The males have darker hindwings, and the species is found in Western Australia, South Australia, and Victoria. The wingspan is about 3.5 cms, and when resting they erect a scale crest behind the head. Quite a few moths have crests like that, to break up their outline. Many Notodontid caterpillars adopt a characteristic U-posture when they feel threatened. That's about the limit of information I have on the species - it's quite possible nobody has ever identified the larva.
HI!! I only recently found you but I was wondering if you had done the polyphemus moth, white-dotted prominent or blinded sphinx? the polyphemus is my personal favourite, would love to see it if you haven't done it yet. <33
From the noctuidae family. They have a wingspan of about 5 cm. They tend to inhabit deciduous forests at some elevation. They can be found across North America.
wawawa moth!!! this is Aiko, who is part of a story thing by SarwaNoodle. In summary, there's a moth town and it's inhabited by both normal moths and higher beings (who have horns and powers). Shapeshifters are banished to the void because of higher being politics.
Poor Aiko here is a higher being who happens to be a shapeshifter! She was found out and got banished and due to being in the void for so long she's a monster now. yippee!! :[[[[[

@galacticnova3 submitted: Second to last submission, a very cute prominent moth! Not from this year but I think as many people should witness it snuggling into its own fluff as possible.
Ohhhh you are correct I think everyone in the whole world should see this absolutely precious fuzzy little babe
I can't figure out why people are so enthralled and bewildered by this tower. It's just outside of town, there would be no harm in exploring it themselves? It's just a crumbling pile of stones atop a rocky outcrop. Hm.
A man, an ambush. Will write more later. Don't feel safe in falkreath, heading to a new place.
Sitting in the inn in Riverwood, having some time to relax finally.
Lying at the base of that tower was a man caught in a bear trap, who introduced himself to me later by the name Gore. Assumed I was a Thalmor, though given my appearance the only possible reason for that would be bloodloss. I pried him free, and shortly after we were ambushed. For a heavily injured man he was fantastic with a greatsword. Honestly, his blade is even bigger than a greatsword.
Originally he asked me to take him to Falkreath's inn, but given as I don't feel safe there I took the longer route with him, helping as much as he would allow until we arrived in Helgen. I am far too unfamiliar with my surroundings, short of my map, but I think my new companion knows where we are at most times.
Focus, back to Gore. He's a nord man, short, well built, brown hair and gorgeous eyes. He's told me he was a part of a band of skirmish enders call the Ravens, in Cyrodiil, that is now gone because of his former leader, Jo-Lee. He offered himself to me, as repayment, as a second hand. I don't have much to offer him, sadly, and voiced as much, but he didn't seem to mind or care?
He seems lonely. We've stopped at the inn, and he told me of the origin of his name. His mother's death by the thalmor, being found, his burns. He doesn't seem sad, at least not in the traditional way. But he certainly is lonely. Said I was the best friend he's had "in, well, ever".
Sadly, I think I would say the same.
He keeps calling me Blood and Brother. I feel nervous in ways I can't describe, and sadly I have no other clothes to change into so I cannot even get comfortable with him around. I'm very glad he's not calling me Sister, or the like, but I am still scared.
We sleep here tonight. I have a contract to kill the undead at Bleak Falls Barrow. We head there tomorrow.
Oh, before I forget. We saw some sort of large beast fly off over the remnants of Helgen. Gore thinks it's a dragon, that we need to warn the Jarl about it. I don't think it's our problem, I mean we're just two people. A dragon? Perhaps if he insists I'll consider it, but as it stands, it's not my problem.
