Tad’s grandma. 

Considering how old Tad is now she probably passed away, maybe we could get a flash back with him and grandma. maybe a short with Kid Tad getting into trouble on his day dreaming adventures.

Professor Humbert

Ever since the first movie I don't see this professor anymore after the sleeping pill incident. He shown to care about Tad and encourages him so he could have  tutored Tad in archaeology since he clearly shows he a passion for it.

Also why didn't he just hire Tad to work in a museum? I know, I know Tad has construction job but the amount of times Tad gets fired from there it would make sense that he would have a second job why not the museum.

Ellipsis

A/N: This one is for @jazziergin who stumped me in the fic line game. She helpfully asked for Soulmate AU with a twist, obviously an easy thing to embody in a drabble 😛

But here we go, at least it's less than 1k this time. Hope you enjoy, love! Not convinced this counts as a twist but hopefully this is something different.

An ellipsis. That's what Kurt has tattooed across his wrist in the place that is meant to display the first words your soulmate says to you. A classic dot dot dot. The most mocking collection of punctuation ever conceived of. 

He has theories. But most of those theories all kind of point firmly in the same direction. He's probably destined to die alone. Even if the ellipsis is meant to indicate something, how is Kurt ever going to find the person that is embodied by something as abstract as a pause? 

He determinedly doesn't think about it when he gets to college. Either he'll find his soulmate or he won't. All he can do is keep an open mind and give himself the best possible chance of finding The One. He even signs up for an English Lit class with the absolute mammoth leap of logic that Lit students are much more likely to use an ellipsis in everyday speech than your average person. Like that’s something that’s likely or even possible to achieve.

He may be losing his mind. 

He regrets the decision immediately when he finds out the lecture is at eight am. He slumps in clutching his coffee and thinking fondly of his bed. He should drop this stupid class. It's way too early and he signed up for dubious reasons and they're reading Lolita for God's sake.  He doesn't need that kind of toxicity in his life. 

The bad mood lasts until the exact second an incredibly cute guy slips into the seat next to Kurt. Dark curls and warm eyes and a tiny waist that Kurt kind of wants to wrap his hands around. Cute Guy tosses an absent smile of greeting in Kurt's direction and it's the most radiant thing Kurt has ever seen. Holy fuck. He thinks he's halfway in love already. 

Kurt wants to say something, but is not caffeinated enough to manage witty repartee and this guy is hot enough to make him feel speechless on a good day. Instead, he goes to nod and then tries to change it to a wave. The result is that he just kind of twitches violently. Fuck. He’s lost it. A guy smiles at him and he’s completely lost it. He quickly grabs his coffee to try and cover for whatever the hell that just was and tries to pretend he’s anywhere else. 

The guy touches his arm, three gentle taps with his finger, and Kurt's eyes snap up, only to be surprised when a notepad is slipped in front of him with a single line of text. 

I'm Blaine. I'm not ignoring you, I just can't talk. 

Kurt blinks, frowning. And then he watches Blaine get his phone out and start up a text to speech app and it clicks. Oh. He gives Blaine a thumbs up and Blaine smiles slightly and touches his ear. Right. Blaine can hear. Which means that Kurt doesn’t have to resort to gestures as well. But he’s an idiot. So of course he did. He genuinely can’t wait for this hour to be over so he can go and walk into a deep fog never to be seen again. 

He does his best to focus on the lecture for the simple fact that the professor seems to be the sort to pick on people at random and he’s already suffered enough humiliation for the day without being caught not paying attention. It’s hard though. He can’t stop stealing glances at Blaine. He feels like he can’t breathe. His pulse is racing. He seriously wonders if he might be coming down with the flu or something.

He’s only dragged back into the moment by the most garbage take he’s ever heard a human being utter so confidently in a room full of total strangers. People usually save that shit for twitter.

"Humbert Humbert being a misunderstood genius is not the hot take I expected to be subjected to today," Kurt mutters before he can stop himself. 

He hears the intake of breath. He practically feels the way Blaine stills beside him. And then Blaine moves in a flurry, tugging up his sleeve to expose his wrist, shoving it under Kurt’s nose. Humbert Humbert being a misunderstood genius is not the hot take I expected to be subjected to today, it says in slanting script.

Kurt's mouth drops open. Blaine gestures, pointing at Kurt's wrist, a question in his eyes. Kurt slowly turns his hand over to show the three dots neatly pressed against his pulse. Blaine frowns and starts to sign something out before remembering. He grabs his notebook instead, scrawling out some quick sentences. 

Disappointed but not surprised to learn the soulmate system is so ableist. It can't even be bothered to have the first words I write to you? Unbelievable. 

