Another year, another 365 days of strife. In 2020 when I made the pride art, the pandemic has already started, things seems to only be going downhill. Back then, we talked about survival, living long. And we made it to this year. The problems are not gone yet, but at least neither are we.
For those lives that were lost, in wars, in sickness, in injustice, we live on. Treasure the fight that is left in you and carry it for those who cannot. I’ll see you again in next year’s Pride.
Hey y'all! I've just added a huge update to my shop! This includes earrings, necklaces, and keychains. I've been working on this release for over a month, and I'm super proud how everything turned out!
Hi! I'm XandraRis, I'm a queer disabled Indigenous person from the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo.
So pride month is coming up and instead of buying pride themed merch from corporations please check out my shop!! I make various pride flag themed earrings and I'm trying to get different flags made up!
My shop won't be open in June because I'm going to be at an internship!!! Which is my first step in trying to go back to school so I'll be closing my shop May 20th and I could really use the help in having money to pay for stuff (vitamins, supplements etc.) That will help me manage my lyme disease. I'm also looking into getting a mobility aid, a new backpack with wheels and a recording device for lectures so that I can be the most prepared to succeed at my internship and take the next steps into going to graduate school while being disabled.
I know 10 days isn't a whole lot of time but I appreciate any help so please check out my shop and share if you can!!! Thank you!!!
[ID= a series of digital drawings of an octopus. All of the drawings use the same line art, in which the octopus is a resting position with its tentacles very loosely curled at its side. One of its tentacles is curled in a way that resembles a heart shape. Each of the octopi is patterned with the colors of a pride flag. The flags included are the trans, rainbow progress pride, lesbian, bi, pan, intersex, queer chevron, genderfluid, aromantic, and asexual flags, in that order. The trans, lesbian, and aromantic octopi have smooth concentric splotches/stripes in the colors of their flags, the queer and genderfluid octopi have sharp stripes down their body and across their tentacles in the colors of their flags, and the bi, pan, and ace octopi have wobbly stripes and splotches in the colors of their flag. The rainbow pride octopi has similar stripes as the queer and genderfluid flag, except the stripes are also outlined in a slightly darker color and behind the rainbow stripes are broad stripes of trans colors in the background. The intersex octopi has a unique pattern with a large wobbly circle in purple on its head, and many smaller purple circles covering the rest of its yellow body. /end ID]
I did it!!! I got a fair number of them done just before the start of pride month! Here are some pride octopi friends for y’all.
I haven’t uploaded them yet, but they will be available on my Redbubble hopefully by sometime tomorrow. If you are interested, please check my blog or the notes for a link to my redbubble (because tumblr is mean and doesn’t allow posts with links in the tags). These are also free to use as icons with visible credit. However, outside of that please do not re-post them to other websites without both credit and permission.
These are not the only flags I have completed or that I will be doing! I have a few more already done and will try to make more, so keep an eye out for those. If you have any in specific that haven’t been done yet that you would like to request, please feel free to shoot me an ask!
I know we’re already a bit into pride 2021, but I wanted to share some pride-related goodies! So here are some neat designs, not brought to you by corporations. And just as a disclaimer, I don’t know any of the creators personally, these are just some of the best finds I’ve seen in terms of pride merch, and I wanted to share! :D
1. @lychgate - store link ✨
LYCHGATEStore has unique patch and pin designs, which include references to several queer identities and subcultures! He even has a couple shirts up for pre-order, the proceeds of which will all be donated to the Ali Forney Center, which supports and uplifts unhoused LGBTQ+ folks.
2. Surpride - store link 🔻
Surpride offers a large array of queer apparel, with several designs dedicated to the history of queer identity and liberation!
3. cpikoart - store link ♿️
Cpikoart provides an arrangement of pins, stickers, and apparel, with a focus on diversity of identity. Xe offer customizable items, where you can tailor-make merch for your specific pronouns, flags, or identities! Xe also incorporate intersectionality, with designs that center or incorporate BIPOC and disabled themes alongside queer ones.
Hey everyone! This is a reminder that I have a bunch of cute designs on sale at redbubble (t-shirts, hoodies, phone cases, stickers, etc!!)
Due to covid-19 I’ve really been struggling financially, (I am currently laid off) so if there are any designs you like/love please consider purchasing one of my products. Or, if you can’t or don’t want to please reblog this to help a cute femme dyke out 😩
When I was half-asleep a few days ago, the phrase "There are more genders in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy" reached through my brain and punched me in the face. So now I present some exceptionally nerdy pride merch!
You can get shirts, sweatshirts, stationary, bags, cases, stickers, and a whole bunch of other things here, and support a currently unemployed nonbinary/genderqueer designer during pride month.
Links to each individual design (in order of the images displayed):
More color more pride (aka the Philly pride flag), Transgender, Nonbinary, Genderqueer, Agender, Gilbert Baker (original) pride flag, Demigender, Demiboy, Demigirl, Genderfluid, Genderflux, Neutrois, Bigender, Pangender, Trigender
If there is a flag missing that you really, REALLY want, you can reach out to me, and I MIGHT throw it together. But after 15 different flags I am very tired, so no promises.
I didn’t include the intersex pride flag because it’s my understanding that while being intersex relates to gender, most folks don’t view it as their primary gender identity. If I was mistaken about that, please let me know.
Anyone leaving transphobic comments will be summarily blocked.
