While she indeed lives in the middle of a haunted lake, she doesn't really have a magical feat related to liquids other than her barefoot water skating tricks. Instead she has an expertise in communing with the dead, guiding stray eidolon fishes and creatures back to the circle of life and death
Beside that she's a pro angler and swimmer who casually keeps clueless mortal people from falling into the lake

Sizzle Season Starter pack!
Hello everyone welcome back to the octo blog! I have compiled everything that the sizzle season has brought and put it into one post. I like to call it the Sizzle Season Started pack!
First we have to new maps! Barnacle and Dime and Humpback pump track returning from splatoon 2
For our first new weapon we have the S-BLAST’92. When you jump and and shoot the blast will be shorter but if you stay on the ground it will be longer. The kit it is equipped with is reefslider and sprinkler.
Next we have the Paintbrush. It almost looks like a brush and splatana combined. Its equipped with curling bombs and wave breaker!
Next we have the rapid blaster pro deco with angler shooter and killer wail
These are the light tetra dulies equipped with sprinkler and zipcaster. These are a very light weapon so you are able to do 4 doge rolls in a row.
This is the H-3 Nozzlenose D with splash wall and big bubbler.
This is the splatana wiper deco equipped with tenta missles and becons.
This is all i can share in this post but the next parts should be posted on my page!

Dr. Weaver: “why so tense? Ever since Amanda well… died, you haven’t been the same”
Dr. Andrekia: “sorry I’ll try to relax”
The sound of baby babbling could be heard.
Dr. Weaver: “I see you brought Shelby with you”
Dr. Andrekia: “couldn’t find a sitter”
Shelby sits there smiling at the camera, babbling and chewing on her hand as her angler fish lure lights up some of the room.
Dr. Weaver: “hi Shelby! Miss me?”
Dr. M. Weaver plays around with Shelby’s hand as the baby smiles.
Shelby rubs her eye yawning in the process.
Dr. Weaver: “looks like someone’s sleepy, we should head to your dorm”
Dr. Andrekia nods her head: “agreed”

To understand what’s happening, dr. Amanda Amilio had recently died of unknown causes and was reincarnated as Shelby, an angler fish. Andrekia was an adopted member of the Amilio family and was very close to Amilio, andrekia is a spider.

((I'm taking a guess that this is in response to this ask.
I'm sorry if that's how that was worded... I was kinda distracted playing OW2 when I was working on that, and only managed to type it between games before posting.
But no.. I do love AUs -- it's just sometimes it is hard working and create the lore for said AUs. Especially creating them by yourself. Since in some AUs you have to change something about a character to make the AU work better.
In fact, I do have a few AUs written up with threads for others in my drafts for both Izuku and my Katsuki muse.
But like for example; take Katsuki and putting him into an AU where Quirks don't exist or one where he was born Quirkless. How would not having a Quirk impact his character?
Cause to me... Katsuki not having a Quirk would leave a pretty huge gap on his character. Like he'd still be confident -- but he wouldn't be OVERLY CONFIDENT. There would be no reason for others to praise him as a LITERAL CHILD for being a walking explosive. They could still do that because of his intelligence -- but a lot of praise he received as a child was about "how strong and flashy his Quirk was". Not to mention, his relationship with Izuku wouldn't have been bad (meaning no bullying) because there would be no reason for him to want to "push Izuku out of his life".
Or if you take Izuku and put him into an AU where Quirks don't exist.. meaning a world with NO PRO HEROES!!! How would that impact his character? Because .. a good part of Izuku's character is him having knowledge about heroes and their Quirks. Like in canon... he was the first, and only one, who immediately realized that Aizawa was the "Erasure Hero: Eraser Head".
The rest of 1A were more or less like "who?" or "I think I've heard his name before". While Izuku the moment that that Aizawa said that he had "erased" his Quirk -- and seeing the goggles -- put two and two together. Meaning that his knowledge of heroes went beyond those heroes in public eye. That he knows about / had knowledge (even if it wasn't as vast) about those who tended to "avoid making media appearances".
Like in this scene... Izuku's reaction -- had he only known "rumors" about Eraser Head would've been written more akin to him only hearing rumors. Like it was written for his classmates when they were talking about Eraser. Which means that despite them "hearing things" about the pro hero: Eraser Head. None of them but Izuku ACTUALLY looked into and confirmed for themselves if those rumors were actually true.
The rest of 1A only seemed to know that there was a "angler-type pro hero" on the scene. But didn't know what said hero's quirk was / did.. or only vaguely knew his name.
Whereas.. in straight up crossover threads -- and I mean threads where it's literally taking Character A and throwing them and all of their powers / abilities / etc into Character B's universe. Either by a power / machine / etc ... is usually easier to do threads.
But also ... I come from the early times of tumblr rp (the earlier to mid 2010s) when two characters from two different fandoms could interact and most people didn't really bat an eye about it. And hell, sometimes AUs / muse relationships are created FROM what was supposed to be a simple little thread that was a silly, goofy one-off interaction.
Like for example; back when I rped Toph Beifong -- I interacted with muses that were wrestlers. But .. I didn't have proper information for Toph in a modern setting. So I literally just threw Toph -- as she was (a blind earthbender) -- at people who rped wrestlers. And those were some of my favorite interactions that I had with Toph.

