Then thinkin' about how Kyungsoo, a somewhat aloof, awkward and weird boy who decided to be bold and try out for SM after old people at karaoke competitions told him to and he made 8 brothers for life who love him dearly and support him and his antics and his acting career and call him cute no matter how much he says he isn't good at anything and that he's boring and Manly and how he has starred in a full-ass movie and is partially credited as breaking the "idol-actor" stereotype and writes love songs with chanyeol on the DL that chanyeol reveals on his lives and wrote the lyrics to a lovely, comforting song for us before leaving to join the military so he can become an even bigger star in multiple films once he gets out

Then thinkin' about how bbh, an outgoing boy who flicked lights on and off to make his friends giggle, met a friend for life, kjd, on the very same day they both were to audition to get into a group that was about to debut, how he worked hard to break down barriers in the group and became the moodmaker, and how people thought he was bad at dancing because he hadn't had time to train but actually every solo dance he's been given he's slayed to the point that he became the CENTER FOR CBX, how he worked hard to learn piano in a very short amount of time to play The Answer for his EXO-Ls, how even after an early scandal in which is privacy was invaded he still looks at us with such love and protection and is NOW an amazing solo artist who texts the exo group chat saying he misses them so much

Then thinkin' about Suho. Kim frickin' Joonmyeon. The underdog of the entire group. Born rich, charismatic and well-educated, could have been ANYTHING but CHOSE to train for SEVEN YEARS due to his love of music. You guys. When Baek and another member got into trouble for cussing while playing video games sometime in 2012-2013 and a sasaeng threatened to reveal the voice clips of them cussing purportedly to apink members, joonmyeon texted her personally, so cold, so professional, "are you blackmailing us? If you release the clip you won't be forgiven" big fuckin dad energy, worked so hard on his singing and dancing yet still asks not to be given too many lines or placed center too often, gives up his seats for his members ALWAYS, accepted their first awards show win alone stoic and professional as the boys broke down in the back room after the news of kris leaving broke, now has multiple solo songs and acts and is literally set to be higher-level management at SM due to all his hard work, definitely puts out that goofy mom energy but is actually extremely intelligent, protective and the go-to guy for all the members and this para has no point i just think kim joonmyun deserves everything

Remembering that chanyeol has a famous sister and is a multitalented instrumentalist that didn't actually need to become an idol, but he did because he wanted "brothers", how he skyrocketed an entire foot from debut til now, how he's all teeth and ears and big anime eyes and legs and he's confident and happy after years of struggling w his weight and self-image, makin music and writing lyrics and modeling for tommy hilfiger and riding scooters in paris and despite the fact that he can't dance he tries, despite the fact that he didn't audition to be a rapper he became one of korea's best, how he turns into a little kid every time he's around any small animal and just tries to cuddle and feed it as he coos in his Low Man Voice, his tough raps but then his soft exo station song SSFW, and now exo-sc with his bestie and ACTING!!!

Thinkin' about Xiumin. Xiumin who came in as a vocalist and ended up being one of the best dancers in the group (even tho he hits the highest notes!!!). Xiumin who is the oldest and wisest but is still willing to throw that ass back to havana to make cbx laugh. Xiumin who is korea's pick, who kids and ahjummas alike fall for. Xiumin who is beautiful and quiet and humble and supports his brothers from the sidelines, who is so loving and caring, who released an adorable solo that matches him so well and is now winning fckn awards in military training for being so goddamn amazing. Xiumin who attends TVXQ concerts and supports all of his fellow celebrities. Mark's dad. Amazing man. Says he has no friends outside of exo but literally everyone loves him. Dedicated his formative years to the group even when he wasn't spotlighted like he deserves to be and-

Didn't leave, although I'm sure he was mistreated just as much as the members who did. All of exo loves him so fucking much.

Kai. Kai who could have been a professional ballet dancer, could have been a full-time model, debuts as the SCREAMO BOY in mama. Gets made fun of for his skin complexion. Is shy and embarrassed for the first 2 or 3 years of exo interviews, and is still pretty shy and introverted. But boy became the fucking IDOL'S IDOL. FANCAMS GOING VIRAL LEFT AND RIGHT. SUSTAINING INJURIES, CRYING WHEN HE MESSES UP AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT DANCE ROUTINE TO "I SEE YOU". Is such a perfectionist to the point of pushing himself into constant injury, and besides that has had his personal life broadcasted all over the news MULTIPLE times even though he's so shy and withdrawn irl. People cry to meet him, now. Front and center of every exo dance. A dancing god and the reason half of NCT auditioned. I cannot emphasize how proud I am of Kai, who is only a few months older than sehun yet has had to grow up so fast as the face of the group. Solo during the olympics with plantar fasciitis. Model who stuns at every Gucci show in new and experimental designs.