Kurt laughs. Mostly out of shock and relief and the feeling of a heavy weight being lifted so suddenly it's like he could float away. All this time he assumed that the dots meant his soulmate would never speak to him for the worst of reasons. But his soulmate is right here. Blaine is here. Blaine is his. He’s literally won the soulmate lottery. 

"I thought you didn't exist," he whispers. "Because of this."

Blaine's eyes soften and he lightly brushes his fingers over the offending dots. But I found you, he writes. 

"You found me," Kurt repeats shakily. And maybe that's where he was going wrong this whole time. Years spent fretting over what the dots meant and doubting that he was ever going to find his soulmate.

It just turned out that all along his soulmate was meant to find him.

We have three male villains, if they ever make up a female villain, I'm going to be so hyped.

But I felt very bad for tad. Because for alot of stress and anxiety he had since the third film. And I'm worried if he ever had a stomachache/ upset stomach. If someone gets too much stress and anxiety, they probably might have stomach issues

i remember it was actually mummy who is confirmed to have that stomach issue when he's nervous lol but hmm yeah and tiffany could have so much more too, i think but something feels lacking to her. i missed freddy but i dunno if the creator can see what to do with him other than being comic relief (same issue with mummy, sigh) i do agree i wanna see a female villain like the one in tad3 concept art

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

Today’s book is Lolita, which is told from the perspective of Humbert Humbert who is a professor of french literature. His retelling of the story is said to be unreliable and dishonest as he plays the victim throughout the story, often blaming his infatuation with Dolores Haze [Lolita] as her fault. If you are uncomfortable with pedophilia or anything of the sorts, then I strongly discouraged you from reading this book.

- Lolita is a foil to Humbert in the fact that she hold her childlike innocence while Humbert suffers from demonic thoughts and feelings towards her.

- This book focuses on Humbert’s attraction to Dolores Haze and the contensious topic of hebephilia.

- Charlotte Haze [Lolita’s mother] shows the archetype of the good mother, not in the sense of actually being a good mother, but in the sense that her presence protected Dolores from the sadistic things Humbert wished to do to her.

- While Humbert is a hebephiliac, he shows multiple signs of narcissism, often self-victimizing himself and his inability to think of other’s feelings.

foil - a character who contrasts with the main protagonist to bring out their characteristics

hebephilia - the attraction to young children who have yet to reach puberty

archetype - a common theme or symbol within characters or settings (ex. the tragic hero)

narcissism - being overly self centered, selfishness, entitlement, and lack of empathy/emotions

I came up with a headcanon where Tad and Indiana Jones exist in the same universe because of the hat that Professor Humbert gave to Tad.

When the professor said "It belongs to Indiana Jones," it was meant to be a joke considering Tad was a spoof of Indiana Jones.

However, I like to have a little fun with this and think it could be possible.

Then, I thought of the hat as a passing of the torch thing.

Perhaps Professor Humbert received the hat from Indi during his younger days.

He is an archaeologist like Indi and got the hat from him. Years later, when Tad is fully grown and showing so much interest in archaeology, the professor hands the hat to him.

RESUMO: effie andou para que katniss everdeen pudesse correr. 

piadas à parte, effie tem um momento de raiva no centro de treinamento e decide ser criativa com os seus alvos. 

Grande coincidência que Effie Heart estivesse no centro de treinamento físico quando o anúncio do baile foi ouvido por toda a Academia. Ela não gostava de nenhum de seus professores, mas conseguia tolerar Hiccup um pouco mais que os outros, mesmo que o homem tivesse insistido em juntar-se ao grupo de docentes que a reprovara no último semestre — exclusivamente devido ao uso errado da nomeclatura para baba de dragão em todas as provas da aula dele e uma confusão entre as cores dos ovos e as espécies correspondentes. Tudo bem, Effie não prestava a atenção nas lições.  

Mas naquele final de tarde, foi a voz do homem repassando aquele anúncio esdrúxulo do Conselho, covarde o suficiente para simplesmente aquiescer com aquilo, que fez o sangue dela borbulhar sob a pele; que fez com que Effie procurasse as câmeras de segurança do centro de treinamento, encontrando uma no canto superior esquerdo do recinto onde quem quer que fosse assistir aquilo, pudesse ter a imagem perfeita de Effie Heart arremessando as suas copas cortantes contra uma série de alvos.

Antes, porém, ela tirou o caderno da mochila e arrancou.oito folhas brancas.

Na primeira, ela escreveu com a grafia desajeitada: Fada Madrinha. Na segunda, Feiticeiro. Terceira, David Charming. Quarta, Wendy Darling. Quinta, Phillip Adormecido. Sexta, Merlin. Sétima, Humbert Hunter.

