Oh, thank you for the explanation! But like i said, again, i generally don't ship kids at all (any, not just Jon, Damian, etc) and I am not even your follower. I came across your account because of a post and you are under the replies and saw your bio and just decided to casually ask (hence I said I am neutral and all).

And honestly I can relate about this particular thing you talked about: shipper of particular ship doesn't know about half of the ship at all because they only read one series and don't care about the rest of comics predated this particular series that justify their ship. And it's worse for me because the ships that I dislike is white mlm with quite huge fandom so they don't care if they butcher half of their ship character, as long as they can continue shipping this bland and again bad characterization of half of the ship they supposed to like. It's even bad when this ship fans are badmouthing half of the ship’s canon love interest which is a woman of color character. Like bam, they really went for misogyny and racism to justify their hatred for her.

I don’t get the whole crying misogyny and homophobia thing but sometimes it IS very blatant that someone is using stuff to hide both misogyny and homophobia at times.

A lot of damijon hate is homophobic and a lot of twitter damijon stans hide their misogyny.

I also believe that we can just dislike any character, for reasons or no reason at all. There shouldn’t have to be a reason for you to dislike anything ever. No one is obligated to like something.

I saw a post that was like “Damijon stans don’t have a good enough reason to dislike Daminika-“ on twitter (of course) but I was like, nice, we’re generalizing a group of people in a queer space and spewing BS on how people should be obligated to like something be it feminine, masculine, POC or whatever it may be.

Making generalizations that ALL people in a queer space sounds like something a y’know… would do, but eh, that’s just me.

Personally, If you like JonJ*y, go right the hell ahead. I cannot stop you, I know that and I don’t care to. Why you’d want to inflict that on yourself is beyond me because obviously, I don’t like it but me hating it should not stop you from enjoying it.

Notice how I always censor the words and never tag hate - it’s because I don’t want any Jonj*y enjoyers getting this on their dash and feeling bad about their ship. It’s totally up to you what you consume and enjoy and someone on the internet should never take that away from you.

I’m the same way with damijon and it’s the happiest I have never been. I realize that people feel the need to drag other’s down to make themselves feel better. I know it’s cliche but it’s real. It’s always easier to trash and degrade someone else than it will ever be to work on yourself.

Damijon is my OTP. I’ll always stand behind it for the near future and no one’s gonna take that away from me. Anon hate, hate dms, hate berating on twitter. All these things will only make me like it more all the while watching you spiral into loneliness and self pity the moment you realize no one on twitter actually cares about what you have to say.

Me on the other hand? Girl, I graduated with a degree in IDGAFeology and I really couldn’t care less about anything someone else has to say about me or how I spend my time. When you take a step back you realize that we really trying to publically humiliate people using an idea of people in our head and shreds of paper that represent life but don’t infact replicate it, how you represent these stories may reflect deeply on you in negative ways but I’m just the type of person who, again, does not care enough, just keep it AWAY from me.

What I’m trying to say is some people really gotta pipe down and live a little. And no prob, anon.

Analyzing my ship taste recently

In the most surface-level way possible

XIAOVEN

The og, the lovers across centuries, my OTP in Genshin.

Very wholesome and angst-ridden ship, I classify it lightly as having the characteristics of “childhood friends to lovers” due to the interpersonal knowledge they (would) have of each other in this ship.

Childhood friends to lovers has always been that devoted ship, “I choose you despite all we meet and will meet, and in every hardship I will stand by you”, and the loyalty that one has for the other is the defining characteristic of this ship for me.

This is how I see Xiaoven. So, despite the fact they’re not actually childhood friends, it has that same timeframe of a long time knowing each other and utter devotion to each other.

Now let’s look at another example of one of my “old” fave ships in Genshin.

JEANLISA (…anybody think I was going for Shenjin? It works for this, but Imma put it at the end because this ship better proves my comparisons)

Jeanlisa is prob best fit for friends to lovers but it has all the same characteristics of childhood friends to lovers. (Coworkers to lovers works as well, but I think that dynamic is more flexible in what type of coworker they are—enemies? Begrudging allies? Married couple? Or friends…)

Friends to lovers feels more like the oblivious “childhood friends to lovers” version of the dynamic. Both of them act like they’re committed to the other, but it takes one moment of “Oh shit, I actually really like you” for everything to hit it off. One starts to realize they know more about that person than other friends that they start to naturally seek touch or crave touch when it isn’t given; maybe there’s a moment or two of seeing a couple and wondering what the difference is between that couple’s relationship and their friendship is—to only realize there is no difference other than the label or the intimacy (that they would be utterly okay with!).

Again, there’s a dedication there, but it doesn’t have quite the long timeframe—yet. It’s wanting to have those long years with the other person.

Jeanlisa has that vibe, but it contains a touch of angst with one life being cut short, and perhaps that’s the kicker of a moment that brings them together into the next step of their relationship.

All right, onto the new ships…

WRIONEY

I’m so stereotypical for this, but I love a good enemies to lovers ship. I was so wrong for only seeing the women (Furina, Arelcchino) for Lyney’s potential ships, only to have my mind blown with Wriothesley’s introduction. This a good ship.

Complete opposite of Xiaoven, there’s no devotion or loyalty here—there’s not even an ounce of trust! Destruction, betrayal, blackmail—everything to break down any spark of a relationship here. And yet, why is the ship so appealing?

Well, any enemies to lovers ship is about seeing the worst sides of two people, being confronted with the honesty in the hatred, and finding a weird sort of trust in that consistency—this person may hide their motives from me and their real life, but at least I know my standing with them. There’s no front of trying to make one appear to be the best version of themselves in order to impress; there is teeth gnashing and blood drawn and lots of high-tension moments of bringing someone to the edge and waiting for them to snap.

EXACTLY what we get with WRIONEY. So where does the romance come in?

It comes from the honesty. Hatred is only a coin flip from love as they say (LOL don’t take that too seriously), and I believe that, in seeing the worst of each other, there’s a stronger connection that can be built through the pain.

It takes the timeframe needed from childhood friends to lovers and cuts it into pieces with one pivotal moment that spotlights the other character’s true self—that shows everything that the other needed to know—and then it’s slowly rebuilding everything you initially misunderstood about that person into something that aligns with the true self you saw earlier.

And it’s devastatingly romantic.

Let’s take another example:

ARLEFURI

Gonna be honest, saw someone characterize this as toxic yuri and I’ve been in such a mood since I’ve been waiting for Heartbreak Studios to release The Lovers.

This is obviously enemies to lovers, but with a fascinating dynamic.

