I know it wasn’t ever intended to last that long, but I think prison arc got better because it lasted so long

tbh ! i dont think the prison arc in itself suffered much from the delays, but the server outside of the prison definitely struggled ... the lack of development of new plotlines outside the relatively closed system of the prison kinda hurt the development of the server quite a bit, but that's not abt the prison arc itself obviously. the stretches of real time passing during the arc definitely did a good job of helping u feel how Much time was passing in there--i think more activity on the server in General at the same time wouldve emphasized that further

y'know something that's hilarious to me?? apprentice maul constantly questions his purpose in sidious' big plan. he longs to know his role. longs to prove himself worthy of fulfilling it and perhaps,, just maybe,,,, getting to know what it is. he questions it so much that (seer that he is) he has a dream (a vision) where he faces himself. they fight but ultimately, his doppelganger wins and cuts him in half. at the waist. and maul took this to mean that he has to use his full power rather than holding back like he's been doing (under sidious' instruction) instead of an extremely foreboding glimpse of his future (yes, obi-wan cuts him in half but really it's his own cockiness that causes it. had he just killed obi-wan rather than mocking him then he would have survived).

but the vision answers his question. he has no role in sidious' plan.

people who live "criminal lifestyles" so to speak, like people who exhibit patterns of behavior such as gang activity violent crime felony theft etc. tend to live unhealthier lives in the first place. their organs aren't going to be as viable for the organ farm bc they'll be less likely to be in good condition. this kind of law isn't for the archetypal "common criminal" the cleanest drug free specimens will be political dissidents and deviants not people who have hurt others

I want a story that’s a realistic fiction plot but all of the characters are side characters in a magical girl story.

Like the main character is busy stressing about their math test and trying to work up the courage to ask the cute girl in their English class to go to the dance with them. But ugh they were going to ask them out after English class today, but the hell beast showed up during 3rd period and trapped everyone in stasis for two whole hours until the magical girls were able to fix it.

To be clear. None of the main characters in this are magical girls. The magical girls are side characters and don’t have any connection to the main characters.

Also, the main characters treat each new magical catastrophe with complete nonchalance. Same energy as “ugh the fire alarm got set off by the cooking class so we all had to stand outside in the cold” except the fire alarm was set off by an infestation of smoke spirits, not some over baked cookies.

I do think there should be some character that moves in from out of town and has the appropriate reactions of “I just got trapped in the void for 3 hours and they just expect me to take a math test? And how come none of this is being reported on or anything? Wouldn’t this be a national news story or something?” And of course is immediately dismissed by all of their friends for being ridiculous.

Econ question: can money buy happiness?

NOT an econ question as we dont study happiness/psychology (aside behavioural econ but that's still not a mood thing) BUT im a firm believer in there being a fine line between 'a life of materialism is hollow and will leave you feeling unsatisfied' and 'people who cant afford basics are disproportionally unhappy to those who can'. so i guess my answer is that yes money can buy a certain degree of happiness, or perhaps the building blocks of happiness, but it will never satisfy all of your self-fulfilment needs
