When does Cash App direct deposit get credited or hit your account?
Direct deposits to a Cash App account can be massively convenient, but the timing may sometimes seem unpredictable. While they typically appear in your account by 9 AM on payday, it’s good to know that this can vary based on several factors.
Tumblr media
This blog post will guide you through everything you need to know about when and how direct deposits hit your Cash App so that you’re never left guessing. Read on for all the need-to-know info about how cash app & direct deposit work together for maximum benefit!
How Does Direct Deposit Work With Cash App?
Direct deposit with Cash App is a seamless process that allows users to receive paychecks directly into their account. Users provide their employer with the necessary banking information provided by Cash App.
The employer processes payroll, sending your paycheck through an electronic fund transfer system straight to your Cash App account.
This process eliminates the need for paper checks and traditional bank accounts. It can take 1 to 5 business days for direct deposits to hit a Cash App account, depending on various factors such as the time zone, processing times, and potential technical issues.
Additionally, first-time users may experience slightly longer wait times for their initial direct deposit.
What Time Does Direct Deposit Hit Cash App?
Cash App processes direct deposits at different times throughout the day. The typical timeframe for Cash App to make these funds available is by 9 AM on the payment’s due date. However, this can fluctuate based on various factors.
For instance, technical problems or delays in transmitting data from employers to banks could cause a slight postponement.
Most users report that direct deposits hit their cash app between 11:30 am CST and 12:30 pm EST after initiation. It usually takes anywhere from one to five business days for these payments to show up in your account, depending largely on when your employer sends out the payroll instructions.
While it’s tempting to expect your money right away, patience may be necessary with direct deposit through Cash App. Everyone loves getting paid early, and one significant advantage of Cash App is that it often makes funds accessible up to two days before many traditional banks do.
Yet remember there are variables beyond Cash App control that can impact this timing sometimes.
What Are the Benefits of Direct Deposit on Cash App?
Using Cash App for direct deposit delivers an array of advantages that cater to users’ convenience and ease:
Cash App enables you to receive your payroll two days in advance, a perk not commonly offered by traditional banks.
Direct deposits are ready by 9 AM, ensuring prompt access to funds on the day of payment.
It reduces the need for physical banking as your paycheck hits your account electronically between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM on Tuesdays.
Cash App makes it simple to set up direct deposit, paving the way for swift financial transactions without hassle.
There’s no need to worry about processing delays; standard direct deposits will reach you within five business days.
For those abiding by Central Standard Time, expect your direct deposit at around 11: 30 AM.
Favors streamlined budgeting as money lands directly into your account, reducing chances of overspending or loss.
Safe and secure method of payment with stringent safety measures in place to protect user data.
Allows easy tracking of income through the app which helps in better finance management.
Offers support for troubleshooting any direct deposit issues via their customer support number.
How to Set Up Direct Deposit on Cash App?
Setting up direct deposit on Cash App is a simple process. Here’s how you can do it:
Open the Cash App on your mobile device.
Tap on the “Banking” tab at the bottom of the screen.
Select “Direct Deposit.”
You will be prompted to provide your employer’s name or enter their employer identification number (EIN).
Fill in your personal information, including your full name and Social Security Number.
Provide your Cash App routing number and account number. You can find these details by tapping on “My Cash” and selecting “Cash.”
Once you have entered all the required information, review it for accuracy.
Tap on “Activate Account” to complete the direct deposit setup process.
How to Find Your Cash App Routing and Account Number?
To find your Cash App routing and account number, follow these steps:
Open the Cash App on your device.
Go to the Money tab located on your Cash App home screen.
Look for and tap on the routing and account number below your balance.
Use the options provided to copy your account and routing numbers.
How to Change Your Cash App Direct Deposit Information?
To change your Cash App direct deposit information, follow these steps:
Open the Cash App on your mobile device.
Tap on the “My Cash” tab at the bottom of the screen.
Select “Cash” from the options.
Scroll down and tap on “Direct Deposit”.
Click on “Get Account Number”.
Review and accept the terms of service.
You will be provided with your account and routing numbers for direct deposit.
Copy or write down the account and routing numbers.
Contact your employer or benefits provider and provide them with your new account and routing numbers for direct deposit.