LOTS of power dynamics, high tension, and danger in this ship, and I’m really looking forward to more scenes to get a better pin on Arlecchino’s character and WHAT IS HAPPENING WHAT with everything going on with them.

The hints I’ve been given to what their dynamic could be like certainly starts as enemies, but usually enemies (in the ship dynamic) are more seen on equal footing to their hatred of each other and thus the poisonous remarks exchanged between the two should be equal (or, at least, what I’m used to seeing).

Arlefuri isn’t quite on that level—yet, or maybe you see that happening behind closed doors, without an audience in your headcanons. It’s certainly an “enemy that hates the other, and the other that hates them too but is also desperately scared of them.” You get the captor/captive dynamic that is fun in of itself to explore.

Usually, the breaking moment in these dynamics is the captor performing some action of excellent standing, either fully for the captive’s benefit or for what the captive loves.

For what changes the captor, in Arlefuri’s case, I see a moment of the captive defying the expectations of the captor.

Honestly, thinking Furina is a selfish, worthless archon is quite in line for typical captor/captive dynamics.. from what I’ve heard or whatever (LOL).

IN CONCLUSION,

I’ve taken a turn for high-strung ship dynamics with Fontaine 😏

Okay, but seriously, these complicated ships are absolutely my jam and it’s quite fun to see so much potential for exploration of individual characters in ship dynamics, and Wrioney and Arlefuri are scratching those itches nicely.

(Anybody have any interesting ships or friendships with Navia? 👀)

Anybody interested in Shenhe ships additional note:

SHENJIN falls closer to strangers to lovers with a longer timeframe of gaining that friends to lovers title, but it still holds under a more wholesome ship.

For strangers to lovers, there’s an added spice of getting to know someone you have no opinion of recently (really, any ship ever) but as adults and with Yun Jin’s interest in Shenhe’s true backstory, you have the classic slow burn with the angst being the fear of letting someone in and know the true you. Who do you trust with the most delicate parts of your heart?

In Yun Jin’s case, who do you let see the most tired parts of yourself, under the makeup and after the performance?

SHENLAN is closer to my current fave ship dynamics, another version of strangers to lovers but in very fun “let’s add some death-defying moments!”

It almost feels like it should be an enemies to lovers ship, but Shenhe doesn’t really have that vibe of creating an intentional enemy, and Yelan could make herself an enemy and absolutely push people away, but it more feels like a childhood friend you try to shake off but never do despite their dedication to you, without the years of dedication.

It gives more the coworkers/buddy cop dynamic: I have your back and you have mine, but I don’t want you to risk your life for me and I will pretend I won’t risk my life for you.”

Fun, right?

Then there’s of course the pivotal moment of “Oh no you risked your life for me and now I see we’re in it for real and can I take you on a date next Saturday and truly get to know the real you—which I tried not to do all this time since?”

Anyway, hope you enjoyed these fun little thoughts.

Give me a character and I will answer: Dazzler!

Thanks for giving me a chance to rant about my fave Badass Diva, babe! Others feel free to send in a name and choose particular things

Why I like them: I really loved how tenacious and driven she was to reach her personal goals and doesnt like to compromise on that but she's still such a caring person that she cant help but jump in to help or save people as a hero, even tho she continually said she didnt wanna be a hero. Just her compassion for people in general, even who I wouldnt think deserve her compassion: 

Her first thought in both instances with her stalker, Karl Fredricks (Dazzler #26 & Uncanny X-Men ‘63 #260), is to reason with him and try to keep him from getting hurt. Also when battling him one of her main concerns is him hurting anyone else before she thinks of him hurting her.

Why I don't: There arent really points about her I don't like. I guess my biggest gripes are that writers tend to relegate her to a gimmick cameo character more often than not and miss opportunities to showcase her immense powerset range and the deep connections she has with a large portion of the not just other X-Men characters but the other marvel heroes as well. 

Also just the original fact the editors didnt allow her to be based on Grace Jones, like John Romita Jr. intended. It would've been noce to have another dark skinned Black woman hero, with star power outside of Ororo Munroe. And gosh the way they probably couldve bonded and had eachother to lean on. There's just so many "what ifs" that woulda probs changed not only Ali's trajectory but the Xmen/Marvel universe at large. But I still love Ali as she is now too. 

Favorite scene (imma do arc): The "What If" arc of Ali as Galactus' long time herald. The way she found away to discover new planets for him to devour but made sure that they didnt have sentient life that'd be destoryed in that consumption! Ugh says so much about her character!! Also that in her time as his herald he grew compassionate to the plights of other beings, seemingly. Because of her leading by example and what not. It's just soooo good and what I want more of in stories starring her. 🥹

Favorite season/movie (portrayal): My rp days version 😏 --But for real, she's only been in a couple adaptations and I dont know if any do her justice. I havent fully watched the episodes of them in the Outback but yeah

I never know what canon ages truly are but I feel like Ali is less than 10 years his senior and so she's like a big sister and friend to him and it's just really wholesome

In canon-- Ali and Longshot, they've been through so much and if im not mistaken, literally share pieces of eachothers' souls and while things never work out romantically with them in all the times they get back together, I just love the idea of them still being besties regardless

Headcanon:

Gives amazing hugs, doesn't let go till the other person starts to pull away. Read somewhere once about being this way with kids cause you never know how little someone gets of contact and how they might need that physical reassurance.

Unpopular opinion:

Prefacing that to each their own and no hate to other people's preferences 🙏🏽 

Personally I don't wanna see Queen B or Taylor S. portray Dazzler in any future media

While Dazzler had global reach and star power in her prime within the Marvel universe, I just would love others to portray her. My top pick was and always will be Kylie Minogue, but that ship has probs sailed, so more contemporary picks are Janelle Monáe, JoJo, Kesha or Zara Larsson

A wish: She gets to be in some arcs where the writers truly understand her and let her shine fully--iving on top that it happens with an artists that stays true to her strawberry blonde haircolor

in the end, du’met made a good replica of murder castle and he’s clearly very intelligent. and considering how charlie has a somewhat gray moral & rational stick, it makes sense for him to be like this man might have done so much more, if only he wasn’t insane.

like, this is a part of why i can realistically see du’met & charlie being a thing. only this sort of dude can see in du’met smth other, than just a deranged man. prob in the same way, du’met can see smth in charlie, that isn’t a ‘failure’ or whatever else, other people call him as.

