im thinking about how lullaby for a princess and the moon rises are just. siblings to me. the fan song of celestia and, to me, the fan song of luna and how theyre both absolutely beautiful and have just. damn near professional tier animated music videos and how they both tell two sides of the same story and how they really just encapsulate so much of what i love not only about the my little pony fandom but also the show in general...

like, when they made a show for 8 year old girls about magical ponies they didnt have to go so hard with the lore and the characters, especially not as hard as to give us such a beautiful and tragic story as the one between the royal sisters, but they did! and we were all rightfully like, holy shit that goes hard!!!

and people were so inspired that they not only wrote really good songs about that one story, like, multiple about that one story!! but people sat down for hours upon hours of effort and care for literally for free to make animated music videos that couldve been made by paid professional if i didnt know better!!

i dont really have a point i just have so much love in my heart for my little pony as someone whos been a fan of it for over a decade now and i adore the royal sisters and so much of the fandoms creations and i could probably say more but i wont

The Princesses have sent a call to every other creature in Equestria requesting volunteers for medical testing. The goal being to find out which creatures are immune to the Marrow Bloom infection and which are not.

Nurse Redheart and Doctor Horse have developed a safe and effective testing schedule that will ensure that no harm comes to the volunteers.

The test includes:

The infected area being outlined and taped off to track progression effectively.

Daily scans of the infected area to track root growth into the volunteer's skin.

New tools for removing roots and killing remaining seeds that may be left on the skin/feathers/fur

Removal of the seeds and roots should the infection take root and progress to stage 1 with skin irritation and root growth.

Rehabilitation period after removal of the infection and 5 day monitoring period after recovery to ensure all volunteers are healthy.

Food, drink and lodging will be provided.

Test Results:

Day 1: All volunteers successfully seeded with the infection area taped and covered. Volunteers have been placed in the quarantine chamber for observation during the course of the test. All volunteers are healthy and eager.

Day 3: Infection has taken root in 3 out of the 4 volunteers. Both griffons and hippogriff are showing signs of infection; kin irritation, slight fever and root growth. Drake volunteer showing no signs of infection with seeds and roots unable to burrow into his thick skin.

Day 5: Roots and seeds successfully removed from 3 of 4 volunteers. BlueCross, Algeebloom and Sawyer are recovering well and show no more signs of progressing infection. Basil also shows no signs of infection but he will remain in quarantine until full immunity is determined.

All data has been submitted to Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

Princess Twilight's attention was captivated by the dancers on the different stages. She practically glomped the other two Princesses and demanded to know, “Have you ever seen any dance performance like these? I know that there is no record of them in the Royal Library! I looked, after I found your private closed stacks!”

Princess Luna gave her a sideways look as she replied, “Oh, you did, did you?”

Princess Celestia just turned red in the face. Quietly, she returned, “No, Twi, a performance like this is turning into? Never in close enough to four thousand years have I seen anything like this.”

Kin had quietly herded Pinkie Pie back to the group. She whispered, “Twi is hatching an idea that you will absolutely want to hear.”

The Gryphon Ambassador was listening closely. He had a mirror out and was whispering, “Grata, Hisst, Empress, this show is like nothing ever done before and it is being done for our aid! Princess Celestia just confirmed that she has never beheld anything like it! The show has not even been put on and already they have raised about thirty eight thousand golden bits for us!”

He listened carefully to the reply. “I will tell them. There is much else happening in the Kingdom. They are, along with this, working to forstall a coup attempt.

“The first of the four casualty trains will be coming this afternoon. The Kindred Spirit Trauma Hospital is fully staffed and waiting for them.”

He listened more and closed his mirror.

He turned to Pinkie and gestured with a wing at the set dance going on the stage, “How do you manage to have a three step waterfall and pool on the stage?”

Pinkie snorted, “We had a little help with that one! It is mostly a Glamor spell cast by one of the foremost practitioners of non Equine magic in the kingdom.”

Meanwhile, Luna, eybrows raised almost all the way to her crown, was asking, “Are you sure about this, Twilight? Yes, Tia and I are the second and third best Rom dancers presently living but Rom dance is not like this!”

Nodding emphatically, Twilight stated, “True. Kin can coach us in how this kind of dance works in only a few minutes. We saw that last night.”

Celestia pointed out, “This might conflict with the Hospital's work.”

Luna replied, “We have a day and a half. Besides casualties we have ten more Gryphon surgeons who are not injured coming to learn. With their help, we could easily deal with the new cases.

“I think that Twi's idea is a good one! We have WATCHED enough performances. It is about time that we are IN one! Get Pinkie, Foamy, and Clarice over here while we still have the time!”

Pinkie piped up, “I'm already here. What's your idea?”

The other two nudged Twilight forward, “It's your idea, Twi. You pitch it.”

