Prophets gained experience about the works of the Ummah by herding Sheep because when they became involved with Sheep,they practiced PATIENCE during herding Sheep and picking them up after they scatterd and transporting them from one grassland to the other taught RESPONSIBILITY and also PROTECTION (from the Wild Animals and Thieves around).Prophets saw and experienced the differences in the NATURE of animals,the violent disagreements among one another in spite of their weaknesses.In this profession Prophets also learned to live a life of SIMPLICITY.

By this way,Prophets became familiar with gaining patience for their Ummah,understanding the changes in their nature and their duty of responsibility and protection of their Ummah.

So,they showed mercy to their weak Ummah,wrapped their wounds and got along with them.

~Those who herd Sheep can tolerate the challenges of these kinds of attitude far more easily than sudden starters.When a person works as a shepherd,he learns to deal with these issue gradually.

Why Sheep? One might wonder why Sheep and not the Camels since the Arabs raised Camels. The reason is simple!

Camel is an arrogant and tough animal.You starve it for days and it will not complain.

But Sheep are small and weak.They require more of your care and attention.

Similarly,human beings are of all types.The weak ones require more care and attention; you cannot treat them with harshness.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم . The Messenger of Allāh (Allāh bless him and give him peace) said, “Whomever Allāh wishes well for, He gives understanding of religion” (Bukhārī 71, Muslim 1037). . Allāh has commanded us to worship and obey Him with sincerity, out of reverence, love and thankfulness. Allāh says in the Qur’ān, “And they are ordered to serve Allāh only, keeping religion pure for Him, to remain upright, and to establish worship and to pay the alms-due. That is true religion” (98:5). . THE SCALE:The worth of actions is weighed on the Scale. The intellect is unable to understand its true nature. The wisdom behind the Scale is to test the slave’s belief in the Unseen, to make reward and punishment known to him, and to establish a proof for or against him. . THE PATH:The Path is a bridge over the Fire that the people of Heaven will cross, while the people of Hell will slip and fall into the Fire. In his Iḥyā’ ʿUlūm al-Dīn, Imām Ghazālī (may Allāh have mercy on him) mentions that those who remain upright on the straight path in this world will be able to cross over the Path in the Afterlife and be saved, whereas those who leave uprightness in this world and burden their souls with sins will slip on their first step and fall off. .