Verify with your employer or benefits provider that the changes have been made successfully.
Is It Possible to Receive Your Direct Deposit Early on Cash App?
Cash App offers the possibility of receiving your direct deposit early, which can be a great advantage for those in need of funds before their scheduled payday. While traditional banks may hold funds until the scheduled arrival date, Cash App allows direct deposits to arrive up to two days earlier.
This means that you can have access to your money sooner and have more flexibility in managing your finances. However, it’s important to note that the exact timing of when the direct deposit will hit your account on Cash App can vary.

3/15/20 corona extra: cracking open cold covid facts
Announcements & Thank Yous
“About This Newsletter” has been moved to the bottom so it’s easier to skip if you’ve seen the other ones.
Some institutions do not update on Sundays. I have included the date of everything that is in question. That is also why this update is early :)
Thank you to @hysterical-random-things for letting me know about the first death in NYC and where to find that news, to @nanook2000 for information and links about KY’s response, and to @akashicsage for all of the good deets on San Diego county. If you have reliable information from a good source that I don’t seem to have, please shoot me a message/ask/pigeon!
Places now included in the newsletter are: Utah, Oregon, Washington, the Netherlands, Minnesota, Kentucky, Georgia, Nebraska, the UK, and possibly some others I missed here but included in the newsletter. Please send an ask or a message if you would like a place included!
A word on mortality rates: they look very high in some places in the US right now because testing is limited to the sickest patients. People who have mild illness and are well enough to go or stay home may not have been tested until very recently when several states started mass testing/drive through testing. Testing is still limited in a lot of states, so this will be a rolling increase situation, I anticipate.
A word on case numbers: due to the aforementioned expansion of testing capacity in the US (thank fuck), case numbers are gonna grow in a really, really scary-looking way this week. This is not actually as scary as it seems, because it means we are catching more of the cases that would have gone unnoticed and have better information to help more people.
Just The Numbers
Case numbers
Total cases: 153,517 (10,982 new)
Total deaths: 5,735 (343 new)
China: 81,048 cases (27 new!!), 3204 deaths (10 new)
This gives us a mortality rate of ~3.95%
Excluding China: 72,469 cases (10,955 new), 2531 deaths (333 new)
143 countries/territories reporting cases, 9 are new today including:
Kazakhstan: 6 cases
Curacao: 2 cases
Namibia: 2 cases
Central African Republic: 1 case
Congo: 1 case
Equatorial Guinea: 1 case
Eswatini: 1 case
Mauritania: 1 case
Mayotte: 1 case
Italy is reporting over 20,000 cases with over 1400 deaths
Iran is reporting over 10,000 cases with over 700 deaths
South Korea, Spain, and Germany are reporting over 5,000 cases
SK reports 75 deaths
Spain reports 289 deaths
Germany reports 11 deaths
International/General News
Many places experiencing a worsening epidemic are following the lead of countries including South Korea and instituting drive-through testing and high-throughput testing. Some tests (like the ones being used in Vietnam) can have a result in as soon as an hour, enabling people to be quickly cleared or quarantined. (This is super cool science! Yay, science!)
Johns Hopkins University is putting on a webinar on Tuesday, 3/17. If you are interested, you can sign up/check it out here: https://www.jhsph.edu/events/2020/covid-19/
South Korea’s epidemic is currently being driven by a fringe religious group, which represents approximately 60% of all cases.
Italy’s health system is overwhelmed, which is likely why their case-fatality rate is so high. Doctors, nurses, respiratory techs, first responders, lab personnel, and everyone else involved in hospitals/health care are working their butts off and doing some frankly heroic shit to help people.
Singapore has instituted strict travel restrictions on visitors/transiting people from European countries, including Italy, France, Spain, and Germany; this is in addition to restrictions on visitors from Iran, China, and South Korea.
Some doctors from Washington state, USA (the ones seeing the most cases) are noticing that myocarditis (viral infection & inflammation of the heart) seems to be what kills patients, not the ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) that requires ventilation. This is obviously in early stages and more research is ongoing.
The World Health Organization is setting up three hospitals with advanced respiratory care capabilities in Erbil, Baghdad, and Basra, Iraq.
Virology Corner
Today’s topic: where did SARS-CoV-2 come from?
