I keep seeing people talk about Palestine as if all hope is lost like they’re already gone and “the least we can do it remember them” and quite frankly I reject that. These people are fighting for their lives demanding the world to pay attention to them. Demanding their freedom and their right to exist on their own land. In light of the absolute atrocity that is happening in Rafah I am urging everyone to remember why we’re protesting and that these people ARE HERE. They’re alive, they’re real, they have a beautiful culture that needs to be witnessed and celebrated so here are some Palestinian creators you should follow because Palestine is not lost. It is not an empty land that’s gone. They will never be gone and we should all keep fighting until Palestine is free and not a second before because Palestine WILL be free again. I’m focusing mostly on Palestinian creators on tiktok because I think it’s important to see the physically and listen them and just acknowledge that they’re people, they should have linktrees to their other social media. I encourage you to visit their pages and interact with them because they are also being censored especially on tiktok. My platform isn’t big here so please feel free to reblog and also add more links, I would love to follow more Palestinian creators as well!
None of us are free until we all are. From the river to the sea. 🇵🇸🕊️🍉
@/mxriyum - a Palestinian woman who shares her amazing recipes passed down from her mother. She hasn’t posted in a while but there are many Palestinian recipes on her page that are absolute delicious. Please give them a try.
@/anat_international - a Palestinian woman giving updates on what is happening in Gaza but also shares about Gaza before the genocide. She is currently being heavily censored by tiktok for talking about the genocide and is doing more “influencer” like videos to beat the algorithm. So she’s sharing more stuff about the culture like Tatreez clothing, and organizing pottery painting sessions with people who are palestinian and allies. Extremely informative! She’s taught me so much.
@/sammyobeidthem - a Palestinian man who is a comedian. Genuinely so funny! And proudly Palestinian and talks about Palestine in his sets!
@/elyanna - a Palestinian singer. Her voice is insanely gorgeous. She has a song that has not been released on spotify called olive branch that is about the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
@/monamakeupdoll - a Palestinian make up artist, she’s absolutely gorgeous! She share tips and tricks and make up brands that support Palestine!
@/thatfalahigirl -A Palestinian Influencer she has a link in her link tree to purchase a Keffiyah if you haven’t yet there is even a discount! All proceeds go to Gaza via Pious Projects! She shows various ways to wrap it and shares her cultural clothes and I learned what dabke is because of her and it looks like so much fun!
@/amalzhamm - A Palestinian influencer she posts about her lifestyle and food and her family and it’s just so important right now to see happy Palestinian people. Palestinian mothers and fathers and children just existing. Like all of us do every day. And she shared this absolutely beautiful video of what palestine is like.
I’m going to end with this next one the very first person I saw on tik tok that educated me through his videos on Gaza and Palestine in October last year.
@/iamsbeih - a Palestinian influencer he posts about what is happening right now and what has been happening to the Palestinian people for over 70 years. He talks about his own family and his roots in Palestine the correct way to pronounce Gaza and Palestine. Just so much crucial information and i’m so grateful for him being willing to spend the time making these videos to educate people like me. He even posted a couple of palestinian songs (iirc they’re folk songs a lot of Palestinians in the comments know them) recently and they’re very beautiful.
Thank you. Free Palestine.

On my way to this weekend’s All Out for Gaza rally and march this past Sunday. It was a wonderful gathering of Palestinians, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Indigenous people, socialists and allies of all ages and backgrounds.
I was very happy to see the great turnout, and I had some wonderful conversations - most notably with a teenage Jewish girl who hated that her parents were Zionists and was counting the days till she could join the cause safely; and a very sweet older Muslim man who was very appreciative of Jewish pro-Palestine activism and was very interested in finding out if there was a temple he could visit so he could learn more about Judaism.
He also asked if there was some big overarching international Jewish organization that we could all organize under to collaborate on our anti-occupation work, and build a consensus among the world’s Jews. It was rather sweet, like this guy genuinely thought there should be an international Jewish organization, with no real notion that “international Jewish organization” is like an antisemitic conspiracy theory staple, but here’s this guy who genuinely is like “why don’t you have this, it would be a good idea!”
I just told him that there are orgs like ours all over the world and that we often collaborate with or work in support of organizations with similar aims.
I should’ve told him that just like with any people, you get five Jews in a room at random and they’re unlikely to come to a consensus about much!
Some of the excellent signage:

I don't want my country to descend completely into fascism, so I hate Biden for making that more likely to happen and I hate arab-americans for making that more likely to happen and I hate you for probably thinking it's funny and that we deserve it.
i don't know why you think i think any of this is funny or that you deserve it, but it fits into the mold you present that you are the real victim here, oppressed by palestinian-americans whose relatives are being bombed

This is the second time recently that I've gotten sick, and all I had to do was get online and I got to talk to a doctor within minutes.
And I can't stop thinking about Gaza.
How it should be just as easy and accessible to them. How it could be. How many people are dying just because of their lack of access to medication, to healthcare.
Ya Allah... I am not more deserving of healthcare than them, I am not more deserving of peace and my house, my family, my shelter, my security than they are.
Please reblog with whatever fundraisers y'all can find, I already am planning on donating to UNRWA, and the GoFundMe of several diabetic Palestinians trying to leave and/or get insulin.