She took a deep breath and began, “Well, I thought that We, the Princesses could do one of the features between the set pieces. The basic idea is that we will all be on stage, taking turns as the lead. We will all be using those hidden wing outfits. First, Celestia will begin, with a low spotlight that will brighten. As it does, she will do the wing reveal and some flashy wing work, then she will be pulling hers close as I join her and sort of do the same while she goes to support dancing and then Luna will join me and I will retire to the support role with Celestia.

“Sort of presenting the passage of a day, through evening and night. You see?”

Pinkie bobbed her head as she turned and sprinted for the stages, “Foamy! Clarice! Quick! We have a dance emergency! You need to score a new one, fast!”

The Princesses huddled with the choreographers as Twilight explained her idea. Kin joined them shortly.

Kin pointed out, “I will need to do Princess Twilight entirely from scratch, which is no problem. For both Princesses Celestia and Luna I will need to lift coordination issues from Red. Their dancing is done to a music that is completely alien to what you will all be working with. Also, stripping is a whole different mindset. With your royal permission I will take care of it for you.”

Without waiting, she took up a pencil and pad, beginning to make sketches while talking over the act with the choreographers.

Pinkie nodded, not even waiting for their answer as she took off for backstage! Shortly she returned with Red. “Here you are, Kin. She is happy to do this for the show! Giving Royals, wing work and stripping reflexes? Not something found on most resumes!”

Celestia nodded, “True enough! Have we got time enough to do a full rehearsal? I mean, those trains of casualties will be arriving soon.”

Luna gave a slightly embarrassed happy skip as she replied, “Plenty of time, actually. Even once they get here, they have to be offloaded and the cases transported to the hospital. These are nearly all serious injuries but not life threatening. What I wonder is whether our costumes can be ready in time for us to rehearse with them.”

Rarity spoke up from where she was watching the finale of the mainstage second act, “If I can get the measurements and costume work up sketches, I should be able to have them for you in less than an hour.”

Kin put down her pencil and handed Rarity the file of drawings that she had been working on. “Here you go, Sweet Love. But not before you get a kiss. I've missed hugging you for simply hours!”

Suiting action to words, she pulled Rarity close and kissed her deeply. As they broke the kiss, Rarity added, “As soon as I get back with these, we will watch a run through of the act and then, Love of Mine, we both are in serious need of milking!”

Kin grinned, placing a hand over her boobs in fake modesty, she replied archly, "Should you speak of such things in public?” Breaking into a grin, she finished, “Only when alone or with some pony, like say, ME! Now scoot! Sooner done, sooner we play!”

With a flirt of her tail, Rarity got.

Kin held Red close and gently stroked from the back of her head to the end of her ribs, her fingers dancing lightly along. She gave Red a quick hug and then gestured to Princess Twilight.

“You first, My Princess. It will not take long, but I have the most to do with you. As I have promised, State and personal secrets are totally safe.”

She simply nodded and snuggled up to Kin. As Kin's fingers danced along her spine, Twilight's ears pointed down to the stage where the between act feature dancer was beginning! Her eyes opened in comprehension! “So THAT is what all those dance teachers were trying to show me!”

As she traded places with Princess Luna, Luna giggled, “What? They were trying to teach you how to strip?”

Twilight bleped her tongue at Luna and confessed, “Actually, it was picking up the rhythm of the music for dancing. I've always sort of had two left hooves at dancing. Now I know how to do it right!”

As Celestia took her turn with Kin, she commented, “That's wonderful, Twi. I love Rom dancing but Court ballroom? Boring. I rather expect that this will be anything but!”

MLP Kins

first is Twilight Sparkle

I kin twilights autistic traits. She stims, has “tantrums” (they’re not necessarily meltdowns/shutdowns but are an outburst), bad at keeping secrets, basically all the stuff she learns before becoming a princess, her “twilighting”, takes stuff literally, has special interests, dislikes change, sometimes can’t tell her own emotions, and plans for everything that doesn’t need planning (I got all this from TikToks btw I’m not observant enough to notice all these things)

Next is Fluttershy

I also kin her autistic/personality traits. She struggles to meet new people, easily talks abt her spins, is shy and quiet but louder when you get to know her, poor time management, misinterpret things, enjoys being in the background but still part of things, and overly sensitive

Next is Pinkie Pie

Pinkie pie was one of the first characters I ever kinned, I kin her personality as a whole; aside from her blatant extrovertedness towards strangers and love for parties and sweets. She is my unmasked autism, she was me when I was younger and was my favorite for a loooong time before wind Whistler and Celestia came along

Last is Derpy Hooves

I kin Derpy’s personality and autistic traits as a whole. She is forgetful (hence her other name, Ditzy Doo), clumsy, and has a spin. There isn’t much to her since she’s a fan loved character and not meant to rlly have substance but I relate to her fully either way

honorable mention: Wind Whistler

(She’s the blue and pink pony) Wind Whistler is my favorite character out of the entire franchise, I kind of kin her. I relate to her logical thinking, although it doesn’t go to the point where my emotions don’t get in the way like it does for her. Sometimes I catch myself talking formally like she does too

Princess Celestia and Princess Cadance are my main #1 comfort characters, but I also love Queen Chrysalis, Flim, Flam, and Shining Armor a whole lot too. As for kins, that list is too long lol and I'm actually unsure about a lot of them besides Night Peak lately anyway

Nox had not seen her newest niece and her cousin cadence In a while though she was looking forward to seeing them again wished It was under better circumstaces.