Sehun. Oh fuckin' Sehun. Ran away from recruiters because his mom told him not to talk to strangers, and now he's modelling for every major fashion campaign, is on the cover of vogue, has his dream dog and certifiably has the biggest dick of all exo members. Became a main dancer through hard work and practice even though nobody ever talks about how hard osh works bc he's sort of overshadowed by kai. Insecure about his singing voice but makes crowds go wild every time he even croons out one beautiful, dulcet line. Babied by junmyeon, kissed and coddled by all the exo members, still has Big Baby Energy but is debuting in a group with his fellow chaotic neutral yeol and looking all sexy with his swooped back hair and his 0 follows on insta. Sings in We Young and raps his little heart out. His solo during concerts still shake my very uterus and im pretty sure he's gay. That's how powerful ohs is, and he can only go up from here.

And finally my baby boy kim jongdae. Chanyeol once said Jongdae is so nice that he comes off as stupid and that is absolutely positively true. Boy is the manifestation of the john mulaney quote "you could pour soup on my lap and id apologize to you". Is a ray of fucking sunshine whose only goal as he was singing in that video from high school was to "become a singer". It's his passion. It's the reason he LIVES. He prays to jesus before every concert but worships music. One of THE best vocalists in the game with the cleanest and most controlled voice, sings in the shower, sings in the car, sings while walking to pet some deer, sings because he loves it and now he's a soloist with his own album out and another in the works, and not only that, he dances his feet on fire in CBX and exo routines and remains steady to hit those high notes. Duets abound because everyone loves him. Will tell a bitch to back off when talking about his private life bc he's probably a husband with 6 happy, healthy children at home. Started out as the nervous boy chasing a dream on that fateful day with bbh and became the nation's pick, sings CONSTANTLY, yet is still so humble he opens up a yt channel just to cover other artists' songs. MCs for Baekhyun's solo and shows up to all his performances to monitor. Heart of gold. Smiles when he's hurting. Deserves this solo career and deserves the happiest life this world can provide him.

Words aren't enough to express how grateful I am for these men, how proud I am and how much I just want them to know that we know how hard they've worked to get as far as they have. Compare them to any other group, even other SM groups, and it's clear that their passion, drive, skill and professionalism is unrivaled. They are all born artists and musicians down to their core, and with that, they're all kind, sweet people who are who they are because they debuted as 18, 19, 20, etc year old men 7 years ago and have grown up together, suffered together, celebrated together and loved together. They've switched up sounds, concepts, gone experimental, have created some of the most beautiful ballads and harmonies music has ever seen, and they strive for nothing but the best. ALWAYS. They have never disappointed me, and they never fail to inspire me every time they show the fruits of all their labor (as well as multiple creative people and teams that come together to create EXO) onstage as one.

67. good luck charms? idk how to describe it but it’s this little metal toy helicopter i got from my grandfather. the axis is detached from the copter itself and spins on a screw that you can balance on top of the copter to make it spin on its own. my grandfather used to keep it in his office where he read the newspaper in the mornings, and when my family and i visited him i always stayed in the room right next to his office so he would be the first person i greeted every morning. after he passed away a few months ago i took the helicopter home with me as a memento of him because i miss him so much

69. a fun fact that you don’t know how you learned? it takes as much force to bite off your finger as it does to bite off a carrot. that’s one of my favorite facts i’ve ever learned

in my family, i’m always considered the “smart, quiet, and responisble” one and like i get it bc when i was younger i was really shy and serious, especially compared to my siblings but i’m trying to break out of that role and strive to be the funny one (bc im hilarious???????) 

