my unpopular descendants opinions All three movies

These are my opinions not facts and like stated above they’re unpopular there’s a chance your favorite character might be came for or a scene you felt strongly about, I strongly disagreed with. I’m not stating really obvious things either like: Ben shouldn’t have been crowned King at 16.

* Jane got off lightly. She was just as much of a bitch to the Vks as Audrey was but she’s generally the one forgiven.

I think Jane is fake, she’s on whoever is the winning team’s side EX: If Ben decided to date any other AK and Mal or Audrey she would’ve be friended them and ditched everybody else

Family day was overdramatic and you could definitely tell that they C4 were teenagers with their decision making

They had ONE bad day in Auradon after for the most part, being treated well and even becoming popular to the point they were questioning their decision

But ONE bad day and they decide to go through with taking over Auradon and it’s not like anybody was lying on them.

Sorry Queen Leah is another thing but Chad wasn’t lying about anything and for them to know he wasn’t and sit and get offended was dumb

They came over to Auradon with Bad intentions and got to roam around freely and took advantage of it

Mal did steal Audrey's Boyfriend by drugging him, Jay was stealing, Evie was gold digging.

Evie shouldn’t have put her hand in his face if she didn’t want him to push it out of his face.

Because like I said above he wasn’t wrong, Evie didn’t really care too much about Chad as a person she was interested in the fact that he was a Prince.

Was it Prince behavior no? But was he 100% dead wrong no?

Audrey was really the one who started that fight at Family day too

Ben’s whole VK plan was messy when you take into account Leah’s reaction at family day.

The OG heroes should’ve at least been informed that their respective villains children were coming over so they were aware and a situation like Leah wouldn’t happen.

I mean Leah treats her own granddaughter like shit depending on who’s she is dating so she definitely wasn’t going to treat Mal any better but let’s say her reaction at family day was out of pure trauma.

It could’ve been avoided if she was informed and didn’t actually end up standing next to her enemy's daughter.

Ben’s whole plan was dumb and messy.

Giving the VKs restrictions isn’t the same as punishing them for their parent’s crimes

Realistically speaking they were on the Isle taught solely by their villain parents and other villains so it would’ve been sense to ease into giving them trust.

Because looked how that turned out they tried to take over Auradon and their king got drugged all because they didn’t want the VKs to think they were being punished for their parent’s crimes.

I think the VKs not getting any punishment for changing their minutes at the last minute was BS. Especially if these are the same people mad Audrey got off too.

The vks had ample time to change their minds, were considering dropping the plan and when they got in their feelings decided to go through with it.

They had everything to gain staying in Auradon and the only thing they lost was their abusive controlling parents

But they very much got rewarded for changing their mind on bad behavior last minute and it shows throughout the other movies.

That’s why they were so comfortable going in out of the isle without permission especially with the king unprotected.

Because they knew no matter what happened at the end of the day nothing would really happen to them because they had the king’s favor.

Evie was kind of a dick to me when she assumed Uma was going to destroy Auradon and that’s why she wanted the wand. I don’t completely not understand her thinking because She kidnapped Ben to get to the wand.

But no Uma had to have wanted to hurt somebody and not her wanting to get herself and any other kid off the Isle after they 4 of you unfairly got picked.

That’s another thing, it was dumb to pick the 4 ‘worst’ kids because how does that look to the other kids who might’ve wanted a better life.

The one’s who terrorize us here get to be the first ones to get the better things in life and later on we basically have to apply to even leave but also ass kiss the four of them to even get a chance.

Uma stans do acknowledge that she was wrong for spelling Ben but it’s often lighten/ brushed over.

We have to acknowledge the fact that Ben would’ve talked to Uma if she just attempted to after she jumped through the Barrier.

He wouldn’t have thrown her right back in he would’ve spoke to and defended her if she tried but she didn’t she went straight to the love spell

Lonnie is just as fake as Jane is when it comes to homie hopping.

She went fuck Ben and I stand with you Mal real quick for somebody who was supposed to have a sibling like relationship with him

Audrey turning villain was no surprise and I feel especially like the adults should hold themselves accountable more.

My opinion on this matter is biased, especially when comparing to how I’m digging into the VKs above but I’ll say because their actions are excused in canon and largely forgive in the fandom.

