hey, i remembered the login for this account!
it’s been ages. more than five years since my last update. multiple attempts to control my weight since then. finally, it looks like i’ve been able to stick to it!
the first pic was from around the last time i tried to lose weight. i weighed probably 20 pounds more than my starting weight this time, so the photos show about a 60 pound difference
i’ve been keeping track of my daily caloric intake every day since early september. i haven’t been working out, or playing ddr [i don’t think my knees can handle it anymore lol]. i do work a job where i average about 18k-23k steps a day. but beyond that, just portion control and routine 5/7 days of the week.
and damn has it worked.
i still have about 14 pounds i want to lose, but if i can keep to this for the next 2-3 months i think i can get there. it’s just crazy to me, to see how far i’ve come, where i was and where i’m at now. past me would not believe this, at all.
i don’t really know what to say. to anybody that’s still around and still has me on their follow list, thanks for believing in me! to anybody that might be seeing my dumb face for the first time, anything is possible!
i might try to spruce up the page a little bit, we’ll see. until then, well... seeya next stage!

Wanted to try colored pencils again, like I used to use all the time before I moved to markers and digital art. I'll admit it was really fun but I also completely forgot what I was doing but that's fine--

Here we go again ! I ended up dealing with a lot of back and neck problems the past few years and a lot of stresses including job losses and of course covid things. But I'm finally on the mend !
Back and neck issues turned out to most likely be muscle imbalances due to 18ish months of bedrest over the course of my two pregnancies. So I'm very very tight in certain muscles and I'm having to find ways to loosen them up. I've already worked on lat and traps, and now I'm moving down to delt, bicep and forearms. I'm also working on my legs but those have chronically been tight my whole life so I don't know how loose I can get them. It's helping.
Now for my strength portions, to combat my imbalances I'm lifting to strengthen my weaknesses. I'm doing legs with a gluten and hamstring focus, back with a lat focus, and core work. I'm also throwing shoulders in there for vanity but not much. Legs on Monday and Friday, back on Tues Thurs, shoulders on Wednesday.
For the core I have decided to use yoga or pilaties for the bulk of the work in order to get more mobility work in the same amount of time. Yoga on Mon Wed Fri, Pilaties on Tues Thurs.
My cardio will be 30 to 60 min of walking every morning (the lower end of that for on days were I do more other work) .
For food I'm doing aprox 1500 ish calories a day will adjust depending on how I feel and how things progress.
Week one progress photos up, I've already seen improvement over my posture in the past 6 months of just rehabish work but I will hope to see more now that I can do a full routine again :)
Let's do this thing !
