Prettybusy Updates/promises for the future. Year 2024

I literally took this from their website so. This was posted today: 10/01/2024.

Hello, this is Prettybusy.

Since the release of <What in Hell is Bad?>, many people have found Hell to support us and tell us what could be improved.

We are most apologetic that we cannot reply to all the voices.

But even when we weren't able to respond to everything, we still read every email, made sure we didn't miss anything,

and kept the production crew together for ongoing discussions.

We would like to apply many new things to Hell, but here's our first response to your voices,

summarizing what we can realistically expect to see in 2024.

[Addition of contents]

Life goes on forever.

To those of you who come to find <What in Hell is Bad?>, we hope to be with you for new stories and new events.

So, here are some new content that we promise to add.

First

The addition of a new main story - Chapter 5 - (within January)

Hell's next story will be added.

What will be added in the new main story are main story episodes including battles, Minhyeok's story, and Hell's chatrooms.

We aim to add new chapters once every 3 months.

Second

The release of the minigame <Catch Minhyeok's Boxers> (within January)

Minhyeok's boxers have flown away in the wind! It is a game where you catch boxers floating in the sky with Ppyong who is armed with shibari.

To satisfy your desire to earn paid currency, we will add a minigame that allows you to randomly farm items alongside light gaming.

You can obtain not only Lesser Keys and Greater Keys, but also Solomon's Seals if you're lucky(!)

Third

The addition of new daily chats (within February)

The interest of all devils which you can see once a day. Daily chats will be added.

We are aiming to add daily chats steadily once every 2 months.

Fourth

The addition of the Friends system(within March)

You are not alone now...!

Adding friends gives you the ability to earn additional items, see what characters your friends have that you don't, and show your profile to other friends.

Fifth

The addition of Realm of the Seraphim(within March)

The closed <Realm of the Seraphim> of the Dark Sanctuary will be opened.

You can now enter Gabriel, Raphael, and Michael's realms to fight them.Similar to the Nightmare Dungeon, you can only face them if you fulfill the conditions, and while it will be a scarier battle, you will be rewarded with better items.

What's unusual about this is that you won't exchange items through an exchange, but rather you get the

items you loot from their realms immediately after the battle.

Sixth

The addition of a birthday system(within April)

The devils understood the human world's <celebration of birthdays>.

Now, the devils will congratulate the day you were born, the most unusual being in Hell.

Devils who are on good terms with you will contact you, and also prepare presents with their hearts.

Seventh

The addition of decorating the lobby icon(within May)

The production crew also enjoy decorating everything with the devils we love.

Like on Halloween, the function to decorate the lobby icon with a single devil's theme will be added.

The icon packages for all devils won't be there from the start, but the icons of all devils will definitely be added.

Eighth

The addition of line stickers(once registration is complete)

We are preparing line stickers of each devil version.

First off, Ppyong's stickers are ready and we are getting ready to register. It is not up to us to decide whether it will be able to register so we can't give you an exact timeline, but barring any major issues, you should be able to see them in the first half of the year. We will also be creating a number of opportunities for you to join the devils outside of the game this year.

[Pricing system reform]

Once again, we sincerely thank you for finding Hell despite its many shortcomings.

We will continue to improve the parts that inconvenience you in Hell's environments you experience.

So, here is our promise of 2024 to make your experience more comfortable.

First

The function to 'select' when summoning an L grade character (within February)

We confirmed that you have been working hard to get your hands on L grade devils, and we have seen how

frustrating it can be when you have reached your number of guaranteed acquisition but can't get the devil you want more.

Therefore, the production crew discussed this to be the improvement that should be made first.

Now when L grade characters are newly released, you can select the character you want once you

reach the number of guaranteed acquisition.

Moreover, we sincerely understand and apologize for the frustration of those who didn't get their limited characters.

In the interest of equity, we can't directly give you the angels you didn't get, but we have added a system to make it

easier to get Solomon's Seals with the promise of a definitive reprint of the angel characters.

