We have seen Loki stab Thor in the back through the movies and Mobius said he have done it fifty times and even if we know he has changed, how would he react to the reader being the one betrayed by someone important to them? Sorry if it's too angst

So this will be directed with PostRagnarok!Loki, not TVA!Loki, only because I feel like we still have a lot to learn about this version of him and I would like to see what season two and Multiverse of Madness has to offer. If I misunderstood your request, please let me know and correct me!

If it was the someone who betrayed Loki in any way, even if it was someone he was really, really in love with and trusted with his life, he would easily change his views. Whether or not you did the incident on accident, his heart is only allowed to be broken by you once and that's it. I remember someone asked me if I thought Loki would forgive his partner if they cheated on him and were remorseful, and I say no. I've talked about Loki's deal breakers, and I honestly think anything that betrays his trust makes him immediately cut off and pushes you to a far distance (and, since you're not Thor, Loki's brother, there really is no getting back to even being close). If it was to try and protect him, like to save his life or keep him safe, he would be pissed, but you can attempt to work and reconcile.

If it was you being betrayed by someone who was important to you (family member, friend, ally, etc), and seeing how hurt and torn you were from it, Loki is going to be seriously pissed at this person. He won't actually kill the person (depending on what they did, just to note), but he will make sure to cause that person to live regretting for harming you emotionally/mentally/physically. Any spell that comes off as a curse, a haunting, a torture, Loki is going to use it against them and do whatever it takes to protect you and help you heal from the trauma. He knows it's not easy in the slightest, but he is going to do whatever it takes and however long to help you feel supported and loved by him - that there is nothing damaged or wrong with you, and he wants to stay with you. As difficult and how you may try to push him away, Loki is going to be extremely patient and careful throughout the whole process, because he understands - to a point - what it's like and doesn't want you to go through what he had to deal with for years.

Post Ragnarok, but pre Infinity War (let's just pretend that never happened). Thor also hadn't broken up with Jane. So a wedding is due between those two love birds. And who will the best man be? Of course, Loki. However things don't quite go as planned. And it wasn't even Loki's fault for once... well, not directly anyways.

I'll be sure to check it out! :) Do you have some fic recs that are postRagnarok that are kinda angsty? I've been looking for some that talk about the dramatic things that the movie glossed over for the sake of comedy, like Odin's lies, Thor/Loki's problems that weren't really addressed enough imo, Asgard being gone, Thor's friend's being killed by Hela, etc. But I only found one oneshot. Guess it's too early?

Sorry to keep self-promoting, but have you read my post-Ragnarok fic, Zeno’s Paradox? It’s pretty short, so it doesn’t address all of those issues, but I do try to acknowledge some of the shit that Odin left in his wake. @incredifishface a.k.a. thebookhunter’s fic, appropriately enough called Bookie’s Hug Fic, also makes a point of acknowledging the rift in Thor and Loki’s relationship. @raven-brings-light‘s fic The opposite of love offers an interestingly angsty reading of the sotory about 8-year-old Loki turning into a snake and stabbing Thor.

The absolute angstiest fic I’ve read is @illwynd‘s Over Now. It’s sort of an alternate-ending Ragnarok fic based on the 2004 Ragnarok storyline in the comics, and using that to comment on Thor’s attitude toward Loki in the movie. Warning: darkness ahead.

...Helheim Correction Facility wasn't so bad after all. Baldr Odinson was imprisoned by mistake, soon he got along with Hel, head of the prison. He spent his days quite well, reading comics and doing nothing, but as a result he missed the great battle of Ragnarök. Baldr is going into Asgard to find the survivors and stop the forces of chaos.