SARS-CoV-2 is what’s known as a zoonotic virus. This means that it spread from animals to humans, and then gained the ability (through mutations) to pass from human to human.
We think that SARS-CoV-2 came from bats (Rhinopholus) or pangolins- which doesn’t mean we need to blame bats or pangolins for this, they’re innocent bystanders in the game of cat-and-mouse viruses and animals are constantly playing over evolutionary timescales. Also they’re pretty ding dang cute.
(Not to get much more depressing, but here goes, as humans encroach on more and more land and as climate change progresses, more zoonoses will affect humans. Sorry to be a mega-bummer.)
Question Tuesday
Today’s question comes from @adventurecalls! They ask (paraphrased because the ask got eaten): “If I do get sick, how do I know when it’s ok to go back to doing stuff?”
This is a really good question, and one that’s rapidly being worked out by public health people as we speak (whoa)!
In general, the thought is that once you’re totally recovered you’re not able to spread the virus, but there’s not concrete data on this. The best we have is this recent study in the Lancet (https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)30566-3/fulltext) which indicates that people who recover shed virus for 20 days from symptom onset, whereas those who die shed virus continuously until their death, a maximum course of 37 days.
I obviously can’t give individual medical advice, which this is not, but the guidance from the WHO is excellent in general, and I will keep readers posted when there’s more information.
If you have questions, ask them and they’ll appear here in the next issue of corona extra!
Regional News (if you want somewhere added just let me know. Don’t be shy!! I highly recommend you just skip to your area if you don’t wanna be overwhelmed.)
Canada: last updated 9:00 AM EST 3/15/20
Total cases: 249 confirmed (+5), 4 presumed (-1), 1 death (3/9/20, no change)
All current cases had symptoms starting between 1/17/20 and 3/9/20
One of these cases is the PM’s wife (mild case); the couple are in quarantine for 14 days now. This is not expected to affect Canada’s management, but is definitely a reminder that being a political leader does not grant one immunity to COVID-19.
12% of cases have required hospitalization
79% of cases are in travellers, and a further 8% in their close contacts
Affected provinces include (both confirmed and presumptive cases): BC (73, +0), Alberta (39, -2), Saskatchewan (2, +0), Manitoba (4, +0), Ontario (103, +2), Quebec (24, +3), Newfoundland and Labrador (1) New Brunswick (2, +0), and PEI (1).
Newly affected provinces include: Newfoundland and Labrador
4 cases in repatriated travellers
The Netherlands
I do not speak Dutch so please correct me if I’ve fucked something up royally
1135 confirmed cases, 20 deaths
176 new cases, 8 new deaths
Provinces (?) affected include: Drenthe (15), Flevoland (19), Friesland (10), Gelderland (100), Groningen (9), Limburg (129), North Brabant (446), North Holland (90), Overijssel (28), Utrecht (109), South Holland (110), and Zeeland (12).
I think this is all of them based on a quick Wikipedia investigation?
Interestingly they tested a bunch of people who work in a hospital and found a pretty high (4%) rate of asymptomatic infection. This seems like bad news (are these people spreading, etc) but it’s actually pretty good news because it means the mortality rate is lower than we think. I’ll update here as I find out more, which is hampered by my inability to speak Dutch.
New Zealand
8 confirmed cases, 2 probable cases
2 new cases, one of which was diagnosed in Australia
Both patients were on international flights and there is extensive contact tracing underway
2 patients have required hospitalization but both have been discharged
6700 people have completed self-isolation, 3015 people continue to be isolated
These people all deserve a medal, thank you for protecting your communities!
Golden Princess cruise berthed in Akaroa has one confirmed and two potential cases. The ship is quarantined now.
Norway
1077 cases, 166 of which are new
I still don’t speak Norwegian so if I screwed up lemme know
Only 1 confirmed death, possibly one more to be confirmed 3/16 but only official numbers go here
Also possible that it’s been confirmed and I don’t know because I don’t speak Norwegian
287 cases are due to community transmission, 710 acquired outside of Norway, the rest are undetermined
Locations where people became infected include Austria (491), Italy (144), Switzerland (14), UK (12), Spain (9), France (8), USA (7), Iran (5), China (1), Hong Kong (1), other countries with more than 3 cases (80), and other countries with less than 3 cases (20).
