Rome, Milan, Venice on first day of quarantine.
From 10 march 2020 the whole country of Italy is in lockdown because of coronavirus. it means you can’t leave the house unless it’s strictly necessary, it's all locked down except hospitals and grocer's shops.
We’re currently at 10.149 positive cases, it's a very dramatic situation, the hospitals here are on the verge of collapse, we are very terrified and worried, our economy is already a disaster, so please help us and donate here on the links. Or at least reblog please and think about us in your prayers. Thank you.

I write from what is now considered a "red area" due to Coronavirus' outbreak.
Despite my medical education and knowledge, I must admit I underestimated this danger and I now find myself living in this unreal situation I was not prepared for.
Right now, I cannot attend lectures at University, I cannot go on with my internship and turns out I cannot even go out for dinner with my friends. And I'm totally fine with this.
I am accepting the measures taken by the Italian government because I know that this is the least we can do to prevent the situation from getting worse and everyone should do as well.
The truth is people are getting sick. Old people, young people and yes, even children. Many of them heal, many of them just suffer from flu-like symptoms but we still have to be responsible, because there are people who need intensive care, people who can't keep breathing on their own and people who die. And it doesn't matter if they are already of old age or if they have other illnesses as well, they are still people. They could be our grandparents, our neighbours, our friends and we need to protect them. We even need to protect ourselves: we need to stay at home for as long as we can, avoid contact with other people, in order to slow down the spreading of the virus. Right now, ICUs in Italy are overcrowded and they will soon reach the limit of people they can treat.
So I say, to everyone, please stay safe. Stay at home and, if you truly can't, then be careful and keep your distance from people. If you experience any of the known symptoms, call your family doctor or the emergency numbers. Don't go outside and, most of all, don't go to the E.R. on your own.
Protect yourself. Protect your family and friends. Protect human life.
As Dr. Mike always says: alert, not anxious.

This is a difficult time for all of us. There are people suffering all around the world from corona virus. We can't reverse it or make it go away in a snap. We are also enable to get things back to normal without cooperation. Even then, what about the people who are already infected? What about their families? What about those who cannot pay for their treatments? What about the uninfected? Are they safe? We are unable to find these answers
But we can hope, we can pray for our safety and for the betterment of others. We can help those in need. Though assisting can mean donating and stuff too, but sometimes praying to God has immense power.
Therefore Let's create a prayer chain and make the people suffering realize that we are there for them.
Thank you so much💕

This difficult time for my country many people every day find themselves singing in the windows at 6pm. We are almost all forced to stay at home for our health. Schools of all grades are closed. our education proceeds through telematic lessons. Workers who can work through internet, work from home. You can only go out alone for essentioal goods. Shops are all closed except for groceries and a few others. Time passes very slowly. But we must resist, we must strive to stay at home, because even though the virus can be "just a flu" for healthy people, there are many others who have low immune defences, such as the elderly and sick people. We must not risk contracting the virus just because we might transmit it to friends and relatives who might not be as lucky as we are.
Until two weeks ago we went out and had fun like you do. Now we have more than 1,800 dead, people who lost their lives who were loved by someone. Stay safe.
There are people who continue to work every day risking contagion, risking their lives. Pray for these people. Pray for doctors, nurses and all health care workers. Pray for the pharmacists and all the others who, even if they are not named, are still out there working for our safety.

Italy’s message to the world.
This post should be read in its entirety. Whover posted this was increasingly informative about the situation. This post reminds us that WE NEED TO STAY HOME. This pandemic will not get better if we do not practice cleanliness and we do not practice social distancing. After China, Italy became the epicenter of this pandemic with more than 10,000 deaths and with a rate of 700+ deaths in one day. This is a warning and an example for the world to practice safety if you want to live another day.

PSA for all of my British and non-British friends (like me) who are hoping to attend Taylor’s BST show in Hyde Park, later this summer.
What are we living right now in Italy is HELL. Literal hell. We underestimated the situation and went from patient 1 to patient 1258 in less than 5 days. It’s been three weeks and we have 15,000 people sick (1,258 are dead). This all happened because we didn’t act promptly when the Virus arrived in our country. As of right now, there is absolutely no proof that flock immunity works with COVID-19. As a result, we are stuck in a quarantine: no going out and all shops (except for supermarkets) closed in THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. Boris Johnson is acting irresponsibly and as a real dictator. There’s no humanity in the sentence ‘be prepared to lose your loved ones’... no one should ever ‘be prepared’. The virus CAN be contained and CAN be fought with the right precautions.
Please, for the sake of your loved ones and yourselves, and especially if you are in touch with elderly people, DO NOT SUPPORT THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT’S DECISIONS. I’m speaking to all my Swifties friends, because we proved times and times again that we are a force of nature: STAY HOME. PROTECT YOURSELF.
I hope I’ll see you all in Hyde Park and that we can celebrate together💓
Stay safe.

When you're ready to hit the beach but it's almost time for bed 😅🏖️🌅⁣ ⁣ We are still here praying and trying to do our best to help the people in Italy who are facing so much heartache right now. I think one way we can help is by making a plan to visit the beautiful country once all this is over.⁣ ⁣ If you've never been to Puglia, it has some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy and the food is amazing. Can't wait to go back one day with these kiddos. They had a blast.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣@carryonwithkids @carryonwithdad @carryonwithmom #takethekids #nodistancetoofar #familytravel #travelmom #traveldad #familytraveltips #familytravels #familyvacation #familytravelplanner #familytraveltribe #carryonwithkids #physicaldistancing #socialdistancing #iostoacasa #flattenthecurve #iostoacasa #justfollowsomeone #stayhome #weloveitaly #prayforitaly https://www.instagram.com/p/B-CoayKFLI5/?igshid=1v0ap88t00kny
