I’m proud of the ppgxrrb community (assuming most of them are from MTH) for doing this Barbie Ken jail meme thing with the Greens (very chaotic in character of them) but also quite disappointed that nobody have done the same with the Blues (MTH canonically calls them Barbie and Ken!)

some Brazilian songs that represent some ppg couples because I think you guys are missing out on Brazilian music and I'd like to share.
(this is gonna be a long post so buckle up)
Blossick
"They tell me: the world is in your hands
I guess I let it go then
no, of course I don't love you
but in trying to forget you I'm already remembering us
and if I remember, don't answer me
I swear I don't love you, I just had too much to drink" - Não Te Amo (don't love you), Jão
"I won't talk about love, no
because I don't like anyone
if one day I did, what a shame
(...)
and I won't talk about your eyes
it makes me say the things that I'm afraid to
because they show me what I didn't want to see
and I won't even mention your mouth
I won't say I love you
after spending so long trying to hide it
and I don't even know what I'm talking about
every time I open up I give you an opening to fuck me up" - NÃO VOU FALAR DE AMOR (won't talk about love), Lagum
"Why did you never love me?
why did you hurt me
pretended, lied, never loved me
I wish I could tell you that I
never felt anything for you
I wish that I could uncry
the tears that already ran
and if it already ran (it'll dry)
and if it already dried (no one saw)
I will send it there, to the bridge that fell
this letter that doesn't say" Carta Que Nao Diz (letter that doesn't say), Mariana Froes, Rodrigo Alarcon, Ana Muller
Butchercup
"I like being immature with you
I like to give myself and get lost
I want to be able to nag you on your every manner
smoking anything, just to entertain myself
I risk my life just to see you
all of our youth runs through our veins
it's just, I'm weak, fragile and stupid
to talk about love
but if it's with you, I'll do it" Imaturo (immature), Jão
"The first time I saw you
something told me
"this is gonna end badly"
on the second time, I had the same impression
but I'm not one to listen
to my intuition
it's like something between chaos and stress
but that kind off messes me up
in a good way
baby, don't make me crazy
because I already am
it's just, there really should be a test
anything, a simulation perhaps
to avoid getting into a trap
instead of a relationship
you tell me you hate my outfit
and I really love your dress
when I have the chance to take it off
you tell me that you love me
and I hate you
in a strange way
because nothing is weirder than loving" - EU TE AMO (I Love You), Lagum
"Tell me you hate me
but say you don't live without me
I'm a plague
miss "no shame" from your garden
you're jealous
but you love to watch me dance" - Bem-Me-Quer (He Loves Me, like from the "he loves me, he loves me not" thing), Rita Lee
Boomubbles
"I made these blues for Bia
but Bia won't come and hear
I won't censor the beauty
it's in her nature
living loose around here
I composed sweet melodies
so she would be moved by them
I rhymed with melancholy
my day-to-day without Bia
but Bia doesn't care" - Blues Pra Bia (Blues for Bia) , Chico Buarque (he's like a father to me)
Note: translating this man's songs is almost sacrilegious. Please go listen yourself to at least feel the vibe a little bit. He's a master of lyricism.
"Whoever sees you walking past me like this
doesn't know what suffering is
having to see you in this way
always so pretty
contemplate the sun of your eyes
losing you in thin air
in the certainty of a love
thinking of myself as nothing
because without your kindness
I feel so alone
I drown myself in loneliness" Anna Júlia, Los Hermanos
"Love of my life
from here until eternity
our destinies were traced since maternity
cruel passion, unbridled
I bring you a thousand stolen roses
so you can forgive all of my lies
and all of my blunders
exaggerated, thrown at your feet
I really am exaggerated
I adore a crafted love" - Exagerado (exaggerated), Cazuza

Sometimes Boomer from more than human legitimately scares me, for a lot of reasons, and one of them is that (this coming from a musician), the way he practices music is so foreign to me. He never has to continuously try and learn and ultimately that very human stress just isn’t there for him!!! and i cant even IMAGINE how someone could function like that.. he didn't seem to care or work for anything until bubbles

the variations of how I portray Boomer Jojo (and his hair, cause like Butch, no one can seem to agree on it)
Short hair boomer: the angsty one. If you have read “captive” he is essentially that version of Boomer, just slightly less evil. Angsty boomer is what I portray in my college au, so he’s a lot more mature and “adult” but very different due to the given circumstances that correspond to him not being a villain anymore and just wanted to live a normal life (but still has some quirks. Like trust issues)
I actively preferred short hair boomer for awhile, but now I have changed (slightly)
Long hair Boomer: hair so long it covers his eyes. This is essentially manic Boomer, evil lil charming boy. I like to think he’s like 9S, in that, he looks innocent. But isn’t, and has a lot of trauma to boot
Other hair boomer: this is completely innocent boomer. I hate him