sirius picking remus's outfit: ok s obviously never gets the chance to select clothes for the ornery ornery moony so he is thrilled for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity he is going ALL OUT.  r is wearing thick dark eyeliner, golden shimmer glitter on his cheeks and eyelids, probs a black or metallic golden lip as well.  and the clothes!!  practically drag, actually, you know what, not even practically, just straight-up drag.  fishnets, leather skirt, some sort of weird barely existent black mesh top, punk-looking jewelry (spiked collar or some shit etc), aaaaand ... sirius's docs bc he outright refused the stilettos!  (bad knees yknow.)  r is DEEPLY deeply deeply uncomfortable, crossing his arms over his chest and glaring etc, but too bad this is s's one big chance to realize the DREAM and he’s going for it hard.

remus picking sirius's outfit: all right very different situation here, r would refuse the challenge and simply say that he has no interest in selecting his partner's clothing bc s is an adult and fully capable of dressing himself. but if we held a gun to his head and forced him to pick s's cloth let’s be real he’d pick what sirius always wears anyways, not out of laziness but bc in spite of any teasing or purported disdain he secretly loves what s usually wears and think s looks so fuckin hot all the time.  so ether way we should honestly just expect to see s in his usual sirius black uniform of docs, jeans, t-shirt, leather jacket, gay earring, dog collar, etc etc.

ohmygoshhh this question! could spend pages and pages answering this question. esp because i see both of them as mainly saying “i love you” non-verbally, prone to just leaving the words implied nine times out of ten (or more). so!

r saying “i love you” to s: in school, finishing the boring parts of his homework for him (!) & embarking on various ill-advised michiefs just to make s laugh; later, quietly organizing his records, clothes, books, toiletries, etc etc; cooking for s (even if let’s be honest he’s not very good at it); diligently writing/responding to letters whenever they’re separated; generally letting s pick what film they’ll watch or record they’ll listen to etc in spite of their taste often being drastically different (and r being quite certain that his is superior); taking padfoot for walks; sharing the crossword; dry but actually gentle teasing; leaving little notes around the flat that basically say nothing (went for eggs—tea in kitchen—back in twenty—etc.) but the love is traced in every letter

—Tbh none of these fully encapsulate how I feel for this ship but I do wonder constantly why the hell few others actually appreciate it.

How long will they last? - Life.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - Alright I spent too long thinking about this because I have several headcanons for how/when they fall in love but eventually landed on my somewhat canon compliant one — Zuko falls for Aang first. Though he only realizes his feelings towards Aang after he and Mai break off their relationship for a final time. Aang falls for Zuko later, after he and Katara mutually break away from each other when they realize they’ve grown to love each other purely as friends.

How was their first kiss? - Initiated by Zuko their first kiss is sweet but charged full of all the things he didn’t know how to say but desperately wanted to convey. Aang laughs softly when they pull apart and says, “I wondered when you’d finally do it.”

Wedding

Who proposed? - Aang proposed marriage between them but Zuko had been thinking about it. However he had been hesitant to bring it up because of the potential political issues that might arise when the Avatar officially bound himself to the FireLord. This is an issue that the two ultimately decide is worth dealing with together.

Who stressed the most? - Zuko

How fancy was the ceremony? - I imagine their union happening one of two ways. One, they have two separate ceremonies. One for the Fire Nation following all their customs and one for themselves following all the Air Nomad customs (tho I do wonder how likely it was that the Air Nomads had formal weddings of any kind considering they were so huge on freedom). Anyway, the second version is that they have a ceremony which merges the two cultural traditions.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - Idk Ozai probably.

Who is on top? - Ima just open these questions with it DEPENDS. So like if you wanna skip all the answers here go ahead because ultimately in my mind, it really just depends upon what’s happening between them in the given moment for like, every single one of these questions.

Who is the one to instigate things? - Depends. Both are likely to instigate. Zuko usually when they firebend together and Aang when Zuko lets go of his dignified FireLord image and is just himself.

How healthy is their sex life? - Very.

How kinky are they? - they’d probs be like at a 7?? Idk honestly this isn’t something I’ve thought about much. Lol

How long do they normally last? - suppose it depends on when and where they got busy.

Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - probably not, but this seems like something that’s dependent upon who initiated it.

How rough are they in bed? - I think how “rough” they get is purely dependent on the moment.

How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? - They are definitely the types to hold each other close after.

Children

How many children will they have naturally? - Nada.

How many children will they adopt? - Four. For each nation! But like, by complete accident and Toph or Sokka are the ones to point this out. I like to imagine the first kid they adopt into their lives would maybe be an orphaned child from the people at the Northern Air Temple. Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Would depend mostly on who’s available. I like to imagine Aang wouldn’t like the idea of using servants to help care for their kids so probably him when he’s around.

Who is the stricter parent? - Zuko, he’d have had a much more structured upbringing so he’d definitely be the more serious/strict parent between them.

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Ok I don’t think any of the kids would go to a formal school because they are royalty by virtue of being adopted by the FireLord. So they’d have many tutors. But like, in regards to dangerous stunts period? Zuko. Because Aang would absolutely join them (for fun and to keep them safe).

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? Who is the more loved parent? - Aang often has to force veggies on his children thus losing out half the time on the “favorite parent” vote. However Zuko suffers the same when he refuses to allow them to do something dangerous.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - They were raised by two people who know very well how to avoid getting caught, so the real question is, how often do either of them even need to?

Cooking

Who does the most cooking? - Ok so I like to think they’d have places to run away to all over the world and in those places they’d handle their own cooking. Zuko is pathetically bad at it so Aang does all the cooking which also means the whole family collectively eats vegetarian when they go off on breaks. This is because while Aang is fine with meat being cooked around him he really doesn’t care to cook it himself.

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Aang, but eventually Zuko (once he learns that people eat Turtleducks) when he turns towards being vegetarian too. Sokka and all but one of their kids hate it. 😂

Who does the grocery shopping? - When they go off to one of their get away places Aang does the shopping but Zuko goes with him everytime.

How often do they bake desserts? - Aang does as often as possible but Zuko likes trying to bake Air Nomad desserts for Aang.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Zuko goes through a change from being a meat guy to a veggie guy (tho he still does eat meat occasionally). So they become a couple of salad eaters.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Aang.

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Both. Aang because he likes trying new things. Zuko because every now and again he’d really like to have some meat.

I don’t do angst endings typically, but Family Secrets is probs the most obvious choice, given what happens at the end.

Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you've ever written? 