Second

Monthly acquisition of Solomon's Seals (within February)

We have confirmed that people who play the game 100% for free don't have the opportunity to get an L grade character, and that makes them feel a great sense of loss.

We have made all of our stories available for free for those who want to play for free, but we empathize that the devils, especially the touchable ones, tempt you so strongly that it is difficult to resist.

Therefore, players who play for free can also obtain 500 Seals per month through various activities such as quests and attendance.

Third

Pancake Shop renewal (within March)

We have received a lot of feedback about the efficiency of the Pancake Shop and how getting S grade characters and artifacts with pancakes just isn't that much fun.

Also for 100% free-to-players, one of the largest opinions was to to give them the opportunity to

earn L grade characters when they obtain duplicate L grade and S grade characters, even if it costs much currency.

While it is impossible for us to listen to 100% of the feedback we receive, we have been working hard to make sure we are listening to you as much as possible, which is why we are announcing a complete renewal of the

Pancake system and prepare the opportunity to obtain L grade characters.

(1) The Pancake Shop will now be upgraded to the Nightmare Pancake Shop, and free-to-play players will now be able to obtain L grade characters through the Nightmare Pancake Shop.

With the addition of the Nightmare Dungeon and the Realm of the Seraphim, you will need to develop a variety of characters. Gold and Tomes will be much more important, and you will need to be more efficient with limited action power.

As a result, duplicate acquisition of B/A/A+ grade characters will now grant Gold and Tomes, and duplicate acquisition of S grade and L grade characters will grant <Nightmare Pancakes>.

(2) <Nightmare Pancakes> will be used in purchasing goods in the newly opening <Nightmare Pancake Shop>.

In the Nightmare Pancake Shop, you can purchase a monthly rotation of <L grade characters> and <L grade character artifacts>, <exclusive stickers to decorate your chat room profile>, <in-game icon design packages>, and

<Solomon's Tears>.

(Through fun planning, we will continue to add novel and adorable goods.)

(3) The <Pancakes> you already own can be used to purchase items from the existing Pancake Shop, or exchanged for <Nightmare Pancakes> - currency that can be used in the Nightmare Pancake Shop. (*Not at a 1 to 1 ratio.)

This is an upgraded version of the Pancake Shop that we have been working hard to continuously bring you as many opportunities as we can.

Not all functions are immortal, and we are planning to listen to many opinions again after implementing the shop.

Through the renewal of the Pancake Shop, we hope you obtain more efficiency and opportunities.

Fourth

Adjustment of the price of the Nightmare Pass (within March)

The Nightmare Pass was designed to give players a chance to get a guaranteed L grade character and a lot of paid items for a fraction of the cost.

However, there were various opinions ranging from the Pass being cheap to too expensive due to exchange rate

differences between countries (in some cases due to the dual conditions of exchange rate and app store).

One thing we know for sure is that most players had a blast.

We want you to enjoy your visit to Hell, so we have decided to price the Nightmare Pass a little lower than it is now, taking into account currency differences between countries.

We will announce the exact price again.

However, we respectfully ask for your kind understanding that it takes a lot of time and effort to bring

L grade characters to you, including the artwork, Live2D, stories, comics, and voice acting, so we can't just make them too cheap.

[Improvement of environment]

First

Adjustment of staging time of Ultimates (within February)

While we wanted to maximize the spectacle of combat through fancy staging, we found that the pacing of

combat can be a bit sluggish for those who are already used to staging.

The scenes in which the characters' faces appear will be reduced to 1/2.

Second

Enjoying event story illustrations (within March)

We accept wholeheartedly the feedback that after watching an event story, it is very sad not to be able to see the illustrations after the event story period.

You can now rewatch the illustrations you enjoy in the future event stories you meet in the existing album.

Third

Addition of a Boss skill window (within March)

We hear your feedback that when a boss angel appears, it is hard to respond because you don't know what skill they use.

Boss angels will now have skill icons next to the angels, and you can tap on it to see the skill they use.

However, there are bosses that intentionally do not expose their skill icons in some places for the sake of difficulty.

Fourth

Faster announcements

We recognize that announcements about new character additions and release schedules do not give you enough time to prepare, or even make you feel anxious.

