Hi. There are a Lotta scary things happening right now, aren't there?
I mean, from the still ongoing war in Ukraine, to anti-trans bills being passed left and right, to bans on books that teach kids about things like LGBTQ+ people to disabled people to probably even black and indigenous people, to just the also still ongoing coronavirus that people that are just refusing to take seriously anymore, to the willow project being passed, to Roe V. Wade being overturned, to everything else in between, I think it's safe to say that we have all had a fucking rough past couple years. Rough in the sense of "Got fucked by chainsaw with no protection on while trying to fight a fucking bear" if that makes any damn sense. And I know a lot of us are feeling hopeless right about now. I get it, I am too, we are in a very hopeless situation where it feels like nothing we do will change anything anymore, but please do remember that if give up, we let those who want to hurt our kids, our futures, win. And I for one refuse to sit back and watch as the life I was promised is stolen by greedy savage men who know nothing of me, and who never will, because they don't care. Now, I know this sounds like a kid who's mad at the goddamn world and who's gonna rant and ramble and rave about it till the light dies inside and they become a part of the machine that broke them. And it kinda is, to a certain existent, cause I am mad, and I do wanna go strangle some pasty fucking white bitches who are harming children as we speak, but I can't do it single-handedly, no one can. So this is also a call to all those like me, those who are being fucked over by the work of these pasty white boys and are growing sick in tired of it: Find people like yourself, build systems of support, help each other out, organize and protest, fight back against those who gain millions by killing us, remind them that you are going to die that you will not die quietly, and if worst comes to worst, help each other flea and make sure everyone is safe in some way. It may seem scary now, but that is because we all going through this heartbreak for what we have lost alone. If we stand together and fight together, I promise you it will not seem as scary. Oh and remember!: THE GOVERNMENT ONLY CONTINUES TO RULE WITH THE CONSENT OF US, THE GOVERNED. IF WE DECIDE THAT WE NO LONGER CONSENT, IT IS WITHIN OUR FULL RIGHT TO RIOT, AND OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT THAT SERVES NO ONE BUT ITSELF.

Stick to your rear windshield, your front door, your mailbox, wherever it needs to be seen. I didn't make the original blank template, so if you know who to credit that would be cool. Edit as you like to shout what social justice issue matters to you with the help of the OG SJW magical girl ✨️🌙✨️

Today is Red dress day. Remember and Honour all of the Native Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two spirits that have gone missing and have been murdered. Most of these cases are never heard in the public and they are sadly forgotten. Today I want to spread awareness for all Indigenous people, I want to share my culture and help others understand the importance of sharing stories from these victims.
I will be donating as well on this day to several sites that support native women and girls. And also a few sites that want to protect ICWA. I suggest you do the same but if you are not financially able to then spread awareness respectfully.🧡🧡
(I’m doing Donation commission 50% of the profits go to NICWA! this post-> https://www.tumblr.com/walterdoodles/719214714265255936/im-opening-up-some-donation-commissions-if-you )

Hmm I believe I remember learning a few years ago that when one is asked to acknowledge that they’re impacted subconsciously by systemic racism/sexism/homophobia etc, or is told that they’re behaving in a way that’s bigoted/harmful, “no I’m not” is the wrong answer. So I think some of you should get less excited about saying that when Jewish people tell you you’re being antisemitic.
#guess what. Your views on Israel and Palestine ARE in fact going to be influenced by the fact that one of those nations is Jewish.#Just as it’ll be influenced by the fact that one of those nations is majority Muslim.#Just as your feelings about police shootings will be influenced by the majority of victims being Black or Indigenous.#Just as your feelings about EVERYTHING will be impacted by the social forces that have shaped you and colour your perception.#Antisemitism actually DOES colour the words of people insisting that targeting Israeli civilians was a legitimate act of resistance.#Just as racism and Islamophobia colour the words of Israeli politicians and soldiers who insist that wiping out Gaza is a fair price to pay#for wiping out Hamas.#it has been absolutely staggering to see person after person on this site#casually assert that rules of war do not apply when the civilians they protect are Israeli#and refuse to consider even the SLIGHTEST possibility that the ease with which that assertion came to them#might have SOMETHING to do with an internalized belief that — say —#there is no such thing as a Jewish civilian? that all Jews are inherently loyal to other Jews above any loyalty to justice?#that all Jewish people wield a sort of inherent power that makes them less vulnerable and therefore acceptable targets?#Of course you’re antisemitic. Yes. You. I am too. We all are. We live in an antisemitic society.#And if you‘ll acknowledge that societal racism and sexism and homophobia inform your subconscious beliefs#and you’ll critically reflect on THOSE#but you won’t afford antisemitism the same dignity#I think that probably says something about something.#Just to be clear this actually isn’t a post that says anything about my stance on Israel and Palestine#because my stance on that is actually extremely simple— FTR it’s ’apartheid and war crimes and forced displacement are bad things’#but this is about the internet’s RESPONSE#and the downright celebratory glee that I saw people have on oct 7th#and the fucking twisted excitement they’ve shown treating further Israeli war crimes like ammunition to justify it#and the simple truth that — while I’ll believe you MIGHT still have condoned it —#I do not believe any of you would have CELEBRATED the massacre of thousands of civilians in a period of minutes#if. those. civilians. had. not. been. Jews.#Rhi talks#palestine#antisemitism#Yeah and I’ll post this one too. Anon is still on. String me up.