i talk really fast and when i’m nervous or excited it gets ten times worse so i dont even make sense half the time when i speak bc im just making up words as i go 

i used to be REALLY shy in high school like to the point where i wouldn’t even talk (in grade 7 i had like 0 friends tbh it was traumatizing) but i’ve gotten better at controlling it and i’m a lot more open now but there are still times where i completely shut down and freak out and sometimes i’m terrified of being alone bc it gives me flashbacks to 7th grade (i’ve gotten better at this too so im proud of myself but yeah it’s hard for me to make friends sometimes rip like i hardly ever make the first move irl)

some headcanons bc gosh dangit i need self indulgence

-when im frustrated at being treated like a kid- he totally understands. this gremlin hecker grown ass five year old understands. he lets me rant to him and cry into his chest when im all worn out and then just holds me tight. and i feel like shit bc i know he must know- and i treat him like the irresponsible idiot he is and worry im being hypocritical but he just smiles and laughs. i feel like hed say something like “is it childish? is it not? what does it matter, its what you’re doing and thats all that matters” and eventually we both laugh through tears and just cuddle

-we go on a disney date- my personal favorite or one of them. that and ballroom dancing. but anyways, im reminded unintentionally of all the questionable school memories i have there and for a second its awkward but then im like “its ok! im here to make new memories w you! right?” and then eventually he suggests we do the same stuff i have bad memories of and im shook. but he explains it “you liked doing those things until people ruined it for you? what if i give you new memories of those things and maybe we can make it together something you can enjoy!” im even more shook but we totally do it. he lies on my lap in potc and im shook. “arent you gonna hit me w your purse” -awkward silence and blushing- “its..... a different feeling than before” im flustered af my gremlin boyfriend is too cute. we go yell spoilers on btm but im like “itd be rude to talk about guillotines around someone whos first love was marie antionette- besides idk if hes read totc” but he comes up w the idea instead of spoiler spoilers we do spoilers as in “spoil yourself” so its stuff like “treat yourself” and “remember youre important and deserve happiness” and its the most wholesome shit. we both try out the fiddles its wild. lets be honest if this is existing irl that would mean everyone realizes i have a boyfriend and hes a musically talented pissgoblin named after a famous classical composer id be even more of a flustered mess and he would love it. “oh! let me play a love song for you!” random kids would insist i was a disney princess and id be even more rip in ripperoni. hed give me a look like “im sorry youre not enjoying this, ill be good” and then i manage to squeak out “no! i love you! aaaaa i mean i love thi- well you know what i mean!” shitgremlin literally melting me. i feel like at some point hed meet a pretty girl whos sad/crying in the park and start borderline flirting to try and cheer her up, and like i get back or something and also try to help out, like maybe her friend had to cancel and she doesnt want to spend the day alone, so we keep her company until her friend arrives, and motes is kinda surprised im not upset or jealous but im just like “you were helping out a stranger, i couldnt be more proud of my wonderful bf” im like the least jealous person around my pissgremlin boy bc i know hes the sweetest person ever and itd be rude to hog all of his sunshine and positivity to myself. this got really rambly wow. anyways tldr motes is a good boy and an amazing boyfriend and i finally have a disney date au that isnt an angstfest looks at hans (not that i mind im 110 percent down w helping my redhead pointy nose boys actually love themselves but sometimes ya gotta get a pink nightmare pissgremlin to help you love yourself)

-also other ppl bc this weird “im not a kid stop treating me like a child” complex is out of hand. cascu (well anycu but cascu is my main boi) treats everyone like hes their uncle but somehow it doesnt feel mocking when he does it? i feel silly bc hes old af and im probably still a kid to him but he just talks it out like a regular hecking person. he just kinda gives an empathetic sigh and gives me a pat, letting me cry into his tiddy until i feel better. then when im all good we just go back to work or whatever and he kinda teases me about it, but in a joking way. then says something like “hehe, of course im joking, anyone can see youre responsible and hardworking” and im shook. def gonna give that boyo a kiss and a thank you

Okay so, a few things to go over.

Tribal went swimmingly once again. Although I was worried of a potential idol play AND a potential tie, Jose went home. Not necessarily the GREATEST move for my game since I got along with him more than Mo, but it's not that big of a deal.