To explain the situation so far, the <evaluation> takes a very long time unlike other games, and it is very difficult to confirm the release date.

This is because even if we announce our release date well in advance by the standards of other games, 2-3 weeks can easily pass if we get rejected only a few times.

But this is not a situation that our players should have to deal with, and it is something we must solve.

For a safe announcement, we are planning to update only the main story and minigame in January without releasing new sub stories, new S grade characters or L grade characters.

We will be pulling about two months' worth of evaluation for new characters that are tied to evaluation, so we'll be able to give you a stable schedule ahead of time once we have the results of the evaluation.

We realize that not releasing new characters can be boring for our users. But if you could understand that this was a very difficult decision for us to make, we'll be working harder in the month of January to ensure that we're able to give you stable announcements.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for finding Hell once again.

We would like to say that although we do have many shortcomings, but we never made decisions to give you bad experiences.

And that we'll never stop, and that we'll continue to think and listen every day to keep things moving in the right direction.

We wish we could use large staff to make faster improvements and respond to more voices in real time, but we are deeply sorry and saddened that we can't.

We will repay your love with a production crew that will answer your questions as quickly as we can.

You are the most valuable and appreciated part of the production crew's experience.

Though it may be slow, Hell will not stop. It will become more experienced and faster.

Summer Fling with Summer Camp Councilor Takemichi

Pairing: Takemichi Hanagaki x Fem!Reader

A/N: Another post for @h1karuhitach11ns's Summer Job Collab!

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who was only doing this for extra credit at first. It was better to do this then get stuck working a worse summer job, like the one he had kn his first timeline. No thank you, at least this way he can get some fresh air and get away from school related activities.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who notices how good you are with the kids and ask you for help. He's never been good with kids, especially rowdy ones like these. You seem to be a natural at it though, maybe you could calm the guys in his school too, at least he'd know where their heads are turning. His included.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi stares st you for a few seconds while you put your swimsuit on for the beach activities today. He didn't mean to stare! His face is redder then it'd be if he was on the sun all day. Even the kids at the camp tease him about it, but most girls seem to think its sweet how flustered he gets around you.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who holds your hand while your walking through the woods, looking for a place to set up camp that night. There weren't many chances for camping in the city or for him to tell scary stories that keep kids up at night. Maybe they were a bit too scary, he'll make it up to them with a fun game tomorrow. Were you scared too? He noticed you squeezing his hand through the scarier parts, which he didn't mind, it almost distracted him but he was able to get through it.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who gives you a ride on his back when you sprain your anckle, another councilor taking the kids back to camp. He makes the walk slow, listening to you talk about the previous times you worked here. Aha, he knew you had experiance. And lucky for you he's had experiance carrying injured people around. His friends get into quite a few fights. He does too but not as many.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who kisses you on pulse one night in front of the roaring fire after everyones gone to sleep. It was stupid, he knows this won't last, only for the summer but even so he learned his lesson in not taking chances with someone he likes. You can tell he was shy by how his lips trembeled as he waited for you to kiss back, and smiling like a goof right after.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who knows that men and womens cabins are seperate, even for the workers but it doesn't say anything about sneaking around together, at least not for those who work at the camp. If you get caught, as long as its not with your pants down you can say you were checking the woods for wild life.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who knows you have to more careful cause even though you hold hands a lot and sit or walk really close you still have to look professional. Hickies wouldn't fly then. Which is a shame cause he really likes to see and wear them otherwise. There's always more secret places on the body, if you'd allow him.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who just happens to foget to pack his tent so he has to share with you. The thing is... he really did forget but it worked out wonderfuly for the two of you. You get to spend the whole night cuddling, kissing, letting hands fall where ever they would as your lips kept each other quiet through the night.

Summer Camp Councilor!Takemichi who doesn't want camp to end any time soon. He's having too much fun outdoors, teaching and learning, being someone kids look up to, being someone you look at with so much want. He's never had a girl look at him like that. He'll be back next summer for sure, until then, maybe he can have your number.