At the end of the day I know Audrey had other options than going rogue and she was wrong for that period.

But as fucked up as it sounds I don’t think she would’ve ever done that if it weren’t for her circumstances.

She would’ve lived a responsible life, spending her days cheerleading, and preparing for royal duties.

But instead not only did her relationship fall apart she was shunned.

Jane, Lonnie and everybody else stopped talking to her and favored Mal to the point where people were ignoring her when she spoke and asking why she showed up to Jane’s birthday party.

So of course in her mind Dating Ben/ Being next in line for Queen= being treated like a human.

Because all of these people ignoring her were kissing her ass when she was with Ben

Girl had depression and flunked in school and had to take summer school because it was fucking her up.

continuously she was straight up ignored whenever she said something because she wasn’t seen as anything to be worried about

Straight up insulted by adults she probably looked up to (Belle)

And when people (her grandma) did speak to her it was to tear her down and degrade her.

So she became a threat and something they can’t straight up ignore anymore.

Ideally I’d like for that to happen by her thriving and living her best life but she had to choose evil.

That whole let’s get along bs Evie was doing the entire movie was a waste of time.

If Mal decided Uma and her crew were enemies, Evie and the other 2 yes Men would’ve turned on Uma and did as Mal said.

So she shouldn’t be surprised nobody wanted to be kumbaya with them

Nobody forced or pressured Mal to close the barrier

A large part of it was her not wanting anybody to find out her daddy was Hades.

She straight up says she did it for them (the c4) and the lives they had there

Auradon being safe or any of the VKs were not her priority when she made the decision.

Ben’s little “so have I” irked me because if anybody should’ve been talked to her in three years it should’ve been you

Him thinking she was fine because she rebounded with chad is one thing but literally watching her not only fade from his life but Auradon period and being MIA after being together all the time and had no clue???

Guess he was too busy dealing with Mal’s bs

Headcanon Mal still has him spelled.

Hades little speech was bullshit, he earned his punishment and so did all of his fellow villains

Compared to him Audrey was literally a ticking time bomb everybody ignored because they didn’t care and they fucked around and found out.

and not only that the daughter he was standing in front of saying this played a big part in it so you might want to shut up.

Mal did what she did out of malice, I refused to believe her “I didn’t mean to” bs when it comes to Audrey because Audrey’s name stayed in her mouth whenever she was talking shit.

Audrey was correct in not getting a punishment not because her actions were a result of the adults failing to notice her depression and other kids contributing to it but simply because nobody else did

C4 weren’t punished in D1 Mal was never punished for her fuck shit, Uma and her friends weren’t given formal punishments from what I understand (especially with it being a known fact Uma spelled Ben for her own gain unlike Mal’s lying ass saying she did it for love. She was wanted to be captured though I believe)

So why should Audrey out of everybody be the only who got a formal punishment, I think not

Audrey being kumbaya with them at the end was too soon, she should’ve left Auradon, healed and never spoke to them again.

Because like I said she was at first a ticking time bomb and now that she exploded everybody wants to be civil now?

She needed new friends a new life everything.

Uma too, she shouldn’t have to be friends with Mal either

C4 forgiving Mal for her decision to shut the barrier down was not their place in my opinion.

Of course you’ll forgive her because it really isn’t doing anything to you having it shut down especially Evie she got the kid she wanted off of there

This wasnt about them this was about the kids who didnt even have the choice nor would they be aware of it, had Mal went through it

It wasn’t about C4 and their hurt feelings about Mal lying

Do I even need to say them taking down the barrier was dumb?

Saving Christmas;

Summary; Ben finds out why Chad and Audrey aren't going home for Christmas this year and decides that he's going to save Christmas for his old friends. Takes place around d1.

Trigger warnings; mentioned death, unintentional neglect, emotional abuse, sick child, unintentional favoritism, sick child, etc. Also implied neurodivergent Chad! Chad Charming being a human being! Chad is a flawed teenager but is trying his best! And so is Audrey. Also sweet Charming siblings.

"Hey what are you guys doing for Christmas break this year?" Ben asked one day over lunch.

It was a particularly wintery December 1st when the question was asked and Jane, Doug, Lonnie , and four very excited vks answered almost immediately.