Breakdown of cases by area: Agder (55, +3), Innlandet (72, +16), Møre og Romsdal (20, +4), Nordland (8, +0), Oslo (281, +59), Rogaland (127, +9), Troms og Finnmark (20, +4), Trøndelag (50, +4), Vestfold og Telemark (48, +9), Vestland (118, +9), and Viken (278, +47)
Good job Nordland! No new cases today! :D
United Kingdom in general: this is pretty rough because apparently the public health strategy coming from Boris is “herd immunity” aka let everyone get sick and then they’ll all be immune, since the only other way to get herd immunity is a vaccine that…..we don’t have yet. Boris does not understand how to medicine.
Fuck you, Boris.
1372 total cases (+20%), 232 are new today
35 total deaths, 14 new today
England
1099 total cases
Affected NHS regions are as follows: London (407), South East (175), Midlands (94), North East and Yorkshire (91), North West (76), East of England (71), and South West (61).
Deaths are not being reported by the PHS but I will do my best to split these out in the next few editions using news reports etc
Scotland
153 cases total and 1 death
Affected health boards are as follows: Ayrshire and Arran (6), Borders (7), Fife (7), Forth Valley (10), Grampian (12), Greater Glasgow and Clyde (39), Highland (2), Lanarkshire (16), Lothian (28), Shetland (11), and Tayside (15).
I don’t know if this is all of the health  boards in Scotland but it sure is the ones that have confirmed covid19.
Wales
94 cases, 34 new
Welsh authorities are now recommending that anyone who develops a persistent cough and/or fever self-isolate, and only call 111 if they are unable to cope with their symptoms at home
Affected areas include: Blaenau Gwent County (3, +2), Bridgend County (1, +0), Caerphilly County (11, +4), Carmarthenshire County (7, +3), City & County of Swansea (18, +4), City of Cardiff (8, +3), Conwy County (1, +0), Flintshire County (1, +0), Isle of Anglesey (1, +0), Monmouthshire County (5, +1), Neath Port Talbot (11, +0), Newport City (5, +3), Pembrokeshire (2, +0), Powys County (5, +0), and Wrexham County (1, +0).
Newly affected areas include: Ceredigion County (1), Rhondda Cynon Taf County (2), Torfaen County (2), and Vale of Glamorgan (1).
Northern Ireland
45 cases, 11 new
This is all the data I have, sorry
This may actually be a thing that makes northern/southern Ireland cooperate, which is a small spark of hope in the raging dumpster fire that is this pandemic (I hyperbolize, but only slightly)
US in general: All this info is from the state & county health departments unless I say otherwise. The national response is a trash fire (but maybe hopefully improving this week??) CDC information is updated weekdays; total US cases are from 3/13 at 4 PM
1629 total cases, 41 deaths (2.5% mortality rate), with 46 states and DC reporting cases.
CDC is now recommending all in person gatherings with more than 50 people be canceled for the next 8 weeks. This sucks for me personally and probably a lot of you all too. Hang in there.
California: updated around 10 AM PST, 3/15/20
The state dept of health is not providing a ton of info right now, so all of this is coming from county health departments, which are doing really excellent work btw. Love local public health departments <3
My official take is that the higher level government orgs in the US are muzzled from above and therefore totally shitting the bed and the county-level public health officials are really stepping up to the plate
Total cases not including the ones at Miramar (discussed below): 363, with 4 total deaths
Affected counties include: Alameda (7), Calaveras (2), Contra Costa (29), Fresno (2), Humboldt (1 - recovered), Imperial (2), Los Angeles (53, +11), Madera (1), Marin (5), Orange (14), Placer (8), Riverside (10), Sacramento (29) San Benito (3 - 2 recovered), San Diego (8), San Francisco (28), San Joaquin (8), San Luis Obispo (1), San Mateo (32), Santa Clara (91), Santa Cruz (7), Shasta (1), Solano (6), Sonoma (4), Stanislaus (2), Tulare (2), Ventura (5), Yolo (2)
San Diego: My numbers are not gonna include the federal quarantine situations at Miramar (for repatriated people and the Diamond Princess passengers) because that’s what makes sense right now regarding community transmission. If this changes I will say so.
