some of you may know this about me but i frequent estate sales and i just want to tell you all about my favorite find

a couple other girlies and i were digging through piles and piles of clothes and shoes, most clothes were XL, and size 8.5 shoes. however, one of the girls announces to the room “is anyone a size 11?” and the girl next to me looks up, and the first girl hands her a pair of adorable coach kitten heels. we all gasp in delight! a score!

so i joke to the room, ‘if anyone finds a size 6 let me know!’ knowing full well that everything we’ve found so far has been a much larger size.

HOWEVER. the girl who had just received the coach heels looks up at me and goes “no way. i have something for you.” and she hands me a pair of gorgeous leather boots and goes, “they’re your size. and they’re prada.”

THEYRE PRADA.

i have never clutched something to my chest so fast. the guy at the front goes “oh those are nice. we can do $20.” TWENTY DOLLARS. FOR VINTAGE PRADA BOOTS.

anyway these boots are part of my personality now. i wear them every other day. i wear them to target and to the mall and t drink with friends. and one day i want to find that girl and return the favor, because she literally changed the trajectory of my life. i’m a pointy boots girl now!