All right. I’m just gunna post the first chapter of Prophecy up. I was waiting to have more chapters under my belt so I could be consistent with updates but lemme tell you, it’s just not working like I wanted it to. And by that I mean life, anxiety and writers block are getting in my way.
SO.
You can look out for Chapter 1 of Prophecy, the sequel to Choices, in the next week. It’ll be on ao3 & ff.net. Links to me on those sites are on my tumblr page. I’ve posted this shit now so I’ve got to do it! 😅

“I’m not as dumb as I look!” Boomer shouted with anger, his eyes trained on the ground as he continued to glare at it.
“I don’t think you look dumb at all...” a small voice said.
Boomer looked to his side because that’s where the voice came from.
‘Woah,’ he thought, ‘she’s cute.” Not long after the thought, he grimaced. ‘Ew, a girl.’
He shook his head, and looked back at the girl who wasn’t that much shorter than him.
“You don’t?” He finally responded. He looked her up and down, before scanning her face to see if she was making fun of him in any way. But she wasn’t.
“No…” she trailed off, eyes shyly on the ground, looking at some squirrel who chewed on an acorn.
“I think you look nice…” she fumbled with her hands behind her back. “Well, I’m not,” He glared.
The girl in front of him slightly flinched when her eyes came up to meet his. Her eyes were almost immediately back on the ground.
“Oh…” she said, not sure of what to say. Boomer was confused to say the least. Did this girl not know who he was? What he was capable of? That he terrorizes the city every other day?
“Go get me some candy!” He blurted, remembering Brick’s orders from not too long ago. Her head snapped up at him. “O-Okay!” She turned away from him, and quickly walked to the nearest candy store, which wasn’t far.
Before she opened the door to the candy store, she turned back around, and marched back up to Boomer.
He looked at her with a confused face. Did she not hear me? I just said to get me some-
“What kind of candy do you like?” She asked. Boomer was stunned.
What kind of candy did he like? Yeah, he always eats candy, but it’s always the kind Brick or Butch likes. He tends to forget the names of it, so he shrugs.
“I dunno, what kind of candy do you like?” He asked, curious to see if he’d like her recommendations.
Her eyes lit up. “Jawbreaker!” She chimed, delighted. His eyes lit up too. “I like that too!” He smiled. Y/N gasped, “really?” “Yeah!” “Yay!” She squealed.
“Do you want cotton candy too?” “What’s that?” He asked curiously. “Isn’t it some sort of cotton ball?” He asked, seriously. She giggled at him, he tilted his head in confusion. “No, silly! It’s-” but then she registered his words for real. ‘Wait. It is sort of like a cotton ball…
“Wait, you’re right! It is sort of like a cotton ball!” She nodded, agreeing with him.
‘I’m right?’ He questioned himself. Boomer smirked, proud of himself. Of course I’m right! She was the first ever person to agree with what he’s said, and man, did it feel good.
“Yeah! It’s like a cotton ball, but it tastes good!” She explained, excited to taste some at the moment.
“We’ll, go get some!” He ordered, wanting to taste good cotton balls. “Do you want to come with me?” She asked, hopeful. He nodded with eagerness. “That’s a good idea,” he thought. “Yeah!”
The both of them made their way inside the candy store, filling up their cart with loads of jawbreakers, cotton candies, and more sweet candy. Y/N was sitting inside the cart as Boomer pushed it, knocking some lollipops on top of her, she giggled, letting it fall into the basket.
She was buried with candies, the wrappers making her neck itch a little, but she was fine, smiling. Having a great time. The cashier was keeping an eye on them the whole time. I mean, how could he not. One of the rowdyruff boys was in his shop, but nevertheless, he wasn’t calling for help.
That was until Boomer rushed out the store with the cart still in his hands. A dark streak of blue trailing after him as he made his escape. Y/N was screaming at how fast they were going. Boomer just smirked, enjoying the wind that was whipping past him.
In a matter of seconds, they were in a public park where more kids were playing. Colorful butterflies were fluttering their pretty wings, as the pretty calm birds chirped.
But Y/N was still screaming.
“Shh! Shh! It’s okay!” He tried his best at comforting her, and it worked. She stopped screaming.
She had just committed a crime.