Unaffected counties include: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Modoc, Mono, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Plumas, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tuolumne, Yuba

Florida - last updated 145 AM EST 3/15/20
115 (+45) cases and 4 deaths (+0)
Florida has not yet confirmed community transmission but it’s almost certainly happening. I’m no longer separating counties with and without confirmed community transmission because of that.
Also, the numbers by county do not add up to the same total because locations are updated less frequently by FLDPH than the total number of cases.

Today’s Hot Tips
Make sure you have ibuprofen and tylenol/acetaminophen/APAP/paracetamol at home before you get sick. This isn’t just covid advice, this is life advice in general. (Obvs, ask your doctor about what’s safe to take if you have chronic health conditions etc but this is a general recommendation, not medical advice. As I said, life advice.)
As far as I know, ibuprofen and tylenol are ok, but research may change this. Current research indicates that steroids, which are used in other severe respiratory conditions, may make COVID-19 associated acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) worse. More on this later.
It still can’t hurt to have some tylenol around, though, ya know?
Hand Washing Song of the Day
If you hate singing happy birthday while you wash your hands, I certainly do, try Good as Hell by Lizzo instead!
Sing from “I do my hair toss” to “If he don’t love you anymore” at minimum (if you’re like me and can’t leave a lyric unfinished, go ahead and dry your hands while making your brain happy.) to follow CDC handwashing guidelines! Use soap and water for maximum virus-murdering.

About this newsletter
I’m Emily, I’m a 4th year med student w/ a degree in molecular biology. I wrote this because I’m an infectious disease and epidemiology nerd and also all my friends have questions & anxiety. Hi internet!
All this info is sourced from regional & national public health organizations, plus the WHO. It’s as up to date as humanly possible. I’ve been beaming information about this outbreak directly into my brain 24/7 but I still miss stuff. Please let me know if I miss something!
Most public health departments stop updating their information around 4-5 PM local time on weekdays. That means that the earliest this will come out is around 6 PM Pacific time on weekdays going forward. On weekends things update more sporadically and earlier, so who knows what I’ll do then, but I’ll do my best.
Thank you to @marywhal for the excellent title!

Weekly Announcements for Week of 10/3-10/9
Dear SBSC families,
Practice Schedule Riley HS Group 1 Thursday 6:00-7:15 G1 Elite Wednesday 5:30-7:15 Group 2 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:30-7:15, and Friday 5:00-6:30 Group 3 AM Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 5:30-6:45 AM Group 3 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:45-6:15, and Friday 5:00-6:30 New Prairie HS Group 1 Monday 6:00-7:15 CST Group 2 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:30-6:15 CST Group 3 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:30-7:00 CST Practice Notes: NP Group 1 swimmers and parents continue to use door N17.  NP Group 2 and 3 swimmers and parents should use door N18.  Parents are welcome to stay to watch practice and masks are optional. Riley families please use door #22.  For our new families this is the door on the north west corner of the building and faces Fellows Street. If you are planning on staying to watch practice there is a stairwell that is adjacent to this door and this will lead you to the seating area.  Everyone choosing to stay to watch practice must be wearing a mask and social distance while in the seating gallery. Intra-Sqaud Meet Tuesday Oct. 5 Riley High School The job sign-up function is now active and you can register for any of the available jobs.  There are only 9 families that have signed up to help.  We will not be able to run an effective meet without your help.  Please sign up today! We would like all swimmers to be on deck by 5:45 EST.   We are going to push our start time of the meet to 6:15 EST.  Hopefully this will make it a little easier on our NP families and still be able to be out of the building at a decent time.  All of our swimmers are assumed to be swimming at this meet.  If your swimmer will be unable to make the meet you will need to decline attendance with the "Edit Commitment" button on our website or by using the OnDeck app. The meet will last approximately 60-75 minutes followed by a team pizza dinner/potluck in the RHS cafeteria. The club will provide the pizzas and drinks.  We are asking families to bring their favorite dish to share.  Families A-M bring their favorite side dish and families N-Z bring their favorite dessert.  If you are making the dessert please list ingredients on a note card to be displayed with your dish. Swim A Thon Thank you to everyone who received donations this week.  We are now over 60% of way to our goal. We have over 100 swimmers on the club and only 24 have been able to secrue donations. I am sure by anyone's assesment this would be considered less then ideal. This year we are requiring all families to raise at least $75. This is a per family requirement, not per swimmer. If a family does not meet that threshold they will be billed the difference.  