Mal and Jane were going to the Moors with FG to celebrate it.

Doug and Evie were going over to Snow White's castle with his family to celebrate.

Lonnie and Jay weren't celebrating but still had plans.

Lonnie was going home to visit her family.

Jay was going to Agrabah after being invited to by Aziz and Jordan.

"And Carlos was going to be spending it in London with the Radcliffes after their niece, Amber, had sent him an invite.

After sharing that his grandfather was coming over to celebrate it with him, Ben noticed something. Audrey and Chad had been eerily silent for the conversation.

And looking back, it didn't take Ben long to realize that Chad hadn't spoken much all morning.

"What about you two? What are you doing?" The brunette asked, shooting the two a sweet smile. Thinking that they were just getting put off by the new group dynamics again. After all, it did take some getting use to -- going from a tight knit group of six friends to ten almost overnight.

And Chad always did have trouble warming up to new people.

"Uh, we... aren't celebrating this year" Audrey replied, uncharacteristically awkward when it became apparent that Chad wasn't going to. The blonde hadn't looked up from his tray to acknowledge any of them since they sat down and was just playing with his food, looking downtrodden.

The amount of prunes, chocolate pudding, and pizza on his plate had stayed the same despite the fact that lunch was nearly over. His pumpkin spice latte hadn't been touched either.

Ben couldn't help but feel concerned now that he noticed it. After all, the prince never turned his favorite foods down but here he was. Doing just that.

And the fact that he and Audrey now apparently weren't celebrating Christmas-- THEIR FAVORITE HOLIDAY-- either was just worsened the concern he felt.

Apparently he wasn't the only one feeling that way either.

"WHAT?!" Jane yelped, "but you guys love Christmas!"

"Yeah. What's going on?" Doug added. He and Chad had slowly began repairing their friendship after Ben's coronation after Chad had apologized to all of them for his behavior over the year. Plus their families usually spent Christmas together since Snow White was Chad's (non-fairy) godmother. No one had mentioned anything about plans changing to him.

Audrey gave them a tired look– as if almost asking 'really?' Before sighing and halfway giving in to their questions.

"Grammy is still upset that Ben and I didn't work out, Ariana is smug about it and has a new prince boyfriend, and my parents, aunt, uncle, and fairy Godmothers are too busy to attend this year. And since I really don't feel like being criticized over every little thing this year with no one there to buffer it, I've decided to stay at school with Chad."

No one was quite sure how to react to her snappish response. But the vks– Evie especially– looked downright murderous. But instead of commenting after a few painfully long silent moments, Jay decided to prod some more.

"And you can't just celebrate with Chad, why?"

Audrey shot the thief a harsh glare, confirming everyone's suspicions that she had been avoiding the question, before begrudgingly answering. "Because Chad has absolutely no motivation to decorate because this will be his first Christmas without his grandfather, Prudence, and Duke who died before the school year started since before he was adopted."

Ben got a sinking feeling in his stomach as he glanced over at his oldest friend. Oh. Oh.

Oh no.

Suddenly the pudding on his own tray didn't seem as appetizing anymore.

Surely he hadn't gotten so caught up in his kingly duties that he had forgotten to check in on his fellow prince to see if he was doing alright? And surely he had checked in on Audrey after the love spell wore off?

Looking back at the events of the school year and Chad's and Audrey’s behavior made him realize that he had, in fact, dropped the ball on this one. But before he could say anything, Doug spoke up.

"But, uh, why isn't Chad going home? Not that I don't understand he's upset--" he said quickly after the hard stare the princess gave him--"it's just that he and his family usually spend the holiday at Aunt Snow's with my family and Jane's, and besides Fg and Jane, no one's mentioned a change in plans."

Audrey gave a long sigh. "Doug, his sister has a heart condition, remember?"

He nodded, likely wondering--like the rest of them were-- what Chloe had to do with anything.

Audrey continued "Well, because of that, it's dangerous for her to get sick because it can weaken her heart more. So their parents decided that with the Pixie flue going around that it's best that they stay home. And since Chloe is going to be in bed and his parents are probably gonna continue to try and get the Tremaines off the isle nonstop even more than they did before your proclamation the entire holiday, Chad decided it's best he doesn't return either. You know, since he could get his sister sick and will probably just get overlooked while he's there. "

Doug caught on "which also means that we can't visit them at the castle cause we could get Chloe sick if we do. And Chad doesn't want to make Chloe feel bad by going anyway."

