Arguing with Jaemin had become the worst thing in the world. In the midst of the heated exchange, Jaemin stands before you with a demeanour untouched by the storm around. His expression, as steady as ever, portrays an unwavering calm. As your emotions spill over, he absorbs the turmoil with the patience of someone who understands your vulnerability and the fragility. He knows you well, he knows how he should react.

While you unleash a torrent of words, Jaemin remains silent, a stoic figure in the face of emotional chaos. His stillness is a counterpoint to your passionate outburst. Tears stream down your face, and the intensity of the moment becomes palpable. You're caught in the whirlwind of emotions, uncertain of the origin of these words and unsure if regret will follow.

You yell and yell until your voice stops. "We're only fucking, this is only sex. You're not my boyfriend, and I never, ever said that this was more. I never gave you the fucking impression, so you are not allowed to stand there and tell me that — you are not — for fuck sake, Jaemin! I am not yours!!!!!"

The room absorbs the weight of your words, each syllable hanging in the air. Your outburst lays bare the complexities of your connection, an unspoken tension finally breaking free. Jaemin, still and silent, absorbs the storm, his expression a canvas of unreadable emotions.

"Stop trying to push me away because I'm not going anywhere. I'm not. You may not be mine, but I'm always gonna be yours."

Finally breaking his silence, Jaemin's words resonate with a softness that mirrors his calm demeanour and is a contrast to your outburst. His tone remains a gentle stream, never rising in volume. His consistent kindness, a pillar of your relationship, manifests in this moment, leaving you pondering what you've done to deserve such understanding.

"And what the fuck do you mean you're not mine? You're my girl. You're mine. You have been mine, and you're always going to be mine. I don't know if you're in denial or if you're just being delusional, but you know it. We're each other's; we belong together. So stop trying to fucking push me away. The more you push me away, the more I'm gonna need you.”

His words, delivered with unwavering calmness, echo through the room, emphasizing not just his assertion of your connection but also the depth of his patience and understanding. The room echoes with your cries until your voice fades into an uneasy silence.

Finally breaking, you melt into his arms, your grip tight as if afraid he might slip away. He holds you even closer. His lips brush against your forehead in a sweet and tender kiss, a gesture that echoes the gentleness of his soul. The way he cradles you, patient and understanding, contrasts the storm within you.

His chest offers a soft and broad expanse that feels like a safe haven. The rhythmic rise and fall of his breathing beneath your touch becomes a soothing lullaby, grounding you in the present moment. His arms, strong and reassuring, encircle you in a protective hold. The gentle pressure of his grip is a silent promise that he won't let go, that he'll weather the storm with you.

Tears well up, distorting your vision into a blurry haze. The world around you dissolves into indistinct shapes and dark color as the weight of self-loathing and disappointment descends upon you. In this moment, you can't escape the haunting realisation that you've inflicted this pain upon yourself.

You're too out of it to even notice what's going on around you—scared and worried looks from all your friends circling around, creating a protective barrier. The air is tense with arguing and back-and-forth discussions as it's happened again; you've relapsed.

Amidst the chaos, Jaemin is the one you focus on, your eyes are always on him. Though you can't hear what he's saying, the determination in his eyes speaks volumes. He defends you and fights for you in a way no one ever has, a way you're not accustomed to. Jaemin knows what's best for you; he understands you more than anyone else ever could. Having seen you in your most vulnerable and broken state, he remains the only one who doesn't look at you with disappointment, even you look at yourself with such self loathing.

Jaemin's unconditional support shines as a testament to his understanding and kindness, a stark contrast to the judgement you feel, even from yourself. His role is clear—to be the anchor in the storm, standing by your side with a love that sees past the brokenness, reminding you that you are more than your struggles.

Kneeling down, Jaemin locks eyes with you, holding your hands firmly in his. In this moment, it's just you and him. Suddenly, you're transported to a safer place where the stares from all around dissipate. His soft smile reassures you as he gently takes away the bottle in your hand, screwing it shut and tossing it aside. He replaces it with his own bottle, opening your mouth with his gentle fingertips and feeding you water with unwavering attention.

Amidst the tearful haze, you can't break away from his gentle gaze. Surprisingly, there's no anger, only a calm and collected demeanour. You’re not used to someone looking at you like this. Tears stream down your face, and you feel guilt, but he remains unfazed. His voice is calm yet firm as he assures you, "You did nothing wrong?”

Shaking your head frantically, he’s not right, you fucked up again, like always. However you're met with his continued calmness. "Baby, you did nothing wrong. You made a mistake. So what? You can learn from it. I'm always here for you; I'm not going anywhere. I'll hold your hand through every second of this."

In that tender moment, Jaemin's gentle voice becomes a soothing melody, instructing you to take slow, deep breaths. His hand rests softly on your back, the rhythmic rise and fall a reassuring cadence. With each inhale, he encourages you to let go of the tension, and with every exhale, the weight of the world seems to lift.

His words are a lifeline, grounding you in the present, steering your focus away from the turmoil within. Jaemin's fingers provide a subtle rhythm, a tactile reminder that you are not alone in this struggle. As you follow his lead, the air transforms into a calming force, diluting the anxiety that had gripped you.