OKAY I JUST FINISHED CHALICE OF THE GODS IN ABOUT 3 HOURS AND IVE HAD A SLIGHT REVELATION

[slight Chalice of the Gods spoilers, but I don't think it's that relevant to the plot at large]

So, in The Lightning Thief, Sally tells Percy that she and his dad were only together for a summer, and he left before he was born, but that he knew that Sally was pregnant.

In The Last Olympian, we find out that Percy's exact birthday is August 18th.

Now. I don't know if it was just me. But I had figured that Rick meant that the summer Sally and Poseidon had their torrid love affair was the same year Percy was born - for the sake of this post, let's say 1992, based off the idea that the setting starts the same year the first book TLT came out, which is 2005, and he is 12 in June of that year, meaning he turned 13 in August 2005, ergo Percy Jackson was born in 1992 (let's ignore other timeline discrepancies and pop culture references in the books for now)

If we are being generous and include May as part of the summer, and say that is when Sally and Poseidon met and she immediately got pregnant at the start, that would still mean she was only about 4 months pregnant when she had Percy in August.

And I accepted that. I accepted that this was probably a Bella-in-Twilight-accelerated-pregnancy situation. I didn't think Rick intentionally meant to write it that way, but it felt like a canon-typical explanation. By the time we know for sure that Percy's birthday is in August, we find out that Annabeth and all the other children of Athena are born from Athena's divine thoughts after meeting the minds of incredibly intelligent mortals, and those children appear in a golden cradle on their mortal parent's doorstep. The idea that getting pregnant by a god could lead to pregnancy that takes half the time and still leads to a fully viable baby being born is not wilder than that. And I had already accepted that.

But in Chalice of the Gods, Sally says that Percy came much later than expected.

Instead of Sally conceiving Percy in May 1992 and him being born in August 1992, Sally could've conceived Percy as late as September 1991 and he was born in August 1992, a pregnancy lasting a minimum of 11 months, but more likely lasting at least A FULL CALENDAR YEAR!?!?!?!? THIS IS CANON

And this is not wilder than if it really was an accelerated pregnancy situation, considering the canon. It might actually be more realistic. I've heard stories of human babies taking longer than 9 months to get out and they're alright, and I might not have had enough interest in them to check out if they were true or not, but I cannot even think of a story of someone seriously claiming they had a completely healthy and viable baby after only a trimester of pregnancy done. But it is just the opposite direction of what I had assumed and now I can't stop thinking about it. And now I'm also debating in my head whether an accelerated pregnancy or being pregnant for over a year would be scarier.

what if this is the first time the boys in the og timeline have felt homesick since the fall? yes, mc has left before, but there was always a guarantee that they'd return, or at least a possibility that mc could summon them. but now? there's no guarantee, and there's a time crunch

also this means he didn't lose control of his powers, he's choosing to only subdue his brothers, which is even scarier imo. like there's no way mc doesn't have some kind of ptsd from what happened in lesson 16 of the og game

imagine seeing your best friends, your found family, your partner(s) sobbing over your dead body while someone you thought you trusted is maniacally laughing at the scene, proud of murdering you

and then imagine the same person lunging for you to try and kill you after he already killed another version of you

and then imagine this

what if he wants to hurt them again? what if he wants to lock them in the attic he claimed to know nothing about in the earlier lessons? what if he feels some strange connection and sense of familarity related to it, some strange invisible force pulling him towards it and making him do the very thing that happens to him in the future?

and then BAM, they get dragged into his mindscape against their will, unsure if they'll make it back out alive, if they make it out at all

as a certified mammon lover ofc i had to put my 2 cents in

i really, really wish we got more moments of him in big brother mode. we know he cares about his brothers and will do any and everything to protect them and give them what they need, even if it means being the butt of every, and i mean every, joke

but i'm also scared that the devs are gonna use this as a way to paint belphie's breakdown on him like they did with levi's, and like they do with literally every other inconvenience or negative incident that happens in the game. every time mammon does something good, every time he tries to help, he still ends up being the butt of the joke. i just hope we can move past that with the end of belphie's breakdown

Ian was saying that more complex toppings were more ‘mature’ (as opposed to plain cheese pizza which admittedly is popular with children) plus cashews are expensive/fancy/healthy. Is he trying to project a more sophisticated image or something?

