Monday, August 14, 2023

Today truly marks a remarkable day for me as it is my first day back at work after a significant break. Additionally, I am overjoyed to share the incredible news that my father will be discharged from the hospital today.

Reflecting on this moment, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and admiration for all the prayers and support we received during this challenging time. We are truly fortunate and blessed that God has answered our prayers by guiding my father towards a swift recovery.

As I step into this new chapter at work, I carry a renewed energy and a profound appreciation for life's blessings. The significance of this day reminds me that with faith and determination, we can conquer any obstacles that come our way.

Tonight we pray for the momma who doesn't realize how beautiful she is. Lord, many days she just doesn't feel beautiful. Perhaps it's the tired rings under her eyes or just plain exhaustion that makes her feel this way. Lord, please remind her that she is so beautiful to her children. She is the one that they look to for almost everything and she is the face that makes them smile and feel safe. Lord, bless this momma tonight because she is also beautiful and precious in Your eyes. He family! Hope all is well with you and yours. 🙏 I want to thank those who are still praying for my dad, James. We finally got answers on what had been causing him to lose too much weight and been hindering his ability to eat and drink. His surgery for a collapsed esophagus is on Feb. 1st. Please pray he gets an appointment sooner. Pray he is in good spirits and that he will be hydrated and nourished back to health protect him and guide the hand of his surgeon and the Ruach Hakodesh will surround comfort and peace. There’s nothing like just watching the snow fall so graciously from the heavens.

I gather such a peace from it.

I prayed for snow as a little girl in a state that hardly ever got it. I walked out of church service and there it was, my first ever snowfall. And now I live in a place where it snows all the time in winter. God surely hears your prayers, even multi fold than what we realize.

So now, every time I see it snow, I think of how God hears every little prayer, no matter how big or small, he listens to all. ❄️