Rarely, typically they’re between my own fics (the story that crosses the paths of Crossroads and Family Secrets AU’s, literally titled Crossover, creative name I know OTL I was out of ideas) 

Or between me and other people’s fics. Currently there’s two, both with Crossroads: one with Theteapotofdoom’s fic Something Good, and another with leontheneon’s fic Here with you. Both stories are basically a two part series that is non canon to actual Crossroads. The first story is finished, second one has two chapters left...that...I uh...struggle to write it seems OTL

Have you ever received hate on a fic? 

Not really no? I can only remember one time with somebody kind of demanding me to completely rewrite one fic in the past. It wasn’t really hate, more just...kinda unreasonable in my eyes? This was years ago by now.

While I did understand their side and the particular struggle they had (once they actually explained it, the first comment at the time came off pretty rude and demanding), I still feel them wanting me to re-write an entire multi-chapter fic just for them is a bit unreasonable, like said.

Like it wasn’t just couple of grammatical errors that was their issue, we’re talking weeks and even months long process of completely reworking multi-chapter story, because the grammar wasn’t tip top perfect. (I’m not a native speaker so there’s bound to be some mistakes; pointing out small occasional things is one thing - asking me to rewrite an entire multi-chapter story is another)

You can imagine that is not exactly high on my priorities list with IRL responsibilities and being more focused on the actual content of what I write, the ongoing stories I’m updating. This fic isn’t even finished yet either, so...yeah. Like after they explained their side of the story I was a bit more understanding, but its still....a bit ridiculous and unreasonable in my eyes to ask somebody to do such a massive overhaul when the story isn’t even finished yet?? Like maybe once its done and I have time I can go and edit it, but not when I haven’t even finished it lmao

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Nah. I don’t care about smut a whole lot personally. I much more enjoy writing emotional scenes, character interactions and mystery. Plot over porn basically lmao 

Have you ever had a fic stolen? 

I don’t...do people actually do this? It feels like such a weird and pointless thing to do. It’s fanfic. stuff you write for fun and for free, for people to read for free. I’d also imagine its pretty easy to get caught given AO3 shows when you first posted your story. 

Have you ever had a fic translated?

 Yes, a couple of times. In Russian and I think other one was Chinese?

Have you ever co-written a fic before? 

Writing the crossovers was kinda that? Like I asked feedback from Tea and Leon on how to write them. there was also actually third crossover story that was supposed to happen (only I wasn’t going to be the one to write it) but this project has been shelved as the other person had to drop majority of online activity due to some IRL health related things. (I’m just glad they recently contacted me to inform they were doing better)

What’s your all time favorite ship? 

Right now it’s..probably pretty obvious its Shigadabi, but I can never really say any ship is my all time fave, as it always changes depending on the fandom lmao. 

I guess my favorite character x proper sleep/emotional stability/happiness will always be the OTP

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Oof. I always try to finish every single one, and if I absolutely know I won’t, I tend to just delete them. Thankfully I’ve only done it thrice. Which I guess is still a lot, but compared to how much I write, in context not really? 

What are your writing strengths?

From what I’ve gathered of feedback, its typically emotional moments/character dialogue and interaction/character arcs and so. Mystery plots too. Or maybe that last one is just me lmao

What are your writing weakness?

Personally, while I tend to get positive feedback on both, sometimes I feel like I struggle to choose a good pacing for a fic, and fight scenes are always a pain. Namely, I might struggle with making the pace too long-winded and slow sometimes. Ironically, my IRL update pacing is probs a bit too fast in turn. (To add another layer of irony, I got an update ready for Unravel that I’ll post after making this tag)

Also writing shorter stories. I’ve been trying to write one-shots more (like the Spinaraki series thing) to kinda try and get myself to pack up my stories better and not let them always spiral out of control haha

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I did try to do that once with a fic I deleted, I had a native speaker help me with the canadian french bits. This person is no longer active on tumblr, and I deleted that fic because I realized I’d never finish it. 

Technically tho, as a non-native English speaker, EVERY word is in other language to me lmao. I could only add Finnish as an extra one easily, and it rarely makes sense to do so anyway.

What was the first fandom you ever wrote for? 

MCU. It’s what I originally made my AO3 for, as I felt brave enough to post things. I also can’t remember writing fandom related stuff before that, it was typically more oc related. Writing fics has helped me learn a lot about world-building, character consistency and all that stuff, without having to make everything from scratch (tho I do enjoy doing that as well of course). I feel like my original work writing has improved too thanks to my fic writing shenanigans in a way lmao. Tho that might just be me, IDK

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? 

Oooof. This changes a lot depending on the time. I can never really pick just one either: my current favorites are Stringmaster, The neighbor and Family Secrets

Stringmaster because I love building the Steampunk AU, and Tomura’s relationship with Dabi and his Sensei, The neighbor because I personally think the romance build up in that one is probably one of the best I’ve done so far (the character dialogue in that is among my favorites I’ve written as well) and FS, because it taught me a lot about character building through writing a character like Hisashi.

 Plus I just really like Hisashi. 

And baby Izuku and little Tenko are super adorable. 

And Inko is the best mum.

 Also the fact the whole story is so ironic in a sense its still kinda funny to me. 

The only writer I know that might be around rn is @nightlilly0110 soo...I guess I’ll tag them if they want to do this! Anybody who’s a writer can snatch this too of course ;)

Okay I’m once again in a mood, having a hard time actually writing so I’m just gonna vibe out some ideas and move on. I have too many ideas that I wanna read. For both kaishi and CoAi. The struggle. How do y’all multiship???

Hug Prescription (kaishi) I’m slowly writing this one, so I won’t spoil it, I don’t even have it all the way planned out.

Kiss Me More (shinshi) I just like kissing fics. All vibes, I have nothing really planned but I did start it. Like a paragraph in, but idk where I’m going with this. One shot most likely.

Various song fics that I plan out whenever certain songs come on. I’ve accepted I will never escape these ideas, I’m just not going to always write them now.

Hazey (kaishi) Knowing we were in love was enough for me, but not for you. Yet another memory loss fic that no one asked for. It starts shinshi and ends kaishi (but it was supposed to be kaishi the whole time) I low key have this all planned out too.

* I can’t seem to get away from mentioning the grey otp potential even when it’s supposed to be all about the ship that stole my heart

Grey (undecided on the ship. It could go either way and I may end up with two endings) My most ambitious fic idea that I will never get to. There’s like too many things to talk about here but I guess fake dating. Canonish the Black Org still exists but it’s different now. Basically Shiho has to go back to being Sherry and Shinichi is still trying to take them down meanwhile Kid has his own agenda but he’s working with Shiho

* low key have a prequel thought up for this verse but it would be a shinshi fake dating fic and honestly that means Grey would have to end up as a shinshi fic so idk

Best Friend’s Roommate (shinshi) a strict kaishi brotp but they are super flirty and everyone thinks they’re together. But it’s shinshi cause he’s smitten but also conflicted cause isn’t she dating his bff?

