I wonder what happened to Chell after Portal 2? Aperture is basically in the middle of nowhere after all. Completely alone with her thoughts, plenty of time to think about all that happened to her, as she searches for any sign of human civilization. If there even is a civilization left for her to find.

God, I missed drawing realistically. I also tried painting the background instead of my usual method(of bullshiting it after the character drawn). I don't really do environmental pieces much, so this was a fun challenge. I also tried a more painterly style on the background and I got to say I love it! I'm definitely gonna try this method on a whole piece.

Portal/Portal 2 Hunger Games (Highlights)

I did a Portal Hunger Games that was so perfect–but I didn’t know that saving them was a thing, I kind of hypothesized it was automatically saved. It was so good I can’t bring myself to generate another one, so I’ll write down what I remember:

Rattmann was killed by his own Companion Cube, who died shortly after.

Classic Companion Cube won.

Chell was pretty chill, just “Chell fishes” and “Chell makes a slingshot.”

GLaDOS…somehow died of hypothermia.

P-Body tried to sing themself to sleep, which made me wonder if the co-op bots can make music like the turrets.

I made PotatOS, GLaDOS, and Caroline three separate people for more characters, and I made a character called Combustible Lemon which was supposed to be Cave in a lemon like Caroline in a potato. They were snuggling together for warmth at one point. (Can’t remember if it was before or after GLaDOS died of hypothermia. I think before.)

I made Fizzled Companion Cube 1 and Fizzled Companion Cube 2 (from the Portal 2 chamber) characters, but later realized I should have used Charlie and Grady from Aperture Deskjob.

One of the Fizzled Companion Cubes begged another to kill it, but was refused.

Cave discovered a cave–I actually have one screenshot of the games and this is it, to document  Cave’s cave.

I love how organically weird conversations can get sometimes. Walked in on my husband writing an email to his dad where he was listing out the optimal size to cut potatoes, and then ranking them by how often we cut each size (mashed is apparently a cutting method here)
