my dad (birder) (midwesterner) has been talking about a (five-syllable word with to-me identical vowels) warbler family nesting nearby & i finally just keysmashed with approximately the correct consonants at the ghost of a good search engine & was directed to this lady
she is Protonaria citrea, the prothonotary warbler, & she's named for her plumage looking like the yellow robes that prothonotaries (one of the ranks in the catholic wizard hierarchy, specific to the byzantine empire) used to wear
here is an article about prothonotary warblers, which includes a very good illustration of a prothonotary (human, tonsured) surrounded by warblers

Genus: Protonotaria
Prothonotary Warbler (Mdf, edited by Fir0002)
A cavity nesting warbler with a preference for water makes this wood-warbler a good indicator species for its swampy habitat. The genus etymology comes from the papal clerks of the Roman Catholic church (prothonotaries), who wore bright yellow robes. The bird also apparently played a role in the conviction of Alger Hiss, an alleged spy.
"Although Hiss repeatedly denied ever knowing Whittaker Chambers, the ex- communist who accused him of espionage, Chambers had testified that the men were friends. To verify this, Chambers admitted knowledge about many personal issues, including that Hiss was an amateur ornithologist who had been excited at seeing a Prothonotary Warbler along the Potomac River. When asked later, Hiss independently admitted that he had seen the warbler along the river. As a member of the House Un-American Activities Committee investigating the Hiss allegations, freshman congressman Richard Nixon played a prominent role in proving that the two men knew each other and that Hiss had perjured himself." I'm regards to my post of a Prothonotary Warbler I recently made a post on Instagram (@introvertedswimmer_photography) where I talked about this endangered species. Here's what I had to say:
Love these cute little Prothonotary Warblers. Despite them being an endangered species under Canada's Species at Risk Act and Ontario's Endangered Species Act, I have seen this bird multiple time in my over 10 years birding career. As someone who always looks forward to seeing this adorable bird yearly, I cannot imagine spring birding without it. Habitat destruction and the draining of the forested swamps is resulting in habitat loss and the decline in these birds. I am calling everyone to help to revive habitats for these beautiful cute birds to prevent them from going extinct and becoming just a memory. Please spread the message and talk to people about this habitat destruction.

I decided to sell some of my cross stitch patterns on Etsy. So if you’re looking for a cross stitch pattern of the goose from Untitled Goose Game or a Profanity Warbler (prothonotary warbler saying fuck) here’s the link: https://chaoticstitchedgoose.etsy.com/listing/1609627897

(I don’t have a finished photo of the profanity warbler because I made the pattern and the finished piece as a gift)
