He inches slightly as he braces himself on the edge of the roof. He’s ready. More ready, maybe, than he’s ever been. The soles of his shoes are pressed flush to the wall of the building and his hands grip the course edge of the building. He looks down at the city commotion, then up at the Big Dipper constellation (the first one he could ever identify as a kid). He feels his heart finally slow down to an acceptably calm rhythm. He closes his eyes. He doesn’t feel anything anymore. He doesn’t hear anything.

He doesn’t hear the door the roof open, nor does he hear the blood-curdling scream behind him.

Or;

Buck has never felt so alone in his entire life. The noise and the hatred and pain is loud and he wants it to stop. So he decides to make it.

I found this so beautifully written. I've often tried reading stories like this but I've never found one that was as good as this one. Realistic writing, had me on the verge of tears. If you're in need for some angst and these topics won't trigger you, I definitely recommend this one!

Would love a Buddie fic where post-lawsuit with them slowly reconciling, Eddie and Buck take Chris to a water park. Everything seems ok until they come across this one wave pool with people screaming and laughing. Only Chris doesn't laugh and neither does Buck as they rush to each other. Eddie watches Buck tenderly hold Chris, comforting him despite how shaky he is himself. Eddie realizes how traumatized Buck is and that he failed to see. Eddie vows to take care of the two loves of his life.

OMG, yes. As soon as I read water park I immediately said to myself Tsunami PTSD-Panic Attack.

And although I love the idea of this being a Eddie-Chris-Buck fic, I equally have vibes for post lawsuit-still tender/strained relationship between Eddie and Buck where the 118 get called out to the water park - I'm picturing there's an injured person either in the wave pool or somehow stuck (maybe they have their foot or leg stuck in something) and Buck and Eddie get picked to go in to get the Vic, only some idiot put the wave controls back on and Buck just completely freezes, or stumbles, (and possibly goes under) and has a huge panic attack right in front of Eddie, Like maybe Buck, completely drenched , sputtering and choking on water, starts screaming 'Christopher' over and over. And it's only then that Eddie realises what's happening.

I truly hope the rumors of tumblr selling its user's artwork and other images to midjourney aren't real, because I am extremely tired of having to uproot and move around on the internet and still haven't fully recovered from the old dA-to-tumblr exodus... But juuuust in case a deal like that does go through, I'mma just leave this linktree post here. Just, y'know, for reasons.

The worst part is, you can't even delete or go back and edit your posts to opt out if this happens, because reblogs are unaffected. If anyone has ever reblogged your work there will be no way to opt out of this unless we can get a class action suit for tumblr going, or I guess report our own artwork and hope they nuke it themselves.

Just... Really didn't fuckin need this. Tumblr has been my internet home since 2011.