Every swimmer who reaches a $150 will receive an embroidered team suit from Just Add H2O. Our team goal is to raise $10,000.  This is our only fundraising event of the entire year.  We need everyone's help! WAR Monster Splach 10/30 The meet information has yet to be posted on the Indiana Swimming website.  I have sent an email to the Warsaw head coach and hopefull we will have information soon.  The deadline to commit to this meet has been pushed to next Sunday, October 10. Lifeguarding/Assisting with Group 1 and Group 2 The last several years we have had a 4 hour volunteer requirement for our Group 3 swimmers.  We also still have several of the swimmers who took our lifeguarding class last fall not finish their 10 hours of volunteering.  It helps the club considerably more to have those swimmers fulfill their commitment as opposed to billing those families for the class.   The October lifeguarding and volunteer postions are now available for sign-up. USA Swimming Guidelines-MAAPP/Safe Sport USA Swimming issued a directive with regards to electronic communication and social media contact between coaches and athletes.  Most of what is being implemented is common sense and falls in line with our club's policies.  One new requirement we will need to adhere to is how your minor child communicates with me.  For several years I have asked swimmers in Group 2 and Group 3 to text/email me if they would be
missing practice.  Moving forward, swimmers will be instructed to include a parent on all communication with me. If you are the parent of a Group 2 or Group 3 swimmer, and have never sent me a text before, please text me so I have your contact info in my phone.  This way if I need to contact your swimmer about missing practice I can be sure to include you.  My cell phone number is 574-276-6057.
I encourage all parents and swimmers to read the full policy.  We are required to keep this policy on our website, here is the link. The USA Swimming Safe Sport staff has been hosting Zoom training for parents, minor athletes and coaches to assist clubs in completing the Training and Education requirement of the Safe Sport Club Recognition program.  All participants will need to register to attend training. SAFE SPORT TRAINING FOR PARENTWed., October 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET | REGISTERWed., November 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET | REGISTERWed., December 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET | REGISTERSAFE SPORT TRAINING FOR ATHLETES (AGES 12-17Thur., October 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET | REGISTERThur., November 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET| REGISTERThur., December 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET | REGISTER Fall and Winter Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit Below is our spring/summer meet schedule. The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and second date is the deadline to commit. Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets.  The deadlines are based on deadlines that were set in previous years. What Time Does Cash App Direct Deposit Hit On Wednesday?
Direct deposits to a Cash App account can be massively convenient, but the timing may sometimes seem unpredictable. While they typically appear in your account by 9 AM on payday, it’s good to know that this can vary based on several factors.
Tumblr media
This blog post will guide you through everything you need to know about when and how direct deposits hit your Cash App so that you’re never left guessing. Read on for all the need-to-know info about how cash app & direct deposit work together for maximum benefit.
It usually takes anywhere from one to five business days for these payments to show up in your account, depending largely on when your employer sends out the payroll instruction.
While it’s tempting to expect your money right away, patience may be necessary with direct deposit through Cash App. Everyone loves getting paid early, and one significant advantage of Cash App is that it often makes funds accessible up to two days before many traditional banks do.
Yet remember there are variables beyond Cash App control which can impact this timing sometimes.
What Are the Benefits of Direct Deposit on Cash App?
Using Cash App for direct deposit delivers an array of advantages that cater to users’ convenience and ease:
Cash App enables you to receive your payroll two days in advance, a perk not commonly offered by traditional banks.
Direct deposits are ready by 9 AM, ensuring a prompt access to funds on the day of payment.
It reduces the need for physical banking as your paycheck hits your account electronically between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM on Tuesdays.
Cash App makes it simple to set up direct deposit, paving way for swift financial transactions without hassle.
This means that you can have access to your money sooner and have more flexibility with managing your finances. However, it’s important to note that the exact timing of when the direct deposit will hit your account on Cash App can vary.