Your face reveals it all – guilt and sadness etched into every expression. A simple look into your eyes is enough for him to understand, and you know that he knows. OOC: I would have loved to answer this IC, but deciding what Trickster/Ji-Woon would listen to takes tons of headcanon space in my brain, which would take too long to think about to properly reply.

Zico - Freak This has been in my top songs for 3 months (since it was released) It overthrew Any Song, which was reigning supreme last year! She's a Baby is also one I adore a lot, Balloon & Being Left always hurt my heart (Dean's vocals are fantastic), and not to mention Anti is such a strong statement song.

2. Block B - Her This song, choreography, video, and aesthetic make me happy! Very Good is my gateway song to BB, but I've listened to Her more often recently. Their sub-group stuff Bastarz's whole I'm a Mess album is super sexy, and it's a treat anytime I get to hear P.O.'s vocals!

3. Enhyphen - Drunk-Dazed Sexy, Hype, and Catchy! It was great to see the performance in person, and one of my favs right next to Fever and One in a Billion!

4. DPR Ian - No Bluberries DPR as a duo is so talented and they work hard to self-produce! Though this song mostly DPR Ian is one of my favs for the tone. Scaredy Cat comes in right next to this one, but honestly, all their songs are REALLY my style. (They have a nice Indie sound)

5. Kai - Peaches "Pretty girl you're like peaches~" It's such a lovely song and I love the soft sound. It always gets quickly stuck in my head if I listen, and Kai's concept seemed so cute. I always remember how happy he seemed to have released this song, and that he wanted a fantasy feel.

6. Wonho - Ain't about you King is conquering the English vocals, and with such a sultry and good duet, they really balance out the song. The beat reminds me of being trendy and as if it belongs in Dislyte!

7. PRETTYMUCH, CNCO - Me Necessita The boy band sound with Spanish lyrics and a reggaeton beat made this a big hit on my playlist. I love it so much! Their other song Would You Mind is so fun and has such an 80s-90s sound it makes it a fun listen!

8. Salem Ilse, TXT, Alan Walker - PS5 I'm a console gamer, so this song was relatable! The vocals are gorgeous and the beat's so catchy, I end up humming this song a lot.

9. Vaundy - Tokyo Flash This just has such a great sound. It's very indie sounding and has a great melody to lyric composition. Everything compliments so well.

10. Phoenix - If I Ever Feel Better Honestly, this song always makes me sentimental and grateful. I'm putting it here because I think everyone needs to hear this at least once. No matter how hard things get, and how un-ending it feels, it's always nice to have a positive outlook; sometimes when it doesn't feel like you're reaching any goals, something as nice as spending time with someone you cherish and having a good time is what we should look forward to, to enjoy our lives. It's a reminder to not forget the love and support we receive, and look forward to good days! Maybe to be kinder and take things easier on ourselves and make our happiness an important goal. (But other than that, I really adore Lisztomania from them too)

hey joyce, how have you been lately? i hope you are doing well. i haven’t managed to get any asks in lately because my life has been really overwhelming, in good and bad ways. i finally got back to in person classes after being virtual for 2 - 3 years, so no more loneliness and isolation, but me having social anxiety and being introverted has kinda stunted me from going “out there” socially. i did make a few new friends tho :) *pt 1*

since the school year is wrapping up i have finals this and next week, and i am so burnt out i can’t even function properly, like this morning, i went to wrong class all the way across campus, but i was unsure if i had that class so i went back to my dorm, then stirred up the courage to go ask, only find out i was in the wrong class, so i had to walk across campus (again) to get to the right class. i did get clowned for that by my friends, but i love them anyways. *pt 2*

also i found out i’m pan, not bi because of this new nonbinary kid in one of my classes that i might have a crush on. they complimented my digital art, and said they dabbled in it too, and i’m falling so hard. i want to get to know them better before confessing tho. (sorry for so many parts, the ask box will only let me type so much) *pt 3*

i think my depression has gotten better, at least that’s what my therapist told me, and from all the walking ive been doing, i gotten in better shape, so less body insecurities, yay! this month has been a whirlwind for me,(im kinda being dramatic here) but i'm so glad my life has changed for the better. thanks for hearing me out. feel free to get anything you need to off of your chest, or just tell hhow things have been lately. be well! -🌿

I'm so happy to hear your doing better and since it's been a few years since you've been in in person classes it's understandable, it's your first time out in the world since the unfortunate events occured. But I'm sure as you get more comfortable being back around people. it'll get a little easier to be more social. I'm so sorry to hear you've been burnt out. Just breath and remember you're almost there and you'll have a whole summer to destress and hang out with all your new friends and even make more. And yes being friends first will also make any connection even stronger. And I hope everything continues to get better for you.