Additionally she was better known in the crystal empire so ponies there knew she was a princess as well and she asked her mom if it would be wise to disguise herself as well as not to draw attention to the group.

Both Celestia and Luna assured her that it would be alright, as they would be alongside her for the majority of the time that they spent there; however, they understood the doubt Nox held in her mind, as her Dragon-blood and heritage, as well as the fondness of crystals to Dragons and their kin, while not something she could change, could be unnerving to the inhabitants of the Empire.

While Nox understood that her Mother and Aunt tried their best to calm her thoughts, still, she was worried over the reactions of the Crystal Ponies, and she admitted that the answer they gave her did not put her mind at ease, as she turned away to look out of the window, seeing the landscape change hues from lively grassy fields and forests of green, to lifeless, and cold, rock and stone.

When Nox turned away, moving to the other bench, Luna, whom they saw in the corner of their eye, silently gestured towards Light, asking them to speak; and after excusing themselves for a moment, they followed Luna out of the cabin to the back of the train, where they moved to lean over the railing, watching the rails fly by from below them, and where she wished to ask them about Nox.

The train slowed down somewhat, as the voice of the Conductor sounded through the speakers around them, telling the passengers that they were close to the mountains, nearing the site of the former blocked track; a tunnel that led through the mountains, where the last remnants were still being cleared up, and to make sure that no further trouble would occur, they had been asked to slow down.

As both the landscape and the weather continued to change as they moved further North, Luna told Light that she didn't know what to do; there was nothing more that she wanted than health and healing for her daughter, but she knew not what to do or say to her to help; as her eyes watered up, thinking of Nox, and what she had been through, Luna asked her if they knew what she could do.

To this, Light let out a deep sigh, and gently laid their hoof on Luna's, and told her that they could see she was doing her best, and she should not be ashamed if she felt it was not enough; they knew that taking care of a loved one was difficult, but they knew, and saw, and felt how strong the bond of love was between her and Nox; and they told her that they were sure Nox felt the same way.

The wind grew colder and the first snowflakes started to fall, and Light noticed that Luna started to shiver, suggesting they move back inside and ask for something warm to drink; but Luna refused, asking them to stay for a moment, which Light accepted; and to help her with the cold, they took a deep breath, their body darkened ever so slightly, and Luna, holding Light's hoof, felt warmer.

The controlled flames the Kirin could create were useful in circumstances like these, and both Luna and Light chuckled lightly; then, after Luna thanked Light, she told them, when their business with Boom was done, to return as soon as they could; in a moment, she would help to create a disguise for Nox, which she hoped would make her feel less afraid of judgement of the Crystal inhabitants.

After solemnly nodding, promising Luna to return as soon as they could, they gestured to the door, suggesting to head back, and to find her and the others a blanket and a hot drink; they knew the area would get very cold for a while, especially with the slower train, but soon enough, the Empire would be within reach, where the light and love of the Crystal Heart would protect them from cold.

They should get here soon, Boom thought to himself, as he carefully made his way across the rotten bridge, hearing the aged wood crack beneath his every step; though, fortunately, he safely made it across the chasm, and after he walked through the courtyard, taking note of the moved slab that led back to the Catacombs under Pie Park, should he need a safer way back, he entered the Palace gates.

"I hope that the forge is still here…"

lumine will never think ill of aether no matter what. she will never blame aether for anything that happened, any sadness, loneliness, hardships, or suffering she had gone through. whether it is her traveler verse, or abyss princess verse, she will never speak badly or negatively of aether. she is confused and often times still blame herself for not being able to catch his hand in that opening scene we saw. that scene still replayed in her mind and haunted her in her sleep.

as a traveler, she is confused and trying to understand why aether chose the path that he did, why he chose to side with the abyss, but even after witnessing the consequences of his actions and decisions, she still never blame him or think of him as evil. as abyss princess, even if her mind is twisted by the abyss in that verse, and how she'd blame the archons, celestia, fate, human greed, literally anything. even if at the end of his journey, aether wouldn't see eye to eye with her, she still wouldn't blame him. and never will.

there's nothing that could make lumine think badly of aether, no matter what he had done, how many he might kill, or the fact that he might point his blade at her at the end of it all. this is due to the fact that their bond is that of a twin. it's not a simple sibling bond, but he is the other half of her soul, her very flesh and blood. it's a kind of bond that cannot be severed, a link that allows her to still feel him despite it all. it doesn't matter how much hardships or sufferings she might endure as traveler or abyss princess. no amount of pain nor agony will make her turn the blame towards her own kin.
