8 Things You Need To Give Up
Give up excuses: Making up an explanation is the simplest method to get out of doing something. We all do it occasionally, such as saying things like, "I don't have time to join the gym because my day is too busy," or "I'm too old to start learning a new language right now." But if you choose to focus on your happiness, it's time to get off your backside! You can start anything new and fascinating at any age; it's never too late or too late to start.
Give up unresolved relationships: You cannot change someone else's past; everyone in the world has one. However, it's not as if you can't get over it and move on, is it? Romantic connections are typically a significant component of the past that is weighing us down. You must stop concentrating on the past and begin to consider the promising future that lies ahead of you if you want to make room in your life for happiness.
Give up stress: Stressing out is good for nothing; it doesn’t help in solving that certain problem bothering you, it decreases your productivity and it violates your health. The first step towards getting rid of stress once and for all is admitting you’re under it. It’s not that difficult after you confront this problem – you just need to find the perfect way to channel your thoughts, like meditation for example.
Give up bad habits: You can’t really enjoy life if you have troubles with any kind of addiction, and it really doesn’t matter what kind of addiction it is – cigarettes or drugs – because both of them have a negative effect on your success. Like with the previous one, bad habits too require from you to admit them first. Also, you shouldn’t hesitate from asking for help.
Give up hastily-made choices: You’re in no hurry. There’s enough time for everything, and nothing will pass you by if you stop and think for a second. Sure, it’s important to allow yourself to be spontaneous and crazy every now and then, but most of your decisions should have a clear process of thinking standing behind them.
Not taking responsibility for your actions: In any area of your life, what you do has consequences. Sometimes those are good. Other times you are left with regrets. Actions have results.
Your need to always be right: Some things you should give up to improve your life are: Your need to always be right. This can cause unnecessary conflicts and arguments.
Your excuses and blame game: Another thing that can hold us back is making excuses and playing the blame game. Taking responsibility for our actions and choices can help us move forward.

One of the most dangerous things in the world is not being able to say no to people because you don't want to upset them or dissapoint them. This will completely ruin your life in every way possible, at work, in your private life, your sex life and your friendships. It's a way of removing your own consent in your own decisions and go against your wishes, it is always a crime against yourself. Let yourself have a say. Upsetting people is better than traumatizing yourself.

March 27, what a shit show. Have you ever had a “year” where you just feel like anything that could go wrong will be going wrong? Cause that’s the bus that I am riding on currently. I’ve already had a death (a week before my birthday) of a loved one, news of a family member passing, work drama (because obviously 2024 wouldn’t be real without a wack version of the bachelor that you didn’t know you were even staring in), and a lot of other twists and turns I’d rather turn down and move on from. That being said, I’ve decided that I’m embracing “villain mode” and embracing be the bad bitch that I am and loving myself through the chapters. It's ok to want money. It's ok to be upset that you're poor and wishing to be rich. I understand. People who say that money doesn't buy happiness have never eaten pasta every day because it's 50 cents at the grocery store or been short on money for christmas presents. Constantly scraping by makes people miserable and depressed and of course you're gonna dream about money, about being happy and priviledged. That's not greedy or horrible, that's life. It's ok.

The positives of ‘putting yourself out there’ are worth it. Having a great conversation with a stranger will be worth the awkwardness of starting that exact conversation. Joining a small community of people you will see regularly is worth having to get through a scary first day. Getting your dream job is worth the scariness of chasing it. Don’t pick and choose experiences based on the level of ease now, but choose them based on how you want to come out of them.
