we know what happens next.**

When they are at the tree,EJ stops Gina and they talk.

'Ej I don't want you having the need to keep stuff from me.'Gina said crossing her arms.

EJ pulled her arms apart gently and held her hands.'Gina,listen to me,I didn't wanna hurt you.You were so excited and happy to be neighbors and I didn't wanna ruin that for you.I should have told you,I just didn't want to hurt you.Iove you too much to let you down.'He said sadly.

'Ok,I'm gonna have to stop you right there Love me?EJ you love me?'She asked wide-eyed.

'Of course I do.You don't?'He started to lose hope.

'I do,I just didn't think u felt the same way.'

'Gina I have known ever since I picked you up from the airport.'He smiled at the memory.

Gina remembered how surprised she was.'Lets go backs inside,k?'

'Sure.'

**They walk back to the barn**

Part 2 tmmrw because it's 5:56 Am and I have to go to wake up at 6:00 for school.I have gotten no sleep at all.Send help.

Antes da temporada começar eu ficava pensando que se a Gina e o EJ terminassem eu ao menos queria que eles tivessem um beijo chorando, uma coisa bem dramática, mas claro que eu sabia que isso não iria acontecer nessa série até porque a gente sabe que não é assim que funciona com eles.

Mas no final do episódio teve sim um beijo e alguém estava chorando. Eu, era eu quem estava chorando, se bem que eu passei o episódio inteiro chorando. Mas a questão é teve sim um beij com choro, só não como eu imaginei.

Gender Headcanon: Cis guy

A ship I have with said character: Portwell. Listen, as much as I love Rina, I MISS PORTWELL.

A BROTP I have with said character: EJ and Ricky. I understand why people ship them, but personally I love the brother dynamic wayyyy too much to ship it myself.

A NOTP I have with said character: EJ and Nini. I think if they were to ever get back together in the future, it would be much better. But unfortunately, they were dating in Season 1, and he was kind of a dick back then.

A random headcanon: Danny Zuko is his favorite role he’s ever played.

General Opinion over said character: I didn’t like him very much during Season 1, like I said he was kind of a dick, but he had such good character development and I love him so much now. Also he deserves so much better.

the thing i still don't understand, even after months of portwell being done, is why would they convince us they're in love? from s2 and EJ's "learning to love after Belle" line, it seemed like the writing was working towards a love confession.

countless times on s3 we were also convinced they were in love. Sofia describing Gina this season as literally "in love", Gina's excitement after EJ just barely said the word, EJ's words about Gina being in love with him when Ricky slaps him, and many more examples. These are off the top of my head, but i wasn't imagining or headcanoning them as being in love. They were canonically in love, and it was shown several times and foreshadowed through the show.

Why would they build up a love plot between them so much just for it to crumble at the end? For the writers to say "oh actually nevermind, gina's one true love has always been ricky".

It truly shows how that finale was only made for the shock factor because if you put it in context with the rest of the season, or even the show, it makes no logical sense.

I saw someone say that Matt said EJ messes up every relationship he is in and they think that means Rina is the endgame. I personally haven’t seen Matt say that before in any interview I have seen or read. I think what Matt means is that in the past EJ messed up every relationship he was in and now he is just trying to get things right with his relationship with Gina by being the best boyfriend he can be. EJ has mentioned he has dated several girls before Nini in 1x02 to Ashlyn. 1/2

I don’t know what EJ’s relationships were like with his exes except for Nini my guess is his other relationships didn’t last for very long. I don’t think EJ is going to mess things with Gina on purpose if anything I think Val will most likely give EJ some relationship advice on Gina and help him out with his relationship problems. I am not sure where that R*na shipper heard Matt said that EJ messes up every relationship he is in because I never heard him say that before. 2/2

Pretty sure you sent me this well over a week ago, so sorry for the late response anon! I'm trying to clear up my inbox this week. For anyone needing some context, this was never an official interview that Matt gave or anything like that. Some fans met him and live streamed it. No idea where the video is now, but I did see it on Instagram last week, and this is exactly what happens: One of the fans yells out she thinks that "EJ is gay," and Matt responds with "well he messes up every relationship he's in" and then everyone laughs. It just means that he's probably supportive of whatever headcanons the fans have for the show. Shippers can take that response however they want, even if they want to claim endgame.