Is poor Sunshine the familiar, reliable but boring childhood comfort food he’s leaving behind to try something (or someone) more adventurous and glamorous?

Does he at one point start to see himself as outgrowing them? (In the opening of the game Sunshine expresses the opposite, implying Ian is the one childhood thing they’re nostalgic for. Ouch.)

He seems to talk about cheese pizza like they always get it, like it’s the safe fallback option… hmmm…

Googling brings up stuff about cashews being offered as a pizza topping in some places in the Northwest, others say it originated from some place in California called Dave’s Gay 90s. Can’t speak to the truth of that and don’t know why a young man living in Texas wants it, but perhaps it reflects his aspirations.

California is apparently home to a number of actors that have made it big and perhaps that’s where his acting school is?

So the cheese pizza is his safe childish past with Sunshine and the Californian cashew pizza topping is symbolic of the acting success he’s hoping his adult future will be?

Your analysis is very insightful. I think you did a great job with it. I really like the idea of the pizza being a metaphor for MC and Ian's relationship.

It would sadly make a lot of sense that part of why Ian cheated was because he outgrew the relationship and MC. It/they didn't satisfy him anymore. He wanted new, exciting, more mature things. MC was safe, nostalgic... a piece of Ian's childhood.

It makes sense too why after Ian cheated, MC recklessly abandons anything nostalgic. They're trying to move on from those feelings that Ian took for granted after the cheating tainted them.

It also makes sense why Ian is so desperate to get MC back, as new things, however exciting, are scarier than something safe and familiar.

Sometimes I've heard stories about couples that were together for years since they were teenagers who clicked just right and seemed perfect for one another... only to end abruptly when one partner suddenly starts wanting more. They want to explore independence, other relationships, and everything the world has to offer. They could even regard their partner as perfect even while their feelings have cooled, lamenting that if only they met later in life when they were ready to settle down in a serious relationship... then everything would feel perfect. They wouldn't be feeling this restlessness. The relationship would actually feel satisfying to them.

Then those same restless exes, after cheating, breaking up, whatever, and losing their former partner... They discover that they miss their ex despite being the one to break their former lover's heart when seeking freedom. The other relationships, though exciting, aren't as fulfilling as the childhood sweetheart they dumped. If they can at least stay friends then there's a chance of getting back together, but if not... then it becomes terrifying as their safety net is gone.

Speaking of the fallback option, there's this one picture that isn't necessarily canon where Ian talked about MC as if they were his fallback option if acting didn't work out.

Ian might be showing his insecurity here, but consider the timeline. If acting worked out, he leaves MC to go to his fancy acting school. There, he seems to have made it as a model and actor... and it's (presumably) where he cheated. He got what he wanted, all the excitement and fame of the life of an actor... including an exciting tryst... then he realized that he betrayed all his ideals, everything he said before about only loving and wanting MC, and his relationship with MC all for one moment of excitement.

MC was the comfortable option, the nostalgic option, the safe option... but sometimes a person just wants to take risks, to "grow up" and be adventurous... and sometimes that leads to reckless decisions, like what happened with Ian.

We might not know for sure exactly what led Ian to cheat, but he knows he messed up, as he admits to himself in the demo. He knows he wrecked a good thing... and that's why he's so desperate to get his safe nostalgia back.

Guess cashew pizza wasn't all that it was cracked up to be, was it, Ian?

Just to recap/finalize:

Raph:

• A stormcutter

• Protective, one of the main alphas in the nest (Donnie is the other)

• The third to accept MC as part of the nest

• Is twice the size of normal stormcutters

• His role as alpha is more to protect then provide

Donnie:

• Razorwhip

• Analytical, the first, and the one who brings MC to the nest

• He’s missing a large portion of his tail and has extremely soft scales due to a birth defect, he wears armor made out of other razorwhip shedding

• He provides as an alpha and prefers to provide rather than protect. He goes and steals from islands until MC comes along and shows them FISH.