Ben swallowed.

He hadn't thought about that.

Suddenly Chad behavior paired with his unkempt hair and him still being in pajamas made much more sense.

Chad was feeling forgotten again. And this time, only Audrey had been around to try and keep him out of it. It was like Chloe being born all over again, except this time no one had caught onto how he was feeling and people had actually died.

He had been suffering and no one but Audrey noticed.

And Audrey had been suffering in silence alongside him.

He had to fix this.

For both of them.

So he said the first thing that came to mind "why don't you two come and celebrate it at my place?"

Everyone stared at him like he'd grown another head.

Chad looked up and Ben felt even more confident in his decision.

"Ben, I don't think that's a good idea" Audrey replied softly.

"Why not? It's not like you haven't stayed at our place before."

"Your parents hate us"

Ben shook his head. "That's not true. Mom and dad love you guys and grandpa's been dying to see you two again. "

Audrey didn't know what to say to that and finally, Chad spoke up.

"Well.... If you're sure they wouldn't mind, then we'd like that."

Ben grinned in response "I'm positive. Trust me."

The bell rang before the conversation could continue any further and as the group flooded out of the cafeteria, their moods lifted.

Listen, is it mature or emotionally intelligent? No. But if I were a cheerleader at my boyfriend’s game and he started a cheer, THAT I PARTICIPATED IN before I knew what was happening, for another girl? One who’s family deeply hurt mine? I would have my villain arc immediately.

What I’m saying is Audrey should’ve been allowed to snap sooner.

I was talking to @descendantofthesparrow and I realized I haven’t drawn Audrey as just…herself…is a very long time. I prefer her as a blonde with dragony features as she’s my baby girl and she’s more fun to draw that way. But she did start as a classy brunette, and I haven’t drawn the brown hair hardly ever.

So here’s Auds post D3 if she decided to go back to her (mostly) natural hair color and isn’t cursed.

Wanted to do some designs of the Canon Descendants kids all grown up, plus some ideas of what happens to them.

Mallow reclaims her mother’s staff and using it for good, aiding the kingdoms and clearing the evil out of the Forbidden Mountain, making it her own. Her wings also finally grow in now that she’s overcoming her mother’s dark magic influence. She becomes royal advisor to Audrey (possibly more) and fairy godmother to the royal line. At some point she probably finds her human father who Maleficent had cursed and reconnects with him.

Eva also becomes a good sorceress, though she prefers to keep her powers less obvious then Mallow does. She also gains an interest in alchemy and the natural powers of the dwarfs and other magical beings in the Enchanted Forest and writes several books about their histories and magics. (Also, since in my canon Snow White’s kingdom is Andalasia, which has a connection to Our World thru the magic well, I’ve had a vague idea of Eva traveling to Our World and maybe creating a magical haven there—basically making her a positive version of Regina who makes a Storybrooke for good reasons and not curse ones xD Thus explaining why she’s not there to stop Queen Narissa from taking power and marrying her nephew Argent)

Jaamil I see becoming, well not Royal Vizier but some sort of member of the royal court of Agrabah, likely some sort of advisor about magical items and threats (he learned a lot while working under Nasira). He has the talent to become a sorcerer but no inclination. But he does learning about it and going on various adventures with his friends, in which he frequently has to be the voice of reason.

Carlos eventually gains control of his mother’s empire and promptly works on reducing its focus in furs and other unsavory aspects, as well as reworking the House of DeVil’s signature Black White and Red color palate into a new positive aspect, and becomes one of the top trend setters of the 70s/80s and onward and an advocate for more environmentally friendly fashion choices and materials.

Sims 4 Sleeping Beauty Story Part 1

Once upon a time, there lived an elven Queen named Kimana. She resided in the matriarchal kingdom of Elvenburg (Sims 4 world: Windenburg) and came from a powerful bloodline of elves. She is married to her King Consort Kae.

One day, while walking with her fairy guard Pandora, she, who was known as a strong fairy responsible for protecting the royal family of Lanier, fell in love with the queen and attempted to kiss her. However, the queen pushed Pandora away and banished her from the kingdom never to be seen again.