It typically arrives between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM on Tuesdays in your local time zone, but delays are possible due to processing times or technical issues. Overall, receiving your direct deposit early is indeed possible on Cash App and can provide added convenience and financial freedom.
What Are the Fees Associated With Cash App Direct Deposit?
Cash App has become a popular choice for direct deposits due to its simple and convenient system. However, understanding the fees associated with direct deposits is essential to make the most of this feature.
Standard direct deposits on Cash App do not incur any fees and are typically received within 1-5 business days. Payroll direct deposits are immediately available upon being sent by the employer and do not attract any fees. On the other hand, Instant Deposits, which are processed within seconds, come with a fee that ranges from 0.5% to 1.75% of the transaction amount, with a minimum charge applied.
What Is the Cash App Direct Deposit Limit?
The Cash App direct deposit limit refers to the maximum amount of money that can be deposited through direct deposit into your Cash App account. While specific information about the direct deposit limit is not provided in the article, it’s important to note that there are limitations on how much you can receive via this method.
The direct deposit limit may vary depending on various factors such as your account verification status and any restrictions imposed by Cash App or your bank. It’s recommended to check with Cash App customer support or refer to their official documentation for more detailed information regarding the exact limits and any potential variations based on individual circumstances.
What Are the Alternatives to Direct Deposit on Cash App?
Cash App offers several alternatives to direct deposit for receiving funds. Here are some options:
Cash App Card: You can sign up for the Cash App Card and have your employer deposit your paycheck directly onto the card. This allows you to access your funds immediately and use them for purchases or withdrawals.
Bill Pay: Cash App also provides a Bill Pay feature that allows you to pay bills directly from your Cash App account. Instead of having your employer deposit funds, you can use this feature to pay bills such as rent, utilities, or credit card payments.
Bitcoin Purchases: Another alternative on Cash App is using the platform to buy and sell Bitcoin. If you receive payments in Bitcoin, you can easily convert them into cash by selling the cryptocurrency through the app.
P2P Transfers: Cash App enables peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers, which means you can send and receive money directly from other Cash App users. This can be a convenient option if you need to receive funds quickly from friends or family.
ATM Withdrawals: If you prefer to have physical cash instead of using digital transactions, you can use your Cash App Card at ATMs to withdraw money from your account.
Is Cash App Direct Deposit Safe?
Cash App Direct Deposits are generally considered safe for users. Cash App follows strict security measures to protect user information and transactions. They use encryption technology to safeguard data and offer account verification options, such as PIN codes and fingerprints, for added protection.
When it comes to direct deposits, Cash App makes sure that your funds are secure. They make the direct deposits available as soon as they are received, often up to two days earlier than traditional banks.
This means you can access your money faster and conveniently manage your finances. It is important to note that while Cash App strives for a smooth direct deposit process, there may be occasional delays or technical issues outside their control. If you experience any problems with your direct deposit not showing up in your account or have any concerns about its security, it is recommended to contact Cash App support for assistance.
Overall, Cash App Direct Deposit offers a safe and convenient way to receive funds directly into your account without the need for physical checks or paper transactions.
What Is the Cash App Direct Deposit Customer Support Number?
If you’re experiencing any issues or need assistance with your Cash App direct deposit, you can contact the customer support team. They are available to help you troubleshoot any problems or provide guidance on setting up and managing your direct deposit.
Whether you have questions about the timing of your deposit, encountering delays, or facing technical issues, the customer support number is there for you to seek assistance and resolve any concerns efficiently.

Theatre Events for Designers
Hello higher education partners,
Here’s wishing each of you a happy new semester, and happy 2021. I’m writing with a few new opportunities for college and university students, alumni, and educators, including a brand-new program with open applications, and our sixth annual Going Pro Career Fair. We’re also working on additional virtual modules for classroom use, which we hope to share in the next couple of months.
Please share the information below with current students, alumni, and educators. We’re happy to provide more information about any of these programs, and to connect with your students and educators directly.
