Here’s the final Portfolio. This is exactly how it looks like on ArtStation. 2 weeks in - because I was always chasing time - I decided to post it and kept updating with new stuff as I finished it.
Another thing I should address to you, my dear void, is my name change. I changed all the usernames and switched all accounts to a new identity. The appeal at having a fictional name was to be free to share and create whatever I wanted. But as networking is still the name of the game and I want to work at a studio, I decided on a solution that lies somewhere in the middle.
I can refer here from my real name, but the same doesn’t happen the other way around. Let me try to explain it: when I created my first art account I - like everyone else - shared it with the people I knew. My art was the secondary thing about me. I want this to be the other way around. I want my real person to be the secondary part of my art. So I erased the fictional name but I’m still not really sharing my real name. It’s a middle term that - hopefully - holds the best of both worlds.