Just Friends (shinshi/CoAi idk yet) I just wanted an excuse to write him being aggressively like oh so we’re just friends? I’ll show you what a great boyfriend I can be!

First (shinshi) I realize I have a thing for ships where the guy is a virgin and the girl is the one that’s experienced. But also guys (people in general) can be kinda obsessed with their firsts so… what I’m saying is for reasons I won’t go into yet, they have sex and well… I don’t wanna say he falls in love with her because of that but low key that’s the vibe, except she’s all yes I like you (not to his face of course) but I know this is not real so we should just move on.

Breakup Fic (shinshi) I envision this to be a follow up to Fleeting Feelings, but basically they finally get together and it doesn’t work out. But it’s the unresolved feelings and the yearning and the I still love you and I want to be together but maybe we’re not meant to be… but that’s bullshit cause love should be enough shouldn’t it? They have to get back together, right?

No Title (shinshi) because I can’t get my mind out of the gutter ever since I started the I Only Lie When I Love You verse, it’s like the sex pollen trope. I actually have a part one and two cause you know, she gets it first and then he does. So there’s that

Secret Dating (kaishi) they get together but do not tell anyone, and well shinichi is suspicious. Knowing me I would probs mention CoAi potentials but this is just a dumb idea

Today Was A Fairytale (shinshi) a fairytale retell with my queen getting all the happily ever afters. Who says she can’t be a princess?

‘Love and Redemption’ eps 51-59 (final thoughts)

I feel empty but I’m happy. I finished it, it’s over and it’s going to my top favorite dramas of this year. What a crazy, beautiful, painful but rewarding ride! Also, that’s a huge ass poster but it seemed appropiate for the final post and it’s just gorgeous.

This is a very long post, you’ve been warned lol

First thing first: WE GOT A HAPPY ENDING. I loved the story but I knew, going into it that it was a hell of angst fest and that held me back a bit, except that I learned that it ended happily, and hey, I’m down for those endings. What can I say? I don’t do sad endings, real life is already messed up enough. Also, my boy Sifeng remained from beginning to end, my favorite character in the drama AND enters my honorable list of favorite male leads in dramas I keep thinking about making a real post with that list, maybe soon 

I love Xuanji a lot. I want to make that clear before saying what’s next. While I think that she was definitely a lot dumber and gullible that I’d liked her to be, I understood why she was acting the way she did. During  eps 41-50 she didn’t know what Sifeng was doing the way that we as viewers did. She had no idea. Could she have figured it out if she’d tried? Yes, but also, she had a precedent of letting revenge and resentment get the best of her in another 9 lives... so it was not really that crazy that she tried to kill Sifeng. Did I wanted to slap some sense into her? Totally, but I think she was punished enough for doubting him. Not only because she learned the truth of all those past lives and that she always hurt Sifeng but because our male lead himself punished her by pushing her away and given her the cold shoulder once she found him. After two years, mind you.

I think that, if you add all that up, it’s actually a bit more than what she deserved. Poor girl. Also, she totally made up for it once Sifeng forgave her, my heart melted/broke while she cared for him before and after finding out he was dying yet again, because of her, because he saved her.

And then Xuanji made the biggest, most in your face declaration of love and devotion in the whole three realms, when she found out that she was in fact not only the God of War but also the Star of Mosha aka the most terrible and evil dude to ever exist (Dijun’s words not mine) and still opened the crystal lamp... Because only by doing that she could save Sifeng’s life. She basically said “fuck the 3 realms and their peace, if Sifeng’s dead then I don’t care for anything” even when she knew she’d become a man which is hilarious to me bc what the fuck censors?

So Sifeng was no longer on mortal danger but he lost Xuanji sort of since she was now a man lol and thus we never broke the cycle of “we must make Sifeng suffer throughout the whole show”. I can appreciate the consistency of it, even if it broke my heart to see him like that.

And then the drama turned into a BL drama. Which made me laugh for a good almost 4 episodes. I loved it, it’s true. I can’t deny watching Sifeng stare lovingly at a man while holding his hands and telling him “I won’t leave you” didn’t do things to my heart and that my fangirling personality was left unaffected. I do have trouble coming to an understanding of the censors and their mystical ways because they were just not watching the drama. Or maybe they were, since they cut the ep count from 70 to 59. I do wonder what else was in that part of the story we’ll never get to see. Probs more gay stuff and hey! how dare you deprive me of it, censors?

I’m so glad most side plots and problems were resolved before these last 9 episodes, because then we had all that time to focus on OTP achieving a well deserved happy ending while exploring BL options AND the whole “God of War/Star of Mosha are the same person” was finally explained. Which, wow, it was heavy and fucking Dijun, you really are the shittiest shit excuse of a God to ever shit-exist. What an asshole. I felt really bad Luohuo Jidu, to be betrayed and mutilated in that way by a person you cared for and trusted... that’s a terrible violation to suffer. Truly horrible. He didn’t deserved any of that, he was innocent and he wasn’t going to harm anyone or bring war to the heavens. And the ending they gave to Dijun is my one problem with this drama, the one thing that I hated. But tbh no ending would’ve ever felt satisfactory to me. In the end, Xuanji’s attitude, indifference, was the best position to take, since revenge and hate wouldn’t have done any good.

I did enjoy a bit Dijun’s breakdown when the Heavenly Emperor showed him what could’ve happened if he’d never meddled in the whole affair with his stupid motivation to “save and guard the 3 realms”. It was all caused by him... and as much as I hate to admit it, without him, there wouldn’t be a drama. Think about it, had he not created the God of War, Xuanji wouldn’t exist and Sifeng would’ve never fallen in love with her. Everything was Dijun’s fault, including the love story and I feel conflicted about it ngl hahaha.

Which brings me to the revelation that Sifeng was XiXuan while in Heaven, the son of the Heavenly Emperor, a prince of the Heavens and the gasp, the shock, the screams out of my mouth!! It made a lot of sense that only someone in a high position would fly right in the middle of a heavenly execution and say “You’re not dying today, I will make them send you to the mortal realm and go through 10 tribulations. And I’m going with you.” Like !!!!!! Sifeng was SOOOOO Sifeng even before being Sifeng. Which is the reason why even Luohuo Jidu fell for Sifeng ha! 