E na de número oito, Mirana Marmoreal. 

Eram os nomes de mais da metade dos conselheiros e do chefe dos Defensores da Távola Redonda. Nomes que causavam um rebuliço na boca do estômago dela e os culpados por tudo aquilo. Pelo Castigo, pela doença de sua mãe, pelos seus amigos não poderem aproveitar uma única noite de baile sem serem lembrados do quão sujos são vistos por simplesmente existirem. Quão inferiores são considerados por terem nascido fora dos conformes perfeitos de Arthurian.

Pelo filho de Jafar que estava sendo mantido no Isolamento sem o mínimo da justiça sendo feita por ele. Uma criança!

Por ela; porque Effie Heart poderia ser bastante arisca e estar fervendo de raiva agora, mas tinha o direito de dançar com quem quisesse num baile. 

Na falta de uma fita para dar nomes aos alvos dispostos para o treino de arremessos, ela usou o kit de bandaids que Bénigne lhe dera no outro dia e grudou as oito folhas nos oito alvos.

Deu alguns passos de costas, posicionando-se atrás da linha vermelha traçada no chão, puxou o baralho de copas do bolso da calça cargo e começou o seu show. Ás de Copas no pescoço do alvo Fada Madrinha. Dois de Copas no Feiticeiro. Rei de Copas em Merlin... uma carta correspondente a cada conselheiro. 

Não era um protesto, claro que não! Estava apenas sendo... criativa. Ninguém nunca disse nada sobre não dar nomes aos alvos. Ademais, já havia usado fotos para decorar os alvos antes e nunca fora suspensa. Era uma brincadeira!

Por último, então, escolheu a carta da Rainha de Copas. 

“Essa é em nome da minha mãe, ouviram?” Anunciou, porque era fato que as paredes tinham ouvidos na Academia, antes de lançá-la no pescoço de Mirana Marmoreal. 

Effie se virou para a câmera e fez uma reverência, os lábios se curvando num sorrisinho ao levantar o dedo do meio para eles. “Off with their heads.”

o1. 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋. common etiquette applies: BE RESPECTFUL! that’s pretty much all i ask for. as mentioned above i’m LOW ACTIVITY and won’t be super present. i will always reply, sooner or later, but expect long times! i’m NON-MUTUAL FRIENDLY, but i do tend to be a little selective with who i roleplay with. remember that MUN AND MUSES ARE DIFFERENT PEOPLE, and what they think or do might not reflect what i would think or do.

o2. 𝐈𝐍𝐁𝐎𝐗 & 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐒. the prompts lists i reblog NEVER EXPIRE, and you don’t have a cap on how many you can send me! SEND AS MANY AND AS OFTEN AS YOU WISH, regardless of how “old” the list is, with or without plotting! any questions are always welcome, both ic and ooc! just please make it clear if you’re talking to me or my muses, especially if you’re going for a heavy hitting question or statement.

o3. 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒. my turns usually get really long: i tend to write multi-para and novella, and often don’t use any icon and minimal formatting. DON’T WORRY ABOUT MATCHING MY LENGTH OR STYLE. write as much as you like, being it more or less than me, and use any graphic you wish, i have no problems at all! i only ask you to write at least enough for me to work with on my next turn, so a couple of lines at least, and to keep the formatting readable. IF I NEED TO MODIFY ANYTHING, LET ME KNOW! i have no problems in modifying or straight up rewriting a turn. i’m open to roleplay pretty much anything, from the light and fun ideas to extremely delicate and dark topics, but i’m not interested in smut, as it makes me extremely uncomfortable.

o4. 𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆. i don’t require it for us to roleplay, but I ADORE IT! from pre-established relationships to entire plots to develop and roleplay together, if you have an idea, throw it at me! i’m open to have multiple plots with each character, and even with the same person: if there is something i love roleplaying for, is to see how differently things can evolve based on circumstances! basically, i just enjoy putting together ideas and writing, haha. so never fear of throwing ideas at me, i have never enough of them!

o5. 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄. while it is not a main focus for me, i easily get invested in ships and enjoy writing them! I GLADLY EXPLORE ALMOST ANY KIND OF SHIPS, unrequited and one night stands included. for toxic relationships i INSIST we plot it beforehand, and set our boundaries before writing absolutely anything about it. i ship characters that have some alchemy and am a big fan of slow-burns, unfortunately for me, so those are the ones that i’ll prefer. I’M NOT INTERESTED IN THE CHEATER TROPE, SO ANY NEW SHIP WILL BE IN ITS OWN TIMELINE. i do roleplay some suggestive but am highly selective with who i write it with. SMUT MAKES ME EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE, so i avoid it entirely.