Leo:

• A Death Song

• when AU properly starts (HTTYD 2) he STILL doesn’t trust MC

• Missing a horn and his tail fin is torn up

• Helps keep the nest calm, the balancer of the scale

Mikey:

The Nest:

In all honesty, I was having issues imagining the nest. My mind kept flip flopping from a scary inactive volcano like the Queens nest from the first movie, or a lush paradise from the second. I eventually settled on how New Berk looks from the third movie. The island itself is completely surrounded by tall rocks and deep forests that scare any Vikings away. Not to mention the constant dragon calls that echo out from anywhere. The deeper you walk the scarier it gets before finally…it comes to a lush paradise

So in the canon, it’d start at the beginning of the first movie, the entire first movie MC is at the nest and just trying to get comfortable. The second movie is when MC really takes an active role, during the Netflix shows timeline MC meets Valka and bonds over their nests. Valka calls MC for help during the second movie, causing MC to lose the nest and the boys. MC helps Berk move but when Hiccup told them to let the dragons go they refused and took the nest and left. Saying that Hiccup should never have asked that and they will aid Berk when they fail due to their loss (rough draft but the majority of the AU happens during the second movie)

This may have been a small update but More Things happened and we gotta talk about it. (Or, I'm gonna talk about it.) More like a ramble, really.

Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Speculation? Let's talk about it. 🤔

Behind the Scenes stuff:

first off, I wouldn't have the ability to even remotely do ANY of this part without @anothersimsstory's CC conversions and I'm glad I had the foresight of downloading it when I did. (they didn't delete their shit or anything but you know how it is sometimes) and the monitor by Theraven (I don't think they have a tumblr? they have a forum tho), and the EKG leads by @jellypawss. It really pays to make niche CC!!

I had to make swatches for the monitor since it is an important visual thing... but it was wholly contingent on me finding something that's close to actual vital signs and I looked everywhere but they were all stock images and obviously didn't work for what I needed. I then had to search high and low for for it, but I found it. For real!! I had to use TWO laptops (one for settings and the other for the actual monitor) and I screenshotted it, slapped it into paint to save it, make it a swatch, rinse/repeat for I think 15? idk how many

you may think, Ennie, that's a bit much, and I say, my attention to detail game is insane when it doesn't need to be but dammit, the visuals have to make sense from a glance. That and the offchance of someone who knows read the monitor would point something out about it. That said! I tried parcing out what EtCo2 is but all I got from it is was "high number bad".

seriously, I spent... a Stupid amount of time setting that up. 🅱️lease clap for me -- I can safely say that I don't think anyone else would go that far.

I told myself after finishing The Incident I was not gonna be doing 5/6 rigs all in one shot again. (🤡)

The lighting situation drove me up the damn wall and after a point, I just said fuck it. What I didn't anticipate was the stark contrast of John and The Werewolf talking and the memory in terms of setting. It's really cool, I think.

I fretted over this part the whole time because I didn't know what order I wanted and what I was going for, but I think I escalated it properly.

For The Werewolf's veins, I had to do the ol' S4S shuffle, but they are a combination of 3, maybe 4 and ofc had to make outfits for the progression, which is why he's still rocking the half-sleeve look (and from an age/timeline stand point makes him 21/22ish). You know what, let's look at them again!

it's a good look

Speaking of... I had to make a lot of The Werewolf solo poses and I found out that uh, it's all in the brows; they can completely change the meaning. It's bad enough with the angles and the general body language. (Or maybe not? Eh.)

Another visual thing -- The Big Scene... that one, I had going back and forth with it until I decided going all white for The Werewolf's eyes (or lack of pupils). It was far more striking and way scarier than the 'blank' eyes I tend to go with.

seriously, I contemplated on tagging it as a jump scare.

Oh! and the shaking of 3 pics, that was spur of the moment because I really kept going back into the post and something was just missing. I have a (cracked) PhotoMosh and I played with the setting a bit and bingo.