New Program: Emerging Artists Theatregoers Application Due: February 8, 2021 We're looking for Emerging Artists, ages 18-24, pursuing careers in live theatre, who want to see and explore virtual theatre and its cultural and artistic impact with one another in small discussion groups. Designers, technicians, and others interested in production are particularly encouraged to apply. Theatregoers will have access to a diverse selection of virtual performances, get free and first-time access to Center Theatre Group's Digital Stage, and connect with other Emerging Artists to watch and discuss theatre. Applications are open now through February 8th. Click here to learn more and to apply!
Theatre Alumni Career Survey Presentation Date: Tuesday, January 26, 2021 Time: 4:00 - 5:30 PM PST (11:00 AM -12:30 PM EST) Center Theatre Group conducted a research study in fall 2020, measuring the impact of the pandemic and the events of the past few months on early-career theatre professionals. Building on our 2018 Theatre Program Alumni Survey, this new report looks at what we can learn from the experiences of recent graduates as they navigate the pandemic and post-pandemic field. Join us for an overview of the findings, including how access to practical career training in higher education can better prepare theatre students to step into-- and find success in-- theatre and live entertainment careers. The live webinar will include a Q&A period with CTG staff members Aurora Ilog and Camille Schenkkan. The event will also be recorded and made available for later viewing. Please feel free to share with colleagues and students; all are welcome. To sign up for the Zoom webinar, click here.
Save the Date: Going Pro Career Fair Date: Saturday, April 17, 2021 We are excited to announce our sixth annual Going Pro Career Fair will be a fully-virtual event this year. We’ll be using a platform called Hopin that mimics an in-person conference experience, and plan to have many of the elements of past Going Pro events, including one-on-one mentorship, panel discussions and workshops, and opportunities to network with union representatives and employers. The event will be free to current college & university students, and we’re working on opening up access to early-career individuals and alumni as well.
Virtual Theatre Education Resources
Just a reminder that we have twenty separate Working in Theatre webinars from summer and fall, on topics ranging from Making Money So You Can Make Art to Branding, Self-Marketing and Entrepreneurship. We also have recordings of our Theatre Artist Classroom Connections series with theatre artists such as Phylicia Rashad, Keith David, Dael Orlandersmith, Sir Matthew Bourne and Sabina Zúñiga Varela in conversation with local students, with downloadable companion materials coming soon. Our Working in Theatre portal has many more resources, including a Classroom Materials section.
Internships/Apprenticeships Remain on Pause At this time, our Internship and Apprenticeship Programs will remain on pause through the summer. We hope to return to these programs next year, and miss working with so many of your talented students and early-career individuals.
Thank you all, and please reach out any time.
Warmly,
Camille Schenkkan (she/her/hers) Interim Department Director

Our next event is...
Glory Route’s Trip to the Beach!
This beach visit is a 2-week long event scheduled to occur around late June or early July. More updates regarding the finalized event dates will be posted at a later time.
Signing Up
This event requires sign-ups. Please copy, paste, fill out, and submit the application below to us if you wish to join. You may start signing up today! Just remember to submit your character’s application from his/her blog. (Your application/s will not be published.)
If you have multiple characters and want to sign up more than one character, we'd like to ask that you submit separate applications for each of them.
We will allow late sign-ups after the event has already started, but you will not have the option of choosing roommates and we can’t guarantee you a seating partner on the way home.
Application
NAME: GENDER: AGE: HOTEL ROOMMATE(S) REQUESTS:
Bus Ride
We'll be taking a bus to the hotel near the beach and since the bus seats are in pairs, characters will be randomly assigned two seating partners! Two because there’ll be specifically one on the day we travel to the beach and a different one on the way back home.
We encourage you to interact with your seating buddies because you will be sitting next to them for the hours-long drive!
You may interact with other characters on the bus as well; everyone on the bus is occupying the same proximity after all, and are close enough to start conversations with.
Hotel
Characters will also be split up into small groups for the purpose of hotel roommates! Hotel rooms are expected to fit anywhere from 2 to 4 individuals per room.
When filling out the application, you can either request 1 to 3 hotel roommate(s) or write "Random" to be randomized. However, please keep in mind that we can't guarantee you will be with those you requested for.
You can still interact with whichever characters you want during the event; you're not stuck with your roommates all day, unless if there’s an activity that requires you to be.
Before the event officially begins, mods will make a master post which lists your seating buddies, roommate(s), and the final schedule.
