manifesting a s7 bi buck confirmation where the 118 are on a call and the victim/their friend/Random Civilian is getting annoyed makes a comment aimed at buck & eddie about "straight white men" and they both look offended then eddie says "do I look white???" and buck's like "do I look straight???"
how the others react (if at all) is tbc at this stage
i'm a sucker for inappropriate whisper arguments in the Absolute Worst of Situations so now all i'm seeing is eddie whipping around to buck when he says it with the widest doe eyes any human being has ever achieved and oblivious little buck waving the vic/friend/civilian off like "it's fine, could happen to anyone, you know" and then eddie's like "uh, yeah, it did, you're not straight?" and then it's like for the GA oh no are they going to do a kind of internalised homophobia arc for eddie where he re-examines his entire friendship with buck after finding out he likes men and yes he is going to re-examine his entire friendship with buck after finding out he likes men but it'll be the opposite of internalised homophobia (externalised homoeroticism)
house md wildest show on earth. a main character outright assassinates a known dictator, a moment that would be the very beginning or the mid-series crisis in any other show - an act which creates a power vacuum in a foreign nation already filled with child soldiers and genocide, and it's literally only brought up again throughout the season because that guy's wife divorces him over it. and occasionally to explore his relationship with who he is as a person and a catholic after having deliberately taken a life for what he calculates as the greater good, but mostly it's about his divorce
So I watched the movie damsel or damsel in distress and omg I guess i have finally found one of the best movies that netflix have ever made. What a great story, what a great concept and omg what great characters.
I loved the character development of our protagonist and holy I got goosebumps in so many scenes. AND HELLO???? the dragon was talking?
Oh and I really really liked the design of the dragon. It was something new to me? Like it has it´s own style in my opinion. And how they built up the whole thing to show the dragon to us or how the story was built up in general. Like the plottwists were really cool. Two hours felt so short and i really could have watched three more hours. <3
So 10/10 i would say and a movie i would recommend.
I just remembered the performance reviews thing and like it would never happen but I'm making myself cry laughing at the idea of bobby sitting down across from buck like

Saint Kristen Applebees, former chosen one of Helio, who died in service to Helio her first day of freshman year fighting side by side with her party, who met her god and decided he was a douchebag, who eventually went on to aid and revive her new god Cassandra, the goddess of doubt, who lost Cassandra but is still holding on to the pieces of her left because doubt saved Kristen’s life so she’ll save Cassandra
Buddy Dawn, current cleric of Helio, who does not die from fighting with his party, who dies because of his party, because of a trap his party set, who seems to want to do right but who is so deeply held in his convictions, so deeply indoctrinated that Doubt cannot touch him