Some army on twitter have taught people how to set the shortcuts on your phone to auto send emails to hybe calling for them to divest from Zionism. You can set it up for it to send an email when you open an app or at a specific time.
https://x.com/cloudedfalcons/status/1763731697680486840?s=46&t=F0ruB6zT_GT61ebpErUICQ
This is also perfect for those who can email their reps!
Also, if you haven’t signed the petition to get HYBE to separate from Zionists like Scooter Braun, please do so and share it. I know a lot of people are new to supporting different branches of social movements so it can be distracting for many in uplifting the movement while trying to remember that the focus is on supporting Gaza over condemning Scooter.
However, it’s important to remind the multi billion dollar company (which we the fans have made so powerful) that their compliance with a genocide and stance that it’s “just personal not business” (yes bang pd you too with that statement) has consequences.
If you’re heading out to a protest today, cover your face and body features, do not take pictures or live stream, stay hydrated, know your rights, and do not put yourself at risk if you are unable to do so. Many organizers know who to call for what and when are are comfortable being on the frontlines for a reason. If you’re not sure what to do, your lack of education and experience can cause more harm than good. Listen to the organizers, stay vigilant and Free Palestine 🇵🇸.

I actually don’t care if Israel is being held to a higher moral standard. “Well other countries kill civilians too” is a damning castigation, not a defense.
Not one more drop of blood. Not in my name.
Free Palestine.

For the poems for Palestine would it be ok if I split my donations? Like say sent 5$ to Anera and 5$ to PCRS would it still count?
absolutely!

woke up early this morning, and i'm thinking about glasses.
i can't see without them; seriously, the world just turns into a collection of colorful blobs. when i wake up sometimes i delay putting them back on and let the soft edges of the world wake me up slowly. the other day while i was walking to class they slid off my face and fell just over five feet to the ground and bounced along the sidewalk. the world had gone soft when i didn't want it to. i still had to get home--how could i get home if i couldn't see?
luckily, the cheap plastic frames absorbed the shock, and the harsh concrete somehow didn't scrape the glass (or is it plastic? have we swapped this for plastic, too?) lenses. i would have been fucked without the little scrap of plastic.
ten minutes later, scrolling social media while waiting for class to start, i came across that video of the hellfire missile--you know the one. i set my jaw and watched because, honestly, it feels like all i can do sometimes, the picture crystal clear through my glasses.
jesus christ, what do you think people in palestine with glasses are doing? do they risk taking them off to sleep and not finding them when the bombing starts late in the night? if the glasses slide off and break, is there tape around for a quick fix? is the world that i enjoy in the mornings, all soft and fuzzy edges, simply a new level of hell for them when the glasses are lost, and they have to navigate the rubble best they can?
glasses are fragile, delicate things, even if they're plastic and bendy and meant to be durable. they're an accessory you need, something without which many people, me included, couldn't function. how do you square that idea with a warzone? i search for my glasses after my shower when i can't remember where i put them down. do palestinians have to search for theirs during breaks in the bombings? do they shift through rubble looking for the shine of sunlight on glass?
i don't think i can articulate the terror that comes with the inability to see. with losing the one thing that keeps you functional. and i'm in a city and not facing literal occupying forces every moment of every day. the situation in palestine is already horrific and terrifying and every other word i can think of. but now all i can focus on is what they do with their glasses? how do they keep them safe? what if they break and then. well, how do you navigate a warzone suddenly gone fuzzy?
once i cut open my hand while cooking and got blood on the lens. by the time i'd closed up my hand, the blood had dried, and cleaning it out of the nooks and crannies was a bitch. i'm reasonably sure glasses-wearers in gaza haven't even had a chance for the blood to dry.
it seems stupid, i know, but i can't stop thinking about the fucking glasses. christ alive, some people out there are in a warzone, facing genocide, and are relying on plastic or wire to be able to keep the world in focus, just like me. my biggest worry is they'll shatter on the concrete. not be buried under rubble.
my heart goes out to palestine. i'm doing what i can from here. but today, while i'm doing that, i'm going to be thinking about glasses.