On the other hand of the spectrum...TRIBE SWAP AND I COULDN'T BE MORE STOKED for it. Myself, Mo, Felix and Ahrre hold the majority on Merica with Wes looking in. I'm hoping we can pull off a win at the immunity challenge anyways cuz IT'D BE NICE TO FRIGGIN WIN FOR ONCE, LOL. But if we lose, it wouldn't be too big of a deal.

o no bby... i've been separated from my other half </3 but i'm here for a switch up.... i love that there are 3 tribes now and the swap was very mixed up, like every tribe has a unique dynamic so i'm v intrigued. my tribe has 4 from og Sewyn with me, Rhys, Jones, Madison along with Tobi as the lone og Mercia hmmmm. hm. Tobi is not a stranger to me so that is a door that is open... I haven't talked with Madison at all yet oops, and only a little bit with Jones. So like... this swap... haha... im the only one from my old tribe in the new sweyn.. haha... love getting swapfucked haha... but like lowkey i think i can work this out so like ryan already came to me and said he wanted to work together which is AWESOME (if he's telling the truth that is) because we have played together in the past (but like... i blindsided him... so not such good history..) and like i think i can work on jones too (we literally played an org prior to this together... i voted her out too...) so maybe im okay??? okay so this might be totally like... completely off.. but madisin (medicine?) said she was gone for 5 hours and like... idk it could be an indication that she might be a more inactive player compared to most and I could possibly use that to my advantage to find a crack but like idk I feel like there's a big chance im gonna be unbelievably swap fucked and im not gonna get to merge but all i can do is try my best in these immunity challenges (but not too good hehe) so that i can avoid tribal council

Hi I have more than one thing happening so I’ll sum up the smaller things in bullet points then go on my paragraph long rants: - Jose got voted out and I’m sad I hope he wins fan favorite - two of my favorite people irl, Mo and Madison, BOTH have strikes and I’m sad :c Time for the rants: SO I think the most important thing that happened was a tribe swap? And it’s like,,a double edged sword Bc I’m on a majority tribe with it sweyn, BUT a good ally of mine, Scott/Scoots/Scooty was SWITCHED onto another tribe and that makes me sad :c he has all my castle info, and I have all his and we were working well together :c at least he’s on a sweyn majority tribe NOW ON THE OTHER HAND in Scooty’s place,,,Tobi joins the tribe!! Which is honestly really great when it comes to being friends, but like,, game wise tobi is so scary. I’m obviously not gonna rely everything I do based on what happens in previous orgs, but scooty said he plays the same way a lot. So that could be messy/lying constantly as far as I know. I don’t want to vote him out yet though, so hopefully we can keep winning immunity and keep him safe? I’d hope? BUT If we do go to tribal council, I think my first vote would go to Madison. I love her to death outside of this game and she does really well in orgs, but I know she’s not mentally in it rn to put her heart into it. BUT she did give me an idol clue!! Which is always great, but she hasn’t really put a lot of effort into everything else challenge wise so I feel like she’d be pretty expendable if that makes sense. I think right now the most exciting thing for me right now though is just the fact that I, for ONCE, have options. Which is GREAT and that’s all I have to worry about. Wish Sweyn luck in the live tribal!!

FUCK ME. Damn luck has not been in my side this game damn so now it’s 3 vs 2 and I’m in the seeming minority so my best move right now is to turn it the fuck up and be a social butterfly make the connections and hopefully make it further along or at the very least make them go after dani first. I’m also gonna try my bestest to find the idol so hopefully me and dani can make it further.

Okay so I already feel closer to Toby that everyone else on my tribe what. Legit talked to him for 2 hours but had more of a conversation with him then, compared to everyone else On my tribe.

don’t know if I ever put it in but when I first got on the swapped tribe, I thought I was likely alright! I got Scott and Linus on my tribe, and the lovely big tuna. So to me it’d make sense to gun for Michael to go, but he’s kinda nice so idk if I want to try that. And then earlier I was one post away from giving us immunity, and I feel bad that I couldn’t do that. I just hope I don’t go home for this or anything.

Madison and Jones completely fuck that challenge. Then me and Ryan go out consecutively at 9th and 8th. Like fuck. I want Tobi to be safe. I don’t want him going home.

Somehow this fucking legend pulled something out of his ass and he slayed the other tribes cause fuck. He won immunity and reward.

Yet to know the reward. But Tobi made it seem like he didn’t want to go to tribal. Fair enough, reasonable. But it was him sounding like he didn’t want to loose someone in the tribe. Maybe that’s me being paranoid as fuck but it makes me wonder if my tribe r active and just don’t talk to me. So hmmm let’s hope I’m not being silly and blind

OMG IT FEELS SO FUCKING GOOD TO WIN IMMUNITY FINALLY. I'm so proud of my boy Felix for coming clutch for our tribe. If we had lost, I'm pretty sure Wes would've been gone, no question. But I'm glad to finally be safe for once.