This was just Sifeng being a sexy badass telling his bf/gf “You need me”

The whole thing while Sifeng was on hell or whatever it’s called, with the Star of Mosha, was totally a BL drama plot and I was loving it. What a way to truly love someone, Sifeng. No matter if she was a dude or a woman or public enemy number 1, he was loyal and supportive of Xuanji in whatever form. Of course no one could resist that level of adoration and ultimately, Sifeng’s fierce love is what saved his life at the end since Luohuo Jidu gave him half of his heart, which reminds me, Heavenly Emperor is really one bad father he barely showed any concern for a son he hadn’t seen in 1000 years and died like 10 times. Wtf? He was also not only a bad father, but also the worst Heavenly Emperor, since he did nothing to prevent any of the problems in the last thousand years!

That was sooo straight of you, drama ;)

I didn’t really understood how Xuanji and Luohuo Jidu got separated but since they already had an independent mind and personality of the other, I guess that was the key? Whatever, love conquers all, and always wins.

After all the big revelations and stopping the end of the world, Sifeng was also in a coma for like a year or who knows how long and poor Xuanji waited/cared for him patiently. To me, it feels safe to say she suffered as much as Sifeng did and loved as loyally as him. Their wedding and their wedding night was stuff out of a fairytale and ChengYi’s ost was the perfect song for it, I was soooooo happy and couldn’t stop smiling like a fool.

The scene with the party, demons and mortals united and celebrating like equals and getting drunk, with Sifeng following his wife around the place while carrying their baby on his arms and trying to get her to put down the wine hahaha was the perfect and a well deserved ending for them.

I like to think they ascended again after a long, happy mortal life, and were free to love and adore each other for eternity. Sifeng, Xuanji, yours was a crazy as f*ck ride, full of pain and tears, but I’m so glad you loved each other so deeply, against all odds, curses, lies and whatnot. Cheers to you and your happiest ending!

I don’t know if I want a season 2! On one hand, if it’s the same cast I’d just have to see it, no question about it, though it ended perfectly. And if it is another cast, why do a second season at all?

1. How I feel about this character.

My gem. My beloved. My priceless piece of Summerset. Literally everytime I like a new character in a diff game its just a Rumarin clone. No one can replace the OG and I REALLY wish he had a dynamic character arc. There was a reddit post about him and Zora's character iirc and it made me wish Kris gave us more with him like.... break down Rumarin through something tragix and rebuild him as a better (or worse) person 😭

2. All the people I ship romantically with this character.

Gael-galad's my only ldb and I usually pair him with Ru, but I do a funny polycule au with getetteroo's Durth and he's a homewrecker LOL

He'd be besties with Inigo tbh. I honestly haven't finished 3dnpcs as a whole yet, but I LOVE the dynamic he has with everyone in Sleeping Giant quest!!!

4. Unpopular opinion

I think I like making characters a lot more mean than they are LOL. I def think Rumarin’s an awful domestic partner, but it doesn't mean he wouldn't try. I dig around his dialogues from time to time, and he definitely gives off the petty "im only here for me" energy, though its not as strong compared to other similar character tropes (like The Red Prince from DOS2). I honestly dont have any other unpop opinion cause there really isnt much 😔

5. One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character.

Break him akdhsjdbsjdh i want to see the man broken and crying and having to face his emotions without deflecting it. It prob happened like once at the end of the Mages Guild quest but like something that would give him that character arc he deserves 😭 imo it would have to be Otero related cause thats what did trigger him to be honest about his emotions in MG (and GOD not even the ldb made him nearly as real, as seen by the scene before you go to Skuldafn. He still deflects his fear even if you romanced him). Poor dude's repressed. Also pretty sure he gets upset during the funeral after the Companions questline, so def death and Otero is a touchy subject for him.

I wish people do expand on him one day (cause ik his va is totally cool with doing more lines for him) I just miss the banana elf but I dont have the mind focus to sit down and finally finish 3dnpcs rn 😔

Hmmm see I'm not really a big shipper in general so my only real PJO OTP is Percabeth (which is likely easy to guess lol).

I have a few things i ship casually, like Frazel and Silena/Clarisse/Beckendorf but in general I'm not a big shipper.

I also don't really read stories for the romance, I prefer plot heavy stories. I don't mind the romance but if the story centers around it and doesn't have plot and world building to support it I'm probs not interested lol.

omg hello hello!! this is weird I haven't gotten an ask in years lol anyways I've watched kdramas on and off for a long time so here’s a list of old/new shows that are memorable to me in no particular order~~~

1) do you like brahms?- man oh man as an introvert, this drama just slapped me with all the relatability. It has the perfect balance of melo, angst, and swoon. 10/10 would watch again just to see my bbies Kim min jae and Park Eun Bin get all heart eyes for each other :’) 

2) coffee prince- a true classic- u simply can’t call yourself a kdrama fan if u haven’t watched this one

3) misaeng- if u want fluffy, don't watch this lol it’s v realistic and painful but like..in a good way, highly recommend- acting and character development is top notch

4) because this is my first life- so so so good! one of the few dramas out there that actually do justice to both the main couple & it’s side characters!!

5) reply series- I didn’t watch the second season, but the first and third are wonderful (even if my otp didn't make it in the third season.. still not over it)

6) hospital playlist- v wholesome. great friendship, fucking hilarious, ost is amazing. just an overall good show to watch

7) the secret life of my secretary- this came out like a year ago and had a bunch of ridiculous kdrama tropes which normally would make me drop a show BUT the actors had top notch chemistry and it just somehow worked. v fluffy and cute

8) my girl- I think this might be one of the first dramas I watched like waaayyy back so it’s very close to my heart. loved Lee Dong wook ever since hehehee

9) Scarlett heart ryeo- If u like to suffer like me, watch this. V painful. Don't get attached to any characters- that’s all I gotta say about this one

10) Gangnam beauty- real good, shows the crazy side of unattainable beauty standards and expectations for women in Korea (and honestly everywhere else) also if you like dramas where the male lead is just oh so smitten for the girl- this one is for u

11) extraordinary you- I recently just watched this as my “distraction drama” while waiting for new dylb episodes but ended up binging anyways bc its so funny and cute??? Like I love how they make fun of drama tropes so much it’s literally such a fresh plot line and the actress is great!! I feel like it’s hard to pull off her character but she balanced the aegyo/ bubblehead/ sympathetic character so well that it didn’t come off as annoying. V recommended