I am not much of an angler, yet I am a man. And once a boy. A boy who grew up hooking eels from the lake, grabbing carp from flooded grass, bucketing spotties on a wharf and weighing anchor after anchor in the firth. So there’s a life of angling, despite never having fallen for the trap myself.
Still, I tend to carry a travel rod with me. Four piece blank, tiny guides and a simple reel spooled in gossamer braid; it makes tying knots fun. It’s a setup able to swing a softbait, tow a wobbler behind a rowed dinghy, or flick a veltic along the river bank. I carry it with me on trips, because I love the sport.
Rowing quietly over some cover and letting a softbait swim just above the kelp and then hooking a heavy snapper, the kind that makes your leader knot ping across the guides, is a perfect day. Too, standing thigh deep in a braided river casting for running salmon… despite the only bites being the sandflies.
Today I loaded a backpack with thick jam sandwiches of doughy bread, chocolate smattered Anzac biscuits, a yeti full of tea, tackle, reel and rod. Laura, ever willing, and Mlles. F & M rugged up against 13°c, a cruel wind and spits of rain strolled an urban adventure for three-quarters of an hour, never more than a hundred yards from a road, but though paddocks, behind houses and along the river, until a picnic and cast spot.
While the girls munched and supped, I tied a Veltic #3 in rainbow trout colour, and started casting. The river was high and strong, with a swirling eddy just down the bank from me. I kept trying my luck and testing my courage, letting the eddy tow the lure hard to the bank and then jigging past some cover, which I supposed would hide a trout finning and waiting for some food.
I paused my angling for a sandwich and tea, explored the bank with the girls and decided to try again. Mlle. M was onto her own last morcel and warned me I had about three more casts [before her patience waned]. I flicked out line again and let the lure wash as close to a willow in the water as I dare, jigged and snagged heavily. Deflated I wound a few times and pulled, in case I had merely grabbed a twig, the snag moved slowly with me …and then flicked. The tip of the rod doubled and line sliced through the water! A fish! “Girls, come here I’ve got a fish on” I called surprising myself.
I landed, unhooked, and presented the trout for quick pats, before letting it back into the water, always glad and hopeful when a fish swims away. Chuffed too that my decision of where I would be if I was a trout was validated!
Home beside the fire tonight I mulled over the fight. A heavy dead weight, a few pulls of line on swims, but for a nice sized fish not much of a scrap. I was glad to find the McDowall passage at the top of this post. Glad that a wiser head and more wizened an angler than I summed it up. I’ll take the passage one further, winter moocher snapper, brilliant kahawai jumping on a tight line in the bay, rainbow trout from the sand bank searing across the shallows or a heavy brown against the bank. My taste and style is the adventure and the story, no rights or wrongs in the matter.

Doodle dump of some of my recent Warriors OC doodles !
The first two are of my best girl, Tetrasnap. Tetra is colorblind, so asking her to pick a pride flag is a bit of a pointless endeavor (and yes I'm aware cats already don't see the colors humans do, but the books don't acknowledge this so I won't either).
Tetra has her own 'sona' which she imagines as being a bulkier, monstrous version of herself with massive claws including a set on her tail, as well as lionfish frills and a couple angler bulbs, which would lurk in ponds and lakes. Of course, cats can't draw, so she just thinks about this sona all the time.

The second set is two versions of my first real Warriors character, Slatestar. I made the original when I was twelve, and he's gone through several iterations with varying levels of success - I think this design is the most fitting to his intended personality.
Part of Slatestar's story is that his second life is lost as a sacrifice to his mate to revive her, and because of this both of their pelt colors morph to be more like the other.
His mate, a light silver tabby with black stripes, becomes light grey with darker grey stripes, whereas Slatestar becomes a lighter shade of grey with a couple dark stripes on his neck, as well as a bit of longer fur as his mate is quite fluffy.
And this of course is on top of the injuries he sustains after becoming leader - his first life was lost from falling into the gorge, which also cost him his arm.
So the left is how he looked as a leader, and right is as a warrior / deputy.

Fish Whisper’s Extended Fishing Report – April 19th
As the water temperatures gently climb into the high 50’s and low 60’s, our fishing community buzzes with excitement. Reports have been sailing in about a diverse catch from our local piers, with anglers reeling in croakers, roundheads, skates, rays, and catfish. With the warmth of spring coaxing life beneath the waves, we’re all holding our breath for the bounty that the upcoming week promises.
At James T. Wilson Pier, the dance of small croakers and roundheads continues, with occasional appearances by small stripers, rays, and skates. Although the trout and drum seem to be playing hide and seek with us this week, the anticipation in the air is as palpable as the salty breeze.
Over at Ocean View Pier, it’s a similar story with croakers and roundheads leading the aquatic parade. Although the size may be modest, the spirit of the catch is anything but. It’s a testament to the joy of fishing – every tug on the line is a new story in the making.
Meanwhile, the James River Pier has been singing the catfish blues. Anglers there have been drawing in catfish after catfish, a testament to the river’s rich and nurturing waters. For those looking to hook these whiskered warriors, patience and the right bait are your best friends.