A year after the queen gave birth to a baby girl, Aurora. The event was celebrated with great joy. However, during the celebration, an evil fairy named Pandora, now known as Maleficent, cast a sleeping curse on the family. The curse would be triggered when Aurora turns 15 years old. The queen was devastated, but the blue fairy gave Aurora a gift - a spell to break the curse with true love's kiss. However, there was a condition. If Aurora was kept away from her family beyond her 16th year, the curse would cancel out. Queen Kimana had no choice but to give up her daughter to keep her safe.

A year later, Queen gave birth to her son, Prince Kano. However, because the Kingdom is a matriarchal, this make Aurora the heir to the throne.

At 15, Aurora was a raised to be a beautiful, brave and smart girl with a hidden sadness.

So since the Princess 16 birthday arrives soon, the blue fairy and Elven burg's High Priestess went to the palace to discuss the reunion.

Even thought, the high priestess did not agree with the reunion, since the Princess did not know who she was and about her parents.

While her two adoptive mothers were away from home, Aurora decided to step outside to look at the stars and ponder her purpose. She had felt alone all these years as her mothers would hardly be home at times. As she pondered, Maleficent watched Aurora, happy to have finally found her. However, she did not realize that her heart would break while it fell into joy. In that moment, Maleficent fell deeply in love with Aurora.

Maleficent decided to slowly introduce herself to Aurora and as time went on, they both became close friends. Maleficent confessed to Aurora about the curse and who she really was. Aurora was at first in shock but welcomed the honesty, since her mothers never told her the truth even when she asked them multiple times about her parents and why she was hidden from the world. Aurora was glad that she was turning 16 years old and that the curse would be broken. Maleficent was overjoyed as well.

As they both walked into the night together, they both thought about how they could confess their true feelings to each other. Maleficent did not want another broken heart, and Aurora did not want to get hurt.

On her 16th birthday, Aurora was introduced to her real parents. However, despite their joy, she was not pleased and longed to return to her normal life. As she approached her biological parents, she was struck by a sudden headache and collapsed. Soon after, everyone in the palace fell into a deep sleep. Malficent was distraught and full of anger at losing her one true love.

Prince Kano and the High Priestess argued to find a solution to bring back his family, but they found no answer and no end to the despair in sight.

Auradon is used to just sending all problems to the Isle. The minute a problem is NOT on the Isle they have no clue what to do.

In no particular order:

Jane, daughter of Fairy Godmother, stealing the wand (first movie). Faced no consequences except being grounded by her mother.

CJ Hook running amok around the school, crashing the Neon Lights Ball, and tying up KING Ben (Wicked World). Was able to escape and was never shown onscreen to be caught. Apparently later crashed a different party and no one did anything.

Freddie Facilier hiding CJ in her dorm room and covering the latter’s tracks (Wicked World). Was able to just keep attending Auradon Prep like normal.

Arabella, niece of Ariel, stealing her grandfather’s trident (Rise of the Isle of the Lost). Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay (and possibly Ben? I don’t remember) went and got it back for her. Arabella faced no consequences at all, because no one had even noticed it was missing yet.

Whatever it was that Zevon, son of Yzma, did (Wicked World). I haven’t watched it, but - shrinking people, jewels, planning to take over Auradon. Was sent back to the Isle by Ben. All right, so he faced consequences.

Uma, daughter of Ursula, taking the king hostage, escaping the Isle, that whole thing at Cotillion (second movie). Despite the guards of Auradon apparently being mobilized to search for her, remained free and hidden for at least a year (given that the second movie takes place six months after the first, and that they graduate in the third).

And of course....

Princess Audrey, daughter of Aurora and Philip, stealing Maleficent’s scepter, putting everyone at Jane’s birthday party to sleep and turning the rest of the kingdom into stone, turning Mal into an old woman and Ben into a Beast, and taking Celia hostage (third movie). Faced no consequences shown onscreen.

Oh, and way back at the beginning, when Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay broke into the museum, they were never caught.

This leaves Zevon, son of Yzma, a minor character in Descendants, appearing only in Wicked World, as the ONLY CHARACTER who has ever faced a penalty for his crimes.

...Auradon has no clue how to handle this, do they.
