Things I should not have to say:
Don't threaten to blow up pro-shippers on social media. That's called a terroristic threat. Don't even joke about it. You might think it's funny and it might get a few eye rolls from the adults in the room, but the DoJ/FBI/Homeland Security/People it gets reported to have no sense of humor.
Trust me. I work with them. I swear any sense of humor gets trained out of them.
At best, they're going to knock on your door and explain to your parents/partners/assorted housemates what you're doing online. At worst, it's a no knock raid because they think you're a terrorist.
All it takes is one person reporting what you said. What may be an obvious joke to you probably isn't to the team of people going through the cyber tip line. While you might be joking, Cletus in Montana with the pile of tannerite talking about how he wants to blow up the government probably isn't. There have been too many Cletuses recently for online threats to be ignored.
TL;DR: Don't be a fucking dumb ass and make threats on social media. It's a good way to ruin your life.

Anti's are so weird. Like, no, I don't want to kiss my sister, I just think that Dean and Sam should fuck nasty in the back of Baby.

just because a piece of media happens to have a fandom mostly made up of minors, doesn't mean it should.

What is Aethy? And is it worth it?
A lot of you have probably seen people posting their usernames on Aethy and telling you that you can follow them there, but what is it? And more importantly, is it worth your time?
Aethy is a website that was created in response to new rules being enforced in fandom spaces. It aims to be a space that's safe for all types of fiction, as long as it has the appropriate content warnings.
The site itself operates as a mix between Twitter and Tumblr. Users can post text, videos, gifs, photos, etc. You can tag each post using hashtags similar to Twitter and you can search through each tag by chronological order like Tumblr. You can also follow tags similar to Tumblr.
The content is widely nsfw, though there's plenty of other types of content too. Discourse is discouraged by the userbase to help create a fun, carefree website. It's exclusively made to appeal to pro ship or neutral people, so there's no need to worry about large numbers of antis being present.
Smut is welcomed, even fanart. So it helps support artists and creators by not limiting their artwork.
You can like or "favorite" posts. You can "boost" them which is essentially just retweeting/reblogging. You can also bookmark and reply to posts.
Some reasons people might not like it is the low userbase, age restrictions, and lack of some popular features.
At this time, you cannot direct message anyone. You can privately mention them which functions similar to dms. They will be under the "conversations" tab.
There's no way to send an "ask" or anything similar to that.
And as of right now, lower numbers of people have created accounts. But more and more people are joining every single day.
Due to the nature of the content posted, Aethy is 18+ only.
Aethy can be found here if anyone wants to check it out
*Disregard this post, Aethy has since become an awful site. The staff and mods are not great. They tend to not tell users why they've been suspended, retaliate against users they dislike, curse at their users in derogatory ways, and have also been accused of harassment among other things. Read more about it in this post and the replies on it. They have also since changed their rules and are now not welcoming of anti contact para, radqueers, or anyone who supports them.*

What a beautiful quote 🥺
You’d never guess that it’s from a story where a guy uses time travel to have sex with himself 🤔

This is a reminder that making art is a GOOD thing, no matter how much you hurt your characters. They aren’t real - they’re narrative tools.
It is good and positive to use fictional depictions of bad things for catharsis or pleasure.

just saw someone writing an whole essay about why they ship zucest lol ok first of all go find some treatment you weirdo. i don’t have to treat any of you with respect i’m sorry but if you are a pro shipper YOU ARE a weirdo, deal with it!
second, uh, where do i start? the bedroom scene really is weird but it’s only because YOU GUYS made people see in the distorted sick way YOU see it, it was a KID’S show, for crying out loud. azula was “too touchy” with zuko, because THEY ARE SIBLINGS!!??? if she tells him to be careful or if she is “soft” with him IS NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE IN A INCESTUOUS RELATIONSHIP is bc GUESS WHAT i know it must be hard to believe but THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER!!! i also hide stuff about my sibling from my parents (and other people) for the sake of them, even tho they’re a bitch with me sometimes. zuko talks about azula at the end of b1 bc so far we didn’t even know he had a sister and she would be a major character in b2, how is this about incest?????? it was for CONTEXT for us to know more about zuko’s character and azula’s subconsequently. zuko also thinks about what would iroh do in b3, do you think he was having an relationship with his uncle too?? for Christ sake, you people are SICK, you disgust me! stop trying to ruin the characters for us NORMAL people, you can ship whatever you want but don’t expect us to accept and think it’s okay!
i wouldn’t even bother if something like that really happened on the show for plot or whatever bc i know it used to be common specially in monarchy, what i can’t stand is people out here shipping and saying it’s okay bc it’s fiction.

I have a question, as I keep seeing a lot of people I follow have this as a DNI, and I may end up getting blocked by quite a few people for posting this: Why do so many people not wanna interact with us pro shippers, and seem to hate us? Now, I'm not too big on shipping but, I do have my own personal ones and enjoy shipping whenever I think it's fitting so, this doesn't make sense to me.
If you leave then, I hope your stay was enjoyed and tah tah for now and please tell me a bit why if you so choose. If you stay then please, indulge me in conversation and answer my question. I am merely curious.

something that many people in fandoms don't understand is that if you, an anti, comment something negative under a positive post about a ship/series/movie you don't like and/or spread hate about this thing you don't like in fans/shippers' safe places, you are the one who's wrong. not the shippers who replied to defend their ships, not the fans who told you to shut up, no matter if any of this things created a drama. they didn't attack you. you're not being bullied. you're not a victim. you attacked them. you are wrong. don't make fans and shippers look like bad people just because they defended the thing they loved that you hated on. and stay in your tags and hate places.

To add to the whole "you must be this queer to write queer characters debate": a lot of quietly queer books are marketed that way for a reason. The author who may not publicly disclose their orientation might be doing it to protect their readers.
I know this because this is what I'm doing.
Look. Most of my readers are in Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia. These are places that aren't friendly towards queer people or queer literature. A book with two boys holding hands on the cover won't get past the morality police (and might get the reader punished), but a book with a dog or a deer on the cover goes under the RADAR. A book with a dog on the cover and back copy that doesn't scream "THIS BOOK IS GAY!!!" gets past hyper religious parents.
It sucks, but sometimes getting a book in the hands of a reader who needs it is more important than purity politics.
All of that to say this: don't harass people writing gay literature. The literature might not be aimed at you.

Marginalized people, especially queer women and transmasculine and nonbinary people, are the main targets of anti-shippers' harassment. By design.
You're less likely to be able to affect a rich abled cis white male showrunner, but you can easily run a poor disabled transmasc fanfiction writer of color off the Internet.
And their goal isn't genuine change - it's just the feeling of righteous power you can get from bullying others. They've made that obvious by their refusal to listen to experts on the subjects of fiction and psychology.

Request for @pear-rin-nb!
I had a tough time with the "I" in "bi" and the colours gave me problems with the sparkles on the Enby one.
HOWEVER!
We've come out on top and have two more designs! Thanks for your request!!
I'm still taking requests for sexuality/gender flags on this shirt! Just leave a comment or a reblog with the flag you want. :D

We need less "dark fiction isnt endorsing the actions in it" and more "fuck it! Even if an author told me to murder 5 kittens I wouldn't fucking do it!"

no offense, but if you trample all over people for their tastes in fiction, you are a pathetic specimen and will crumble underneath the raw power of people unapologetically enjoying the heck out of their favorite ships/fictional villain bastards

I love anti shippers because they sit there and scream that pro shippers are normalizing harm against people. Meanwhile every single one of them have, "pro shippers die challenge" and "if pro shippers even look at me, I'll break their kneecaps and tear their skin off" on every one of their posts.
