Round 1D: The Republic of Sarah vs Walker Independence

The Republic of Sarah: The bucolic tranquility of Greylock, N.H., is upended when a massive vein of coltan, an incredibly valuable mineral used in tech, is discovered under the town. Lydon Industries swoops in with plans to extract the mineral and wipe Greylock off the map. Cordell held the gun steady while he reached for his ringing phone. He glanced away from Stan for a split second to check the caller ID, answering when he saw it was Hoyt. “What’s going on, Hoyt? Everything okay at the Side Step?”

“Yeah, Mendoza’s in protective custody over here,” Hoyt said. “Geri and Micki are in the back looking for evidence of the Nation filtering money through the Side Step. How are you doing?”

“I’m fine.”

“Stan confess yet?”

Cordell scoffed. “He’s still playing innocent.”

“Because I am.”

“Shut up and drive, Stan,” Cordell hissed.

“You got a plan B in mind?” Hoyt asked.

“What do you mean?”

“If he doesn’t confess, is what I mean,” Hoyt said. “I mean, we can get him for corrupt politics maybe but he still needs to pay for what he did to Emily. What’s the plan if you can’t get him to confess?”

“I will.”

“But what if you can’t?”

“I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.” Cordell still wasn’t sure how he was going to get that confession but he wasn’t giving up.

“That’s a bridge you need to plan ahead for, my friend.”

“Well what’s your bright idea then?”

Hoyt hummed. “I’m thinking you’ve got a gun on the man responsible for killing your wife. If the legal system won’t give him what he’s due…. May be time for a little vigilante justice.”

“Hoyt…. I can’t do that. I-I need to-”

“You don’t have to.”

“What does that mean?”

“I’m saying if you can’t bring yourself to do it, you can hand me the gun and I’ll do it myself.”

“Hoyt, I can’t ask you to do that,” Cordell said firmly. “That’s a life sentence you’re looking at. I thought you were going straight?”

“This is Emily we’re talking about,” Hoyt snapped. “I was ready to shiv Mendoza when your brother made us bunk buddies during his little investigation. He may be in the clear now but that sentiment hasn’t changed. You say Stan killed Emily, he deserves what’s coming to him. If you can’t do it, I will.”

“This isn’t just about Emily. This is about the Northside Nation. Stan needs to be alive to confess to all that and name all the big players. We can wipe out their whole operation if we do it right.” Cordell had to stay focused on that. The bigger picture. Even if he couldn’t get a confession out of Stan for Emily, he had enough to get him on corruption and collusion. If that was all he could get, that would have to be enough.

“If you say so….”

“Hoyt,” Cordell warned. “Do not do something stupid. Let me worry about Stan. You make sure Mendoza lives to testify against this bastard. Is that clear?”

“Yeah.”

“Don’t ‘Yeah’ me. I want to hear you say it.”

The other end was silent.

“Hoyt?”

“I won’t do anything stupid. I’ll just worry about Mendoza for now.”

Cordell didn’t buy that but he had bigger concerns at the moment. Like the sheriff’s vehicles blocking the road ahead. “I’ll get back in touch later. Stay safe, alright?” He hung up before Hoyt could reply and set it on the dash.

“Your friend gonna come kill me or are you gonna take care of that?”

“Shut up, Stan.”

Dear Kathryn,

I'm sorry. Whatever happened, however it happened, I'm sorry. I never wanted to go before you, but I always kinda figured I would. Even after I quit robbing banks and all that, I knew my liver and lungs were fucked from all that drinking and smoking I did before I quit for Caroline. I just hope I had a chance to say goodbye to all of you first.

I know I wrote a will and everything for my money and other "assets" (however much of that I got) but there's other stuff I didn't get to put in there. I want Caroline to have my gun. I want her to know I'll always want to protect her, even if I'm not there. And I want Brandon to have my boots. They probably don't fit him yet but I know he'll grow into them one day.

I love you, Kathryn. I've loved you for a long time, even if I wasn't always brave enough to say it. You brought out the very best in me and sometimes I still don't think I was ever worth it. But you thought I was and that's just going to have to be enough. Take care of our kids for me and don't rush on your way up here, okay?

With the Winchester brothers gone, Y/N didn’t know how to continue on with the fight. Of both monsters and her depression. But just when she’s about ready to get Miracle into a good home so that she could find a way to end her own life, she gets a visit from Paige. Her time protecting others just wasn’t up yet, she realizes that when she’s assigned to look after a troubled family down in Texas that had lost someone dear to them. Only issue is- Cordell Walker looks just like Sam.

But what you didn’t know, was that he could’ve easily been the long lost twin of Sam Winchester. He wasn’t, though. You knew that he wasn’t. But they looked so much alike, from the face all the way down to the tips of his toes. The only difference? His hair was much short, and the clothes he wore were not even close to being the same. 4 MONTHS FLASHBACK WAS SO WELL SET UP!!! Walker in the Duke outfit looked good enough to eat <3 Ok and I liked Twyla in the beginning PLEASE.

AUGUST COMING TO FIND HIS DAD OVER THERE. OHMYGOD OK LISTEN I LOVE U BUT U ARE AN IDIOT. Legitimately i was so mad Walker didn’t scold August for doing what he did. The conversation really broke my heart though. Walker was just pleADING with his eyes for August to go away but *sighs*.

Trey and Stella’s interaction was the cUTEST!!! I love Trey so much actually. And him being coach is smth I’m also very excited to see more of, he’s gonna be great!!!(this is a very nice time to add that Jeff Pierre liked my comment on insta<33)

And then we get to the best scene of this episode. Walker and Micki along with the others about to ‘’plan’’ the new raid so they can cover the missing 300K, walker being stressed about the August situation, shaking his hand and visibly trembling, MICKI HOLDING HIS HAND TO GROUND HIM SOMEONE TAKE ME AWAY I AM D E C E A S E D. THAT SO VERY TINY SCENE MOVED ME SO MUCH SHUT UP I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM.

THE WHOLE SHOOTOUT GOING THERE ENTIRE SCENE!!!! YES BADASS TEXAS RANGERS AWESOME GUN FIGHTING BAM BAM BAM.

Also i really loved the flashbacks of Duke’s undercover time. They were really well done and flowed with the story so much, how is this show real.

Loved Walker’s fake attempt to escape, so he doesn’t blow his cover, I don’t like Twyla anymore :) but i liked Duke, the character he was and ngl I ship Twyla and Duke, no one come after me for this.

WHEN HE GOT SHOT OHMYGOD FOR A SECOND I FREAKED SO BAD.(It’s just my Sam ptsd activating no biggie :/ i need to get over spn for my own good ohmyGod)

So as far as Twyla or Clint goes, Duke’s dead.......that might....come bite them in the ass later(after watching episode 6: oops i spoke too soon:) )

Clint and Crystal’s last dance moment was cute ok dont @ me bye

Speculation/Thoughts for Episode 6:- (what i felt when i first watched the promo since this is being uploaded after the 6th ep has aired i’m an idiot ok)

WHY IS GERI SELLING THE BAR I REALLY LIKE IT! SIDESTEP SHOULD REMAIN P L E A S E. ALSO HOYT RAWLINS IS COMIGN BACK OMG OMG OMG I LOVE HIM OK YEEEEE!!! And um Liam and James investigating Emily’s murder...........without informing Walker.........that’s gonna go well.....AND HELLO WHAT DO THEY FIND??? IK SOMEONE ON THE INSIDE IS INVOLVED OK.

Micki’s mom is coming in this ep! I wanna see how that one plays out since we know they don’t have the best relationship. *sighs* parents :)