12) the idle mermaid- okay so from what I remember they cancelled this one so the ending was v abrupt but this drama was actually so good during its run!! I’m still pissed the episodes were cut down bc the storyline literally went from 0-100 real quick- but not in a good storytelling way lol. it had so much potential but I don’t think it got enough views or something so tvn said bye byeeee

13) suspicious partner- this is prob the only one on this list that I truly loved in the first half but dropped by like ep 14?? ji chang wook and nam ji hyun’s chemistry was simply radiating off the screen but the story line just kinda got mehhh by the end for me tbh and I ended up reading the recaps to see what happened in the end...I watched this as the episodes were coming out so if I was able to binge watch I would have prob finished it. regardless, the first 3/4 of this drama is truly superb, thus I’m gonna add it on the list

14) Uncanny Counter- no romantic plot but my god this show is so good and action packed and heartwarming

15) Into the Ring- I did not hear about this drama at all when it was airing which is such a shame!!!! I saw a YouTube fan made video of it and got curious and my god this show is so fuckin good!!! The balance of comedy, politics and romance was superb. Gong and Sera are prob one of the best romantic couples in kdrama land. They got together pretty early to kdrama standards and normally you’d expect there to be a subplot where they’d break up or some shit but the writers said nah and we luv to see it :)) so many small intimate and mundane moments between our couple making my heart melt and all. If u like soft bois this one is for you!!!! Want a gong myself :’)

3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?

lmao yeah. It’s petty, but honestly, people’s personal morals really bleed through into their fandom opinions, and I’m not willing to put up with any unnecessary hate, especially in environments that are supposed to be fun. I’ve even blocked a few people. In the ppg fandom specifically, I’ve blocked a person who, I guess, thought it was necessary to try to gate-keep with racist/sexist/etc. terminology and ideologies, and I truly don’t have time for that 🤷‍♀️ (a lot of people probs know who I’m vaguing, but if you don’t, you’re lucky)

I can’t say I’ve ever unfollowed anyone for any innocent/not-in-conflict-with-my-morals fandom opinions. Usually, if I don’t agree with something, I just keep scrolling because lol whatever. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.

6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?*

I went into this fandom without having too many preferences, so I didn’t have a pairing that I’ve previously hated!

I guess I could say that while I never really hated them, the color-mixing and color-clashing ships weren’t ever on my radar until I came across the fandom content. Now, I really like them! Particularly, Brick and Bubbles!

1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?*

Before anyone gets pissed off at me, before you get into my answer for this question, I’d like to really stress that you’ve got to go into it with absolutely zero fanon context. Like, erase all your headcanons from your mind. I’m dead serious. Because I literally DO NOT get why ANY rrbxppg ship would realistically work ever.

Okay, canonically, these six little funky science experiments were dead set on ending each other. The boys were absolutely horrible to the girls. And the girls literally KILL the boys. I know in fairytale romances, nothing stops love, but bruh, it’s hard to come back from murder 😂 And yeah, I know Clipsville showed the girls and the boys together as older teenagers, and they weren’t trying to kill each other, but that was an obvious gag. In the documentary, it was revealed that that particular “clip” was made because a bunch of people wanted the boys and girls to interact again, and CN gave into the demand. (also, lol I know it super embarrassing, but I did watch the documentary. I just really like Craig McCracken) I just don’t think that realistically a canon pairing between the two sets of triplets would ever be considered a healthy relationship. 

Also, ethically, I just—okay listen, I go back and forth with this allllll the time, but the ppgxrrb ships make me confront the “Would I sleep with my clone?” question way too often. Depending on my self-esteem, the answer changes each time. Like sometimes I’m like fuck yeah I would! Other times I’m like, ew, no, I’d have to consider my clone as a twin! I know counterparts aren’t technically clones, BUT the boys really do come across as identical to the girls in the show. The only difference really is their moral alignment (I’m nixing any gender argument). So, I’m like, omg, can I honestly pair these six together in any way??? Are they too close to each other genetically in some sense for this to be morally right??? Like if you ship Brick and Buttercup together, would that just essentially be shipping Brick and Butch/Blossom and Buttercup together in some messed up way??? Is Brick just Blossom, and Blossom just Brick?? Is it better just to ship color-matching instead of mixing???  

On top of all of that, wouldn’t the boys and girls be pseudo cousins since Mojo was the Professor’s lab monkey? Technically, in canon, Mojo ends up being both sets of triplets “creator,” so could the rrb and the ppg be considered siblings of some sort? Some of you are probably like, wow, calm down. Stop thinking about it. They’re science experiments. It’s not so deep. Which I get, but I can’t stop, so let me hit you with something ten times worse: should the girls (or the boys) actually be considered biological siblings? Does sugar, spice, and everything nice make you genetically related? Nothing put in the stirring pot was organic—just a bunch of chemicals. If you ship the boys and girls together this could be a good thing! BUT, but, could some sick fuck use this information to somehow justify shipping siblings (ppgxppg or rrbxrrb) together??? This is a literal nightmare to think about!!

All in all, I can’t think about these pairings too much without getting caught up in the logistics of their existence even if they’re fictional lmaoooo! If it wasn’t for the fandom, I wouldn’t ship them together at all. I just think it’s amazing that the ships took off like they did lol, because their literal (fictional) existence is just one giant mind fuck for me. Anyway, I ship them at the end of the day, but tbh I do it with a bit of a guilty conscience. Is it morally correct to ship clone-like counterparts? Or should counterparts be treated like twins? Does it even fucking matter at the end of the day, it’s just fiction? I don’t know the right answer. But I do know the pairings don’t make sense. 

Aside from the ppgxrrb, I don’t think there are many other BIG fandom wide pairings. Still, I just want to say that I don’t get why people ship Ace and Buttercup together. The pairing sounds off a few major alarms in my head for obvious reasons. There’s also a bunch of crack ships that involve crossovers with other cartoons. Generally, I don’t mind them, but it seems popular to ship Aku (from Samurai Jack) and Blossom together. And I’m real sorry to those devoted shippers, but again I do NOT get it. I see a lot of romantic fan art depicting romantic situations with Blossom still drawn as a child, and like I get Aku is an immortal demon, so “age is just a number,” but again, BIG ALARMS go off in my head.

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*

🙃 🙃 Kind of don’t want to answer this, but I will anyway because only a few people actually read my blog lolol, so lol, yep! And it’s the reds. Don’t shoot me lol. When I was in middle school, I got into this fandom, forgot about it, and then came back when I was hit by a round of nostalgia. I’m finishing up college now, and I can confidentially say that the fanon content for the reds hasn’t changed one bit. Or the demand for it.