And it was fun.
“We were going so fast!” She exclaimed, trying her best to turn towards him, the candy surround her making it hard to do so.
Boomer gave her a small smile before helping her out of the basket. Effortlessly placing her on the brown wooden bench that had the perfect view of all the kids.
Soon, they were both seated, eating candies from the cart as they continued to talk.
“Wanna try the cotton candy?” Y/N asked, excited to share the same love for the sweet as so was Boomer.
“The good cotton balls?” He questioned. She giggled again, “Yeah!”
“Oh! Then, yes!” He nodded, watching her get up, and reach over the basket, digging for the cotton candy. She moved lollipops, suckers, bubble gums, chocolates, and more before she reached the blue cotton candy.
She chose the blue cotton candy over the pink because she thought Boomer would like the blue more. It reminded her the color of his eyes. Even though, the cotton candy wasn’t dark blue, it was still blue, and she thought he’d like it.
Boomer slightly bounced his leg, excited to taste the candy. He watched as Y/N opened the clear bag of the blue cotton candy. She softly tore a small piece for Boomer to eat, just in case he didn’t like it.
She handed it to him, her fingers slightly brushing up against his fingers. She blushed, as she smiled, silently waited for him to eat it.
Boomer plopped the blue cotton candy into his mouth as it melted on the center of his tongue. He hummed, satisfied with the taste. His eyes dilated, sweetness filling him.
“Give me more,” he demanded, “a bigger piece,” he was craving for more sweetness.
She giggled, “Okay,” tearing him off a bigger piece, handing it to him. Then, she tore some off for herself.
After a while of silence, sharing the cotton candy, as they watch the other kids play. Boomer decided to break the silence.
“So, how long have you been in Townsville?” Boomer asked, grabbing a jawbreaker from the basket.
“Not long,” she answered honestly, “maybe two weeks?” She plopped a red gummy bear into her mouth.
Well, that explains why she didn’t know who he was.
“Hey, I was meaning to ask, how are you able to fly, and…lift me up really high? Only my dad can do that,” she curiously asked. The only people she knew who could move at incredible inhumane speed, and fly were the-
“Stop right there, Boomer!”
Y/N flinched as she looked up to see the Powerpuff girls.
Boomers body tensed, as he looked up. He rolled his eyes, “What do you want?” He glared.
Bubbles was the first to noticed Y/N. She gasped, “what are you doing here, Y/N?”
Buttercup looked over at the said girl, “with him?” She finished Bubbles sentence.
”We’re hanging out,” she answered, shrugging her shoulders. “ are you aware he stole the candy that you’re eating?” Blossom asked, sure that you didn’t know.
“No, she didn’t know,” Boomer answered for her, glaring at the red headed girl.
“I figured, now you’re coming with us to pay for your crimes!” Blossom exclaimed, her body ready for a fight because she knew he’d refuse.
“No! Don’t hurt him!” Y/N’s shirt legs jumped up, and ran in front of Boomer, protecting him. “I won’t let you take him!” She held her arms out, guarding him.
The girl’s gasped, surprised by Y/N’s actions. “I-I’ll pay for the candy.” Boomer stood silently behind Y/N, watching her defend him. It was nice to see someone stick up for him. It warmed his heart. It wasn’t something that happened often.
Sure, Brick and Butch always defended him when it came to other people, but that was because they had to. They’re his brothers, of course they have to.
But the way Y/N did it, it was an action that was filled with care and determination.
“Y/N, I’m sure you’re not aware of who he is-” Blossom started, ready to explain the mistake you’re making.
“He’s my friend! And you will not touch him!” Y/N exclaimed. His heart warmed at that. Friend. She quickly turned around to face Boomer. “Run, Boomer! Run away!” She pleaded.
She was aware of what the girls did to people who committed crimes. She didn’t want that happening to Boomer, her eyes watered. Boomer became angry, he didn’t know why. All he knew was that the Powerpuffs made his friend cry.
“They’re gonna hurt you, Boomer!” She cried more. “Please run!” She exclaimed.
The only way for her to stop crying was if Boomer got out of sight, and away from the girls, and so he did just that.
He bolted away, a dark blue streak trailing behind him. He’ll find her again.
