aw thank you!!🥹💖💖im happy to hear it! and NO i wont kill you, you are so right. the garreth/leander/clora hangout was my fav part of the chapter and also the most fun part to write, and it gave me an appreciation for the leander and garreth dynamic, which is amazing

i now headcanon their relationship like brothers LMAO, garreth constantly badgering leander and getting on his nerves, while leander is just exasperated in dealing with him (BUT IN A FRIENDLY WAY) theyre like characters in a sitcom tbh BAHAHA (and to anyone wondering, im gonna TRY to have the next chap up within the first week of feb!🙏 ive just been busy with the dark relic comic + work + and now i feel a bit under the weather. ive been sleeping almost nonstop for the past 2 days LOL oop)

OH I DIDNT TELL YALL i got hired (full time!!) and i start at the end of this month so hopefully that'll help me pull myself together and get on a good schedule so i can function better and actually get my stuff done and open commissions again

I wonder how many business majors turn out like I did: disillusioned leftists who view all they learned for that degree with a healthy dose of skepticism.

#don't get me wrong there ARE things that are worth knowing. how to distribute a supply chain or scheduling a project efficiently #I'm a big fan of how it taught me to understand tariffs and PPP and comparative productivity etc #but most of what I got out of it was either understanding economics at scale or understanding human psychology/sociology wrt capitalism #anyway. weird thoughts after the hbomberguy video mentioned Somerton was a business grad more than once #phoenix talks

Good morning, StudyBlr community!

Some of you have been asking about time management and my study schedule. I have made an infographic with my latest study time. I will explain a bit down here. This schedule is for when I have no classes or any pending university activity. 📖🧠🪄📆⏰

7:00-8:00 Exercise or just going for a walk for natural light exposure. Then have a healthy breakfast (fruits, protein and at least for me COFFEE or matcha)

8:00-13:30 Pomodoro I of 50:10. I use time blocking and the pomodoro technique. The first one allows me to set an intention and goals per block of time. The pomodoro I use is 50 minutes of focused work and 10 minutes of relax (getting up, stretching or just talking to a friend for that amount of time)

13:30 Lunch and sometimes a power nap max. of 20 minutes.

15:00-19:00 Pomodoro II of 50:10.

19:00-21:00 Leisure time with my partner and family. Talk about our days and have dinner.

21:00-22:00 Revise some flashcards before bedtime and also I check at least one of the lectures coming up.

I never stay up late studying unless I am overwhelmed and stressed. I take my sleep hygiene super serious and I sleep 7-8 hours.

༻`` 22 & 23 Mar 24 — Friday and Saturday

100 days of productivity 65 & 66/100

For some reason I kept thinking today was Friday.. I didn't finish all my chemistry notes but I finished 1 booklet and highlighted previous notes and I'm really happy with that anyway! Also, I did 25 pushups practically in 1 go!!! It's my goal for this month (which I've been building up to since January, around which I could barely do 1 pushup!)

Journalled today too and here is my plan:

I will keep micellar water and nail things by the sink (to improve and encourage general skin care)

I will keep my dog's leash on my desk (to encourage walking them more often —3x a week)

And I will get up to do something at 4.30 every day, even if only to sit back down after (to get some momentum and energy for other tasks)

For the remaining days of my 100dop I will report on my progress, as well as on my sleep schedule (🌙 10.30, ☀️6.30) —I was gonna say that it's 10.25 and I can actually still hit that goal today WOO!!!! But no its 11.25 TvT....

last night was randomly thinking about how she shot the I Can See You music video in England clearly because at the time they booked it months prior she expected to be in England during the break from tour to spend Easter with Joe and his family and then right before the shoot Joever happened and she still had to haul ass across the Atlantic to make the damn video even though it was probably the last place she'd want to be 😵‍💫 especially when the news broke while she was on set

#the fact that she booked the video in Liverpool in the first place WAS SUCH A SIGN OF HOW MUCH SHE TRIED TO MAKE IT WORK #there was no logical reason to shoot it there when LA would have been closer to where she was working and more saliently #made way more logistical sense for production #but she wanted to be home for whatever sliver of time she had #and rearranged her whole schedule to do it #(when the more logical thing would have been for him to fly to her for the holiday)#(but clearly it meant a lot and for all we know she loved spending the holiday with his family idk)