BTW, I agree with pretty much everything you said anon! Tho you sent me this a while ago, we can already see Val trying to help Portwell communicate with each other in 3.04. I think she'll continue to be a really good friend to EJ and encourage him to talk to Gina about the problems in his life.

Birthday Goodness Request

Hola tumblr friends!

It's almost my birthday (this Friday, November 4th - eek!) and last year I really needed a pick-me-up and put out a request for Portwell goodness that got so many lovely responses, it was overwhelming in the most wonderful way.

This year, I could certainly use a bit of happiness as I'm spending the day before my birthday at funeral services for a dear, dear friend that passed away extremely suddenly. So I thought I'd put out another request for some birthday goodness.

Put most simply, I would just love any suggestions or creations to put a smile on my face this birthday and give me a little serotonin. It's much needed.

Unlike last year I don't know that Portwell would bring a ton of happiness? I'm still in a place with canon that is a bit fragile and complicated. Some part of all of it still feels ruined and I'm continuing to work through that. Up to S2 I'm ok about mostly. S3 I'd like to erase from memory and replace with headcanon lol.

AU Portwell is wonderful though. Then Somebody Bends Unexpectedly by the incomparable @lovelyserpentines remains flawless. Everything from @aroundthewaygirlao3 is an absolute treasure.

So my request this year is two-fold...

First: anything to do with any of my favorites, whether new or recommendations. I really do love laughing. Secondly: I would love for those with similar interests to share some of THEIR favorite things. Whether it's videos, fics, artwork, a book, movie, tv show, song, album, character, or couple you love that I may too.

My current OTP is Gallavich! (Ian and Mickey from the show “Shameless” !)

A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind.

Sterek! (Stiles and Derek from “Teen Wolf” !) Watching the show the first time around, I was all about Stydia (Stiles and Lydia), and I still love them. On a few more watch throughs I took the advice of an online pal of mine, and definitely was surprised at how I couldn’t see the chemistry before! Love them.

A pairing you wish you shipped, but just can't.

Rina (Ricky and Gina from “HSMTMTS” !) I will learn to appreciate them over more time I believe, my Portwell ( EJ and Gina) Heart is just broken right now! ❤️‍🩹

What was the first thing you ever contributed to a fandom?

Not sure if this counts but probably a like on whatever fanfic I was reading on AO3 at the time!

Not yet! Just really getting into posting about my interests for the first time in here. I hope to one day be comfortable enough to maybe even share my writing!

What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom? What fandom was it?

Not sure how long it’s been, “Boy Meets World” holds a special place in my heart! Especially Corey and Topanga!

Sidemen I think, definitely way different to anything else I’ve listed here so far. 😂

Do you prefer real-life TV shows or animated TV shows?

Real life.

Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

Bughead. (Betty and Jughead from “Riverdale”) Not going to lie, I’ve always been a Barchie (Betty and Archie) from day one, but thought Bughead was cute, but the fan base for that ship is wayyy to toxic.

Name a fandom you didn’t care/think about until you saw it all over tumblr.

Outerbanks! I’m literally obsessed. I can’t thank the “For You” section enough for introducing me to that show.

How do you feel about the other people in your current fandom(s).

I love everyone I have interacted with so far, there is always gonna be a bad apple, but I think for the most part the fandoms I’m in seem great!

Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for?

I’ll give the PG version for now, let me know if you want the answer to the NSFW version. I am in love with both Friends to Lovers and Enemies to lovers. Honestly I could read thousands of fics all with either of those concepts!

A person who got you into a fandom and what fandom they pulled you in to.

My IRL friend got me into “Stranger Things” just this past year. I honestly don’t know why I had been avoiding watching it for so long, but I’m so glad I did!

Soap Operas, specifically Days of Our lives. If you’ve ever been on SOAP Twitter, you know the good drama that goes on with both fans and the actors. 😂