What happened to Nex Benedict hits home. I’m indigenous (enough for it to be notable, at least). I’m transmasc (I’m aware they were two-spirit and nonbinary also). I’m in high school. I use the girl’s bathroom.
From my own experience, using women’s/girl’s bathrooms as a transmasc is for safety reasons. They used that bathroom because it felt safer. And they were brutally murdered anyway.
The more I think about them, the more I realize that I could be murdered like that too. The more I think about it, the more I dread that the wrong person could see those headlines, think of me, and do the same thing. They could do that to my trans and nonbinary friends.
There is no such thing as a trans kid feeling safe. There’s a reason our suicide rates are so high.

"To be indigenous is to protect life on earth. By honouring the knowledge in the land, and caring for its keepers, we start to become indigenous to place."

i removed my post about nex benedict's bullies not just because the information is outdated, but because i want the real truth of his death to be heard.
police statement about their autopsy
i won't claim to know the ins and outs of nex's mental health, but the fact that the last thing that happened to them before they ended it all was getting beaten senseless is absolutely not okay and it really speaks volumes about how "different" kids are treated. bullying is still not justified under any circumstances
this never should have happened. the world needs to be a better place for kids like him. i'm sorry things went down the way they did, nex. rest in peace.

Just finished watching Wakanda Forever.
This beautiful story is filled with so much hurt and pain. A perfect encapsulation of the hurt and pain that the natives as felt, hispanic and latin people. Of the hurt and pain the Black people have felt, African Americans and those of mixed Afro ethnicity. Of the hurt and pain that Asian people have felt, Asian Americans and the natives of the Hawaiian islands. The hurt and pain that Jewish people have felt. The hurt and pain that we continue to feel today... In the "land of the free"
And in our pain we have clawed our way out. We have fought kicking and screaming to have our basic human rights. Rights that still to this day are ignored in favor of the system of white supremacy.
And in our pain, in our fight we have kicked down others who are equally oppressed. Allowing the colonizer to pit us against each other. When we should be our strongest allies.
And today, while there is still a struggle, we move more and more towards a future where we 100% have each-others backs. We share each other's stories, sign each others petitions, walk together in protest.
But that doesn't mean that with every step of the way the system won't fight back. Abortion rights, the pipe lines and oil drills. Schools banning books on the Lgbtqia+ community, Black and native history. Police brutality. Anti-Semitism. Hate crimes against APPI. Police raiding peaceful protests and arresting water protestors, POC, trans individuals. All for using their human right to speak their voice against destruction of their land, against violence and abuse again their communities.
We have a long way to go but its not FUCKING OVER!!

Today's opinion that'll get me burned at the stake is...
False Allegations aren't the huge problem that anti-feminists make it out to be.
It's a fucked up thing to do, and it makes it harder for real survivors to come forward, but the truth is even if we lived in a world where not a single person on this earth was shitty enough to lie about something that serious and the only people that ever made allegations were ACTUAL survivors, shitheads would bend their logic and deny evidence to "prove" that the abuser is innocent. Even then only 3% of allegations are proven false and a large portion of those aren't proven false by actual evidence they're proven false by people saying they lied out of pressure. Also, check statistics on how many allegations are proven false only for new evidence to show up a couple of years later proving them true, similar to what happened in the film "Unbelievable".
Now on to the part that is REALLY gonna get me burned at the stake. The whole "false allegations ruin lives" narrative is partially bullshit. Cause maybe they ruin lives while people still believe that they are true but once 70% of the internet is convinced you are innocent, people will justify every shitty action you make. Case and point Melanie Martinez.
Do nothing while your fan base bullies a smaller artist over a misunderstanding so dumb it makes me lose faith in human intelligence? Leah had it coming!
Have another accuser? They're probably a liar too!
Support AI art which puts artists out of a job? Let her be!
Sell NFTs and then paint them as good when it has been confirmed by professionals that there is no such thing as an environmentally friendly NFT? Leave her alone, people don't trust her because of Timothy!
Let her fan base spread transphobic and transmed rhetoric because her accuser identifies as trans, when trans people are at the face of a genocide? Omg y'all are chronically online?
Turn BLM into an aesthetic? At least she cares!!!!
Take a group of friends on a trip to Hawaii when Native Hawaiians were experiencing displacement and begging people not to go? It's not that big of a deal!
Melanie could kill baby Jesus and people would defend her, and it's all thanks to Timothy! And the shitty part is that a lot of these actions have real consequences that won't affect her, so if people are letting her get away with it, why should she change? There are plenty of other names I could think of right now but I've dug my grave enough.

an indigenous child in alaska named Chanel, is currently being kept with a racist white family after her mother was murdered.
this child should be with her grandmother, not a family that is calling her "native baby" and "Mowgli", they are not treating her right. indigenous families have a hard time in the court system because of systemic racism. help her get with her grandmother and help support the people trying to get her back
