Masks are mostly for the safety of other people, to avoid spreading illnesses that you may be carrying and they don't do a whole lot to actually protect the masked person. If you're still recovering from an infection, going to a really populated event with a lot of unmasked people is a big threat to your health even if you're masked yourself :(

...Yeah :( You're both right... I hate this so much. I really want to be able to celebrate with my community - especially with my new friends and coworkers at the lgbt center. But legit only 2 of them wear masks... Everyone else makes this event dangerous for me to go, and it hurts so badly. I want to have pride. I want to smile at drag performances. I want to eat good food and maybe win some prizes, especially cause Im broke. I just want to be happy. I havent gone to a sizeable pride event in 5-6 years, and it was the only one Ive ever went to.

But every time I get sick my health gets worse. My doctor told me Im immunocompromised literally 1-2 weeks ago. I just wanna cry, genuinely think not being able to go to this is gonna kick off my monthly mental health crisis. Ive been clinging to anything that makes me happy and when that falls thru the cracks, I just cant handle it.

But at least I can go to the trans support groups pride events... Even then Im scared cause people they are going to the big event tomorrow and all but 2 of them wear masks (aka my friends, who are now my kn95 supply). Fuck =/

it rained today!!! finally!!!!

i went to a pride event for the first time, it was so fun and i had so much fun :) i got a pair of earrings, a pin thingo, a lot of stickers and other freebies and i really liked it, hopefully i can go again next year.

i didn't get much done but that's ok (ill hate myself tmrw lmfao)

i also kinda failed an exam but tbh i hate my class and hopefully i get to quit next year.

Grey was absolutely furious. Not only he couldn't find his car's keys, he was also very but very hangover from the last night. He shouldn't drink that much, he was always quite civilized when it comes to drink. Now it seems like he just couldn't help himself.

He found himself in the middle of live music, wondering streets of Downtown, until he came to the restaurant, where he dropped his keys this morning. Well, hopefully. Only today he didn't have another key from car, as he was usually caring it around.