And I'm fine. I actually talked to a boy on the phone in the first time in a long time. And I was just giggling, curled in a ball on my couch. And he's cute and really sweet and a weird mix of the type of guys I attract. Like sweet awkward gentle anime nerd and the straight forward only here for one thing. It's interesting! He looks like Brandon from Prettymuch. Honestly in Miami the members of Prettymuch represent the dating pool here. I always end up with a Brandon, Nick and for sure an Austin. Speaking of Prettymuch I always forget they have a song with NCT Dream, pretty much about getting consent, it's beautiful. There should have been an mv cause it didn't get the recognition it deserves. Also I watched Pam & Tommy on Hulu and couldn't finish it. one, the way Pamela is betrayed just doesn't feel right. It made me angry how the actress portrayed her. Also what's with current media and the unnecessary penises I am not a prude at all. Trust me. Every Snapchat I receive is a penis I see them everyday. But like why the fuck was it talking!? And Pam didn't want any part of it that should have stopped me but I was curious. I couldnt finish it. Yo I once met a guy who looked just like Logan Paul but with brown hair. But he liked feet.....I'm not proud of that moment of my life. I'm also ashamed I know the lyrics to everyday bro. Not Logan's songs though he knows how to make catchy songs don't judge me. I could not keep a single train of thought. Im sorry. It's really nice to hear that despite some harder things you're doing really well. I'm so happy for you.

Plots based off of PRETTYMUCH songs:

Healthy : Muse A is the type of person who has never taken relationships seriously, always being in it more for the chase and they’re quite good at luring people in. They’re friends constantly poke fun at them about how one day they’re going to fall hard for someone and want to change their ways. In comes Muse B who has just moved into town and was immediately welcomed into Muse A’s group of friends. Muse A is completely oblivious as to how taken they are with them and slowly begins to realize this as the two of them become attached. Muse A considers it unhealthy and tries their best to avoid Muse B as per their usual routine but fails every time.

On My Way : Muse A and Muse B have been on and off since they were in High school, long enough that they’ve fallen into a steady routine. The two of them fight over the smallest things and wind up getting back together after cooling off. One night during one of their fights Muse A has had enough and storms out of the house, heading to one of the local clubs with their friends to get their mind off of it, saying their done with Muse B for good. Muse B is at home going crazy before they decide to drive down and search for Muse A in every club to win them back.

Gone 2 Long : Muse A and Muse B have grown up in the same town for all of their lives, it isn’t until their senior year and the approaching graduation that Muse B finally builds up the nerve to ask Muse A out. After hitting it off, the two become official, only to be hit by the hard truth that they would soon be leaving for college, Muse A being accepted into a school out of state and Muse B to one in state. Not wanting to end it there, they try out a long distance relationship through calls and face-time. Slowly Muse A becomes busier and busier, their contact less frequent. Even with Muse B going to visit for weekends it doesn’t seem like enough, the two of them are forced to face what the future of their relationship will be.

Phases : Muse A has never really had luck when it comes to love and relationships, having been through just about everything from being cheated on and strung along in hopes of something permanent. Muse B is one of Muse A’s friends, who hasn’t had much luck themselves when it comes to romance, having been run out on. It isn’t until the two of them are drunk and kissing that Muse B realizes how they feel for Muse A. Muse B confesses to Muse A and they start a relationship where Muse A only uses Muse B for comfort in between bad dates/hookups and Muse B allows this to go on in the hopes that Muse A will eventually one day choose them.

Solita : Muse A has been through hell, being cheated on by their latest partner they decide to go out. After calling all their friends to no avail they decide to go out anyway, not wanting to stay at home. Looking their best Muse A lets go at the club, where they meet Muse B, a wealthy good looking smooth talker. Muse B, captivated by Muse A, asks them to dance and after some effort and many drinks Muse A agrees. Now Muse A is waking up naked in a hotel room on some beach south of the border with Muse B who wants to give them everything they’ve ever wanted, only to find out later just how Muse B makes their money.

Lying : Muse A and Muse B used to be the golden couple, when asking their close friends and family, no one really knows why the two of them ended things. Muse A now had a new partner and Muse B is a huge success with money to spare. Still the two of them constantly call each other drunk just to hear each others voice and meet up to hook up. They constantly try to end things and lie to each other to make themselves feel better but they still wind up going back to their old ways, until Muse B decides they want more.

Blind : Muse A is a delicate person with a glass heart and Muse B is the opposite, a strong person with thick skin.The two have a completely different point of view and hardly agree on anything. Muse B, whom is a professional boxer, has given Muse A happiness, love and has made sure to provide for them. Muse A is constantly arguing with Muse B about how dangerous it is and how much they dislike them getting hurt. Muse A, with a heavy heart decides to leave Muse B, only to find out later that due to brain injuries in the ring Muse B is now blind, rushing them back to their side.

Hello : Muse B has been making music since they were in high school, wanting to someday become famous despite everyone’s doubts of them ever making it. Muse A has been a long time crush of Muse B, whom they constantly try to impress by writing them songs and asking them out, getting rejected every time. Surprisingly, during one of their attempts to publicly ask out Muse A by singing them a song at a club Muse B gets discovered. A year later Muse B is now big on the charts and is in the studio when Muse A calls them up wanting to go out after hearing a song they wrote for them on the radio.