It is probably my favorite post so far. I had to settle with the fact that it's not gonna be the one to be spread around. Or any of it really.

Story Stuff:

There's so many crumbs in this! So. Many. There's even a loaf of bread or two. If you tell me what you're picking up on and you're on some kind of track, you get a cookie (🍪). (I'm serious, btw)

John's clearly shook. This may be the first time we've really seen him like this. And The Werewolf is nonchalant... (I will admit John looks very pretty when he's like this lol)

...or is he? I think there are more cracks in the dam than you'd think. A while back in a post that's somewhere on this blog, but John has a tendency to play with his hands when he's anxious.

Another thing that I just noticed is that they didn't really look at each other; I wonder what that's all about?

I've said it once and I'll say it again; even though they share the same body, John and The Werewolf look very different from one another, and I think that's neat.

Jordan being real about taking advantage of the fact that they're getting paid $$$ and they'd be dumb to not take up the offer.

I had to remember that Brian did not know John was a werewolf at this point in time, or even begin to really put 2+2 together. I call it a bit of genre blindness, helped by the fact that this didn't happen all the time. He just rolled with it. Also, wow he looks very young without his tats; ofc this was the college years and he was beginning to fill out/eating good.

Mark is the smartest dude in the whole story. He said, nope, nuh uh, I'm OUT. IYKYK.

There were so many pics I wanted to take of Daniel punching The Werewolf right in the solar plexus (or thereabouts it might've been slightly lower than that). As they say in the FGC, he failed to block that overhead.

I'm glad I decided to leave in the fact that The Werewolf couldn't see too well.

The Werewolf blew his vocal cords out screaming. He said that shit with his soul. Rarely do I go with the funky text with him since that's his "big scary werewolf" voice (that and he rarely speaks like that). My man said "I'll make you suffer my pain." Beautiful. Can't wait to see how that plays out.

That said, The Werewolf did work himself up to the point of nearly killing himself on accident. But as Charles predicted, his body hit the emergency button and shut that shit down.

I spent the most time worried about this part because it needed to get the point across without it being so... cheesy?

also, I have to say? The Werewolf is a Swearwolf. *rimshot*

The Fucking Around part has ended... The Finding Out part is really going to be fun to watch. (I mean, you can already do this if you haven't but now you have way more context.)

There's something about The Werewolf that's becoming apparent (to us). He's still holding back on his actual feelings. Not only that... he hasn't gotten to John himself and I think that's where it's really gonna go down. John knows this; he's not naive to think that he didn't have a role in all of this too. Something to think about.

Charles is a flat out Nasty Man (very derogatory) and yet, I kinda enjoy writing it.

I do love how he is formal with names, "dear ____" and referring to John's formal name Johnathan.

which I always forget this mfer is named Johnathan. Nobody calls him that.

If they ever brough back Danny Phantom, I wouldn’t want a reboot, I would want a continuation.

I wanna see Danny’s life post-finale. It could be high school or college (tbh, I would want high school) but I just wanna see how he navigates everything. Danny is a very angry and closed-off character and since his business is now out there for the world to see, I wanna watch him become more emotionally available to those around him.

I want more episodes with Clockwork because The Ultimate Enemy was so fucking epic and after 18 years, I truly have not recovered from the hype. Plus, Clockwork is so fucking cool and has the potential to be Danny’s greatest ally or enemy or both but he doesn’t have the comic relief that you get from Vlad, which makes him scarier.

I also wish we could have seen more of future evil Danny (and not just because I had a massively insane crush on him and his ghostly wail awakened something in me 🫣). Evil Danny was such an interesting concept because, as mentioned before, Danny is very angry and closed-off. He deals with isolation, seasonal depression, anger issues, trauma from bullying, the fear that his parents wouldn’t accept him, the pressures of being a superhero, plus regular bullshit that every teenager has to deal with.

All this to say that Danny has the makings of a Darth Vader level villain even without his family and friends dying.

It would be so awesome if they played with the multiverse theory and Danny and Clockwork fell into an alternate timeline with his evil self and they have to work together to get to their own timelines (bonus points if they have good banter).