I tended to find that a lot of red content follows many archetypes that I’m just not into. Their stories can get a real cringey, real fast. Blossom is always written like this “perfect, except she’s not (but she really is)” character. Like she’s the girl you WISH you could be, but she’s also going through a shit ton of stuff that no person IRL would be able to handle without having a mental breakdown. And sometimes, in some stories, Blossom does have a mental breakdown, but in a sexy way, so she’s still perfect. Generally, there’s still something problematic about Blossom that makes it easy for a reader to relate to her on some level, unlike the way people write Bubbles. And then there’s Brick, who’s broody, hyper-possessive or jealous, and hot figuratively and literally (gotta love the fire/ice trope). He’s the only boy—no! Wait!—the only person who could ever possibly outwit Blossom, and he is just so undeniably attracted to Blossom. They’re the smart power couple that should honestly just hook-up in Chapter One to save everybody time, but they don’t. Nah, they’ve got to survive at least two love triangles before they even consider admitting they’re attracted to each other.  

And don’t get me wrong, none of that’s bad, but there are a million fanfics that go through the same song and dance with these two. And it’s kind of easy to tell when someone’s hardcore projecting onto Blossom because the type of person they’re personally attracted to is the way they write Brick. And I’m not knocking anyone self-projecting onto characters, sometimes people got to do that to give themselves a fun mental break, but bro, I don’t want to read about it. For one, smart broody assholes aren’t my type. Maybe when I was in middle school, but not anymore. And two, it’s just not interesting to me, which is a real shame since the reds are a majority of the fanon content.

Maybe if I found more red stories where the plot isn’t character-driven but plot-driven, so I see the romance between these two characters in a context where it’s not the main focus of the story, it would solve my issue with the pairing. I haven’t found many fics like that, though.

I can’t really think of any reds fic where I’m like ey, this aint bad unless it has a “major character death” tag attached to it lmao (which are always plot driven stories). However, in all honesty, since I’ve stayed away from red content for a while now, I don’t know the current state of things. Maybe there’s been a load more development for these two, or people have broken away from the same plotlines, but I’m too busy to check. I do browse people’s fic rec lists from time to time, but it sort of feels like everyone just puts the same fics on their lists and moves on.

And before someone’s like, “well, you can say all this about the greens or the blues,” just know I’m fully aware. The greens make me cringe too because there’s a shit ton of possessive and abusive storylines filling their story tags. And what makes me super uncomfortable is how people make Buttercup hit Butch or call him derogatory names, oftentimes unprompted. I don’t know why people make Buttercup such an unlikeable and overly aggressive person. I also don’t get why they make Butch some perverted idiot, but to each their own, I guess? Still, I see these green-character patterns most often in red-focused stories, which is another reason why I avoid them. I’ve found a lot of green-focused content that strays from the abusive tropes I try to avoid. Considerably less than I’d like, but the greens are typically the b-plot pairing, so that’s to be expected. Personally, I’d really like to see more content with the greens finding some kind of inner peace, and recently, I’ve seen a few fics that have tried to tackle this concept.

And lol, if you’ve read some of my posts before, you already know that I think the blues are an underdeveloped fanon pairing. The fandom can’t ruin that pairing for me because it never does anything substantial with it.  

Anyway, at the end of the day, I’m just personally not into the way the reds are popularly written, but I get why people are and that’s good with me.

Also she was probs the scariest of the four even without the family revelation purely because of how much damage she did even as one person, not in just the "body count" sense but the just. lasting impact. Oh for sure! Jill is the most evil and also most scary Ghostface, hands down. I think every other Ghostface had like, someone they wouldn’t kill probably. Parents. Kid. But Jill!? She kills her own mom for no reason, and she wasn’t even mad/on bad terms with her. Like my god, two minutes before she’s killed by Jill, her mom is terrified at the thought Jill is in danger and runs to help Sidney go save her. What the fuck. And it’s “Don’t fuck with the original,” I believe, but that’s the exact same message ; )

Yes!!! Gale is goddess—she is the one who figures it out. Bless Dewey too though. God, his face finding Sid. TuT I cry. And the scene where he quotes her book to her and she’s so surprised but he read it and like, read it for real, enough to know direct quotes and a page? 😭😭😭😭 Big brother Dewey. And GOD. Sid is a beast!!! If someone said “Who are you, Michael fucking Myers?” To me I would be like “Bless. ☺️ the ultimate durability compliment”. Yeah, I wish she had gotten even more chewing out, but I think it’s because Jill had nothing left human inside to listen. Not to say something supportive of Roman, bc he’s a piece of shit like every Ghostface, but when she does her “Do you know why you kill people?! Do you??!” He starts shouting “I don’t want to hear it!” And getting distressed, and you can clearly see he knows she’s right on his face when she says her “Becuase you choose to! There is no one else to blame! Why don’t you take some fucking responsibility!” Whereas after Charlie, Sidney says “Even your friends?” all distraught to Jill, and without missing a beat or blinking even Jill goes “Friends? I don’t need friends! I need fans!” There’s just nothing left in her to lecture. She hit 0% humanity left. Which is what will happen eventually if you commit atrocities for fun over and over again and choose to stop viewing people other than yourself as anything but objects.

Yess!!! My girl Sid so beautiful in that red dress, smiling at the book display for her hard work!! 😭😭😭 I love Scream 4 Sidney so much. She’s such a mama bear trying to protect everyone else. Oh, 100%. You know what they say. No on-screen cadaver, death scene don’t matter. Unless I see her rigid corpse in a morgue, you can’t convince me they didn’t find her unconscious but hanging on in the back yard. It was a stomach stab. You can survive that. Plus, Dewey didn’t mention Sidney was alive until Jill brought her up, so there’s no proof he would just mention Kirby being alive if she was. I loved her and god, the scene where she’s crying and throwing every horror title with a sequel she can think of desperately back to back to back trying to save Charlie and breaking down? Holy fuck—one of the best scenes in the franchise Miss Panettiere did not have to go so hard but she did. And for real! What the fuck! Charlie is such a shitbag! Even if you’re a worthless fuckboy, she liked you! What the fuck! Because it was ‘too late?’ What the fuck! And he kills his best friend too, and Jill kills both hers. She goes from watching Shaun of the Dead with her best friend who is keeping her company to help her feel safe, to discarding her corpse for no fucking reason. Ghostfaces tend to be just the world’s most worthless shitbags, don’t they? Disgusting. *Lauren Winters voice* “I feel nothing for you, nothing! But contempt.”