Oh and duh- I want more Danny x Sam content because 10 year old me was so pissed that they didn’t get together until the end.

The show could revolve around Danny’s efforts to prevent himself from turning evil while still living his every day life. Plus, it could be called

Danny Phantom: Resurrection 👻

Christmases in the X-Files universe (or the one we saw) were usually ~spooky~; so, while there are plenty of horror fics out there, I thought making a list with the reverse expectations somehow... fit. (Perhaps I’ll compile a scarier post later.)

Post IVF Failure-- Mulder and Scully find themselves on a rainy highway, without working pulses, phones, or exit strategies. He concludes they died but can’t pass on without making peace with any unspoken regrets. The two exchange tidbits and banter; but it leads them to more meaningful admissions.

1) Well, my absolute favorite theory is that Will has powers.

I'm not sure about creation powers, but I believe he has a power connected to lights/elecricity. And Truesight/shadow walking. I also agree with the theory that Will created the fog that hid the demodogs in the tunnels in S2, because later Mike tells him that during a game he saved the party by casting Fog Cloud.

The connection to Henry/MF/UD, and him being able to spy Henry and maybe even convince him to not destroy the world is cool, really, but imo is not enough for his character, narratively speaking.

Also, it doesn't matter if Will and El are actually siblings. They've been paralleled each other from episode one. They are the Wonder Twins of ST, imo it would be weird if one of them has super powers but the other is just a victim who needs protection. Plus, Will having powers is the type of plot twist the Duffers said they love: the one you should see coming.

2) Love the theory that Will's powers are blocked. At first I thought he had the Soteria in his neck, but Pinkeoni's theory is better. We actually saw what took his powers and when it happened.

When he coughed up the slug. It would be a cool parallel with El. She lost her powers AFTER she killed that thing in her leg. So maybe the same happened to Will. The only weird thing is that it's after he coughed up the slug and supposedly lost his powers that he had the first vision of the UD. So, maybe... it's because when the UD took his powers, the connection between them began?

3) And I LOVE the theory that Will is already in a trance at the end of S4. I talk about it here but other people talked about it first. This theory is awesome because Will in a trance would make the ending of S4 even more dramatic, and S5 would begin with a plot twist! Epic.

4) The Mind Flayer as a living being. A sort of cosmic plant or fungus. Not necessarily evil. But dangerous. Especially after it merged with Henry into (imo) an Elder Brain. I think of it as a Langolier (in the SK novella, they're called Timekeepers)or the power in the cave (LOST) that merged with Jacob's brother and created the Black Smoke. Audrey II in LSOH. The Thing. The Serpent in DnD (as power itself. Time power?) The Nothing. The zombie-ant fungus. A Body Snatcher (The Duffers mentioned this movie in an interview)

I like that the gates growl like a living being, that the tentacles let Vecna fall like a sack of potatoes, and Dart didn't kill Dustin even tho Henry was controlling the hivemind. So many movies that inspired the Duffers have some alien sentient plant/creature that needs hosts. I'm a fan of both human horrors and Eldritch horrors tbh. Even better if they're combined (of course, it is possible). I don't care about human horrors are better! or Eldritch Horror is scarier! Imo, they're both awesome and make horror genre so fascinating.

5) I love the eightfifteen mystery. Is that some sort of constant? The moment when different timelines were created? Cool reference to the Oceanic Flight 815 in LOST.

6) One of my old theories is the Lich theory. DnD Vecna is a lich and in order to become immortal he placed his soul in an object. A phylactery. I'd love it if the grandfather clock was a sort of phylactery

7) And not gonna lie. I also still like the coma theory. The fact that both Henry and El fell into a coma... The two people with powers. And I think Will has powers too? So, maybe? I don't know how long it would last. But it's not impossible.

But now I'm obsessed with another mystery. The last person who went missing in Hawkins, in 1923. I've already found interesting parallels with other stories, but now I found something even better. And it's even mentioned in the show! Yes!

It's so interesting. I'll post about it later. Or tomorrow.
